Today we came to Leshan City in the rain to visit the world-famous Leshan Giant Buddha. Although it was drizzling, it did not hinder us and we set out to explore this unique landscape where Buddha and mountain blend together.

The Leshan Giant Buddha is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is one of the important Buddhist sites in China. This magnificent Buddha is 71 meters high and stands on the Qixia Peak of Lingyun Mountain, looking lifelike. The head is so huge and majestic that one can't help but feel awe.

During the visit, we were pleasantly surprised to find that there is an ingenious drainage system inside the Buddha, which carefully protects the Buddha itself. Walking up the Lengyun plank road on the left, you can experience up close the majestic sight of the Giant Buddha overlooking the river gorge, which is truly breathtaking.

There are many surprises hidden in every part of the Buddha, such as the stone carving techniques of the hair, the structure of the ears, the drainage system of the chest, etc., all of which show the wisdom and ingenuity of ancient craftsmen. The plank road on the right allows us to appreciate the exquisite carving art on the Buddha's head up close.

This thousand-year-old Buddha has gone through countless hardships, but it still stands. When visiting Chengdu, you definitely cannot miss this awe-inspiring attraction. Let us continue to explore the charm of ancient civilization together! 🙏🏼🌿
