Santorini, a vibrant mountain town full of surprises

Santorini must be every girl's dream destination. When you finally see it with your own eyes, it feels like a dream come true. Everything here is simply adorable. Although there are many tourists, it doesn't feel chaotic. The locals left me with an impression of warmth and friendliness.

Wandering through the alleys, it feels like you don't even need to search for the perfect photo spot—everywhere is picturesque. Every snapshot looks like a postcard. Plus, there are cats everywhere, making it a paradise for cat lovers! ❤️

If you love buying souvenirs, you might go crazy here! There are so many cute items to choose from—miniature houses, magnets, keychains, and various artistic paintings. The selection is endless!

As for food, there's no need to worry about whether Asian travelers will enjoy it. At least on this trip, every dish I tried was delicious! On a hot day, you can have some gelato, and if you want something lighter, try Greek yogurt—it's not overly sweet! Pairing great food with stunning views is truly a heavenly experience. 🥰

However, since Oia is a popular tourist spot, if you want to avoid crowds while taking photos, it's best to head out early in the morning. The scenery at dawn is especially beautiful, as the rising sun bathes the entire mountain town in a dreamy shade of peach-orange. Coming here makes you realize that such a dreamy destination is not out of reach. Even if your English isn't great, you can still travel here on your own. Basic communication is enough, as most people speak English.

One tip: bring comfortable walking shoes. The only downside here is the unfriendly stone steps, which can be quite a workout! But as the Greeks say, without these challenging steps, there wouldn't be such a unique and beautiful mountain town view. They have a point! 🫶

We visited in October, and the temperature difference between day and night was significant. It was also quite windy, which made it feel cooler. During the day, the sun's UV rays are strong, so it's a good idea to bring a light jacket for both wind and sun protection.
