The moment I arrived at Aman Shanghai, I was struck by its tranquility. Despite being located not far from the bustling city center of Shanghai, a sense of serenity enveloped the space, as if cut off from the outside world. The design, a harmonious blend of modern sensibilities and traditional architecture, made walking through the hotel feel like exploring an exhibition space.

The guest rooms were decorated in a minimalist style, minimizing unnecessary decorations. The soft lighting and wooden materials created a sense of comfort, reminiscent of nature. Opening the curtains revealed a garden and pond, a private view rarely found in city hotels.
