A Must-Visit Spot: "Cheongwadae"

You can enter through either the Main Gate or Chuncheon Gate. I entered through Chuncheon Gate. At the entrance, my belongings were inspected, and I scanned the QR code received during reservation to enter.

The route I took was Chuncheon Gate -> Chimryugak Pavilion -> Presidential Residence -> Main Building -> Main Gate -> Reception Hall -> Yeomin Hall 2 -> Nokjiwon Garden -> Sangchunjae Pavilion -> Chuncheon Gate. It took about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the tour!

Maps and tree guides are available at the Main Gate, and Yeomin Hall 2 has a souvenir shop, lounge, and restrooms.

I visited on Monday at 1:30 PM, and it was quite crowded! 😊 On weekends, waiting times for the Main Building can range from 30 minutes to an hour. Luckily, I didn’t have to wait to enter.

If you’re visiting Samcheong-dong, it’s worth stopping by! While same-day reservations are difficult on weekends, there were plenty of slots available for same-day reservations on weekdays. 😊
