Lake Louise is a glacial lake situated in Banff National Park. It is fed by meltwater from the Lefroy & Victoria Glaciers.

Elevation is about 1,750 m.

The lake is very close to the Community of Lake Louise (village) and lies roughly 55‑65 km west of the Town of Banff.

Iconic Scenery: Turquoise glacial water, mountain backdrops like Victoria Glacier, and often picturesque reflections in calm weather.

Accessibility: Unlike some remote alpine lakes, Lake Louise is fairly accessible by road & infrastructure. There are trails, facilities, lodgings (like the Fairmont Chateau), and shops in the nearby village.
