We started with a hearty Okinawan breakfast - the famous Spam Onigiri, miso tofu flavour was so so so good.

🐋 Underwater Wonders at Churaumi Aquarium
Next stop: the Churaumi Aquarium — where giant whale sharks glided through massive tanks, and coral gardens glowed in deep blues. We stood in awe, watching sea turtles and rays dance across curved glass.

🍱 Lunch at a Hidden Gem
For lunch, we found a small family-run eatery, tucked in a quiet village. Tatami mats, home-cooked dishes, and kind smiles made it feel like stepping into someone’s home. Okinawa soba never tasted better.

🍦 Sweet Pause with Blue Seal Ice Cream
An afternoon treat of Blue Seal Ice Cream, bursting with local flavors — beni imo (purple sweet potato), shiquasa citrus, and sugarcane. Cool, creamy, and unmistakably Okinawan.

🌅 Sunset by the Shore
We ended the day sitting by the shore, watching the sun dip into the East China Sea. The sky turned tangerine and lilac, the waves whispered goodnight, and everything felt still.
