📍Universal Studios Singapore USS
My first time entering a theme park alone. Stepping into Universal Studios Singapore feels like instantly being transported into the magical world of Hollywood movies. This is the only Hollywood-themed park in Southeast Asia, with a "small but exquisite" layout that condenses the world’s top amusement experiences.
The most thrilling ride, and my favorite, is definitely the "Battlestar Galactica"! It’s the world’s tallest dueling roller coaster, racing at high speed on suspended tracks with 5 inversions, delivering the ultimate thrill. However, you can’t bring your phone while queuing for this ride, which made the wait a bit boring. Luckily, I went on a Monday and didn’t have to wait long, plus it’s so fun that it’s totally worth it!
If you’re not up for such intense rides, you can join the Transformers 3D battle and fight alongside Optimus Prime. The 4D effects and dynamic ride, along with the mummy effects in the Ancient Egypt zone, offer a thrilling story-driven experience! Many rides also have single rider lines, which are like free fast passes. Even though the wait time was 60 minutes, I used the single rider line and finished in 6 minutes🤣 If you don’t mind sitting separately from your friends, the single rider line can save you a lot of time~
Universal Studios Singapore has seven major movie-themed zones, each hiding magical movie Easter eggs, perfect for photo ops! The best spots for photos are Minion Land, New York, and Hollywood! Also, there’s a smoking area inside the park that’s actually quite photogenic. When I was there, no one was smoking, so I took photos and didn’t want to leave😂😂
Additionally, the size and feel of Universal Studios Singapore are similar to HK Disneyland. After playing, you can head to Sentosa’s beach or other nearby spots to continue having fun, which is very convenient!
Whether you love thrilling rides, story-driven attractions, or just want to take great photos, this place has it all!
