A train journey from the capital Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang on the Lao-China Railway, which just opened at the end of 2021🚄

Buying tickets is tricky,

Station ticket counters → far from the city, only open when the train is coming

City ticket counters → always crowded, only the Lao version of PayPay can be used

Hostel/online → 3 times the price, must be booked a few days in advance

App → only Chinese payment methods can be used

It was a high hurdle😳
I'm really glad I had WeChat Pay🥹

The interior of the car is almost the same as a Japanese Shinkansen.

It was a comfortable journey🛤️
