[1] AOSORA PARLOR
A smoothie shop on Kurima Island.
Enjoy smoothies made with Miyakojima-grown bananas and brown sugar. 🍌
The view from the Kurima Bridge, which you cross on the way to the shop, is also beautiful!
Be sure to stop by while you're out for a drive! 🚗

【2】 HARRY'S Shrimp Truck
Located right next to the Nishi-Henna Cape Observatory, facing Ikema Island.
The covered tables offer ocean views and good ventilation.
Rooms are available for rent, and it seems you can eat on the grass.
Shrimp marinated in Miyakojima's awamori and salt, crispy with garlic. 🍤
It's so addictive! ✨️

[3] BLUE SEAL Painagama Branch
BLUE SEAL ice cream is a must-try when you visit Okinawa!
With so many flavors to choose from, including salted chinsuko, brown sugar, and shikwasa, it's hard to choose...
There are two locations, but the Painagama branch is right on the beach!
The interior is also cute and pop-style ♡

[4] Koja Soba-ya
Established in 1932, this long-established Miyako soba restaurant is located a 10-minute drive from the airport, and the ample parking is convenient.
There was a waiting line even at 2:30 PM!
However, the turnover was fast, and we were able to get in right away. ☺️
The rich, gentle broth, generous toppings like mozuku seaweed and loin meat, and soki soba made at the noodle factory next door are absolutely delicious.
The Juicy (seasoned rice) is also incredibly delicious and highly recommended! ✨️

【5】 DOUG'S BURGER
Owned by an American lawyer (from Tokyo) who loves Miyakojima. 🍔
Their American-style burgers feature Tarama beef patties and yellowfin tuna caught in Okinawan waters.
They also offer a "No Veggie Burger," a burger that lets you enjoy just the meat!
They also have a location on Ikema Island, from which you can see the ocean. ✨️

[6] Gill Breathing
This izakaya is located on Nishizato Odori, the main street.
Recommended for those looking to enjoy a full range of Okinawan cuisine, including sea grapes, jimami tofu, rafute, goyachampuru (bitter melon chanpuru), and sashimi. ✨
This time, I went early, so I was lucky to get in. ♪
They have locations on Honshu, but it doesn't feel like a chain.
The sashimi in particular was fresh and delicious! I was also pleased with the quick turnaround time from ordering to delivery. ◎
