The unforgettable Suzhou that soothes tired eyes

To date, the city Suzhou remains etched in my memory. I remembered fondly the impressive Pan Pacific Suzhou hotel that is located right next to scenic Panmen, the river landscape at night viewed from boat rides and shantang street bridge as well as the gorgeous gardens of greenery and grey stones. It was extremely easy for a traveller to get around Suzhou and explore these places free and easy.

A local driver recommended a visit to the Lion Grove Garden. He felt that it was more beautiful than the more popular Humble Administrator's Garden. I can see why as the former is a compact curated garden. The latter is also beautiful in its own right. Do visit both and see for yourself. The 2 gardens are located near each other.

Everything in Suzhou that I had seen came together to form a beautiful canvas. It's an artwork that I would like to admire in person again.
