Traditional Japanese Delicious Breakfast in Shinjuku "Kissashitsu"

Generally, when staying in the city, I usually don’t book breakfast. I like to get up early and find the most authentic flavors in the alleys; although it’s a chain with over 10 stores in Shinjuku alone 😳 each store varies slightly in size and atmosphere, but the most important thing is that the food is delicious 😋

💫 The interior is spacious, with a strict separation between non-smoking and smoking areas. It has a nostalgic vibe, but there are still cute staff members who help take photos~

"Morning Set / Set S / Iced Coffee / 1,100 yen"

💫 I chose the most deluxe sandwich: filled with teriyaki chicken, cheese, potato salad, tomato, and lettuce. It’s substantial and the meat-to-vegetable ratio is well balanced. It was so delicious I finished it instantly; the rich blueberry sauce drizzled on the yogurt, accompanied by a bowl of hot clear soup, left me puzzled!

💫 The ham and egg toast set with an additional 150 yen coffee is also a great deal. The sandwich’s toasted crispiness is just right. Although it’s just a thin slice of ham, its aroma and saltiness are perfect. Why bother eating hotel buffets for breakfast anyway? 🤣

📍 Near Shinjuku West Exit No. 7, or turn right after exiting Toei Subway Shinjuku Sanchome Station Exit E3, on the corner 2F
