Studio Gifts West is located behind the ticket gate of the Universal Studios Japan entrance. This is where tourists can get their tax refund.

Tax Refund Procedure:
Prepare your passport, the items you purchased at USJ, and your receipt. The total value of the items you want to get your tax refund must be over 5,000 yen (excluding VAT). USJ will charge a 3.3% processing fee.

Opening hours: 14:00-20:00, but it is recommended to apply for a refund before 17:00 because the last queue is at 19:30. And if it is in the evening, there will be a long queue.
