Koh Samet is an island in Tambon Phe, Mueang Rayong District, Rayong Province, in the area of ​​Khao Laem Ya-Mu Ko Samet National Park. This may be because Koh Samet has fine white sand beaches all over. The reason it is called Koh Samet is because there are many white and red Samet trees. The villagers use them as torches to light fires.
