Krabi–Phuket: A Southern Sea Trip with Clear Skies and Stunning Beaches

This trip, we decided to go for a 2-in-1 southern adventure! Starting in Krabi, we took a boat to explore the islands before heading over to chill in Phuket. In short, it’s a trip that makes your heart reluctant to leave. 🐚

🏝 Day 1 – Krabi & Phi Phi Islands
As soon as we arrived in Krabi, we hopped on a speedboat to Phi Phi Islands. The water was incredibly clear, with an emerald green hue contrasting beautifully against the limestone cliffs—so stunning it made us go "wow." Here, you can enjoy snorkeling spots, find Nemo fish, and marvel at the crystal-clear sea that needs no filter.

Next, we visited the "Thale Waek" (Separated Sea), where waves bring sand together to form a sandbar in the middle of the sea, allowing you to walk as if parting the waters. For the best view, visit during low tide in the morning.

⛵ Day 2 – Maya Bay & Relaxing Boat Ride
Another must-visit spot is Maya Bay, made famous by the movie "The Beach." There are plenty of photo opportunities, and the water is clear and tranquil. Plus, there are fewer boats now compared to the past, making the atmosphere more peaceful than expected.

🍜 Back onshore, we enjoyed southern Thai cuisine at the night market. The seaside restaurants are reasonably priced, and the seafood is genuinely fresh.

🚗 Day 3 – Heading to Phuket
We took a boat from Krabi to Phuket, which took about 2 hours. Once there, we rented a car to explore the island, stopping by Phuket Old Town to admire the Sino-Portuguese architecture, take photos with beautiful street art murals, and enjoy a leisurely stroll. We also visited some minimalist-style cafes scattered around the town.

☕ Our favorite cafes were "Baan Suwanna Coffee," with its vintage wooden vibe, and "The Shelter Coffee," a must-try for drip coffee enthusiasts!

🌅 We ended the day by relaxing and watching the sunset at Promthep Cape. The cool breeze and breathtaking views made it a serene moment, leaving us feeling grateful to have experienced it.
