Nyingchi's October Colorful Forest Secret Realm: Witnessing the Sunlit Golden Mountain

Who says Nyingchi is only beautiful with peach blossoms in spring? The Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon in October is truly breathtaking!

As soon as you enter the scenic area, you’re amazed—the trees on the mountain have all changed colors, red, yellow, and green mixed together, as if someone splashed a big bucket of paint on the mountain. Riding the sightseeing bus further in, on one side flows the rushing Yarlung Tsangpo River, its water a deep green, and on the other side stretches the colorful forest covering the hills. When the wind blows, the leaves fall rustling down, carpeting the ground like a rug.

The most worth-waiting-for sight is Mount Namjagbarwa. We were lucky the day we went; the clouds completely cleared, and the snowy peak was crystal clear. When the golden sunlight hit it, it looked even better than in photos. Walking to the Suosong Village area, you can casually sit down at a farmhouse, order a bowl of Tibetan noodles, and watch the distant snowy mountain and the nearby colorful forest. It makes you feel completely relaxed, with all worries gone.
