This place is called “Oh Poy, Morning Market by the River” located in Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province.

Most of the vendors in this community are Thai-Karen people. The word “Oh Poy” means “rest” in the Karen language.

In the morning, monks will come on bamboo rafts with the community leader. The community leader’s attire is unique to the Karen people. This is considered the highlight of this place. Almsgiving starts at around 7:30 AM. It is recommended to go there early.

The market is quite lively. There are both food and products for you to buy. This place focuses on using natural materials, which are very good for the environment.

It is another tourist attraction near Bangkok that you shouldn't miss.
