The first place we think of when we come to Nakhon Pathom is Wat Phra Pathom Chedi Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan or Phra Pathom Chedi, a bell-shaped pagoda, the largest stupa in Thailand. Inside the pagoda is enshrined the relics of Lord Buddha. And at every door is Phra Ruang Rojanarit, a sacred Buddha image.
It is a symbol of Nakhon Pathom Province and is revered by Buddhists and visitors.
