A very nice afternoon at Palawan Beach

During our recent stay at Sofitel Sentosa, booked via Trip.com, we explored Palawan Beach - from the pathway at Sofitel’s swimming pool area leading to nearby Tanjong Beach up to our ultimate destination - Baristart Coffee at Siloso Beach Walk.

It was a Saturday afternoon in June and there were a lot of people on the beach! After being cooped up indoors (at home or in hotels) due to covid, it was such a nice thing to see several families, couples or group of friends bonding and having a good time on the beach! Several people were lounging – either at the beachfront, on their mats/beach towel or on the big swings found near the Sunscreen Dispensing Kiosk. Post-pandemic, this was the most people I have been exposed to 😂 To be honest, I have been working here for over 8 years but this was my first time on Palawan Beach!

Before we reached the Palawan Hanging Bridge, we saw a spinning class at the beachfront! Dunno if that was an activity permanent in Sentosa or if it’s just there because of the island’s anniversary.

My cousin and I traversed the hanging bridge which ultimately lead to The Southernmost Point of Continental Asia. Photography enthusiasts can go up either one of the two towers to catch the sunset.

Kids can also play at the Hydrodash - Singapore’s first floating aqua park, based on it’s banner.
