One of our favorite camping sites in Kuching is Kampung Sting, where we stayed at Kiyau Campsite. Kiyau Campsite offers a range of accommodation options, including chalets, tents, and domes, providing flexibility for different camping styles. Both Kampung Sting and the scenic Bengoh Dam are located along the same route, making it convenient for visitors who want to explore both areas.
Most visitors opt for a 2-day, 1-night stay to fully experience the stunning landscape. We arrived at the parking lot at the base of village , where we waited for the 4 wheel drive transfer. For those unfamiliar with the route, taking a transfer is recommended, as the narrow mountain roads are steep and winding, which can be challenging for regular vehicles.
