In Wuxi, there's one place you absolutely shouldn't miss - Yuantouzhu. As one of the main attractions in the Lake Tai Scenic Area, Yuantouzhu is renowned for its unique natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Though its mountains aren't tall, they are elegant and graceful; though its waters aren't deep, they stretch endlessly. The beauty of Yuantouzhu lies in its ever-changing scenery - whether it's the dawn-filled morning, the misty afternoon, or the bright moonlit night, each moment has its own distinct charm. In spring, it becomes an ocean of cherry blossoms, with delicate pink flowers blooming on branches like a dreamlike fairyland. In fall, golden leaves decorate the lake surface, creating breathtaking views.

Yuantouzhu isn't just naturally beautiful; it's also rich in cultural significance. There are many historical sites and private gardens, such as the Best View of Lake Tai and the Fairy Island of Lake Tai, each with its own unique story and scenic beauty. The Best View of Lake Tai, originally the gate tower of Hengyun Villa built in 1931, features classical northern Chinese architecture with glazed tile roofs and upturned eaves, making visitors feel as if they've stepped back in time. The Fairy Island of Lake Tai sits like a bright pearl in the lake - from afar, the sky and water merge into one; up close, the rolling hills present a spectacular view.

There are also some cherry blossoms along Chongshan Yinxiu and Yixiu Bridge. If time permits, it's worth a stroll. If you get tired, you can skip these spots by taking a bus

Luding Yinghui is the highest point of Yuantouzhu. From the tower, you can see panoramic views - the lakeside cityscape on one side and the vast Lake Tai views on the other

Cherry Blossom Valley and Cherry Blossom Viewing Tower, especially when the Yoshino cherry trees are in bloom, transform into a sea of flowers

🌈Tips: Take the boat from Lake Tai pier if there isn't a long queue, otherwise skip it... The Fairy Island is quite ordinary, though boat rides are nice for watching seagulls
