Preparations

- Dongji Island: The filming location for the movie "The Continent", featuring crystal-clear waters and scattered stone houses. August is the blue tears season, with chances to see the magical bioluminescent plankton at night. Additionally, you can enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.

- Zhujiajian Nansha Scenic Area: With long stretches of fine sand and gentle sunshine, it's a great summer destination. There are abundant water activities such as jet skiing, banana boating, and snorkeling, suitable for family fun.

- Internal transportation: Island ferry tickets can be booked 3 days in advance on the "Zhoushan Haixing Ferry" WeChat official account. To go from Mount Putuo to Dongji Island, you need to transfer at Zhujiajian, so allow enough connection time. On the islands, transportation mainly relies on walking and renting electric bikes.
