The staff at the DoubleTree recommend the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. After a long day driving we were looking for something close, but unique. We were able to be seated on a Friday evening without any wait. The service was prompt and the food was very good. I had the daily special, salmon, and it was fresh and moist. The side dishes were equally enjoyable. It's not inexpensive, but quality is worth paying for.

Had an excellent cup of NE Chowder and great plate of Crab Cakes ( Just the way you want them full of perfect crab) over some very fresh salad mixture. All was perfect at the Bar with Jennifer assisting. Great service with a smile. Others at the bar offered a free cocktail to salute my wife who had passed away a few weeks ago, Excellent spot for a view and fresh seafood.

We did not have a reservation but were told that we would be seated in 20 - 25 minutes. 45 minutes later we were still waiting. When we got seated it took a long time to get drinks, and almost 2 hours to get our food. A manager stopped by to apologize for the service and offered another round of free drinks but we had enough at that point, we just wanted our food. He didn't offer to comp any of the drinks we already had. When it finally arrived the food was very good. We were told that there was a boat show and that was the reason for the slow service, but we wondered if they had staffing issues because the crowds had thinned out halfway through our visit and that didn't seem to make a difference. We would dine here again if the restaurant wasn't busy but would otherwise avoid.

The atmosphere is very comfortable and classic, the view is great and seafood menu makes it hard to choose. The bar had the same menu available even though the "kitchen" was closed.

We stopped by 22nd Street Landing Seafood Grill & Bar the evening prior to boarding a cruise ship. Not knowing much about the area the restaurant was referred to us by our hotel concierge. We could not have been more pleased with the food or the service. The sea bass was to die for as was the clam chowder. The service was top notch and we were welcomed as soon as we walked in to the establishment. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a decent place to eat in San Pedro or Long Beach. We will certainly be back!

You can’t beat the location and the view. But the food and service are just OK. I enjoyed the lobster bisque, even though it was served barely warm. But the balance of the food was not nearly worth the prices charged. Salads were generally overdressed, and overall, the balance of the food was tasteless. Service was too casual and when our party was asked how everything was, we were finished, and it was too late to bother with sending anything back.

A wonderful restaurant with nice harbor views and the fish was wonderful! Waitstaff were courteous and attentive making it a great experience. The restaurant is conveniently located to the Doubletree Hotel. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is very well prepared and steam clams are fantastic. We have eaten here about 5 times. Fish is always fresh and even have some decent wines. Ask to sit by the windows.

It comes down to 22nd Street Landing you can't go wrong with ordering a nice hot meal on a cold night by the ocean the Cool Breeze definitely satisfies your taste for a beachfront restaurant not only that but the food is amazing get some clam chowder I'd enjoy your night be sure to show up with family or a date

We had been looking for a nice restaurant in which to enjoy a good meal and we found it here! Recommend highly!

We have eaten here a number of times and our last visit reinforced our opinion that the quality and reliability of the food is erratic. While we have been a good customer over the years it is unlikely we will eat there again. The service is good as is the presentation but we have found other restaurants in San Pedro that are more reliable.

We've been coming to 22nd Street Landing for the past 20 years, mostly for dinners and Sunday brunches. Great food coupled with great views of the San Pedro marina.

This place is a real gem. The food here is fantastic. The staff are wonderfully friendly. The atmosphere is very friendly and casual. And the views are wonderful. The food is always fresh and tasty! I would recommend the fried squid and the sea bass. And they have awesome happy hour specials between 3 and 5 pm. If you are anywhere near San Pedro and Ports o' Call, be sure to visit this restaurant!

Hi all!! So my husband and I had our son christened at Wayfarer's Chapel in Palos Verdes, CA followed by reception/brunch here at 22nd Street Landing. We had 30 guests, including 5 kids & 2 babies. We opted for their brunch menu which is three courses for $19. It was perfect. If our guests wanted alcohol the bar was right next to where they seated all of us. From booking the reservation to the service during the brunch it was all amazing. The food was delicious. The location is beautiful it sits on the marina with beautiful views. If you don't want brunch they also have amazing lunch and dinner entrees as well. Enjoy XO

We enjoyed a celebratory dinner with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed the fish dishes we ate as well as the setting even though it was a rainy day. Our server was really attentive and friendly and allowed us to have the table all night which was really nice.

We made a reservation for dinner for 3 to 6 PM to celebrate a family birthday. We arrived on time our table wasn’t ready. Hostess was gnarly. We were seated by the window when our guest arrived. Chad was an amazing server. We joked about both of us being left-handed. Food was outstanding portion size was terrific. We enjoyed our dessert. Definitely would go back again.

Outstanding! John, our waiter, was attentive, knowledgeable and, best of all didn't rush us! The lobster bisque and clam chowder were creamy and delicious. Grilled Pacific sea bass...wow! Grilled scallops with rice and spinach were in a sauce that was amazing. We had walked 5 miles before deciding to stop there for lunch...so so good!

We recently attended the GP of Long Beach Indy Car race. The night prior we had dinner here, the potato crushed salmon was outstanding, service was 8 of 10 on a busy Saturday night. Then after the race the next day we returned for martinis and some shellfish. Our server that afternoon was named Jen, she was fun and gave great service. I would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

I want to start by saying I have gone here many times. The service is always professional. I have found the food at times hit or miss. I wonder if it depends upon which chef or if it is the food supply. There were 3 of us going for dinner. Food on this night was very good. I chose a crab and shrimp Louie salad. The server brought a bread stick (the thick soft kind). I asked the server for one more bread stick-her reply surprised me “well how many more bread sticks do you want?” I explained one would do (and a thank you), the server explained that “they are cracking down on how many are served - because there is a note posted in the back about how many breadsticks are wasted”. Ok 22nd Street, I spent $26 for lettuce a few slices of cucumber, a few tomatoes slices , 3 shrimp, a 1/4 cup of crab. I think my request for 1 additional breadstick is not outrageous or if it is put a price on the menu for one. For 3 of us the cost was $140.

My team and I had lunch here. It was very good but the service was just ok. I had fish and chips and others had tilapia and salmon. The food was excellent !! Like I said though, service was slow and caused us to get back to the office late.

I ordered the scallop scampi no pasta. It came with extra veggies. OMG. The scallops melt in your mouth and the sauce goes fab on the veggies!

I visited the 22nd of the night before our cruise with my long-time friend. Everyone had a fish dish, for me shrimp and scallops in fettuccine sauce. It was so good that my wife would order it in 2 months. Prior to our next Princess Cruise. Margaritas were excellent, and overall, the prices were fair.

Beautiful setting with a view of the marina. Service was very good. Food was good but not special. Many good seafood options.

A group of us (15) from a business meeting wanted to have a nice dinner and the 22nd St Landing was recommended. They handled us very well. We had some special requests for the bill, and they were able to accommodate without a bit of problem. All individual orders were handled without any problems! The staff and servers were great, very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious! The portions were generous. I'd highly recommend it!!!

Seriously, the food was AMAZING...and, the view was awesome! This is the kind of place where you can cast the menu aside and just let your wait staff pick for you and your group...then everybody shares!Beyond that, it's also the kind of place that nobody wants to leave, (which is good, because we were stuffed!) We had an amazing day of diving, and this place was the perfect way to cap it all off. Jimmy Buffett's "One Particular Harbor", could've been written here!

We saw this restaurant upon entering our hotel. I kept it in mind and thought maybe we could find some time to eat there. On Saturday night, after a long hot day walking around disneyland, we decided to eat there. The entrance was interesting. A big flight of stairs. Once we arrived at the top we could hear the busy restaurant. We gave our name and was told it would be a 40-45 minute wait. While we had nowhere to be, we were hungry. They advised we could sit in the bar and order from the menu. We quickly found a seat. The bar was cute and spacious we sat and was immediately provided a menu and beers. We quickly saw all of the seafood was fresh and the bartender provided us a list of his favorite dishes. We ordered the clams as a starter. My wife also had a cup of clam chowder, it was probably the best clam chowder either of us had had. The clams were delicious. In a savory broth and cleaned perfectly. I ordered grilled shrimp which was delicious. You could taste the wood and the shrimp was large and not overlooked. My wife had the best dish. She had hash brown encrusted salmon. It was unbelievable. The salmon was juicy and cooked perfectly. Best salmon ever! The prices are on the high side, but it is fresh seafood. It was worth the price and the service at the bar was perfect. If we ever go back to San Pedro, we will definitely stop in for some dinner.

My parents really like this place and invited my wife and me for dinner last weekend. My fettuccine with shrimps wasn't very good. Sauce was watery and the shrimp didn't taste very fresh. My wife's crab cakes were ok. Probably won't be back unless my parents insist on their next visit.

A beautiful location and an unfortunately insufficient dinner: distracted service, perhaps good for sailors, less so for tourists. Recommended starter with slightly burnt fried calamari and medium quality cooked oysters. Grill Halibut so and so and frozen snow crab not good. White wines (1 bottle of Chardonnay and 2 glasses of Sauvignon and Riesling) of poor quality. Bill $250 without tip for less than courteous and attentive service.

Have been there couple of time over the last month (pre-Covid too). Overall qaulity of seafood is good, but varies. Limited selection in comparioson with asian seafood resataurants.

Upscale clientele in an older venue. Guessing it was built in the 30's. Hardwoods and glass everywhere! Fish n Chips was average quality and preparedness. Fillet was thin - it curled while cooking. Price was above average for quality (Although I am not familiar with prices of establishments in the LA area). The menu did NOT specify what type of white fish they were offering. Great views of the harbor. One could probably see most of the private yachts, charter fishing boats, and a plethora of sailboats from any table in the house. Beautiful! Lots of tables with umbrellas on a deck/balcony offered outside seating and fresh air. I will return. The Wait Staff Ladies were charming and the Views of the boats in the Harbor make it enjoyable.

Nice enough boat. This is an overnight trip. Fishing was tough that day. But charge me $30 for fish cleaning (plus $10 tip, btw, I never stiff the crew). This isn’t San Diego tuna fishing. This was for 1 yellowtail, 2 whitefish, and 2-3 sand dabs. But loose half of my fish? Waited to the end and only the Yellowtail and 1 whitefish showed up. Well that’s why the two star review. It would have been a 4-5 star review except for the lost fish. Would have been 1 star if they lost all of it. Kid offers me $10 back but like I said I don’t stiff the crew. By the way, this was a complaint on this boat that I read online before. I was ready to go back but uhh, not so sure now. Loose my fish? On a really slow day not a lot of fish came on board, how do you misplace fish?

Wonderful views of the Harbor and very entertaining watching the charter boats returning and departing. Very good menu selections and decent portions. My husband had steak and I had the stuffed salmon. Both were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The crab stuffing for the salmon was very rich and tasty. Our waitress, Hayley was very attentive and our service was perfect. A very perfect evening out.

A very complete menu with seafood, beef and pasta choices among other. The halibut was far better than average as was my Caesar salad. Drinks are generous. Service is fast and attentive. Prices are reasonable.

Based on reviews here, we chose 22nd Street Landing for a pre-cruise dinner, and were very pleased. Our hotel shuttle dropped us at the door, and we were promptly seated at a table overlooking the water. It was dark, so there wasn't much to see, unfortunately. The restaurant was practically empty, on a Tuesday night. I started with a split of champagne (hey, I'm going on a cruise to Hawaii!). Our shuttle driver recommended the lobster bisque and the seafood stuffed sole, which I had already picked out as my top choices, again based on reviews. It was nice to have a 'local' validate that what looked appealing to me were good choices. The lobster bisque was excellent - hot in temperature, with a good amount of seafood. The sole was also very good, with plenty of seafood in the stuffing. I was able to finish the sole, but couldn't come close to finishing the vegetables with which it came. Service was efficient and polite, but not overly friendly. I'd certainly return if in the area.

Stopped by 22nd Street Landing for an early dinner recently. Ordered the lobster and shrimp stuffed salmon, so good. Salmon was perfectly cooked. The star of this meal however was the sautéed spinach. Prepared with garlic and scallions this side deserves equal billing with the featured salmon. A very pleasant surprise to an already delicious meal.

A group of 8 of us came for dinner Friday night. We made a reservation so the wait was minimal. The menu offered something for everyone and each entree lived up to our expectation. The venue is pretty and has great marina views. My only disappointing moment came at the end of the night when we received our bills. We requested 4 bills broken out by couple. Per the fine print on the menu, because we were a large group the gratuity was added in. The menu states that 18% will be automatically added; when we each received our bill, the tip was actually 20% and calculated on the total which included tax. As someone who worked in a restaurant and knows how difficult it is, I always tip a minimum of 20% but pre-tax. When service is outstanding - and it sometimes is - I tip more. I would have tipped 20% last night, however I was turned off that it was (1) more than what was stated would be charged and (2) it was calculated on the after tax amount. This is my decision and should not be assumed by the waitstaff. Overall, it was great experience and I will return when I'm back in the area. I'll just be more mindful once the bill comes.

Food was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. My husband and I had the lobster bisque and loved it. He had the beer battered shrimp and I had scallops scampi. Both were amazing! Their bread sticks were"to die for".

We stayed at the Doubletree near the Cruise Port. On our walk we found 22nd St Landing and decided to come here for dinner. It’s bigger and nicer inside than I thought and the food was very good. Of course we ordered the local fishes and weren’t disappointed. Angie our waitress was great. It’s a great restaurant to visit before a cruise.

If you are going to a seafood restaurant, stick to the seafood. Our daughter's fiancé is a steak and potatoes guy. He was unhappy, except for the clam chowder. The rest of us enjoyed the ambiance, service and food. Worth the money. We would go back sans future son-in-law. Has a romantic feel.

Rough edges, especially with the service makes one wonder how this got a Zagat rating. Mussels and clams in a weak, water broth. Several of the mussels having a strong, off flavor. Decent view over the harbor. OK crab cakes. Excellent bouillabaisse loaded with different seafood chunks. Finished off with a soggy apple betty. Reaction: mixed.

Quite a walk from our hotel, but the menu was extensive and the choices were varied. Soups, salads, sandwiches and sea food entrees.

My wife and I traveled all day. Checked in at the nearby hotel then went to dinner at the 22nd street. Everything was great and enjoyed it very much.

Visiting CA and our friends brought us here for dinner, atmosphere & severer were great, our food was delicious,I had crab cake & clam chowder, highly recommend chowder I recommend you try this restaurant if ok the area

Great bar for dining and also another off the main dining room as a seafood bar with service. You can eat in the casual bar formal dining room or outside on the patio. Hamburgers are fantastic with Ranch fries and slaw, also the Louie salads are perfect with fresh baked bread and silky garlic butter. All 4 of us had a great time - glasses of good Chardonnay at good prices. Great service so fun place to go. Get there early as it fills up quickly.

We enjoyed a birthday celebration at 22nd Street and the views at sunset were beautiful. The service was attentive and not too overbearing and the food very good. Our friends, who had never been here before, enjoyed the food enough to say that they would definitely be back. Smiles all around.

Recently enjoyed an early dinner at the 22nd St. Landing Grill and Bar. I chose the grilled salmon and was rewarded with a perfectly tender succulent piece of fish. The salmon was presented with beautifull grill marks slightly crisp edges served on a bed of delicious melt in your mouth risotto. My meal began with a cup of comforting New England clam chowder. Beverage of choice was a Grey Goose vodka martini served cold and crisp. The view of the adjacent marina was the cherry on top of this perfect evening. The restaurant is busy and bright. You can see the kitchen staff hard at work. Servers are attentive and you're made to feel welcome by the host staff. Come by you'll enjoy it.

Best grilled salmon in Southern California. Always caramelized over a very hot wood fired grill, still moist and tender inside. Reasonable prices on wines, and Fetzer is the house Chardonnay, a good choice. Relax and watch the sailboats race on the weekends, and the constant bustle of the sport fishermen boats loading and unloading their passengers. Sometimes a wayward sea lion passes through, looking for a few fish-cleaning scraps. Oh, watch out-- closed Mondays.

We didn't know quite what to expect when we first entered the restaurant but were pleasantly surprised once we were able to take everything in. The decor is nautical with lots of old pictures from the area. We ate lunch there twice...(we liked it so well) and ordered different things each time. I had the Calamari Caesar Salad and the fish tacos...loved both entrees! My husband tried the Stuffed Filet of Sole and the Blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich...he enjoyed both of his entrees as well. I also liked that they had linen napkins! Service was great and the views of the Marina were most wonderful. It was a nice escape for lunch!

After many years away, I had the chance to eat dinner at this restaurant. Unfortunately, and as was explained to me by my hosts, there was clearly a loss of professionalism in the wait staff, cooks, etc. The timing of the arrival of the meals with salads coming quickly but dinners coming too fast afterward. The constant asking of "are you finished with your salad?" and the lack of food quality which, for a renown seafood restaurant, was disappointing. The swordfish was tepid, served without any finesse, the salmon was the same. It wasn't a "bad" experience however I would hesitate to return. Lastly, in a restaurant like this, I would expect to be addressed with "Good Evening" rather than "hey guys" (we were all over 50 adults). I hope that the restaurant comes back to it's former higher-quality experience both in the service and the food.

22nd Street Landing remains a family favorite for seafood. While not the cheapest option in the area, it is by far one of the tastiest! The halibut and cajun shrimp are excellent. I had the Caesar Salad for my "starter" and it didn't disappoint. ASK for the cheese bread!

We were a party of 9, and they were ready for us. At first, the server was really on it! Drinks were great. Appetizers and bread were a bit slow... When main courses arrived they didn't know what dish went where, and my dish wasn't among them. They said they'd be right out with my dish (as everyone else was already eating). IT NEVER CAME!! After repeated questioning... my entree NEVER CAME!! after everyone else finished eating, the server asked if anyone wanted desert. Since I hadn't eaten, i placed a desert order.... IT NEVER CAME. as we got ready to leave, I asked the server to make sure the desert wasn't on the bill. Her replied, "I was going to comp it anyway...", but of course... IY NEVER CAME!

On our visit, service was prompt and friendly. Nice location overlooking a small boat marina. I volunteer on the Battleship Iowa and this is my first suggestion when asked for seafood restaurants in the area.

We were visiting a friend who lives at the yacht club. It was 100 degrees with barely any breeze, so we went to the restaurant, hoping to cool off and get a nice lunch. The air conditioning was not up to par at all, because it definitely was not cool enough inside. It was not very crowded, but we still got very slow service. There were six of us and only three of us were satisfied with our food. I got the mahi mahi sandwich with a salad, and both were perfect. Three others got seafood as well, but the fish and chips were very greasy and left unfinished. One of us got the grilled cheese and she said it was the worst she has ever had. Another of us got the BLT and the bacon was undercooked, the tomato was not fresh tasting, and the lettuce was limp. The whole thing tasted as tho it was soaked in grease. Don't go here unless you are going to order grilled seafood......nothing fried!

!st time visit here. It was a Sunday and not very busy. We were sat outside with a great view of the harbor. makings of a great night out. The waitress greeted us fairly quickly, took my dates drink order and walked off before I had a chance to order a drink. She return fairly quickly and we sorted the drinks out. mean while a group of guys had sat down a couple tables over. I guess they really needed to listen to music during their meal, so they they fired up the phone or remote speaker. So we were able to listen to a large variety of music while we sat, from heavy rock to rap. due to the volume, they all had to talk...over the music. so we were able to experience 4 guys yelling over music id expect to hear in a gym. It was enough for the table directly next to them to get up and leave. If this was a taco bell, who cares its what you expect, but when you are in a restaurant charging $30+ a plate you expect a certain service, food and ambiance. Our food arrived my dish was very good. The service and atmosphere really ruined the visit. After eating it took a long time to get the check, I think the waitress went on her break. Im not sure I will give it a second chance, which is too bad. our seats were over looking the harbor during sunset how could it go so wrong?

We stayed at the Doubletree San Pedro. It was a relaxing 15 minute walk along the Promenade to the restaurant. Service was good. Great menu selection. I had the Chefs Special for $30....Lobster Bisque, Mahi Mahi, mashed potatoes & zucchini. Beautiful dining view of the marina.

We stopped here last weekend for a late lunch , early dinner . We sat at a window table, with a great view of the marina . The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable . The service was fine , not great , but ok . Our meals were served, with a nice presentation and the food was fresh and tasty . I ordered the linguine & Clams , my husband has fish and chips . Both plates were more then we could eat and very good . By the time we finished the dining room had filled up, it maybe a bit loud for some , but we liked the energy . Enjoy !

Really good food and great views of the harbor. Our party enjoyed everything that was served. The views of the harbor are wonderful!

I was enjoying an amazing meal and conversation with my server, Casey, only to be rudely cutoff by another server named Tish. Her excuse for interrupting me was that she thought I was a server. First, I’m a woman of color. So, I’m quite sure she’s well aware of who works there. More importantly, even if I were an employee, she still interrupted me and my meal for something that certainly could have waited until I was done speaking. This was my first time at 22nd Landing. While the food and my server were both AMAZING, that experience left me with a bad taste. She was clearly admonished as she came to apologize later, but without any sort of recompense for the offensive interaction, I have no choice but to leave a 3 star review. I plan to return as I can’t wait to work my way through their extensive menu, but I just hope my next dining experience is much better than my first.

Stopped by here mid-week for lunch. We arrived at noon and got one of the last window tables. We also had the option of sitting outside on the patio. But even by the water on an August day, it was 90 degrees. But our inside table provided an excellent view of the small boats in the marina. Our server, Kelly, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She should be - she's worked here for 18 years. As for the food: I enjoyed the crab cake sandwich which was accompanied by a green salad with balsamic dressing. My lunch companion enjoyed her Caesar salad - with the option to top it with salmon. The restaurant has a full bar - so I opted for a gin martini before lunch. No complaints about that, either! :-)

This restaurant had an incredible view of the harbor, complete with frolicking sea lions and gulls. I ordered the Louie Salad with fresh crab and shrimp- light, healthy & delicious! The service was great, view incredible! Will definitely be back.

Nice restaurant with a pleasant view of the seafront port of San Pedro. The food was very tasty and the Mahi Mahi simply delicious, no room for desert after so many other sea food plates.

As part of a group attending a dinner at this restaurant, I witnessed some terribly unprofessional behavior from the manager, Tina. Apparently a member of our party was a distant family member and there had been harsh feelings within the family. This person did not even know that Tina was manager at 22nd Street Landing. The manager, Tina, rudely demanded that that this person leave the restaurant. It was unprovoked and extremely unprofessional behavior! The poor woman was terribly embarrassed and it embarrassed everyone in our whole party also. I doubt that any of us will return to this restaurant ever again

Enjoyed a late lunch at the 22nd St. Landing Restaurant this past weekend. Wife and I enjoyed our meal of sweet succulent grilled scallops and warm and savory clam chowder. We dine here often and are never disappointed. The “appreciation” comes because I unknowingly left my card after paying the bill. I didn’t realize this until the following morning. Needless to say I was stressing out hoping the restaurant had found it. They open at 11:00 am on Sunday’s and I was there. Lo and behold they did have it! I was told this happens often. I thanked the staff as they totally made my day.

Had dinner with friends. The oysters were fresh and tasty, The lobster bisque hearty. The fish dishes were all well prepared,The fish fresh, and the portions large.service was friendly and efficient. Although the restaurant is large we were able to have a conversation and hear one another. Would definitely go back

Had a business lunch here and we were fortunate to be seated outside with a wonderful view of the habour. We had some nice appetizers and for main I had the snapper, which was nice and fresh. If I had to point to something that was not fantastic, then the waiters seemed a bit confused and forgot orders several times. That said, would still come back if given the opportunity.

The whole experience was wonderful. This was our first time here and whenever I am in LA again, I will be eating here. I had made a reservation, but I changed the time because of the traffic from LAX. We ended up making our original reservation time and it was no problem for the host to go on a seat us. We were welcomed by all the staff we passed. Our table had a marina view and it was so nice to have that view during our dinner. Our waitress quickly greeted us and took our drink orders. She didn’t rush us to order and when she found out it was our first time, she recommended several items on the menu. She was very helpful and had a great personality, adding to the whole experience. It did not take long for our food to arrive. We had the New England clam chowder, Caesar salad, Ahi tuna and the Alaskan halibut. The fish was cooked just right and tasted delicious. We passed on dessert, but there were several on the menu that sorely tempted us. Don’t miss eating here!

We were part of a birthday celibration at the resturant on a Saturday night at 6:00 with reservations. We had excellant service and the table was ready on time. The place fills up early so I recommend reservations if dinning at night. Our server was excellant and took excellant care of our table. This was the best service I have had dinning out in some time. The sea food was all excellant and there were items on the menu for the ones that did not eat sea food and they were very happy with their meals also. We had quite a mix of seafood items at the table and they were all excellant and they kept the bread sticks coming hot out of the oven our whole meal. I will keep this as one of my special occasions resturants and will definately be back soon. Totally enjoyed the experiance and the food.

Went with family for dinner. It was on a Friday and the last day of school so it was pretty packed. Plus there was a large party in the back so I expected a long wait but service was great. Our server Ryan was great and cool with my picky kids He did a lot of running back n forth for us which I appreciated. Food did take a min to come but it was packed that night. Marsala was Excellent and I got a taste of the Linguine and that was also great. Nice view also.

If you're a seafood fan, thus is the place. They have the best and freshest fish in town. The Lobster bisque is by far the best anywhere. The restaurant is set up so all the tables/booths have a perfect view of San Pedro harbor. The servers are always friendly and very helpful. Most special requests are easily handled. My wife and I use this spot for our special occasions. It does get busy, so resevations are a good idea.

Beautiful view and I loved the atmosphere of 22nd Street Landing. However, the overpriced food and some of the staff were just ok. The place was not busy. The young hostess was rude. The seasoned server was training a new person and seemed overwhelmed with the 2 tables she had. The busboy was helpful, hardworking and had a smile the entire evening. Caesar salad was delicious, the fish tasted like frozen from Costco. We had to ask for fresh pot of coffee the first cup was bitter (old). I prefer the restaurant off of Harbor.

We went about 12:30 on a Friday. Restaurant was about 30% full. We had stuffed mushrooms and the crab/artichoke dip as appetizers. The mushrooms were very good. The dip was over the top! Our server knew the menu and offered several suggestions for salads, entrees and pastas. Prompt, friendly service. Large portions. All tasted great!

Sit and watch the charter boats returning with their catch while dining on the catch of the day prepared in amazing ways to delight even the most particular diner.

I've been here several times over the years and I've never been disappointed. In the past I had found the service to be a bit too slow, but that wasn't the case during my last visit a week ago for lunch. Located right in front of the marina, this restaurant is a good place to take family, friends, business partners, and so on. You can't really go wrong. Pro: Good food, good service, good view, reasonable prices, parking. Against: It's a little out of the way, but that's part of the charm.

We came in for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon, and once we checked the differences in the two menus we decided to wait the 15 minutes until the dinner menu started. The selections were a bit different, and the sides and salads had more choices. We were a party of 4 adults, and all 4 of us loved our meals. Two of us had Canadian salmon, one had a shrimp entree, and one had a scallop meal. All of them were cooked to order, and the portions were a good size. The salads were crisp and fresh, and their house apple vinaigrette dressing was delicious. Our server who was only working her second day was very efficient, friendly, and able to make good suggestions. Drinks were replenished without asking, and she did very well. We all thought that she was going to be an asset to the restaurant. No one had room for dessert so I can't comment on that. We highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant was very convenient as we were on our way to visit the Fort MacArthur Museum. Our male server was very nice to us and served us promptly so we could make our appointment for a tour at the museum. My lunch was very tasty, consisting of large grilled scallops on a bed of rice pilaf and sautéed spinach with a delightful sauce. My husband ordered the salmon linguine which he really enjoyed. We ate here before and was pleased at that time. It is not what I would call high-end gourmet, but it was very good and satisfying and provided a wonderful view of the Marina..

The view of the marina is interesting. They offer a wide variety of seafood dishes, and are willing to make any changes to the preparation if requested. Service was spot-on!

Outstanding dinner and fantastic service. My reviews are usually in parity with the average, but not this time. Tonight's dinner could not have been better. Halibut tasted fantastic and was cooked to perfection. And most of all, it was not overseasoned. It was basically just fresh fish cooked over a smoker. Dinner salad was basic but tasted pretty good. Dessert, bread pudding, outstanding. We had a 12-person group and the service was fantastic. Food came out fast, drink glass was always full, and wait staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Prior to our 28 Day Cruise to Hawaii, Samoa & Fr. Poly, we held a Get-Together dinner here and it was really Fantastic! They treated us great and the food and service was outstanding. It had superb atmosphere and the view was great. Highly Recommend it to everyone.

Came here for a business dinner. It took 20 minutes to get my Diet Coke, 30 minutes for my colleague to get his Gin and tonic, which he stated was not very good, so he ordered Vodka Gimlet, which was also not very good, both poorly prepared with no taste. It took roughly 45 minutes for dinner with a 1/2 empty restaurant. Ok food, and poor service is not what I would have expected for a restaurant with these prices.

Every time I am in CA I try to come here for the greatest clam chowder in world. You can sit outside, eat and have a glass of wine. Enjoy the chowder and view next time you are in San Pedro.

Beautiful view of the Harbor. I frequent this establishment occasionally for their Lobster Bisque and Cesar Salad with Dungeness Crab. Their Lobster Bisque is so good, I’m addicted. And since I love Cesar salad, it was a plus that they had it with Dungeness crab. I’ve tried some of their other dishes, but not very excited about them, just a bit in the bland side. I’ve tried their fish n chips, sea bass, potato crusted salmon, but just no flair. The prices are on the high end, and you would expect a top rated seafood house, but it is not there. This restaurant is huge, but when I go, it is empty, except during the holidays. Price Range - $$-$$$ Indoor/Outdoor Seating

The 22nd Street Landing is on the second floor of an older marina building. They have preserved the history and decorated accordingly for their surroundings. We sat outdoor on the patio, which is surrounded in glass allowing for maximum views from each seat at the table. Our waitress was friendly and efficient, bringing us a high chair for my friends toddler. We ordered breakfast food at 1 pm and enjoyed excellent omelettes.

I made reservations about a month ago for our final dinner prior to embarking on a World Cruise on the new Viking Sun. We arrived at 16:00 planning on having a couple of drinks prior to the opening dinner hour of 17:00. Kelly, our bartender, made some excellent Beefeater Martinis and kept us entertained with her knowledge of the area. There was only one other customer so we had most of her attention. We went over to reception and were placed at a nice four top by the window overlooking the yacht basin and our ship for the next 120 days. They do have tables that face the open kitchen for those that like to watch the behind the scenes kitchenwork. We were greeted by our inefficient waitress Tizianna and placed an order for another round of drinks. The wife went the Mediterranean Sea Bass with Artichoke Hearts, Black Olives, Red Onion, Tomato, & Basil in a Balsamic Sauce and I ordered the Scallops Scampi Sauteed in Garlic Butter with Green Onion & Tomato. We both started with the house salad which was the only acceptable part of the meal. The Sea Bass served in a balsamic sauce was totally lost in the sweetness of the reduction of the sauce. The accompanying baked potato was properly executed. My biggest concern was the scallop scampi. I had indicated at the beginning of the meal that I was gluton intolerant. Scampi usually means cooked in garlic butter with green onion and tomato according to the menu description. It does not mean that you used breaded scallops for the protein. I stopped after the first bite when I realized the error. Apparently the kitchen uses the same scallops in their fried presentation as in the scampi dish. It should not be too hard the keep the seafood separate in the preparation area of the kitchen. I asked for the bill indicating to Tizianna that the dish was unacceptable. I made the assumption she would have a manager stop by to discuss my concerns. She just brought the bill. I signed leaving no tip. As we were leaving I asked her why a manager had not stopped by our table. No reply. As we were getting on the elevator a manager showed up. I explained my concerns. She indicated they always used breaded scallops. I am guessing it is a restaurant preparation company and this place is too lazy to order regular and breaded frozen product. I suggested she review the charges and make an adjustment. As of this writing I have not seen any charges so I am not sure she did anything. This spot is highly rated on TA. If food allergies are a concern think twice about dining here.

The Crab Louis has more crab than almost anywhere else, at a very reasonable price. For a slightly lower price, you can substitute shrimp for crab, but the crab is so good, you shouldn't pass on it. The cooked seafood is fresh, and you can see the fish before it's cooked, meaning you can choose the piece of fish you want to eat.

The saving grace for this restaurant are the incredible views and a waiter named Jon. The food is terrible and the wait very, very long. We had read bad reviews of the place and hoped it had changed. But it had not! the food came in drips and drabs so the five of us got our food one by one with long pauses. Do not go here

Once you find this place - it's all good. Plenty of parking. If you like to look at boats while you eat - this is the place to go. Must walk up a set of stairs to get to the dinning area - but it's worth it. Good quality food. The clam chowder was exactly how it should be. The shrimp salad was a B+. The dressing could have been slightly better. Good bread - and essential component of a decent fish place. The waitress - Tina - was charming and efficient. The wine selection could do w/a bit of an expansion. I'll return w/pleasure.

We were looking for someplace to eat around San Pedro (had just driven out to Point Fermin Lighthouse) and headed towards the harbor, hoping to find a nice seafood restaurant - and we did! My husband enjoyed the Fisherman's Platter and I enjoyed the Salmon Dill Fettuccini. Service was good. Enjoyed seeing the boats/yachts in the harbor.

Since this was one of the first times we had been out to a restaurant since Covid thing started 6 months ago, I was looking forward to a nice seafood meal. We were given a nice table outside with a beautiful view. I was surprised not to see more local fresh fish on the menu. The only thing close was California white sea bass which is local & very different from Chilean sea bass. What ended up on my plate looked like overcooked fish sticks. That was a crime. Even the cup of clam chowder as bad. The server was nice and tried to do a good job but got the orders all confused.

Having eaten here a few times I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal. Very good choices of food are available with local fish and good steaks. The views of the harbor from the panoramic windows make the visit worthwhile. Staff are always friendly and the prices very reasonable. Good beer and wine selection too. If you are booking, try to get a seat by the windows.

Arrived early, without reservation on a Saturday evening, and were seated right away, but not visited by waiter for over 10 minutes. Long waits for pretty much everything, though when it came, food was good. Son had steak and shrimp which he devoured, and I had smoked salmon salad which was very good. Only thing that came quickly was the check. Not inexpensive.

this is a good place to eat seafood in the area. It is a nice location looking out over the harbor. Great ambiance. Frequented by locals.

My family has dined here for years. The food is fresh, tasty, and competitively priced. The view from just about anywhere is lovely as the restaurant overlooks a marina. Service is casual, friendly, consistent - no one is rushed here. While the menu caters to fish/seafood eaters, there are several options available for those who don't partake of fish. They have also cooked - to - order for me on occasion (I don't eat seafood).

We recently went to an event in the San Pedro area and were hard pressed to find a place to eat. After perusing the Ports of Call options we opted for the 22nd St. Landing restaurant, which had been recommended to us by someone at the event as probably being our best bet in the area. It was nice enough and the restrooms were clean (a good sign), but I wasn't sold on the cleanliness of the table and my surroundings. My companions weren't that impressed with the restaurant either - but in our case it is more preferential than anything else as there were several folks in the restaurant and seemed to be there intentionally. My salad was decent enough and the fish and chips were ok too. We did enjoy the historic photos on the walls in the restaurant and walking in the harbor after lunch but encountered a great many flies - maybe because of the fishing boats (ya think!?).

Eaten here twice as other people's guest. Ate dinner and lunch. Both very well cooked and prepared if not remarkable. Service attentive and speedy. Marina views are what makes this restaurant a cut above the rest.

The 22nd Street Land Seafood Grill seats more than 100 people and has a nice view overlooking boat docks with a view out to the sea. However, most such large venues have food that is mediocre at best, and this is no exception. I had a sole seafood wrap that was bland and tasteless. Another member of the party had sea bass that was over cooked and tough. The bass was traded in for a decent salad. A third member ordered a salad with Cajun grilled shrimp which were also overlooked and tough. The saving grace of the experience was the wait staff who were very friendly and helpful.

We had a group dinner at the 22nd Street Landing and the service and atmosphere was outstanding. I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I enjoyed dinner, cute place. They gave us so much food we had to take a to go box The lobster soup was excellent!

I have been here at least 5 or 6 times and this is my first review of the place i can't believe Iv'e never reviewed it before I guess it' because i just take it for granted that everybody just knows this is a great place and that I have so much fun here that I just seem to forget to review it . Take it from me the staff is great very fun and friendly the food is OFF THE HOOK FANTASTIC I don't really know how to enplane it maybe it's the rich history and the atmosphere but the place just makes me feel good thanks guys I just love it here .

We went here for lunch. I ordered a Mahi sandwich. It was very appetizing. I loved it. The best though is to get a window table and just get lost in the views overlooking the water. it was a great treat. It is a second story restaurant overlooking the marina.

LOVE this upscale restaurant, but still very laid back. We travel by water and dock and go up and eat amazing FRESH fish, the bread is ALWAYS yummy and the deserts are all winners!!!!! LOVE LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!!!!

We had an opportunity to have a mini reunion with a dear uncle, cousin, sister and brother in law in San Pedro, CA recently and my cousin chose this restaurant for us to meet. We had a super meal of fresh sea food, great wine and of course service that enhanced the evening for us. Highly suggest you give it a try!

Very nice food in an upscale setting. Get a window seat if you can. Awesome view of the water! Great for that special occasion .

I have a friend who lives in New York and travels excensivly same as I do we both agree that the best Oisters Rockefeller are served in this Restorani in San Pedro .they are served in the bed of rock salt and most certsinly are the best ever tasted.

This is my favorite choice for a "celebration" restaurant. This is where I like to go for my birthday, anniversary, etc. The booth tables overlooking the water, the service, the delicious rolls--all contribute to a lovely time. My favorites are the scallops and the salmon.

This is a place you really need to go to when in the neighbourhood. No need to say to try the fish. Couldn’t be more fresh. And moreover super friendly service. I’ll definitely go again.

Best thing about 22nd Street Landing is the view of the harbor. We were there with a large party, service was very good. We weren’t rushed. Food was a little above average. Reserant could use an update in decor. Parking is free.

We have been in San Pedro with our boat in one of the Marinas for about 2 years now and have always wondered about the 22nd Street Landing Seafood Grill. Last night, our friends took us to dinner there and the meal was delightful. The view from the big glass windows over the Marina was a great background as we sat and enjoyed our cocktails at a window table. We had reservations for 7pm on a Sunday and timing was perfect to watch the sunset as we dined. Highly recommend the reservations as others who arrived at the same time we did without reservations were informed that it was a 30-45 min wait for a table. The service was good, the drinks were properly made, but appetizers were excellent. We had the grilled Scallop and Jumbo Shrimp skewer as well as a plate of fried Calamari. Portions were perfect and the applewood grilled skewer was superb with a beautiful taste of the applewood and not overcooked as scallops are very delicate and get tough when over done. The specials were a Crab Louie salad and a Grilled Scallop plate with mashed potato and zucchini. Our friends had one of each and my wife had the Crab Louie as well. I had the Cajun Seafood on linguini with scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams, and calamari. We sampled each others orders and everyone was delighted with the food which arrived hot and cold as appropriate. We complemented each other on their choice and how every plate was perfect in portion and properly cooked and served. The scallops again were excellent. The timing of the main courses was perfect as it allowed us to complete our appetizers and finish our drink with some good conversation. The restaurant acoustics were nice as we could easily have our conversation without hearing the many other patrons. We shall definitely return again as it is a terrific seafood grill and a casual dining atmosphere.

I don't live far from here and stop in periodically. Decided to have lunch here a few weeks ago. Friendly reception and I decided to sit at the kitchen bar for lunch. Service was a bit spotty for the rest of the meal. Started the meal with a cup of pricey clam chowder. Never had chowder that thick before. It was nice bit nothing to write home about. For my lunch entree, had the fresh Pacific sea bass and rice. It was more than plentiful but seemed overcooked. The rice was tasteless and the accompanying vegetables average. Also enjoyed a glass of chardonnay. I've had much better service here, and better food, too. But this is a San Pedro landmark restaurant and deserves your visit if you are in town. I know I will be back, too. Everyone had a less than stellar day every now and then!

This is in a wonderful location and the restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere. We had lunch there and the service and fish and chips were very good. So much so that we booked to go back in the evening and were looking forward to it. Oh dear what a mistake! They were not at all busy and neither was our server. We ordered a 'bottle' of wine and got a glass instead. We ordered the #1 special of grilled salmon and it was very dry and very overcooked with a sauce that was overpowering. The server did not once enquire as to whether the food was to our liking and spent the most time talking to a colleague at the bar. I had to go to the bar to ask him to get us two more glasses of wine. When he got those he still did not enquire about the food although we had left the major part of the meal. When I paid the check I wrote on it "DISAPPOINTING' and the server finally asked me why I had done so. I said it seemed the only way as he had not enquired. His response was that they had a good range of entrees so perhaps we would be more lucky next time. There did not appear to be anyone in charge and I think our experience might not be typical. It was disappointing and frustrating as had someone taken charge of the situation it possibly could have been resolved. I felt I had wasted my money. Interestingly our taxi driver asked about our experience and said he only recommended the restaurant for lunch.

Great lunch spot with a beautiful view of the harbor. Service was efficient. Homemade breadsticks with cheese are tasty. Two of us enjoyed the Lobster Bisque which we learned is something they are known for...it had chunks of lobster in a red creme sauce. I had the caesar salad with blackened snapper. I'd have it again but ask for either dressing on the side or 1/2 the normal amount. Others had halibut, swordfish and sea bass. Everyone left full and happy. I'll be back on a future trip to the area.

We visited 22nd Street Landing Seafood Grill as a Family group . The Restaurant had good views over a Marina and was quite spacious. The service was friendly and efficient, even though the place virtually full of people. Always a good sign. The flood was well cooked and a large range of dishes was available. I had the Fish and chips which was very nice Both my wife and I would certainly eat there again during our next visit to Los Angeles. Only critism was that the parking was inadequate for the size of Restaurant.

As this establishment is quite near where the cruise ships dock, we disembarked and were met by my daughter and her boyfriend who live near LA. We had a great lunch with appies and drinks on the deck. The food was good and the server was excellent. Recommended!

Beautiful view and great service! The seafood was fresh, and I really enjoyed my scallop dish as well as the Caesar salad. But the best part was the owner actually took time to tell me and my dinner date about the history of the restaurant. The service was awesome.

Stopped by our favorite place the day before Thanksgiving to have a light lunch and watch the $Million $ boats go by boats. We both had the Shrimp Louie Salad. Very fresh and full of hard boiled eggs slices, cucumber's off the vine, sliced tomatoes, loives etc. etcc. Great Louie dressing too and lot's of it on the side. Good selection of wines by the glass and bottle at reasonable prices. Fresh baked and hot, cheese bread. Ask for "Nicole" who will give you great service with a Great smile.

Meandered down through the beaches with our Pasadena friends on Memorial Day after attempting and failing to get anywhere near Venice Beach. Just before the container city of Long Beach we ended up in this marina-side second floor restaurant. Comfortable oldtime wood and seaside ambiance matching a lovely view of the ocean. Good fresh seafood products obviously. Oysters Rockefeller were luscious and the others liked the fried calamari (I'm not a big fan). Gotta say I suppose that clam chowder is a personal thing because of all the reviews that said this was their favourite and we have to agree. We had been in San Francisco and driving down the PCH for the previous ten days and had four other chowders. THIS was (and is...) the best. Ideal Bar (Santa Cruz) and Original Joe's (SF/North Beach) a very close second and Anchor Oyster Bar (SF/The Castro) and Eagle Cafe (SF/Pier 39) in third place.

Had the crab cake sandwich on the deck Restaurant interior was not available due to COVID . It was very good. Paired it with a Lagunitas IPA. We also came back later for dinner and got takeout. Fast service and nice staff. Small patio so make a reservation!

This met all our expectations. Reservation was made via Open Table about 2 months prior to travel. We were in LA for a cruise. We arrived on time and was seated right away, at a table by the window with the Marina view. The restaurant is large, and the atmosphere just perfect. The food was outstanding. We had the New England Clam Chowder and their are many clams in the chowder and it was delicious. Also shared the grilled prawns and scallops, and we each had the stuff salmon. Everything was cooked to perfection and was the best dinner I had in a long time. For dessert we shared a slice of the mud pie, also very good. The service was excellent, it was truly a perfect experience and we will be going here everything time we cruise out of Los Angeles. If you go, you will not be dissapointed.

Had a great dinner. I had a cup or the New England clam chowder with plenty of clam and some bacon for added taste. Not too salty. My main dish was the magi-mahi grilled sandwich with steak fries. Moist as it should be. Wife had a Caesar salad with balsamic vinaigrette and a main of stuffed filet of sole (excellent), mashed potatoes, and steamed vegetables. We had a the chocolate chip mousse for desert. Great meal at a good Price $95

We stopped in for lunch as this restaurant was recommended and we were happy we did. The grilled halibut was wonderful! Nice view of the marina. Upscale restaurant and worth it.

Our family of eight had dinner together at a nice table with a view of the harbor. The restaurant is bright and pleasant. My son and I ordered the petite top sirloin. The delicious steak was prepared perfectly and was very tender. The service was great, too. The restaurant was the "total package" for a nice meal out. I would happily return.

World’s best clam chowder is found at 22nd St Landing. I try to come here every time I am in Los Angeles. Besides, the view is wonderful. I always try to sit outside on the porch to get the best views. Sometimes there are some impolite airline crews here, but after a few drinks they normally fly back to London on there 747s. I am sure that you would enjoy the clam chowder & surroundings when you visit.

Great restaurant overlooking harbor at San Pedro CA. Extensive menu, efficient courteous staff. Enjoyed this restaurant with friends on a trip to CA. Wife enjoyed almond crusted salmon with vegetables and delicious red potatoes. I had the seafood cioppino with fresh fish, scallops, shrimp and mussels in a spicy tomato stew over rice. A very large serving which was delicious. Best seafood stew I have ever had. Highly recommended.

We arrived there first time sat at bar service was great!!! Then went back for brunch on Sunday was super nice staff I wish I could remember are ladies name she was soooooo good it was my husbands bday she took such good care of us we were major Dodgers fans getting ready to go to game.i remember she told us her dad worked at park and his name was Henry anyhow she was so Great!! Bottomless Mimosas were good food was good both times we went there . I never got to say than you to her . But if she reads this a big Thank You! . We would go back !

Pre-cruise Lunch hit the spot! After a long flight, our server Jen was wonderful. The clam chowder, lobster bisque, tuna melt and chicken sandwich was welcomed comfort food. Do not miss if you’re in the area for a scenic lunch!

Lovely view. Food was less than inspired. Just so-so, throughout the meal. However the service was excellent. The waiter was very attentive. That was a plus. I had a scallop dish. Not bad, not noteworthy in any way. Pretty much sums up the whole thing.

Overpriced, food average, I give then 1 star for the view Extremely overpriced, and is not worth. There are many restaurants near by. Too expensive for what they serve.

Nice view in places - if you like looking at docked boats - some nice some not so; Food was ok - crab cakes were ok but very dark; lobster was ok; desert was probably the best although the oreo ice cream was hard as a rock; calamari was fine but not much on a plate for appetizers - barely enough for 2 A little pricey - I'd go there again - service was good

Sorry, no photos for this one, I showed up very hungry... I was in town for a girls weekend and we weren't staying too far from the 22nd st. Landing Seafood Grill & Bar, we went for dinner on a Sunday night. This place seems like an institution, it's probably been here a while and the people who frequent the marina probably frequent this restaurant. We had the shrimp cocktail, standard but good. We also enjoyed the seafood stuffed mushrooms and took the servers advice to order the breadsticks to dip in the sauce the mushrooms are served in, I personally didn't think the breadsticks were as good as they are made to be, but anything is good dipped in garlicky melted butter. Two of us, myself included, had a daily special, bacon and potato-crusted Alaskan Halibut with 3 scallops, the fish and scallops tasted fresh and were cooked perfectly, it was served on a bed of pasta and drizzled with a lemon butter cream sauce that was sinfully good. The other girl ordered the herb seared Ahi and agreed that her fish was cooked perfectly and had one of the best flavors in an Ahi dish that she has had. The lobster bisque was also good but is only a bisque (there aren't any large chunks of lobster in it). We ordered the lemon cheesecake to enjoy later, it had a smooth texture and just the right amount of lemon flavor infused into the cheesecake. We got this to go and didn't receive the raspberry puree, which was a bummer because I bet it is delicious. The service was good, our server seemed like she had been there for a while and knew the menu well. It's a big restaurant but was quiet the particular Sunday that we came in, I'm sure it's a lively place during the summer!

Excellent restaurant with great views and good friendly service. Large servings for each course. Oysters were a standout, as was the Seafood Cioppino.

Great location, beautiful views, outdoor seating. Stopped in for lunch and a harbor view. Staff friendly, great location.

We caught an Uber from the Battleship USS Iowa Museum to this well rated restaurant today for lunch. It was a beautiful sunny day so we opted to sit out on the balcony. The service was excellent - the food delicious - paired with a bottle of Californian Chardonnay whilst looking at million dollar views - what’s not to like!! Highly Recommend!

Well known place next to Cabrillo Marina. Excellent seafood and excellent bar service. They were out of one of the specials (San Dabs) but the kitchen provided sole cooked the same way and it was excellent. The Salmon special got raves as well. Strongly recommended!

This place has a great menu with a variety of options. The food was REALLY GREAT (Mussels, ahi, breadsticks) and the staff was super accommodating, offering me a custom side to replace the starch option.

We arrived at Doubletree San Pedro Marina and the kitchen was not open yet, the front desk told us that 22nd St was a leisurely 10 minute walk along the waterfront. It was a nice day and we enjoyed the walk. The menu is typical of any waterfront seafood restaurant offering several types of fresh caught fish with your choice of preparation. It was lunchtime so we opted for the calamari Cesar salad and seared ahi tuna, the calamari and the tuna were cooked perfectly.

We have been to 22nd Street Landing a few times in the past but we wanted to share our experience on this visit. First off, the staff is super friendly. Everyone smiles so it seems they are all happy at their job which makes me as a guest happy. We had asked for a table at the window when the reservation was made and we were so happy that we got one. The view of the Marina is really nice. Easter Brunch was a set menu of $ 17 dishes and then a separate side on the menu with fish, sandwiches and such to order. We started with some Oysters and they were very good. The Landing Omelette, which was stuffed with Blue Crab and Shrimp was delish as was my husbands California Omelette. The free flowing Champagne for $ 9 was ok - not as dry as I wanted it to be. But overall it was a very nice brunch and we would for sure return for an occasion like Easter. Their HH is very good as well - you really cannot go wrong at 22nd Street Landing.

I got seated inside but it was 330 pm. I recommend reservations if you want to eat during popular times. I ordered a spicy bloody Mary and it was perfect. Then I had the calamari Mexican Cesar salad. Great combo of flavors. Happy girl here.

Restaurant is located adjacent to the yacht basin with great views of Long Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Lunch consisted of oysters, scallop scampi and broiled salmon. All were well prepared and delicious. Window seating with views of the bay made for a great experience. Definitely will visit again soon.

The food was good here but it sucked this time. I ordered my favorite soup, lobster biss. It had pieces shells in it. Then I ordered the seabass dam it was over cooked and very dry not even all the butter on the table would help. We had a party of 14 and the bill was over $600.00. I don’t think I will ever be back P.S.dont order the meat it all tastes like fish from being cooked on the grill

We have been here several times and the view at sunset of the marina is stunning. The food is also good as well as a nice selection of wines. Most scenic view of the LA Harbor.

This place rocks. I have been eating Paleo which means high protein low carbs. They grilled the fish for me and gave me all veggies and no rice or potatoes. Also brought oil and vinegar for my salad. Wonderful meal sea bass was cooked perfectly.

During COVID, you will be seated out on the outdoor patio. The food was very good. Recommend any of the oysters.

This restaurant was recommended by the bellman at our hotel. It’s in San Pedro. Friendly service, nice atmosphere, marina view, and excellent food. My husband and I both enjoyed our dinners — Fisherman’s Platter and Potato-crusted Salmon. We also liked our salads and tasty breadsticks. I recommend!

This restaurant has a fun patio we were able to eat out on and enjoy the view. The food was amazing and the service was great.

We had walked along the boardwalk from our hotel and arrived hear the end of Happy Hour and before the dining room opened. We tried the calamari apple at the lounge and it was delicious. Cooked to perfection. After enjoying our apple and wine, we were escort Ed to our table for dinner. What a beautiful view of the harbour. We were entertained watching the different boats and yachts. We asked our waitress which dish she liked the best and she gave us two excellent suggestions. I had scallops and my spouse had a seafood linguini. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. After a leisurely meal, with attentive service we then walked the boardwalk again to our hotel. It was most delightful

We had a huge gathering of about 50 people in the party room towards the back of the restaurant on the upper deck. The staff handled everything without a hitch from the social hours all the way to dinner. The view from the dining room at sunset is to die for. You can see people with fishing pole by the pier. The sight assured us the freshness of our dishes. I had shrimp scampi which turn out to be the best I have ever had. The pictures on the wall showed the history of the place and the town. The bar is long and the kitchen is open style. The kitchen staff are so welcoming who waived at us with huge smiles as we walked by as if we are regulars..

I went in for a light dinner before going on a charter boat. I had a Cesar salad and some clam chowder, both were very good. The service was good, the staff was friendly and the view was wonderful.

We loved 22 Street Landing for its pleasant decor, good food and attentive staff. The specials of the day are inviting, and the menu is a seafood lovers dream. I had the snapper done Cajun style, and the rest of our group had the cioppino. Everything was cooked to perfection and flavorful. No hesitation going back on our next stop in San Pedro.

15 of us had a wonderful lunch at 22nd St. Landing today. Jenn, our server did a terrific job in getting everyone’s order placed and delivered with perfection. I enjoyed the crab cakes sandwich ($16) that was served on a warmed crispy French roll with a generous side salad. This is a longtime established classic restaurant with plenty of free parking and a wonderful view of the harbor. If you enjoy quality seafood and generous portions then 22nd St. Landing is worth a visit.

After spending a good part of the day searching for the SS Lane Victory, we were very hungry and saw this inviting restaurant. It had a nice view of the marina, but we couldn't see any of the big ships that call. The scallops and Cioppino were very satisfying, and service was attentive.

Great Pre-cruise lunch! We opted for an early lunch at 22nd Street Landing and were completely satisfied. It was a great, but expensive meal, with great service. They unfortunately did not have any ginger beer, so I had to move on from my new drink of choice, Moscow or Kentucky mule, to the old faithful Long Island Iced Tea!! (Boy did that hit me between the eyes!) We started with the Calamari. Calamari has to be fried just right to be any good. Ever since the Calamari in Venice a couple of years ago, we’ve been searching for something approaching it, but could only find chewy, greasy calamari. This was very good Calamari. Not as good as in Venice, but not bad either. The oil was hot enough and the calamari were fresh enough that it was very good calamari. Judy had the mixed green salad and I had the Caesar. And my Caesar had the anchovy in it. That’s the right way to have a Caesar salad! For mains, Judy could not decide on fish or shellfish, so she had the Ciappino. This was a good Ciappino. Not as good as the Ciappino I had in San Francisco at a 150 year old eatery, but pretty good. Spicier with a little more cumin than I care for, but loaded with lots of good fish, clams, mussels, shrimp and above all else, scallops! My main was fresh grilled halibut. I love halibut. This wasn’t quite as good as the alder grilled salmon I had in Fairbanks a couple of years ago, but it was very very well done. Dessert was the Pecan Pie. Once again not as good as my Aunt Mary makes it in Arkansas and it did need a little more time in the oven to crust the bottom pie dough, but very nice none the less. So as you see, most of what we had was 2nd best, but second best to some really great eats! It is rather expensive though, but what the heck, we are now officially on vacation!

This is a nice restaurant. It is always predictable. Fresh fish very good. Like to go with the chef specials. Breadsticks are a staple of this restaurant. Nice views. Casual dining experience.

If you are eating steak and potatoes with the view of the Pacific Ocean at your footsteps, be prepared to pony up. I love the cool mist of the ocean breeze. 22 nd St Landing Restaurant is tight on the boating docks of San Pedro/LA ports. The food is good, but the scenery is even better. You’ll have your choices of seafood dishes. For better taste and freshness I suggest you go 5 minutes down to San Pedro Fish market. But Fish market doesn’t have the same romantic feel as 22nd Street Landings. Expect to pay a little bit more for the scenery, but we’ll worth the money.

Nice place located by the marina with a good view. However the food is quite without taste. Portions are big and pricewise is quite OK. Started dinner with rockfeller oysters, which were the best of the night and are grilled oysters with cheese and some greens. For the main which comes with choice of salads, greens and fries i had the scallops in sauce, not matter what i added the taste was not there. Overall for the four of us with a bottle of wine and tip 220$

We went to the 22nd Street Landing Seafood Grill & Bar expecting the same fine service and food that we had experienced for several years of patronizing said establishment. This establishment was known to be above average due to it's atmosphere and location. We also understand that the pandemic has caused eating establishments some amount of difficulty adjusting to reopening; but we received the poorest service and attitude that we have endured in any restaurant of our dinning out experience. 1. The food was very good; no problem. 2. My wife specifically request lemon and butter side for her fish meal; it never arrived until she had practically finished eating. 3. I ordered the house special hamburger, (My favorite), it came open faced and dry; no condiments, etc. 3. I waited for approximately 10 minutes for the server to bring some condiments and finally asked a passing server to bring such. I never saw him again. Finally one of our party went to the grill to ask for something with which to garnish the hamburger, they couldn't find the ketchup. 4. We also had to go personally for ask for salt and pepper. 5. Finally a server arrived with ketchup, it had been well over 15 minutes since the Hamburger was served and it was getting cold; it was suggested by some our party that the hamburger be replaced with a freshly grilled hot one. I rejected that request as the hamburger was still somewhat warm and eatable, and I wanted to finish and leave. 6. We were never offered water or saw our server until the check came. 7. We were never offered dessert. When we finished, I went to the desk and asked to speak to the manager, she come to the desk and I informed her of our displeasure and why we felt so. She apologized for the server and I told that she was was responsible for the actions and behavior of her employees, and that we would not be patronizing this establishment again. She retorted, "OK! Yes it's my fault!" It is our feeling that were were seen as "pests" and trouble makers...This establishment certainly has no appreciation for it's patrons and a seemly snippy attitude toward you if you didn't feel satisfied with the dinning experienced they provided. We will never go there again; it was not pleasant.

Walked down the waterfront from The Doubletree, great dinner the night before cruise departure on NCL so all was good in the world!! Great food & view.

Came here for lunch and the restaurant has a beautiful view over the harbor, I ordered a sole filled with seafood and it was really good together with a lemon butter sauce and the rice. Recommended and will come back.

Excellent food, good service and fabulous facilities. Very fast service. Good prices and very friendly staff

We were a party of eight looking for seafood prior to sailing on a Mexican Riviera Cruise on NCL Palm Sunday 2017. Having grown up in Los Angeles way back I was only considering Ports of Call. Fortunately a long time resident happened to be visiting us and all but ordered us to go to the 22nd Street Landing Seafood Grill and Bar. around and walk around Ports of Call which is about a mile away from 22nd street. Please, only go to Ports of Call if you missed out on going to Tijuana last weekend. Word is out that it will soon be torn down and rebuilt. hooray. The restaurant is on 22nd Street, oh the irony. You dine on the second floor of a two story building, entering on the parking lot side of the building. There is an elevator to take you up if you wish. The lobby is large and guarded by photos of old San Pedro fishing events. The check in counter runs well and the girls are happy to see you. The restaurant is layed out on two levels, thus no matter where you sit you an see the yachts in the marina. There is no outside seating, perhaps because it was April, but I did not see any place for outside dining. The place reminds one of the upscale places at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco....lots of use of glass and wood. Very pleasant. But, it is noisy and probably not for a romantic dining experience. Lots of families here. The menu is basic seafood and prepared and served well and priced accordingly. Yes, seafood is usually an expensive meal. Pleasant and quick wait staff. Full bar. Children's menu (is there some law that says kids menu must always have hot dog and mac and cheese??). We ate well and had at least one beer or glass for the 5 adults and two of three kids skipped the kids menu for more healthy options. Our bill was just over $200. Certainly you will find this is the "best" in San Pedro...by default. If this were in our town of Las Vegas it was not be around long...but it is in San Pedro, where they are king of the hill. Score....80 or 100 (for San Pedro)

What a view... beside to wait for a window seat or dine outside. Delicious food, good service in a warm, friendly & casual atmosphere. A little "pricy" for our taste, but worth comping back. As usual we split a meal.

Meal was excellent. Perfect views of the marina. Service was attentive and friendly. Great experience! Would definitely visit again.

Great atmosphere and food. Very accommodating to us watching the game before the reservation. Recommended.

Lunch overlooking the harbor on a beautiful day is hard to beat. The drinks were good and sufficient. The scallops perhaps just a touch over done but the sauce, rice and spinach were a great combination. The fish and chips were very good with a nice light breading and hand cut fries. Cheese breadsticks were a nice touch! Happy hour begins at 3:00!!

So locating a "seafood grill" at a yacht marina doesn't radiate cheap eats - so I take the price out of my review (even though our bill for 2 was ~$100). - Buffalo Wings w/ranch dressing: nicely seasoned, saucy, good portion - Cup of Lobster bisque soup: enjoyable, creamy but not so rich as to overpower - Cup of New England Clam Chowder: creamy, maybe could have used more clams - Seafood Stuffed Sole: nice portion, good flavor w/lemon butter - Fish & Chips: fish could have been thicker in proportion to batter. - 1 beer / 1 glass wine. The evening wasn't too crowded, but when our server states 'I'm here to take care of you', I'd expect to see him more often to bring that bread that was promised (very good when it did come - brought by bus boy who noticed we had none), and more frequent than 1 time to check on us and fill water glass, then drop off check. Nice view to watch the fishing charters coming in / out and crews feeding scraps to the gulls. We stumbled on this place during a marina walk but wouldn't necessarily make it a destination to repeat.

My family and I ate here the night before our cruise. I ordered the Rack of Lamb, which was pricey, and I was disappointed. It was not well prepared -- chewy and frankly lacked what I had hoped for in taste. They tried to cover it up with a heavy balsamic sauce. My wife's sea bass was tasty. Service was attentive. Despite my experience, I'd go back and give them another try with a different entree.
Pleasant surprise
We have driven by this place for years but had never taken notice of it. It was our anniversary and we were looking for someplace differant. We saw good reviews and called for a reservation. When we walked in we were greeted by a beautiful view of the Marina. We had asked for a seat out side and were quickly taken to a lovely table overlooking the Marina. I am not a fish person so I was a little worried about what choices I would have. Not a problem. The menu is as varied as could be. My husband had Tuna and I had Chicken Marsales. Both were excellant. With a great view, wonderful service and excellant food this was just what we were looking for. We will deffinatly be back
