OK, nothing special

By Bognor |

Handy place for a quick lunch and cheap enough but don't expect a gastronomic adventure. Its a mixture of all kinds of Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai dishes.

Pretty ok to good.

By iamthekeywestlover |

The food is ok. I go because my gf loves Asian food. Its definitely not a bad place to eat. I go once per month.

Crisp spring rolls, tasty pho and an almost quiet dinner room

By Alvaro G |

It has an air of Zen quality this place. With a small glass waterfall on one wall and a very attentive and serenely staff promptly taking your orders, makes for a delightful lunch experience. It's a mix of Chinese & Vietnamese cuisine. Egg and spring rolls were thin crispy and very tasty. Pho Taj (eye round steak) tender and flavorful. The Bun Thit Heo Xao Xa (pork sautéed with lemon grass and salad on rice vermicelli) aromatic, with vermicelli al dente and the right blend of condiments. They have lunch an dinner specials, M-F 11am-3pm. The Mu Shu ( Northern China) consisting of shredded pork, shrimp or chicken, bamboo shoots, ginger, garlic among some of the ingredients. All fresh and fragrant. Several other choices are offer too: Lo Mein, Seafood, Egg foo young, rice& soups, which I will delightfully check on my next visit!

Very good food. Good prices.

By Vincent S |

All five of us liked our dishes. They have Vietnamese dishes too, which two of our group tried. Everything was tasty.

Dinner

By Melynn424 |

This was next to our hotel Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton - Miami Brickell Downtown. Great service and friendly staff. They serve large portions of food.

Nothing Special

By GinaS |

After many hours of traveling, we were weary and hungry. This was the closest restaurant to the hotel so we popped in. The menu has a lot of variety, the service was just okay. The food was sufficient to feed my hungry family, but on a normal day we would not have loved it.

Great value.

By GlasgowRobbo |

We were staying at The Hampton next door and decided to eat locally. Staff very friendly, food excellent in quality and quantity. Will definitely eat here again if staying in the area.

Very enjoyable

By colinsgal |

We ate here whilst staying at the adjacent Hampton hotel, primarily out of convenience after a long flight. We were pleasantly surprised- the food was good value, plentiful and tasty. The staff were also super friendly

Good, convenient meal

By Steve E |

We arrived at our hotel later in the evening and were happy that 3 Chefs was on the first floor of our hotel and still open. The food was tasty but nothing special. Our waitress was very friendly. It's definitely worth a try if you're looking for some Chinese food.

Sometimes good, other times below average

By Mari L |

Not very many Chinese food options in the Brickell area and we've had some okay food here. This is not authentic Chinese food, but it the ingredients are usually very fresh. We can tell if the regular chef is off as the food is prepared in a different manner and not always good.

Great food, staff and venue

By Kirsty M |

The restaurant is simply a great place to eat. Fantastic tasting food and excellent staff! Large portions, so for us British, you get loads for your money!

Good Chinese food

By Rita Y |

My brother and sister-in-law from England both love Chinese food. They took a cruise to Miami and my husband and I stayed with them for three days. Two out of three dinners, we ate at the "3 Chefs." The first night we shared 4 different entrees and they were all very flavorful. I especially loved the Mongolian Beef and had that entree to myself on the 2nd dinner. It is so convenient to the Hampton Inn & Suites, Brickell, so when it rained in the evening, it was no problem.

Great Chinese Food

By sidlambersky |

We order in from here all the time because the food is great. We eat in the restaurant periodically and enjoy it, The staff works hard to please you. We enjoy the food and service

Decent range of inexpensive oriental based options

By 0213 |

Good plain food a little over prepared but fine after a few drinks. Clean, however lacked a little atmosphere. Reminded me of a back street resteraunt in Shanghai. Decent food few frills.

Nice staff

By 40sisimi |

The food was just ok for the price and also a good size,i placed my order not knowing how sizeable it was ,we ended up saving some for the next day

Good food, service, and price

By cwhatley |

My wife and I were staying at the Hampton Inn in downtown Miami the night before a cruise. We went out for some drinks, and on our way back to the hotel we stopped in to grab some food from 3 Chefs. It could be the alcohol talking, but the pork bun was very good (I ate all of it) and my wife really enjoyed her moo goo gai pan. It wasn't too long before closing, but they sat us immediately, got our food out quickly, and we didn't have to wait on things like water refills. Overall a very convenient and enjoyable late dinner.

Trying It Again

By Karen R |

Last review was in 2015. Now August 2016 and it hasn't gotten better except for a few items on the menu. Soups are usually pretty good. Last time I ordered orange beef, pan fried dumplings, BBQ spare ribs and their Special Soup. Soup was good, orange beef was dry and stringy and obviously no flavor. Pan fried dumplings are now commercial dumplings instead of the plump, savory delicious dumplings they used to offer (must save them time as they must buy them from a commercial vendor). We're trying them one more time to see if it has improved, but definitely not ordering the dumplings. Spare ribs were also old and chewy (as if they had been left over for several days and reheated). Not sure why we're trying them again but we're always hopeful.

Not worth going

By Nicole J |

We were staying at the hotel next door. My kids love Chinese food so I thought this would be perfect. Staff was nice but the food was not good at all. To much sauce, salty and no one at the table like it. We ordered 3 different dishes. The rice was good and the egg rolls were good but main dishes we not good at all.

Good take away

By eyal |

The general chow chicken was tasty and fresh The fried pork rice was good The hot and sour soup was very good The lady at the counter was attentive and very nice A good value for money

If you know good Asian food..this isn’t it

By mamacass724 |

I️ know this is a family restaurant but there is nothing authentic about the Thai or Chinese food. I️ ordered pad Thai with shrimp and the shrimp were not unflavored and just thrown on top of the pad Thai. Egg rolls were not flavorful. And the service was very spotty (there seemed to be a bias towards Asians who came there vs us).

Excellent Chinese Food at a Fair Price

By Travelforgolf7 |

My wife and I wanted dinner close by The Hampton Inn on Brickell and we found a beauty. 3 Chefs has opened a new location and it is among the better a Chinese restaurants we have eaten in. We each had a dinner special which included soup and egg roll, my entree was sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice, and hers was cashew chicken. Both were excellent and each for $11.45 . If you are ever in this growing area of Miami, stop in. You won't regret it.

Fantastic!

By Echo T |

I discovered this little gem whilst staying at a nearby hotel, what a delight! I carried out some Chow Mein for a late supper and it was fantastic :D I will definitely be back to try more adventurous dishes and their other two locations, 3 Chefs and a Chicken in Coral Gables and 3 Chefs Brickell.

Tasty Chinese food!

By Travel X |

Ordered some Chinese Food for late dinner and was impressed with the quick delivery and online ordering options...Special mention: " spicy curry chicken and beef fried rice are simply awesome"...the menu is not as big as other Chinese deliveries, but I prefer quality over quantity.

Sereve Diarraha & Vomiting ALL Day Tod27ay !!!

By crk9408@gmail.com |

We ordered shrimp & lobster & Mongolian beef last night ( 10-27-19. At 6:00 a.m. we woke up to vomiting & diahhara. It still continues and it’s 7:00p.m. We will be going to emergency in the morning with left over food to be tested .

The Worst in Miami

By N E F |

There is not a lot of competition in Miami for really good Chinese food. This restaurant sets a new low even for Miami. Absolutely the worst Chinese food I have had the misfortune to try to eat. Ordered home delivery and threw out the entire meal after taking one taste of each dish. My wife almost never complains about food and even she thought it inedible.

Duck delight

By Waltj-Seattle |

I really like to eat Duck and a friend of our recommended 3 Chefs. The food is good and you get plenty to eat. I ordered the Hong Kong Duck and it was good and more than I could eat. They have 2 other Duck choices including Peking Duck. Being from Seattle we have a international China Town district with authentic Chinese food and the Hong Kong Duck rates up to par with home. I would recommend ordering a regular meal that is enough to fill your belly. If you have a group order family style and there will be enough to go around. The egg rolls were good but friend rice was "ok".

night out with friends

By tlfinc2001 |

we stayed at motel beside this resturant and was able to walk to it man were we surprized at the food best chicken wings ever and the other chinese food was very good also would reccomend highly

Good food and lots of it

By lastisbest |

This restaurant was right next to our hotel, so we gave it a try. Doesn't look like much, but they served some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. Service was good, too.

Twice in two weeks! Yum!

By GrayWolf85 |

We ate here twice in a two week period because we stayed in the Hotel it was by. Really really yummy in my opinion. I lovvve beef and broccoli and theirs was quite tasty! I asked for extra "sauce" and they were more than happy to oblige. Great service too!

Not good at all

By ItsYourBoyLeo |

After this visit, one thing I do know is that Miami does not have any good Chinese restaurants. Maybe I'm used to eating at Chinatowns in NY, SF or Philly... but l did not expect what I got based on the reviews. I guess this is acceptable in Miami.

Closest Chinese to the Hotel

By pjkiwinz |

Ordered a PuPu Plate for 2 & 2 mains, but were surprised as it all came out together, so by the time the starters were finished the mains were cooling off. Food was OK.

Terrible Food, Friendly Service

By Emily080 |

We were staying with the Hampton Inn, so it was very convenient to dine here because it was right next door. We ordered Shrimp Fried Rice and Tonkotsu Ramen with Shrimp. The Rice and the Ramen were both undercooked. We didn't enjoy our dinner. People said too many chefs in the kitchen spoiled the meal. Well, the meal was certainly not enjoyable.

Huge portions, fast service

By bkbmom |

Had dinner here recently and have no complaints. While not exceptional, everything was good. Very large portions, fast service, clean, friendly wait staff. No complaints and would return in the future.

Fast and Quick for delivery to Hampton Inn

By Mark P |

I ordered the chicken w broccoli and won ton soup. I got my order in only 15 minutes. It was hot and delicious. And they remembered to put the chopsticks in the bag .

One of the worst Chinese meals we ever had.

By congresso |

Since this was next to the hotel and we had not had decent Chinese food since relocating from the East Coast to SW Florida, we anticipated Miami to have some great Chinese restaurants. The ambiance was lacking with three TV's on. It is very small and seems to do mainly a take out business. The wonton soup was fine. We started with a small pu pu platter for two with the intention of ordering additional items afterwards. The platter looked like it had been reheated over a period of days......dried out and over fried. There were 2 ribs, 2 chicken wings, 2 crab ragoon and 2 egg rolls. We left the 2 egg rolls, 1 rib and 1 chicken wing. Not to mention they had two house wines and were out of one and the house cabernet tasted like vinegar. I would definitely advise NOT eating at this place. Service was pleasant.

What's Happened To Them?

By Karen R |

When we first started eating at 3 Chefs (on site and delivery) we enjoyed some of the dishes, but it has become obvious they're having problem with their chefs and we can't tell which day the fill-in chefs will be in the kitchen. We can only tell when we try the food. There are times they forget to add the sauce to a dish or it's overcooked (how do you forget to add the sauce!). We're now looking for another Chinese restaurant that is more consistent. It has never been the best Chinese restaurant, but the ingredients were always fresh and it was predictable. No longer and that's too bad as there aren't many other choices in the Brickell area.

Good asian food and great service.

By SamActual |

We enjoyed our pre-show dinner and were very appreciative of the food and service. It provided tasty food with good service.

Great quality Asian food in a casual environment

By Travelling_Tigers |

Great quality Chinese food at affordable prices - servings were large and the service was great - highly recommended.

Good service

By Aiia21 |

My kids and I stayed at Hampton inn so it was very convenient. You literally step out of the hotel entrance and there’s the restaurant door right next to it. It was pouring rain, pretty heavy typical FL thunderstorm so I was glad I didn’t have to go far to get dinner. The food was good, average good, the service was great. The volume was pretty large so order cautiously. We got too much food and couldn’t finish. Pho was tasty with lots of toppings.

Enjoyed our meal

By kaygy66 |

We stopped in for a late dinner and we were served very quickly. The food was good, hot and plentiful. This restaurant is connected to the Hampton Inn Brickell. We would eat here again.

Enjoyable Lunch

By Wizdum W |

Stopped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We were greeted and seated immediately. Great menu options and the prices were reasonable. The lunch special included soup, egg roll and entree. We enjoyed everything.

Convenience food

By Mchenchef |

We read about this in the hotels directory, so we went in. The stuff is totally refreshed from frozen convenience food, the chicken my wife had was totally thick battered, only little chicken in there. The remarkable things are: They are fast, the stuff is hot, they get you full, but it is more expensive than other places. Look around, there are so many better places within the next 2-3 blocks...

It was OK

By Ahems |

It is a healthy choice, however everything is just Blan. The service was great, it is a tiny restaurant downtown. The prices are reasonable, the portions are good. The food is just blan.

Prefab food, nice waiter

By xxNormalxx |

We had shrimps, sweet and sour. And beef curry. Shrimps prefab, eatable but not much more - felt sorry for the shrimps, dying for more or less nothing. Beef curry hmmm same feeling about the poor animal.... No, there is a reason why noone goes there. If 3 chefs (wich we think is a bad idea of having food from China, Vietnam and Thailand in a confusing menu) - are to live they must sharpen up - strongly!!! We can not recommend this place at all - sorry...

Vietnamese dinner

By Michael G |

3 Chefs offers both Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine. I had Vietnamese - spring rolls and pork bun. Both were fine, just didn't knock my socks off. Service was good and venue is clean. I may try the Chinese food next time.

Quiet Evening in Miami

By Jaflybynight1 |

Have to say really impressed at just how clean the place is. Our sever is very patient took time to ensure she understood what we wanted and gave the reassuring smile that I ordered something I would like since this is my second Vietnamese experience.

Review of 3 Chefs - Hamilton Inn & Suites, Miami

By John G |

We visited this restaurant on twice during our recent stay at the Hamilton Inn & Suites in Miami. On both occasions we had good meals the food being of good quality and flavoursome. Portions were generous, service was good and the prices reasonable. If you're staying at this Hotel then the 3 Chefs next door is worth a visit.

Avoid!!!

By stormy76 |

Avoid!!! Unless you are looking for watered down, unauthentic, overpriced, Chinese food pretending to be Vietnamese!! Pics posted. I love Vietnamese food. This is not Vietnamese food! This is a watered down cheap Chinese food place that advertises to be a Vietnamese food place. I tried to order Bún tht nng, and no one knew what I was talking about or could pronounce Bún properly. This is a very common and standard Vietnamese dish. It's the equivalent of chicken lo mein at a Chinese restaurant. I ordered the steamed pork dumplings. What I received was 6 of the Sam's Club frozen food dumplings. I was charged $8.45 along with a mandatory 18% gratuity! I tried to play it safe by ordering chicken lo mein meal with a side of fried rice. This was a very small portion charged at the premium price of $14 along with that mandatory 18% gratuity. It was supposed to include an eggroll of which I did not receive. The chicken was white meat steamed and tasteless along with flat lo mein noodles which were mush. The meal was small, tasteless, and extremely disappointing. I would highly discourage anyone from ever giving this place a chance. It's an overpriced, frozen food, poorly seasoned, poorly executed restaurant. A huge waste of my time and money. I'm still hungry so I'm going to eat a can of SpaghettiOs now. Yes, it was that bad!

Excellent healthy Asian food

By HermosaDreamer |

Conveniently located on the 1st floor. I had room delivery; Food was fresh, tasty and reasonable. Staff was friendly.

Nothing fancy, but good quality, budget friendly food

By Tami S |

We stopped in for a late dinner. The service was excellent. Smoothies are available. The have a variety of asian cusine including Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese entrees.

Fast service, reasonably priced, excellent food

By Nitya M |

We were a little skeptical because of this places outward appearance, but trust me, this food is way worth it! There were so many people here, sit in and takeout but they handled all the rush seamlessly! Very good quality food, and the portions were excellent! Be prepared to have some takeout. Lovely staff as well <3

Decent Chinese Food

By Wohlerguy |

Stayed at the hotel next door, and didn't want to go far. Pleasantly surprised with extensive menu and tasty food. Not much to look at, but friendly and efficient staff. They appear to do a LOT of takeout business. Satisfying meal.

Ordered In

By Sid L |

We have ordered in from 3 Chefs numerous times and have never been disappointed. We love every dish we had. If you are looking for great Chinese food in Brickell this is your place.

Surprisingly Good!

By Islndgrl69 |

Some of the best boneless spare ribs and Bao we’ve had. Soup dumplings were good. Orange beef was delicious. I was disappointed with my fried rice, I thought it was dry, my friend said there’s was good. Egg foo young was good also. I enjoyed the refreshing limeade. Staff was pleasant. Good hot and fresh. Would definitely come again!

Excellent Chinese!!!

By Munzbish |

We got a takeaway delivered to our room one night from this restaurant and it was gorgeous! Big portions, we couldn't finish it all and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Good service

By Deborah Z |

The service was great, super nice people. The food was served Hot and it had a great flavor. The dining room was just the right size.

Fine food with reasonable price

By Alice C |

We went there for lunch and dinner the following day. Food is fine, but not that cheap. Decoration is comfortable with high ceiling and 3 TVs. We ordered a plain vegetable dish for dinner and it was very good cooked. However, the set dinner is so so. There is no other Chinese food in the neightbourhood so we are happy to find this one. They seem very busy with take out orders.

Great pho

By CharlotteDayTripper |

Great waitress. Very accommodating. Really helped personalize our meal. Big takeout business. Extensive menu with Vietnamese options. Great food!! Excellent pho! Ambiance a little bright.

Average chinese food

By Sweet0000000007 |

We had take out for dinner. We order the orange mixed and spring rolls. The food was ok, very typical american chinese food, don't expect more.

THE BEST PU PU PLATTER!

By J.Brent |

We were staying at the Hampton Inn right next door to 3 Chefs so we stopped in for lunch. The staff was amazingly friendly! We were the first customers so we were quickly seated by the friendly host. The placed had a slight hint of bleach (which was a very welcome scent to me), and the wonderful aroma of Chinese food. The place was spotless clean. We had the Pu Pu Platter as an appetizer. WOW! The Chinese BBQ ribs were almost a meal in themselves..they were so tender and were basted in this sweet sauce that had hints of cherry and pineapple (absolutely the best!) We also had the Vietnamese deep fried spring rolls and they were out of this world as was the chili vinegar dipping sauce that accompanied them. The steamed pork dumplings on the platter were moist and succulent! My stomach is literally growling thinking about it right now. Then we had the sweet and sour chicken and cashew chicken. OMG! We chose brown rice as the side- all I can say is if you're looking for some really good Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai food- then look no further! You will not be disappointed. Our waitress was fluent in Chinese, English and Spanish and she was so friendly and helpful!

Cheap and good Chinese

By Halkidis |

Located downstairs of Hampton Inn & Suites hotel. Not that fancy place, but actually we had a nice visit. Friendly and fast service, food was tasty and fresh and reasonably priced. Easy to come here for example with FREE Metromover. Station is 2min walk away.

Quick and easy

By Pellimjr |

Cool chinese place, mostly take out orders but confortable tables, nice service and great food. I recommend the sweet and sour chicken

Pretty good

By maana16 |

Staying at the Hampton Inn and Suites and had dinner at adjacent 3 Chefs. Not exceptional - but reasonably priced and generous portions. Friendly service.

Chinese restaurant with good food.

By CDAussie |

Located below our hotel. No booking needed and was not too busy. Suzana was our waitress and she was really lovely. We had dumplings, kung pow chicken & meat ball pho. Great food, especially the pho which we understand is the chef's speciality. This venue does a huge amount of takeaway as well. A great and filling meal.

Affordable meal

By Tomer Zadok |

A restaurant that is trying to catch up to much together. They prepare Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and also Ramen soup is on the menu.. The food is Ok avarage or below. The prices are low and the service was good.

Very good and reasonably priced

By 123leftright |

We were travelling from Canada and we had the chow mein and it was very deiscious! It wasn't comparable to any I've ever had before! Would recommend!

Chinese Food

By Sunj Look InyKoijjJkiiki Mmchhar |

Good Food, conveniently located next to our hotel so close that it looks as if it is part of the hotel, fast service and good helpings. In all makes for a great meal We were there for dinner with friends and enjoyed the meal, decided to try another place the next day more expensive not half as good.

Tasty Asian Food --- Fast Friendly Service

By AtulBravo |

I visited this place while staying at the Hampton Inn Miami Brickell as this was next to the hotel. The food was a flavorful mix of Chinese and Vietnamese fare - served steaming hot. The staff is friendly and helpful. And I found out that they deliver to The Hampton Inn on Brickell,

generous portions but dodgy tummy the next day

By Jo |

There is lots of variety and the portions are very large for the price. The food tasted ok at the time but I was up in the nice with a dodgy tummy. Can't be sure it was the food from here but it was all I ate that night. It's located under the Hampton inn hotel so very convenient.

Dinner

By Toyin |

Went here for dinner, delicious food and reasonable prices. We had beef and broccoli, special fried rice and chicken chow mein. The special was nice; the hostess recommended it. Lots of people came to collect take-out food. They also deliver, I saw their menu at our hotel.

Dinner special

By TTheresienfeld |

You can get a great dinner special at 10-12$ per person, including soup, egg roll and main dish. The food was fresh and good, but the staff was not very attentive. It is located near the metro mover stop Brickell.

Generous portions and tasty

By Richard4188 |

This is a small restaurant located in the same building as the Hampton Inn and Suites. There are about 20 tables and the restaurant does a steady carry-out business. We enjoyed a late lunch here while staying at the Hampton Inn. We shared an order of shrimp rolls to start, and they were rich and flavorful. I ordered the cashew shrimp which came with generous portions of perfectly cooked shrimp and lots of cashews and was very flavorful.

Quick Chinese For Lunch

By George H |

This was so close to our hotel the Hampton Inn that I would not even call it a walk just go out door and there it was. We had egg rolls, spring rolls and a variety of soups. Taste was good for all our food. Not extraordinary but filled the bill and our stomachs

Great Takeout!

By phud33 |

Takeout through Uber Eats. Ready early. Exactly as we ordered. Hot. Delicious. Love the fried dumplings. Wings disappeared quickly.

total disappointment!!!

By NinaG212 |

hoping to have a nice Xmas dinner with my small family. I ordered through Postmates. the Peking Duck was ALL FAT and soggy skin at $48. I would have been happy to pay more for something decent. the shrimp in lobster sauce was abominable - just a few shrimp in disgusting watery clear sauce the fried rices were decent, and the steamed pork dumplings were very good..But, considering the rest of my $180. meal order, would never ever order from them again

We stumbled on this restaurant by chance and how lucky we were. They serve wonderful appetizing food at moderate prices. The service is friendly. Our highest recommendation is -WE WILL BE BACK Try and you will be convinced. John and Carol

Very good food!

By Jonaira C |

I went on vacation to Miami and went to this Chinese restaurant the same day I arrived. The food is very good and the employees are very nice and friendly. I would definitely visit again.
