Yangshuo is a paradise for hikers — every trail feels like walking through a Chinese painting. From gentle riverside paths to steep climbs with jaw-dropping views, there’s something for every kind of explorer.
One of my favorites is the TV Tower hike, short but steep, rewarding you with the best panoramic view over town and the Li River. For something quieter, the Moon Hill trail winds through bamboo forests and ends with a natural arch framing the karst peaks — simply stunning at sunset 🌕.
If you prefer long countryside walks, follow the Yulong River trail — stone bridges, water buffalo, and farmers working the fields create a timeless rural scene. 🚶♀️
📍 Getting Around:
All trails are reachable by bike or electric scooter from Yangshuo town center. Start early to catch the morning mist and avoid the midday heat.
💡 Tip: Bring snacks, water, and your camera — Yangshuo’s beauty unfolds one step at a time.
