Strolling in Asakusa, Tokyo

Asakusa is perhaps the most popular tourist spot in the heart of Tokyo. Both foreign and local tourists enjoy walking around as it has a lot of shops and restaurants that surround the famous Senso-ji Temple.

I’ve visited the place four times already but every time I go there, it still gives me that excitement and fresh perspective. Tokyo is such a big city but Asakusa makes you feel like you’re outside the metropolis.

In Asakusa, you can buy souvenirs such as sweets, ceramic bowls and teacups, kimono and yukata, and other traditional items.

It also has a popular street filled with kitchen stuff shops where local chefs frequent to. #urbanexplorer
