South Korea is a country where ancient traditions and cutting-edge technology blend seamlessly, and nature takes your breath away with its beauty! My trip was absolutely magical, especially because I visited during the cherry blossom season — streets and parks blanketed in a sea of pink petals created an unforgettable fairytale atmosphere.
Seoraksan National Park is a true natural wonder! The Seorak Mountains are part of the park and are famous for their dramatic cliffs, waterfalls, and temples. The view from Ulsanbawi Peak (873 m high) is simply mind-blowing!
Everland — one of Korea’s most famous amusement parks! I rode the legendary T-Express, one of the world’s steepest wooden roller coasters (with a 77-degree drop!). The park also has a zoo and botanical garden, perfect for relaxing after adrenaline-pumping rides.
Gyeongbokgung Palace — a majestic symbol of the Joseon Dynasty! Walking through its grounds, I felt like I’d traveled back 600 years. The Royal Guard Changing Ceremony was especially impressive, with vibrant traditional costumes and music.
Sokcho Lake — a peaceful oasis in Chuncheon. The calm water mirroring the surrounding scenery and scenic walking paths make it a perfect spot to unwind.
South Korea gave me unforgettable memories, and I dream of returning! If you get the chance — don’t miss this incredible country, especially in spring when the cherry blossoms bloom! #korea
