📌3-day Georgetown travel plan

📍Trip Overview: It's relatively easy to get to. The weather is similar to our hometown, but it gets dark later. It's easy to walk around in the evenings. We mostly walked around the city, and after three days, we covered everything.

🚩Travel Route: We mostly took the city bus. It's very cheap and goes everywhere. Just tell the driver and insert the coin.

🏖️ Must-Visit Attractions: Penang Hill is a must. In the evening, take a walk along the seaside near City Hall. It's very chill.

🚇How to Get There: We took the train from Hat Yai to Padang Besar, then took the Malaysian Komuter train to Butterworth. Then, we took the ferry to the island.

📷Photo Spot: In front of Building 2 on Beach Street. It has a very European feel, but in reality, the buildings are all similarly white.

🍜Recommended Food: I recommend the nasi lemak at Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu. It's so delicious and the portions are so generous that we couldn't finish it all. When we went, there weren't many people, so we only had 2-3 people in line. Another place is Be Hwa Cafe. We went before heading back home. The food is varied and delicious.

🏠 Accommodation Recommendations: We stayed at Apollo Inn. I highly recommend it. It's comfortable and close to various attractions, within walking distance, and close to the bus station. Very convenient.

💡 Caution: There are a lot of homeless people along the main road. If you're traveling alone at night, it's best to avoid walking. However, if you're in a crowded street food area, it's not a problem.
