Osaka

Review of traveling in Osaka, Japan: A vibrant city that melts your heart 💖🐰

Hello everyone! Today Boom will take you to visit "Osaka,"
the cutest city in Japan, full of charm, fun,
and delicious food that will make you say wow~ If anyone is planning a trip to Japan and wants a destination with culture, shopping, and food all in one, Osaka is the place!

Day 1: Arrive in Osaka, ready to explore!

As soon as I landed at Kansai Airport, my heart was pounding
because this was my first time visiting Osaka. After passing immigration, I took the Nankai Line train into the city to Namba Station,
a popular area where everyone comes to relax and shop.
There are tall buildings and colorful neon signs everywhere. The sparkling lights at night make you feel like you’re in a Japanese movie.

I started walking around Dotonbori Street, which is very famous
as a pedestrian street filled with many restaurants, cafes, and shops. The lively atmosphere is full of laughter and the aroma of delicious food.
I didn’t miss trying “Takoyaki,” round dough balls stuffed with octopus. Eating them hot, they were soft, fragrant with spices and the shop’s special sauce—so delicious I couldn’t stop!

Day 2: Adventure at Universal Studios Japan

The next day we went to Universal Studios Japan, or USJ for short! I must say this place is perfect for everyone, kids or adults, because there are many rides and zones to choose from.

The first zone we visited was Harry Potter World, which really felt like stepping into a magical world. The Hogwarts castle was beautiful and grand.
I tried Butterbeer, a sweet and creamy drink with a unique flavor only found here.
Then we went to Super Nintendo World, full of bright colors and cute Mario characters greeting fans everywhere. There were fun rides that made us feel like we were inside a real game.

Day 3: Shopping and cute cafes in Shinsaibashi

Today we woke up a bit late and went for a stroll in Shinsaibashi and America Mura, Osaka’s popular shopping districts.
There were so many cute fashion stores, it was hard to choose!
Both famous brands and small shops with adorable decorations.
We also stopped by a fluffy souffle pancake cafe. When the pancakes were served, they looked so cute I almost didn’t want to eat them, but they were so delicious I had to take a second bite.
Paired with rich Japanese green tea, it was a perfect snack.

While walking around, I also found a cute stationery shop
and bought notebooks and pens as souvenirs.

Day 4: One-day trip to Kyoto

Kyoto is very close to Osaka, so I didn’t miss the chance to visit for a day trip.
We started at Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, famous for its thousands of red torii gates. Walking through them felt like entering a fantasy world.
I hiked up the mountain, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful nature.
Then we strolled through Gion, known for geishas and maikos. By chance, I saw a maiko in a kimono walking by, and at that moment, it felt like I had traveled back in time.

Day 5: Delicious eats at Kuromon Ichiba Market

Kuromon Ichiba Market is a must-visit fresh market for food lovers!
I saw fresh seafood like shrimp, shellfish, and squid that looked so appetizing.
I tried grilled scallops with butter that were sweet and juicy, crispy tempura shrimp, fresh fish sushi, and large sweet strawberries. It was such a delightful meal.
If you like trying new foods, this place has plenty of options at reasonable prices.

Day 6: Shopping for souvenirs at Namba Parks and Don Quijote

On the last day before leaving, we went shopping at Namba Parks, a beautiful mall with a rooftop garden.
The atmosphere was great, perfect for relaxing and taking chic photos.
Then we stopped by Don Quijote, a store selling souvenirs and a wide variety of products.
I got snacks, cosmetics, and cute items, filling my bags with gifts to take home.

Little tips for the best Osaka trip
• Buy an ICOCA or Suica card for the easiest travel
• Wear comfortable shoes because you’ll walk a lot
• Download a Japanese translation app to help read menus or ask for directions
• Bring your own cloth bag because plastic bags are rarely given in Japan
• Don’t forget to try new local foods for the best experience

Summary of impressions 💖

Osaka is such a lovely city with great food, a fun vibe,
and authentic Japanese culture. It made me very happy
to eat delicious food, meet kind people, and enjoy a full trip.
If you’re planning a trip to Japan, I highly recommend Osaka.
I guarantee you’ll love it as much as I do!
