1. Susukino Nika Sign
One of the famous photo spots that comes to mind when you think of Sapporo.
It is located in the city center, so there are many things to see and do, including shopping.

2. Sapporo TV Tower
There is an observation deck where you can see the entire city of Sapporo.
A great spot to just take pictures in the park!

The name "Sapporo" comes from the Ainu words "Sat poro" (サッ・ポロ, Sat poro, 'dry and wide land'), "Sari poro pet" (サリ・ポロ・ペッ, Sari poro pet, 'a place with a large wetland'). An American-style planned city was built as a base for the development of Hokkaido in an uninhabited place.
