Macau | Senado Square

Opening Hours: 24 hours

Senado Square, also known as "The Fountain", has been the city center of Macau since its establishment. The buildings on both sides were constructed between the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In 1993, the square was paved with black-and-white mosaic stones arranged in wave patterns, complementing the vibrant colors of the surrounding heritage buildings. This design creates a strong Southern European ambiance.

Nearby notable landmarks include: the Post Office Building, Holy House of Mercy, Municipal Affairs Bureau, and St. Dominic's Church.

Senado Square is also home to numerous eateries, souvenir shops, and stores, making it a popular destination for tourists.
