Guan Ye Street is located in the heart of Taipa, Macau. Walking on the street, the charm of the old Taipa old district comes into view. The historic restaurants on both sides attract an endless stream of tourists to the old street.

In 1983, Guan Ye Street was opened as a pedestrian zone, the first pedestrian zone in Macau at the time. Since then, many souvenir shops and dessert shops have gradually opened in the street It can be seen everywhere in the noisy street, becoming a must-visit area for tourists to Taipa; there are constantly many famous delicacies stationed in this street, causing Guan Ye Street to be often crowded.

The old market, built as early as the 19th century, was converted into a square in 2003 for the rest of the public and tourists after the market moved out. Currently, the government regularly holds a Taipa market every week to promote the cultural and creative development of Macau. Visitors who like handmade gadgets should not miss it.
