[Nagoya] 🍂 Ghibli Park

Located in the nature-filled Expo Memorial Park in Nagakute, Aichi, this park facility allows visitors to walk through the world of Studio Ghibli. There are five areas in total, from the first phase opening in November 2022 to the "Valley of the Witches" in March 2024.

🎬 Introduction to the five areas
1. Ghibli's Big Warehouse
A warehouse space filled with exhibits where you can "become" famous scenes from the movies, short animation screenings, and materials from Ghibli works.
You can also take a break at the attached cafe and shop.
2. Hill of Youth
Reproduces the world of the works, such as the Earth Shop from "Whisper of the Heart" and the cat office from "The Cat Returns".
3. Dondoko Forest
Feel like Totoro with the wooden playground equipment "Dondoko-do" and access by slope car for a little adventure.
4. Mononoke no Sato
Opening in November 2023. A quiet natural area where the forest from "Princess Mononoke" is recreated.
5. Witch's Valley
Newly opened in March 2024. A building in the style of Howl's castle, as well as rides such as a merry-go-round and a flying machine, are also available! The architecture won a special award in the "Minna no Kenchiku Taisho" (Minna no Kenchiku Taisho).

💡 Tickets and access
• Ticket types:
You can choose from "Grand Stroll Ticket", "Grand Stroll Ticket Premium", and "Stroll Ticket" depending on your purpose and budget. Entry is by reservation, and there are areas where re-entry is not permitted, so be sure to check the plan.
• Business hours: Mainly 9:00-17:00 (9:00-17:00 or extended hours during long holidays, etc.) / Closed on Tuesdays, etc.
• Access:
・Directly connected to the Linimo "Aichi Expo Memorial Park Station", walking is OK
・There is also a dedicated shuttle bus. The site is large, so you will have plenty of time to move between areas.

The architecture and scenery from Ghibli works are reproduced exactly as they were. There are no thrilling attractions such as roller coasters, and the style of discovering things at your own pace on your own feet is unique to Ghibli Park.

• If you want to see everything in one day: First thing in the morning, we recommend "The Big Warehouse" → "Hill of Youth" and "Dondoko Forest" → Lunch → "Mononoke Village" and "Witch's Valley" in the afternoon.
• Many photo spots:
・Photos of famous scenes at the Big Warehouse
・An extraordinary experience on the flying machine in Witch's Valley
・You can also get into the Totoro mood at Dondoko-do.
