Butterfly Valley Huajian Homestay: A spontaneous getaway

Even intermittent heavy rain couldn't dampen our wanderlust. Craving nature's tranquility away from crowds, we embarked on this journey with our dog to embrace the great outdoors.

For pet owners, finding pet-friendly accommodation is top priority. We made a last-minute booking after seeing rave reviews about Butterfly Valley Huajian Homestay's exceptional welcome for furry friends!

Located about 15-16km from the highway exit, our noon departure timed perfectly with check-in. Qingyuan truly lives up to its reputation as Guangzhou's backyard garden—post-rain mountain air so fresh it instantly soothes the soul.

From the moment we entered, we fantasized about settling here permanently. The homestay's lush greenery and thoughtful landscaping reflect the owners' dedication.

Our room was exquisitely clean and tidy, with miraculously dry bedding despite the rainy season. A private hot spring pool and pavilion awaited right outside—automatically filling after 6pm. Sipping tea in the pavilion, listening to raindrops patter on bamboo leaves, was pure bliss!

The hostess went above and beyond, providing fruits and ingredients for stove-side tea. Roasted sweet potatoes were divinely caramelized. We're smitten—coming back every time without fail.

Address: No.1, Lane 7, Shangshan Village, Shatian Neighborhood Committee, Fengcheng Street, Qingcheng District, Qingyuan.
