[Shanghai Jing'an Temple] Shanghai's three major temples located in the city

Jing'an Temple was built in 247 by the order of Sun Quan of Wu. It was located in a different place at the time, but was moved to its current location in 1216. It has a history of 1800 years, but the building was rebuilt after the Cultural Revolution, and its golden brilliance makes it feel different from Japan.

The way to worship is to hold incense sticks over your head in the middle of the grounds, bow three times to the north, south, east and west, and pray. In front of the Buddha, kneel and bow deeply three times. It's awkward if you're not used to it, but everything is an experience.
