It was my first time to 21 amendment and it was great! Great beers all made by them and good food! I had the cod/fish tacos and they were very good. Staff is very nice and you can a taster for the beer to see if it's want you want. It's on Second street close AT&T. Definitely recommend it! Cheersšŗšŗšŗšŗ

As visitors to San Francisco, we had no idea where to stop for a quick bite upon arriving in the city. The gentleman at the front desk of the Courtyard Marriott suggested we take a short walk down to the 21st Amendment. GLAD we did! The atmosphere was very welcoming and fun. Not at all expected in downtown San Francisco. The thin, crispy crusted pizza was excellent as was the Reuben sandwich, complimented by a big pile of onion rings. Moderately priced, friendly staff, good food. You can't go wrong Highly recommended.

Good lively vibe in here, good service on a very busy evening. Only had a couple of beers, which were excellent. Food looked good but didn't try any.

I think Oregon had ruined me for beer. The beer here (what should be the main draw) was mediocre at best. The food is standard brew pub fare, lots of fried and extra cheesy. If you aren't looking for a heavy meal, look elsewhere.

This was a great spot to unwind and enjoy a few drafts. El Sully & Hell or High Watermelon were our favorites, although the wide selection available makes it easy for anyone to find something theyāll like. Service was very good and recommended some great beers. We ordered a burger, and a pizza, both came out quick and hot. We would visit again if we were in the area.

I stopped in at 430 on a Thursday. Had two beers and some chicken wings. Got a beer right away and then got a bar stool in five minutes. Bartender was spot on. Noticed me when I walked in and served me quick when I sat at the bar. I liked everything about this place.

If you are looking for a fresh ans tasty beer, this is your place in San Francisco. Great prices, nice vibe.

First stop for food while visiting SF. Good ratings so I tried it with friends. Nice interior, large, open, even with a crowd, not crowded. Four different beers shared by all; thumbs up for every beer except the Sparkale. I had the Reuben ($13), good but nothing above average. We all split some Calamari and these were nice. For four eating a "light" dinner, the bill was $114 w/o tip. Ouch and for pub food!

Good beers and good crowd. Favorite beer here is the hell or high watermelon wheat. Comes with a watermelon slice and is refreshing in warm weather

Went here with family and friends after a Giants win and we were very pleased. We were seated at an outdoor table and got excellent service. We ordered three different beers and a lemonade and all were refreshing. We also had the calamari, tater tots, and pretzel bites and were very pleased. The table and benches were basic but comfortable. The crowd was happy and loud. A short, quick walk from Oracle Park.

I know, I know - why go to a brewery for salads. This wasnāt our first time here but the food although good has never been outstanding. The beer on the other hand is always good and place has a great vibe. We would totally go back!

21st Amendment is a perfect stop for a fresh craft brew and some great food in San Francisco. I had the Cuban sandwich (delicious) and our party shared the calamari (cooked just right). I also had the El Sully beer and liked it so much that I had to buy a shirt! Sit up front in the window and people watch...great staff too.

We were in just before a Giants game, the place was very busy (Tuesday), but we were seated right away. The menu is only available via a QR code, wifi was provided in the restaurant. We had a couple of appetizers, food was good, order came quickly. We came for the beer and were not disappointed, we sampled a few and all were very good. We highly recommend 21st Amendment, would like to give it another try on a non-game day. 21st Amendment currently requires proof of vaccination for indoor dining - a requirment we were glad to comply with.

Stopped by this well liked brewery for a mid day beverage. It did not disappoint! The hell or high watermelon is great! IPA is also fantastic. Good friendly fast service. Food looked amazing, but only stopped for beers! Good job 21st amendment!

Stopped here for an afternoon drink and lunch with the kids. The beer and food were delicious. The people working were even better!

Husband and I had Hell or High Watermelon beer and loved it, the service was fantastic. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Enjoyed a few beers here on Saturday night. I wad surprised the place was almost empty and last call was 45mins before closing. Beers were good, I had the peaches and cream ale and the doublespeak red ale. Seems like a pretty decent place

A great bar, I go in regularly on my visits to SF. Itās also a few blocks from AT&T Park so great for pre, during (sometimes!) and after ballgames. A great range of their own beers, excellent food and friendly staff. Sit at the bar or wait for a table and soak it up.

Pleasant local restaurant/brewery. Tried a flight and enjoyed almost all of them, but was surprised at the price of $18.00. Ordered the small charcuteria tray ($14.00) and it was very tasty. Was then surprised again when we were charged an additional $1.50 for 4 more small pieces of crostini. Really? Service was Ok, but not stellar.

Wow! Great cheese curds! Fried deliciousness! Fun beer, great atmosphere. Good service. We had a great experience here.

This restaurant/ brewery is located in a nice part of San Francisco where the parking is actually possible. The restaurant is narrow and bright making beer sipping comfortable. I would absolutely recommend the summer brew "hell or high watermelon" complete with a slice of watermelon.

I've had 21st Amendment beer back east, but visiting the actual place is always better in person. Beer is above average and food is good for glorified bar food. Check it out!

I visited 21st Amendment with my husband on our honeymoon, on the recommendation of a friend from San Fran - and we weren't disappointed. There is a great selection of beer, with flights available so you can try a few - our favourite was the Sparkale, which is a rose beer. For food we had a starter of fried cheese balls (which was good but way too big for us!) and mains of burger and pizza, both of which were great. There was an NBA game on which created a great atmosphere. The only negative was that they had no record of our reservation, however we still got a booth straight away - which was good as it was a much better table than some of the others. I would definitely return to 21st Amendment if we're in San Fran again.

We visited the 21st Amendment Brewery taste room in San Leandro but unfortunately was closing but the staff suggested we drive out to San Francisco (about 35 min. drive) to the restaurant. At first we were a little hesitant since none of us had ever been to this location. The drive was worth it! The staff was extremely friendly and not to mention the good food and beer! It was the perfect spot to catch up with good friends. We live in the Coachella Valley, a good 8 hours away but we will definitely be returning.

Walking through the city near AT&T park and everywhere is dead but this place is hopping with good fare and great beer. Try the Pork Pozole soup!

Got into town early for a Giants game and stopped in for beers and a bite. We ordered the charcuterie board and totchos. See the pictures, both were as good as they look! Beer was super good too but I donāt remember what I drank, lol.

We had time before a Giants game, so stopped in for a beer and bar food. The staff was excellent; all happy, and very efficient. We all enjoyed our beers and the calamari was outstanding. We thought we ordered the Totchos (tater tot nachos), but made an error when ordering and received Nico's Tater Tots instead. A good option, but we will definitely order the Totchos next time.

We went here to have dinner before the Giants game. The wait wasn't long and the outside area comfortable. The food was good and the beers great. Will go back!

This brewery was great. Great tasting beers. The food was delicious... Definately my kind of brewery. The place was packed, especially with the ballgame. Friendly people. Great service.

This review is for the brewers loft area. Although the restaurant had seats available we chose to head to the loft as there were many more tv screens available to watch sports. There is no table service in this area and the menu was more limited than what is available on the main restaurant floor. The local brews were very tasty and on tap. The food was very good for pub fare. The vegetarian pizza was flavorful and filling. I chose the chicken wings with the jerk spices. They were well seasoned, perfectly cooked and filling. As seating is limited at times in this area, lots of table sharing was done. We met some very interesting and friendly people but were still able to watch the Giants' baseball game from start to finish without ever feeling rushed. Prices are reasonable for San Francisco and the food and beverages were worth the price.

This is our second years hosting a customer appreciation event during Oracle Open World. They have an upstairs room which they can turn into a private event area with plenty of room for tables laid out with tons of appetizers and a nice bar area for serving beer. Very good appetizers. Great service. Very nice low key place to hang with customers. It's about a 10 minute walk from Moscone South and never an issue to get Uber from this location.

The horrible food and lousy service overpower the decent beer. Host advised us before seating us that we all had to order an entree, those are rules! We should have left right then and the 4 of us could have avoided some of the worst food we've ever had in SF. Hockey buck burger, old tasting fish and chips, rueben, there big claim to fame, had no flavor, turkey club was just nasty. Servers were clueless and careless. Try MoMo's instead, always good.

Large group seated in two separate groups. Everyone was very pleased with the food. Tatchos were the biggest hit and the onion rings were amazing. Expect to wait. This is a popular place and is very small for serving area. Our waitress was awesome and we enjoyed it a lot.

Spent a great Saturday afternoon at the bar, delicious food & some great beers at this small microbrewery. The watermelon beer is fantastic especially on a hot July afternoon.

Interesting beer selection, and I had a great Ruben sandwich. Was there with a bunch of friends, and no one had a bad meal. The service was fast and friendly, Iād go back anytime.

Real nice bar with an open and friendly atmosphere. It is a micro brewery but frankly you don't really notice that when you're in the bar. Tip: walk up te stairs in the back for a sneak view into the brewery. Of course they got their beers on draft ! I had the Weizen like one and it was really good.

Located in trendy SOMA district at 3rd and Brannan-small comfy bar serving this trip 10 taps. We did several samplets so hit 9 of the 10. Top of the list El Sully-Mexican style lager and our favorites-Bood Orange IPA, Amber, Saison Noid wuth nice carmel sweet finish and today they had a refredhing Watermelon Helle servef with wedge of the fruit-light and not ovetpowering fruif flavor. 6 Samplers served in clever muffin tins. We tried the fried cheese curds which paired we the beer and sae sevetal good looking burgers go by. Nice comfortable brew pub in good location and dont miss free parking in the park area called the loop by locals.

This is my second visit, The beers are top notch. some beers are original and unique. The food, well its OK but my rating is for the beer. The only down side is this place is always busy, don't come if there is a Giants game. unless you show up very early

Being a vegetarian, I get to choose from a limited choice. This place had limited choice too but whatever they served was heavenly! We ordered two kinds of veg pizzas and fries. A couple of us tried different kinds of beer and each one of them gave a thumbs up! Loved the service here. The ambience is good too.

This is the Fourth year in a row we have hosted a customer event upstairs at 21st. Great staff and they went out of their way to serve a big group. Very good beer options and appetizers are excellent. 21st is a short walk from the Moscone area and always works out well for our yearly event.

We have loved 21st beers for years. We planned a dinner after Cirque based on website which says dinner us served until 12. Apparently so untrue. Manager Eric said website as wrong and was basically a jerk about the situation. Lost us as a long time customer. Could have easily made this okay but he refused. We will never patronize 21st amendment again. Sorry. Encourage you to find another brewery as well.

Very pleasant bar meal. I recommend the bar so you can try the beers you'd like. Good ribs and wings too if you don't require health food 24/7.

Good beer, pizza, and service. Ventured over on a weekday evening, it was very quiet but enjoyed my meal and the flight of beer.

We ate at the 1st floor, everything went smoothly. We got the 6 flights beer tasting with onion rings as appetizer. Then i got a arugula and spinach salad. I can confirm thumbs up for all 6 beers and for the food too. Don't miss it, of course you must be young (i mean under 40 years).

This place was great, call ahead for reservations. It is always crowded but the service & food were top notch. We were just visiting the city but wanted to see some of the brew pubs. This was a good choice, fun & tasty.

My wife and I have visited here before, 5 years ago. The neighborhood has changed for the better and the outside seating is either out front on the sidewalk, or in the area around the corner from the entrance with several covered tables. The ordering process is outside around the corner. I took pictures of the menu (no convenient QR code) and we settled on the food and drinks. We moved tables to escape a noisy group. Since there isnāt wait staff seating you or assigned to particular tables, this makes table hopping wa-ay easier. The food is regular bar fare and well prepared. However I come here because of their beer selection. It didnāt disappoint. I recommend a visit to taste what they donāt distribute nationally.

We cruised by for lunch and this place was packed, we got a table and beers right away. The stouts I had were really good, the pizza is awesome and really enough for 2 people. I was a little let down on the size of the ruben, but honestly who cares everything else was so good. Stop reading this and go there!

It seemed that anywhere to eat in Soma shuts down before 10. This place is great for good beer, but don't count on any late night eats.

Very good the food was excellent and the upstairs area is really great for a large party you get the whole upstairs with a private waiter

This is the third year in a row we have hosted a customer event upstairs at 21st. Great staff and they went out of their way to serve a big group. Very good beer options and appetizers are excellent.

We can in on a Friday evening at dinner time and were seated immediately. Even when we left an hour or so later, there were still open tables. The bar area was completely packed though, so if you walk in, don't turn around because you see tons of people. Food was pretty good. Some brew pubs don't do food well, others go way over top. This one was right in the middle. Beers were amazing. I am partial to fresh craft beer, so perhaps I am biased, but I did flights until I tried all their beers, and then ordered a few rare cans as well. Pretty awesome place.

I stopped there for dinner with a friend before heading to a corporate concert event at the ATT Park. It was pretty good since i normally go to pub except whem i am in UK. The staff were very effective at accommodating us and walk me through the menu as i am piscaterian. I took the street tacos cod. Great staff and would definitely go back there.

If you like 21st Amendment beer, this is obviously the place for you. The had a decent tap while I was there - I enjoy a few of the Brew Free or Die IPAs. Surprisingly for bar food, the selection was pretty decent. Great place to grab a beer or two while in SFO.

We first came here on the recommendation from our daughter's friend (and been back two more times). After a long day of hiking we wanted something easy and good. My husband and daughter wanted beer. She had their watermelon beer, which 21st Amendment is known for. He had the Blood Orange or Die Free IPA, which he really liked. The first time we came, I got their build a burger with blue cheese. It was tasty and cooked just right. Daughter got the chicken sandwich and husband got the burger as well. We left quite satisfied with our meals. The next two times, I ordered the Reuben sandwich. I love Reubens and try them whenever I am out. This is the best Reuben I have ever had. The corned beef is braised in their IPA; it is tender and delicious. The meet comes thinly sliced, which makes it easy to eat. It was near perfect! Husband and other daughter both got the veggie burger and enjoyed that as well. The atmosphere is causal with a bar and restaurant seating. The pub fare menu is varied with a good selection. And the fried pickles are delicious too!! Prices are good as well. Enjoy.

The restaurant was a bit busy so I expected a wait, but we got a table right away, which was awesome! Our server was attentive, didn't keep us waiting to order drinks or food and both came out very quickly especially considering how busy the restaurant was. We enjoyed the food and beer and will certainly be back!

My wife and I came her and ordered a 6 beer sampler. It was pretty expensive at $21 + tax and tip but it was the best beer we tasted in the SoMa area. Didnāt really like their seasonal brew but other than that they were great!

This is not your ordinary place to be sure and every dish the kitchen sent out looked delicious. Our food was stellar and full of flavor. You rally canny go wrong. The place is a bit on the noisy side so if quiet is what you want then this might not be the spot, but boy is it good.

I thought the house brewed beer was very good, as was my pizza. The service was great and the atmosphere was very cool.

Great neighborhood pub located a short walk north of Oracle Park. Food was pretty good. My wife and I both had a salad and we both liked it. The beers were really good as well. I had a bite of my kidsā hamburger⦠and it was great. Service was also great. Loved the ambiance. Nice place to hang out and socialize.

We went for early lunch sunday morning before the Giants game. Get there early (by 1030) because it gets really crowded. Also, they have no air conditioning and it was really hot. Sitting outside wouldnt have helped. That said, the 21st Amendment is still a great place with excellent beer (I had the Scotch Ale) and good food. Our sever was very efficient and friendly, plus she brought my second beer right away even though the place was by that time very busy. I had the Cubano sandwich and my wife had the Crispy Chicken Bahn Mi. The Cubano was as always a winner. The Banh Mi not so much. We always make the 21st Amendment our pre game stop for the one game a year my wife goes to with me and will continue to do so in the future.

We stopped by after a day game, easy walk. Great Beer! Everybody was raving about the watermelon beer, I don't like sours but apparently it is the best thing ever. We had the meat and cheese platter appetizer, it was very unique and yummy. Is the place to be before or after a game!

I stopped in for lunch with a friend who is a major craft beer fan. We opted to start with a six sample flight before ordering pints, and cans to go. They have a great selection of beers on tap to suit even die-hard beer fans. They offer a creative menu with fun interpretations on staples such as onion rings dipped in beer batter, wings with a large selection of sauces, and crazy good tater tots served with a Sriracha aioli and Totchos, tater tot nachos with cheese, bacon, and more that are to die for. The service was a little slow, but the food and drink were worth it. I love the fact they sell cans to-go and will bottle beers on tap for you on site so that you can bring your favorites home with you.

We went in after the baseball game and enjoyed their Hell or High Watermelon...super yummy!! Hubby had two IPAS and was very happy as well! Great bar tender gave us tip on walking along water to Pier 39 and Ferry building. Would definitely return and/ or buy if I see on shelf.

The ācheese curdsā were more like air curds!! No cheese in the middle and more like deep fried breading with a chipotle sauce. Sadā¦š¢

Their brewery/pub is just two blocks from AT&T park, in an up and coming section of the tenderloin. Grabbed a table near the bar. Ordered our drinks and food from the bar. Bartender was excellent....happy and helpful, thank you! The watermelon brew is tasty...nice wheat beer with a twist. I like that they put a slice of melon on the rim of the glass. We shared a bowl of the gumbo (very nice, I'd order more) and their crunchy chicken sandwich (great fried chicken fingers on coleslaw in a bun). With fries and greens. Theirs lots of indoor seating for regular dining. They have a Sunday brunch, but we didn't try it. Theirs also outdoor seating on a side patio. But again I believe you need to order at the bar. The only disappointment was that the food delivery person didn't bring anything but the food. And seeing our table without napkins, silverware, etc....didn't cause any reaction. We had to chase down our own. Nice interior, rather industrial feel, but very nice. I'll be back!!

Alright folks, I am an airline pilot and get to go to a lot of different places. 21st Admendment is my favorite place to go in the good ole USA. I have never had a bad meal here and been there 20 to 30 times. The BEST jerk chicken dinner in the country, maybe the world! When the customers around you smell it, they immediately ask what it is. I always recommend this place to my passengers and have heard back from some of them thanking me. They also have jerk wings but I always go for the dinner. Staff is great, I always sit at the bar just to people watch! Enjoy!

This was my first time to 21st Amendment. The food was ok, not great. I had the Chicken Diablo sandwich and my husband had the Mexican Burger. Despite the name, my sandwich was bland. There were lots of sautƩed onions which were good and a lot of melted cheese. I added ketchup and Tapatio sauce for flavor. The ordering app is terrible. I didn't know that my sandwich came with fries. There was no mention on the app. My husband said the beef on his burger was tasty. Although he ordered it medium and it was medium rare. An $18 burger is pricey. It doesn't come with fries. In the app you can add fries for $4 more. Since we thought neither of our meals came with fries, we ordered some but we wouldn't have if we had known that mine did. Also there was a notification when I tried to ordrr the beer that I wanted. It said they were low on quantity and I wasn't able to order it. The notification should have said it wasn't available. Running low and out aren't the same thing.

Even right after a game the service was great and food and drinks are always wonderful. If you are visiting the city this is a no brainer to visit.

This is a really cool brewpub not to be missed in SFO. We live in Atlanta and are fans of 21st Amendment beer so were looking forward to visiting the bar. We arrived on a Friday night an hour before their documented closing time and there was a sign that said closed! We must have looked dejected as the bartender waived us in. Apparently they had a large private party and the kitchen was closed but we were able to stay for drinks which is exactly what we wanted. We were able to grab some draft beers that we cant get in Georgia which was fun. I really liked their seasonal Fireside Chat winter ale as well. The bar and restaurant are very cozy and the staff was super nice. Would like to come back for dinner next time we are in town.

We loved the beer, food and location! Great service, really fun place to hang out before or after a Giant's game.

Stopped by for a few cold brews, and we found a good friendly staff. The beers not bad I'd say better then average. Good place to go before a game at AT&T park. If you're into ipa beers this is the place. They have 10 beers on tap and 6 are ipa. Small bar with plenty of seating for dining.

Not first time here, so rating is only most recent visit. We came here before Giants game, and were quickly able to find a table. Ordered Sullys and Hell or High Watermelons. Sullys were disappointing - not much body. The Watermelon was good, refreshing ... For food we had the Wilsons Wicked Wings, onion hoops and Sully's cheese curds. The wings were okay, nothing to write home about but tasty - had the Caribbean jerk sauce. The dill pickle was good, though. Should offer those as a side option. The onion hoops were also average - sauce was best part! Not that they were cooked wrong, or anything, just typical onion rings. The cheese curds were the best part, although they were a little greasy - but it didn't detract from them !! They went fast. Best with the chipotle ranch dip. Just sayin' ... Service was good and prompt, and customers were satisfied. Will come again ....

Nice restaurant with good beers. Had the best cider I've ever had! They also serve food but we visited the bar side only. Service was not that friendly but worth the visit anyway.

Stopped in for a couple beers and had a fun time. Nice bar/restaurant. Food looked good. Beers were good!!!

service is okay, drinks are over priced and very busy. this is exactly the place you would go to before a giants game, busy, overpriced drinks and food is okay. wouldn't be my first place to go before a game, they dont answer the phones for reservations either.

We are from out of town and this was our second time here. Great vibe and great beers. Did the flight and charcuterie board - super happy with both. Open kitchen was a nice touch. Canāt wait to come back!

Visited 21st Amendment prior to attending a Giants game. Enjoyed a couple different beers, including their well-known Hell or High Watermelon. Good overall beer selection. We had a couple of different pizzas that we liked. It is definitely a popular spot before the game, and we were happy to get seats on the upper floor since the place filled up rather quickly. Also...big thanks to Steven, one of the staff, who recognized our NC gear and bought us a beer, since he is from Raleigh.

We found this place after going to the Thirsty Bear (avoid, too trendy for proper beer drinkers). Great atmosphere, top beer and very friendly staff. Highly recommended

I dropped by 21st Amendment to sample their beers, again. I really appreciate the products they brew. I like the current way in which theyāre serving flights: they give you a list, and you select 6 beers of your choice. This works for me, as I donāt like the darker, heavier stouts. I also tried their interpretation of fried calamari. In addition to the calamari, they include slices of jalapeƱo. These jalapeƱo chips are spicy, and offer a tasty addition to your snacking activity.

Loved the Hell or High Watermelon beer. Bartender was great. Close to the Giants ballpark with lots of fans streaming in before the game

Whether it's for flights of flavorful, exotic beers or typical Pub fare, try the 21st Amendment... ( one way to get there...)The stroll along the waterfront ( from the Embarcadero) is also a treat!

My friends and I just stopped by for some flights and drinks but ended up staying for quite a while due to the chill vibes and awesome staff. Everyone here was super friendly and although it was a little crowded, no one was fighting over seating and they got our drinks to us in pretty short order. I would definitely come back here to hang out sometime.

This place offers a large choice of beers and ciders. Also propose food for a nice ratio quality / price. Definitely recommend it if you're in the neighbourhood.

First time visitor and it was a fun evening. They have a nice variety of beer and the food was good. Happened to be there on a night the Giants were playing a home game, so it was a little crazy. Don't know that I would go back, but glad I went.

The beers are good. The food is average. The atmosphere and vibe isn't really there for me. Has a feeling of being crowded rather than busy. I would recommend going to this place for some beers and stay if you enjoy it.

Being close to our office, I've been coming to 21st Amendment for lunch for years and years. The food is consistently good -- burgers, sandwiches, salads, apps. And, of course, the beers are good too. You'll have difficulty finding something on the menu you won't like.

In all likelihood, there are better breweries in SF that I didnāt visit. But 21st Amendment is such an iconic spot for us west coasters, that to not pop on by and wet your whistle would be blasphemy to the beer gods. They are of course right close to the ballpark, and the neighborhood is very Bay Area. Beers? Watermelon, and whatever seasonals are around. But basically, just chill, have some brews, and take in the atmosphere. Iāve only been there twice, but the sense I got was this was a draw to tourists and locals alike. Always a good sign. The locals were probably game-bound, but still. At the very least, visit and support just so they can keep cranking out cool artwork on their labels.

We found their beer out on the East coast about 2 years ago at our local beer distributor so when we decided to come here for a vacation, we knew we had to stop here. My boyfriend and I both love Hell or High Watermelon and one of his favorites is Toaster Pastry. The food was pretty good. We had the Cheese Curds, which were delicious and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Tots. The chicken could have had more chicken and less breading, but it was still good.

Pretty well known craft beer brand has a nice tasting rooms. Seems smaller than I think it should have been, but had no problem getting a table. There was even parking at a meter across the street. They have some nice beers on tap and the usual suspects when it comes to bar food - burgers and pizzas. The group got some ribs for the table that were a big hit, as well as the calamari. I would come back to this place in a heartbeat.

Convenient location to grab a great pint before a game or a train ride. Good service...superior beer.

The 21st Amendment beers are varied and well crafted. The food menu is excellent. The cheese curds are sooo good, and the Reuben sandwich was really awesome.

I had really high hopes for here. Heard great things. But you know what? Skip it and go to Rogue instead. The beers were all much lighter than I would have expected, and the stout was more like a brown ale. They were all okay, but with so many better places in the area, just skip it. Food is too expensive for what you get too.

Went here for lunch and beers. The wife had the seafood gumbo and loved it. I had a burger which was ok. Maybe seemed a bit expensive for what you get...(burger) Beers were good, had a hazy IPA - Juicetified which was really moorish. Worth a visit.

This restaurant came highly recommended from 2 of my friends. It's located pretty close to AT&T park and apparently it's packed when the Giants are in town. A friend and I went to dinner there tonight (tuesday) and the place was relatively quiet. The Giants weren't in town, so I assume the place was much quieter than normal. The service was initially slow but once we placed the original order it ran smoothly. The waitress was very friendly and recommended some items on the menu, then brought us a sample of some of her favourite beers. FOOD: I ordered the burger and my friend ordered the tachtos (tater tot nachos). Both dishes were very good and left us quite full. For drinks, we both ordered the highly recommended Watermelon Wheat Beer which went down smoothly. I would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant, and I would 100% go back.

Went here for a late lunch/early dinner. Good mix of food and great craft beers! I think I had "El Sully" to drink.

Great place for a few beers before a Giants game. Great food also, have the pale ale. Definitely worth stopping here.

They have tvs with sports on. They have ten beers on tap and one cider. They also have beers in cans and growler. My favorite is the watermelon which they didnt have because its seasonal.

The food was amazing, I was surprised to find that the beer on tap was not typical beer you can purchase in the store, the stuff on tap seemed a little more experimental. We split a flight and I can't say there was one beer I would have ordered a pint of, nothing was that special.

The beer here was amazing and worth visiting. I had the El Cubano sandwich which was, unfortunately, pretty boring. I was the only one eating so I could not tell if I had the norm or just a fluke. The beer is so good I would come back just to see if the food was better.

While reading about San Francisco, I have always heard that the city has great microbreweries. This establishment has great microbrew beer, had the mango beer and it was smooth drinking, subtle mango taste. Service was good also. I would recommend all beer lovers and fans visit 21st Amendment, beer prices are very fair.

It's early for the game, you're hungry, what to do? Why, 21st Amendment! Good food and good beer, conveniently located to CalTrain, Muni, BART and AT&T Park. Much quieter upstairs, too.

Visited 21st Amendment before attending Cirque Du Soleil that was down the street. It was a Saturday night around 6pmish, and the place was pretty busy, but were seated quickly in view of the college football games. There was a good selection of beer both on tap and in cans. I had the Nitro Hazer and the Monk's Blood. Both were delicious. For dinner we had the Chinese Chicken Salad and the Verde Burger. Both were good portions and tasted awesome. The Verde Burger had a bit of heat to it. We had Nico's Tater Tots on the side which were good. Service was very good with our waiter, Nic. Place was clean as was the bathrooms. Definitely worth more visits in the future.

Being huge beer fans, when we heard about the 21st Amendment we knew we needed to add it to our San Fran trip. The location is nice and we were able to get a seat after a short wait. The menu is strong and the food was good, but the beers fell a little flat in our opinion. We tried many and none really stuck out. We were hoping for more but maybe we built it up too much based on our love of their canned beer (fireside).

Beers are amazing. Hell or high watermelon comes with an actual watermelon slice. It's busy in there especially if you go before or after a Giants game. So be aware of the time. You can sit inside or outside. It's cold in August so wear layers.

While visiting the city by he Bay on Sunday morning we certainly did expect to find this treasure in the near downtown area. Great selection of draft beers that are priced right on Sunday mornings, just after 10:00. The their bar foods go great with beer. Margarita pizza, wings and calamari make for an interesting mid/late morning snack. Try the Monkās Blood a great dark brew.

The bar food here is great, we tried the Totchos, Onion rings and Back in Black BBQ wings. All of these were terrific especially the tater tots (Totchos). The rings are some of the best I've eaten they are crunchy on the outside, hot and moist on the inside they were fried just right not too oily. The Totchos are highly addictive and wings were tasty. We tried a flight of the beers and the Brew Free or Die IPA was the best. The vibe here was great and the dƩcor with wood and high ceilings was nice. Would definitely go here again to sample a larger dinner and more beer.

Went here with some work colleagues for drinks and food after work. Enjoyed the good selection of beers and stayed for dinner. Good 'feel' about the place and would visit again.

Hell or High Watermelon is the headliner as far as the beers go, but there are quite a few more tap offerings in many different styles. The food is also delicious. I would call it updated bar food. Located in the financial district and not far from the baseball stadium, it is convenient to visit. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available.

A perfect afternoon on the patio with great beer and sunshine! Friendly waitstaff and bartenders made the afternoon a fun experience. It's worth the drive or Uber. Try the watermelon beer and the hand made onion rings.

This place has a friendly, relaxing atmosphere with great seating outside and inside. As a predominately cider-drinking person, I was very excited to see they had a cider on tap and it was delicious. The cheese curds are a must try, so good!

Ok so we went in here just before a Giants game so it was obviously busy. Great little outdoor area but it would have been handy to have a bit more seating out there. Great beers, I really enjoyed the watermelon beer that comes with a massive slab of melon on the side.

We enjoyed our late night visit to this brewery and enjoyed several of their varieties of beer. They do some interesting brews and my wife and I both got flights so we could try most all of their options. Smaller venue than I expected, but had friendly and helpful bartenders. We didn't eat so I can't comment on the food. Very close to the Giants ballpark so would be a great place to hit up before a game. We would definitely visit again if we're back in San Fran.

This is a wonderful craft brewery located near AT&T Ball Park. It is often very busy, and fun! Large appetizer menu, expected, and delivered. Simply very tasty craft beers.

21st Amendment was the perfect spot to grab a couple beers and eat some comfort food. Make sure to try the Totchos (Tater tot nachos with cheese, bacon, and more). I ate so much that I didn't leave room for dinner. Got a flight of beers and my favorite was the El Camino (UN) Real. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was enjoyable and the prices were reasonable.

Take a short 10 minute walk from AT&T park before a ball game and enjoy the local brews! Enjoyed the charcuterie board with our brews upstairs. The board included local meats, cheeses and pickles. We'll be back!

If I could give a zero, I would. Seriously, we said we were ordering snacks and beers before the game, and since we weren't ordering full entrees we were ushered up to the upstairs with no service for over a half hour. First time in my life I've been told my money isn't good enough. Did I mention that half the dining room was empty at the time of our arrival. Did I mention that we had an elderly woman with us getting ready for knee replacements that doesn't do well with stairs. Did Amendment 21 ask, uh...no. I drink this beer all the time. Won't anymore.

Don't walk or drive to fast or you will miss this little gem! From the road the sign is hard see due to some tall trees making the sign hard to see. When walking, it comes up on you quite quick. But don't give up you won't be disappointed! A friendly and knowledgeable staff will seat you up stairs or down, offer you a sizeable choice of Local Craft Beer and nicely prepared food. I personally liked drinking my fresh brew upstairs. As a side note.... being a guy, and lover of the long running country fairs in Maine, I very much liked seeing and using the galvanized trough in the mens room. "Just sayin" :) ;)

This is a perfect place to visit before taking in a Giants game and at any other time too ! It is a lively brewery bar with good service and Luis really looked after us. To eat we enjoyed the a Chicken burger with cheddar and onion hoops, 16.50 and the Wagyu Burger with jack cheese and fries at 14.50 To drink we enjoyed the Peters Pale, Homefront IPA and a Chocolate Pudding Stout. A must visit in the city !

Hostess was great, cutting a 40+ min wait down to just over 10. (Especially on a game night) The Mic Drop beer is excellent. Server was AWESOME. Sister loves her LEOPARD shoes. For the burger lovers, this place is a must. I ordered a medium burger & it was throughout every bite! Well done to the chef. Definitely recommend.

This is definitely a cool localās spot. We didnāt try the food because the place was just too packed before the Giantās game. Super friendly staff and patrons were kind to us in our Phillies gear. I would definitely recommend the Watermelon beer for a refreshing summer brew. My husband enjoyed the blood orange IPA. Really cool spot but expect big crowds if thereās a game.

Lots of people headed to the Giants game. We loved the excited youngish crowd and stood on the patio in the beautiful weather. Definitely a crowded bar, but just what we wanted. The beer selection was great and I tried the "Hell or High Watermelon" with good success.

Came here for a quick lunch....it's a small place but nice atmosphere...had the burger and cuban sandwich, both were just ok nothing special. Good beers on tap. Fast service. Prices pretty decent for the area. If we are ever back in area I would probably go back.

Good selection of food, a little different than standard pub grub in a good way. Only serves beer & wine no spirits. Torches were tasty and a fun twist on tater tots and nachos.

Sort of institution. Experience ballgame and soma crowd combined in a beer and other alcoholic beverage atmosphere

The service was ok, the appetizers were not memorable, atmosphere was nice for a happy hour... not much to it.

Relaxed atmosphere, really good locally brewed beer. Friendly staff and good food. What more can you expect.

Good taplist enjoyed a sampler and full beers. The sawlty dog and cherry picker were great. We also had some appetizers, which were also good the nacho tots and quesadillas.

What a place a craft beer house! We sat and had a couple of craft beers around 5.30 pm on a Wednesday the place was packed - we did get a table and the service was fantastic and quick the staff really friendly and helpful. We decided to stay for a meal and started with a cheese platter - YUM - Pepperoni Pizza - YUM and Ruben Sandwich - YUM! We had a great time..would thoroughly recommend a visit:)

We joined friends for food before the Giants game last weekend. Our complete party was on its way and the host took our name and said he would let us know when they had a table. The table became available and our friends weren't yet here and he held the table! We loved the Jerk Chicken, Street Tacos with Cod and both were fantastic! Fried pickles were disappointing. Ginger beer and root beer, made there. Great! Watermelon and Mic Drop IPA beer got rave reviews.

This is our second time here and we have enjoyed both visits. I had the pizza and it was great, our nephews had the mac and cheese and the chicken Bahn Mi sandwich, and loved them both. The service was good and the portion size was nice. It is a great location we were able to find parking easy. Great to stop on the way to or from the airport, or Giants game.

Great service. Great food. Even better beer. The astehetics are perfect too. A must see if visiting San Francisco breweries

A San Francisco staple this is a spot I love to visit as the service, beer, and food are always on point. As an avid IPA fan they never disappoint. Sit at the bar and enjoy a sampler or go deep on pints, you'll never leave unhappy.

The bar has great reviews, but frankly we were less than impressed. The setup inside is nice, it got friendlly but kind of slow staff; but the beer which should be the main selling point, is definitely far from expectations: the selection on tap, which you can taste with a quite expensive sampler, is mostly flavored brews, not bad, but not good either; their stapples like lager or IPA are available only in cans ! Not a place for real beer enthusiasts.

Great beer. We had a flight and a couple of beers. The Blood Orange IPA had an IPA - Mimosa hybrid taste to it.

Had a couple of their delicious IPAs on friday night. Very tasty, reasonably priced. I am a brewer myself, and recognice quality. Fully recommended!

Great beer and atmosphere! I had a chocolate banana beer and it was really good. I was visiting from the East coast, so I was excited to visit 21st Amendment in person!

Found out way here for drinks after dinner in mission, since we had tried some of their beers and liked them. We didn't see Hell or High Watermelon on the menu, but apparently they always have a reserve of it if you ask, regardless of whether it's on the menu. I can't speak to how the food was here, but it had a nice ambience, especially since many people were there to watch the Cubs/Dodgers playoff game.

I have been wanting to visit this brewery since they were voted best brewery many years back. The brewery/restaurant is really cool the windows open so you can enjoy the San Fran weather. Its right down from the Giants stadium so there is a huge baseball crowd. The bartenders were surly and awesome and the Hell or High Watermelon is 10x better on tap with a slice of watermelon in it than it is in Ohio in a can.

My wife and I are lucky to live in the neighborhood. This place is great to go taste some good food and especially home crafted beers. The only downside is that when Giants play it gets overcrowded and service goes down a bit. We still strongly suggest to visit and try it out !

Located close to Oracle Park this place can be quite busy. Havenāt been here in years. A visit this September reminded me why this was always a regular stop when in the city. The beers are still excellent with good variety. The menu is of good pub quality at a reasonable price. Highly recommend for calamari appetizer. Finally, hats off to the exceptional staff who work through the chaos when busy, yet maintaining high quality service and being welcoming.

We stopped here before a Giants game and not surprisingly it was packed, with an hour wait. They do offer open seating upstairs, so we headed up and were able to grab a table within about 10 minutes. I had the Hell or Highwatermelon brew and it was delicious (and I am not a huge beer drinker). I had the Reuben sandwich with kettle chips which was great. My husband had the Build Your Own Burger and the kids had cheese pizza - all were good. Shared an appetizer of cheese curds and those were gone within a few minutes - yum! Great food and atmosphere and a quick walk to AT & T park. Two thumbs up!

Went there with a group of friends and had a great time. The bartenders were awesome. Even though it sounds odd, the "hell or high watermelon" beer was really good for those that aren't a big fan of hops. Highly recommended!

Go for the beer and stay for the food. The beer selection is strong with well crafted beer worth the trip. The food is beyond what you might expect from a place well known for its beer. The fish and chips was excellent and others in the party loved their food.

Since I was staying nearby and love craft beers, I had to stop in and try 21st Amendment for dinner. Enjoyed their beer -- they offer flights consisting of 4 small 5oz glasses, and that was great. I ordered the 3-taco platter for dinner, and that was a mistake. Worst tacos I've ever had, I left one on the plate. Service was sketchy -- I had to chase someone down, and I saw other diners doing the same thing multiple times, even though the place was mostly empty. So go there and enjoy the beer flights, but don't expect a great meal.

Had a great time sitting at the bar - excellent bartender. Fantastic IPAs and the food was delicious. We've been wanting to come here for a long time and we were not disappointed. Also, walked to Cellarmaker and that was different but fun too (they do not have food so eat at 21st Amendment).

Met up here with some old friends. Tried a few brews and our friends shared their tots. They were delicious and the beers were fantastic. Would love to try more!

A group of 4 of us went here before a Saturday afternoon Giants game and it is a great place for a pregame beer. We were able to hang out outside at the beer garden as long as you have the plastic cups (and interestingly enough pass your drinks out through the windows and not go outside the main door). The summer saison was a tasty easy drinking beer and the hell or high watermelon is a cool wheat beer with a fruit twist. I love their graphics and have been drinking their beer in DC for years so it was cool going to the brewery and is a great place to hang out before a game. We didn't get food but looked like they had some good options there and it was indoor and outdoor seating - just could have used another bartender for Gameday but it was awesome that they opened early before a baseball game.

Was recommended this place by a young man we met in Medford. We went there solely for the beer and I can tell you that we were not disappointed! Their IPA's were awesome.......in fact, all the beers we tried were awesome!

First visited before the Giants game a couple of nights ago. Great atmosphere, great food, and AWESOME beer! Need to get those Blah Blah Blah cans dispersed to the East Coast! Preferably Charlotte, NC! š

Had a quick visit here, great choice of beers and the food was excellent. Had chicken and fries which was very tasty so I would recommend any visitor has a visit to 21st Amendment

Came here to watch the ballgame. Crowded but was able to get a seat upstairs. It's 95 degrees outside and hot inside the bar. Love the Come Hell or High Watermelon beer.

Friday lunch. Very popular time at 1pm. Had to wait as couldn't book. Better time would have been after 1.30 as started to empty. Food suited my teenage boys well . Loved the fit out but way too noisey when it was full for a big group of 7 to be able to speak. Fun and great spot for a smaller group.

We went for the flight. Fun flight. We didn't have food. We had a little difficulty getting service but the staff was very friendly. Worth the visit.

On one of the hottest days in SF history, 21st was understaffed, overfilled with customers, and had no working A/C. We could not find a table, but even if we did, we probably would leave due to the heat and lack of servers. We'll hit them again on another day, preferably cooler and not with a Giants game going on down the street.

We stopped in here after the Giants game and enjoyed our beers. It will get very busy after a game so be prepared to wait if that's your plan.

We stopped in at 21st Amendment Brewery on evening while visiting San Francisco. The place was PACKED. Once we were seated, the wait staff was friendly and attentive. The beers from 21st Amendment are great as usual. We had been fans prior to coming to drink and eat here. The food served here is also very good. The burgers and calamari were excellent. Basically the menu is high end pub fare if we were to generalize. There nothing like a big slice of watermelon garnishing a tall glass of Hell or High Watermelon to start off a meal. They did a great job with this brew pub.

They have some of the best beer selections in the city, in a large and airy location. Try the watermelon beer, as well as their namesake beer.

Quick and friendly service despite pre-Giants game! Good beers, my favorite was MCA stout, watermelon was tasty as well, and brew free or die was delicious. Good food as well. I had the chicken tender sandwich and fries. Girlfriend has fish tacos and son has cheese pizza.

We went there just for a couple of beers and we ended up having lunch after we tried 4 cool appetizers. They have like 10 different to share food, but we could only handle four because the portions are not small (not big as well, just the portion for 2-3 people have quite a few bites. Recommend the orange IPA.

We went to have something to drink and eat after a Giants game. Although there was a line, waiting time was short. People were friendly and funny. Good beer and good food and plenty of time to enjoy your beer. See you again next time.

Went here to celebrate Finishing the Spartan Sprint at AT&T Park, as we did last year. Great brews, 2 of us had the Red, one the Brew Free IPA-a few rounds, purchased a filled growler to take home! The Food here always great, in past Burgers, chili etc this time they had breakfast! Our group had corned beef hashm, hevous rancheros, eggs and potatoes. Not one complaint all good great. Do not miss this place!

Me and my wife (30 and 25) stopped here for food on the good reviews and were not disappointed! The ambience was amazing, and this was for a Weds night! We ordered a make your own burger and Quesadilla for starters. The Quesadillas came out the same time as the mains but when we told the staff we ordered them as a starter, they apologies perfusely and gave me my blood orange beer on the house! Lovely gesture! Highly recommended! 9/10

Excellent beer and street tacos! Service was great. This is a good first impression of the San Francisco restaurant offerings. I will be back.

It has been a LONG time since I've been here, maybe a year and a half, and it was a most pleasant reunion! Several of us came for lunch and left happy and pigged out, and we remembered why we love coming here! The place is still the same, with bar seating, tables, booths and an upper dining area, all of which surge for lunch about 12noon and ebb about 1:30pm, so plan accordingly. We got here about 11:40, shortly after the 11:30 opening and the bar area was already busy, and tables were starting to fill. We were seated by the host and presented menus by our server, Aili, and we set about the most important decision for the meal - which beer to try! We settled on a couple of "The Pink and The Green," a nice lighter IPA with watermelon, cucumber and Hibiscus, a neat trio of tastes that is refreshing, and at 7% alcohol, rather moderate. I tried the "Invasion of the Barley Snatchers Barrel Aged Barley Wine." A mouthful indeed, and at 11.5% alcohol, and 65 IBUs it is quite a mouthful of taste as well! Very dark, and bitter like I like it, and a perfect small glass - good considering the kick it can have for you. Moving on to food, we ordered a couple of the Sully's cheese curds, a couple of the Wilson's Wicked Wings, an order of the Totchos and a Brewmaster's Fish and Chips. The food came rather quickly and was just as we remembered. The cheese curds are very good here (among the best I have found anywhere) with just a little grease left on the plate, not too much, but enough to notice - still, very good taste, especially with the chipotle ranch dip (marinara not my favorite with the cheese curds). The wings were drenched in sauces and literally finger licking good - you'll need BOTH moist towelettes that are provided! The Totchos were a hit as well, always a favorite. With the bacon on the side, they are tater tots topped with red onion, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, pico de gallo salsa, fresh cilantro and cilantro sour cream. Oh so good. And the fish and chips were delicious, too, with the fish lightly battered and not too greasy! Very nice with tartar sauce or vinegar. The fries were hot and crispy as well. The meal was delightful, and the service was excellent, with water and iced teas kept topped off, and dishes cleared quickly (thanks Aili!). If you're in the area and craving a good beer or just good bar food, this is a great place to kill that craving - give them a try!
Yum!
Sat at the bar. Ordered the chili and a side salad with the 'Latte'. The chili was one of the best I have ever had. The rest of the food and the service was really good. Very awesome beers. The latte was very smooth and delicious. Will return next time I'm in San Francisco
