- The Sultan Abdul Samad Building, named after the Sultan of Selangor, was built in 1897 and served as government offices during the British occupation. It currently houses the Supreme Court, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, and the 40-meter-high clock tower. These are old buildings in Merdeka Square, showcasing Moorish architecture. The 40-meter-high clock tower is often referred to as Malaysia's Big Ben, and is topped with a large golden dome. Built during the British colonial period as the administrative center of the British colony, the building now houses government offices.
- The Petronas Towers are twin 88-story buildings in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and are a prominent symbol of Malaysia. They were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004, and remain the tallest buildings in Malaysia today. The towers are notable for their skybridge connecting the two towers, with Suria KLCC shopping mall and KLCC Park located below.
