The mountaineering you can achieve

One of the best experience for me personally around Lijiang was a beautiful Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It is so powerful and string feeling to be in the top of the mountain of 4680 m above the sea level.

The beauty of the glacier (whick is not as big during summer when I was here) and a wonderful view of the valley from above are absolutely unbelievable for those who never exporienced that altitude before.

However, for those who have some short breath problems or lung problems it might be dangerous, and at least another tank of oxygen should be considered to purchase, especially when you take the cable car from the touristic area in the valley. Your body doesn't have enough time to adopt like it would during the normal hiking. Usually the problems are shortness of breath, especially while climbing another 300 meters up after the cable car station, dizzyness, etc.

I decided to challenge myself and take this whole trip without oxygen. It was great to understand that I could make it.

The best way to go to the touristic area is to buy a package that includes 3 must have activities on this area:
Lijiang Impression Show
Blue Moon Valley ticket
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain cable ticket
And of course a drive to the touristic area and back.
Touristic area is well organized and you can take a transport to any of those areas from there at any time.
