Mid-November 2020. I visited when the autumn leaves had passed their peak.

Risshakuji, also known as Yamadera, is located in Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture, and appears in Okunohosomichi. I wonder if the photos you often see on the internet and in magazines are from the first angle? 🤔

Even though the peak of the autumn leaves has passed, I was able to see a beautiful and magnificent view. Risshakuji is located at the top of a flight of stairs, so you can really see the view below.

It is also within walking distance from the station, so I think the access is not bad, and I would like to go again at this time of year.
