Nice facilities. Good focaccia, fresh burrata. Oversized gnocchi. The Risotto was missing its usual creaminess and intense satisfying taste, don’t order.

Great place for date night. The best part are the drinks and apps. Order the zucchini flowers!!! I had the vegetarian white pizza which was good. Interesting blend of potatoes and eggplant. Surely go again!

Fabulous food and service by Eric. Burrata and meat and cheese appetizer amazing. Focaccia bread more like Indian naan bread but soft and tasty. Entrees European size - all excellent. Great service too. Highly recommended

With COVID-19 going on, we prefer to dine outdoors, and this place has a really nice, relaxing outside patio. The day was kind of chilly, but they had a couple of tables with fireplaces in the center. Even though we weren't seated at one of them because they were already occupied, I could still feel a little warmth from them. Our waitress was perfect! She had the right balance of being professional, friendly, and attentive. The food was delicious! We split the Caserta pizza and a Caesar salad. The pizza had the perfect crust that was light, chewy, and slightly charred. The toppings were high quality and super flavorful. The salad was cold and fresh. It was obvious the owner took great pride and care in his restaurant. He went around to each table to make sure we were all satisfied and to chat a bit. With him being from Italy, we ended up talking to him about Milan and discovered they make an Italian regional specialty called Gnoccho Fritto which we've never been able to find in the States. He was so incredibly sweet and generous and had his staff drop a small batch for us to try and it was delicious! It was such a unexpected treat that brought back fond memories of Italy for us. The next time we're in Dallas, we're definitely going back to have the Gnoccho Fritto properly with a full charcuterie and lardo if they have it!

A wonderful welcome and service with Giogo, succulent pasta, you can feel the Italian touch, well done. Finding a good Italian restaurant is complicated here, we found it. Thanks to the team

My experience at 400 Gradi was wonderful. Giorgio gave us a top tier dinner experience, explaining everything about where the ingredients for the dishes came from and even teaching us some Italian words. I would 100% recommend this place if you happen to be in Dallas!!! 🤩🤩🤩

Highly recommend this amazing place. Great place, fantastic food, very friendly as well. Well impressed

After two visits in the last two weeks, first time for lunch and second time for dinner, I am convinced that this new and exciting restaurant located very close to the historical Cathedral Guadalupe, Crow Museum of Asian Art, Dallas Museum of Art, etc., will be a favorite of Dallas arts patrons, visitors, and residents. I highly recommend their Rigatoni con Ragu Maiale (Pork Belly, Egg Plant and Salted Ricotta) and their award winning pizza, Margherita Verace which the friendly server Brian suggested. You will want to try all their pizzas and salads which we did since we were a party of 8. Our server Isidoro was very attentive. Both Brian and Isidoro made sure that we tried their homemade special hot oil which definitely enhanced the already great tasting food. .

400 Gradi is a true Italian experience. My fiancé and I came here to celebrate getting engaged. Our wonderful server was Giorgio. Giorgio is knowledgeable and honest about food and wine selections. The owner Mr. Zee was a fantastic host as well and made our dining experience a very special moment. This establishment is authentic and the ideal place for a romantic date night. HIGHLY recommend getting the Pappardelle Ai Funghi and replacing the house made Pappardelle with their hand rolled gnocchi. The Gnocchi is like a pillow in your mouth! The pizza was also one of the best pizzas I’ve had since being in Italy. Do not forget to try their desserts either! We will be back every trip we make to Dallas in the future.

Food was great! The AC was broken but the owner came to our table to personally apologize. Will return.

All the pasta dishes are first-rate and the wine/cocktail list is unique. Pizza also looked delicious.

We stumbled upon 400 Gradi while walking the streets of downtown Dallas. It is so new it wasn't on TripAdvisor -- but it should be! 400 Gradi is an Australian company which has been slowly opening new restaurants around the world. The Dallas location is their first in the United States. The vibe is cool. Yes, they serve artisanal pizza, based in ovens right before your eyes, but the attention to detail is superb. The service is helpful and professional, yet relaxed and charming. The cutlery has a unique "tarnished" look. The plates are an interesting pottery. The water is served cold out of pottery jugs. The decor is minimalist hip with an outdoor seating area with neat flaming fireplaces. But the food -- that's the really impressive thing. The simple salad contained quinoa and pear slices along with "designer greens" and an understated yet complex dressing. We both finished every bite. The Margherita Verace pizza (according to the menu, awarded the "world's best pizza" in 2014) was exactly right, with light, flavorful crust and bright tomato notes complementing the fresh basil and Fior Di Latte cheese. We would recommend you give this place a try.

Overall a pleasant experience outside. The cesar lacked anchovy and the taglatelli carbonnara was a bit too al dente but those were minor issues. The margherita pizza was burned and had a kerosine flavor that you get with burned food. Next time we would order crispy but not burned. Also, there are lots of little flies that make wine no longer vegetarian. Needs covers for drinks.

The atmosphere was pretty, and the food was really good. The staff was also great and took care of everything and polite.

A very short walk across from the Dallas Art Museum. A very good selection including Italian styled pizzas. While I prefer a thin crispy pizza crust, I enjoyed the food; ambience; and service especially from the 400 Gradi attentive and personable manager “Zee”🍷

I have eaten here twice. The first time was a takeout pizza (supposedly their award winning pizza), which was good. The second time, we ordered the same pizza and the gnocchi. The results the second time were dramatically different. The pizza was like a wet sponge, with the crust dripping in water from sauced that had not had excess water removed. Sauce had no taste, the cheese was not fresh and not melted and the crust was undercooked. But, unfortunately, the pizza was the best part of the meal. The gnocchi was pure mush, without any real texture and the tomato sauce was lifeless, without any seasoning at all. One would think that they could at least add salt to their tomato sauce. We were hoping that this might be a new discovery that we could frequent, but I won't make this mistake again. And by the way, some of the staff were rude and untrained. I don't understand this attitude when restaurants are struggling to survive. I want to support restaurants, but they have to at least put their best foot forward.

If you like fabulous daily homemade pasta, and pizzas in a brick oven, come here and you’ll be very satisfied. We were staying in a local hotel and found this GEM. The waiters and bus staff were also extraordinarily pleasant. Delicious delicious delicious. Very reasonably priced as well.

Great lunch venue with excellent waitstaff and especially delicious homemade pasta. The hazelnut mousse is phenomenal! Wonderful flavors and beautiful.

Great location if you live or work downtown. Nice atmosphere and a GREAT waiter and friendly hostess. However, the pasta and pizza was not as good as some other spots around town unfortunately. Very good lunch spot for downtown, but I will not be thinking about the pasta for days like I was the last time I had pasta at a restaurant in the Design District. Long story short, solid choice for lunch but did not knock my socks off.

Went for dinner, reasonably simple menu but everything we selected was excellent, my wife had tagliatelle bolognese and the ragu was as good as anywhere in Italy. Great sever in Michael who was really chatty and knowledgeable, fairly modern setting and this was reflected in the menu. Don’t miss a chance if in5his area

Christmas lunch with coworkers and we all had delicious pasta dishes. Service was excellent and the hazelnut mousse especially nice. Definitely will come back on my own dime!

I loved the food and service at this restaurant. Our waiter, Izzy, was very helpful and very attentive. We started with the meatballs, burrata and fritto misto. The meatballs and burrata were amazing, but the fritto misto was just okay. We shared the pappardelle ai funghi and their award winning Margherita pizza, which were delicious. The only real negative is the restaurant charges New York prices for their valet. Supposedly, the first 2 hours were free, but we ended up paying $15 for the extra half-hour of parking. It left us feeling taken, especially since their website says “we validate parking”.

Lovely dinner, excellent, friendly and knowledgeable service. We had pappardelle al fungi - it was glorious! I’d go back if we were staying longer.

My wife and I are big, big fans of Neapolitan pizza, and after relocating back to Texas, I went to see where the VPN certified pizzerias were in town... 400 Gradi is one of two VPN pizzerias in Dallas (at the time of this review), and it definitely stands head and shoulders above the competition. The vibe is very cool and laid back. High ceilings with tasteful touches give the restaurant a spacious, but still comfortable atmosphere. The wine list is simply superb, and will surely fit any palate -- we found a really great deal on a Langhe nebbiolo that was exquisite after a bit of time to open up. So the centerpiece is rightfully the pizza. The dual ovens are on prominent display, and for good reason -- you don't earn VPN certification by having ordinary equipment or techniques. The margherita pizza was voted best in the world in 2014 at a competition in Naples, so you KNOW it's going to be amazing -- and it was. You can taste the 00 flour, cooked to perfection, topped with just the right blend of tomatoes, fior di latte, and basil. The harmony was perfect. Don't miss the appetizers, either. The mozzarella fritte is quite an elevated dish. Five stars to the entire team at 400 Gradi. Our service staff were very courteous, and we appreciated the owner coming by to share his stories about growing up in Milan, and then living in Naples (the guy is the real deal!). This very well might be the best pizza in DFW -- do yourself the favor of coming to experience it!

These days, it is very rare to find perfection in service and food but 400 Gradi has done just that!! Was staying at the JW Marriott next door and this place popped up as nearby. We found a gem! Everyone from the front of house, servers and bartender were impressive. And the prices were very reasonable for the high quality of food. We started with crab cakes and calamari. Both were fantastic. I had to order their award winning PAPPARDELLE AI FUNGHI. There was a special tonight where you could add a salmon filet for only $8!! One of the best pastas I've had! And to top off the meal, their Ferrero Rocher gelato was fantastic! We enjoyed it so much, we came back the next night for a night cap and gelato. Highly recommend!

Came twice to this restaurant and the food was good both times - nice pizzas and amazing crab cakes to start. Very good wine choice and usually good service. Got served by a girl one visit (twenty something moved from San Diego ) she was lovely and very helpful - second time we got served by an older Italian guy and well! He was very ott and tried a little too hard in my opinion (not that bad to start with) he then once paid proceeded to come back to our table and say the tip only went on one part of the payment. Basically told us we did not tip enough - was astounded at this clear rudeness. Food is nice and most of the service is great but this one guy ruined a lovely evening

Great atmosphere, much more than a pizza restaurant!!! Service was excellent and my entree of seafood of pasta was spot on!!! Wine selection is outstanding and appetizers awesome. Look forward to next visit, This two month old restaurant should do really well.....the waiters assistant kept water glasses filled and added a level of service not often seen in most food establishes today...

Really enjoyed our food here. We got the calamari, burrata, lobster risotto and the mushroom pasta dish. The fried zucchini in the calamari was fantastic! We thought the calamari was a bit chewy. The burrata was good but pretty lemony or herby for a burrata dish. The lobster risotto was good but I would recommend sharing. It was VERy sharp with the cheese. The waiter gave us a recommendation on the wine and it was great! Try out Aviary. Overall, enjoyed it but would choose something different next time we are in town on business.

Giorgio looked after us. Great service, excellent food, wine, atmosphere. We sat outside in pleasant surroundings!!!!!!!!!!!!

We always enjoy an evening on the patio with a drink and fantastic Italian food. As always the service was excellent and the staff was outstanding. We were seated promptly and created by our waiter within 5 minutes. They were extremely busy but we certainly did not lack for service and again, the food was fantastic. I would highly recommend reservations. Can’t wait for our next night out!

Some of the best Italian we’ve had outside of Rome. Loved everything we ordered. Very friendly staff, can’t wait to go back and try something new.

We went twice - the 2nd time was a lot better, think we just ordered better. Pizzas are nice, but ask for them to be well done. Pasta comes with a lot of cheese so be mindful what you order. Staff are friendly.

If you are looking for authentic Italian brick oven pizza, this is the best place in town! My family and I have been coming here for years and I have recommended this place to all of my friends. Amazing food, delicious cocktails, and beautiful ambiance in the heart of Dallas. Their brunch menu is spectacular as well. Give it a try, you will not leave disappointed!

Okay, the 3/5 is probably a bit harsh - it’s probably a 3.5/5. The food is alright (we only had pastas), we found them a bit rich and very cheesy - but that is just personal opinion. The pizzas looked a lot nicer - so if we go back would have a pizza instead. The garlic bread was lovely actually. I also found some of the staff quite annoying, I know they were trying to be friendly but constantly asking where we are from and why we are in Dallas was irritating. Was just trying to eat my dinner! Prices are up there - we didn’t drink but if you wanted a bottle of red be prepared to fork out $40+ for the cheapest bottle without tax. Restaurant has a nice decor.

Great service, we sat at the bar. Chic vibe the beef carpaccio is a must try. Also, you had me at Peroni on tap!

Food and wine here is so good and authentic. This is one is our favorite places to get Napolitano pizza. Their menu has just enough variety to be interesting without being overwhelming. Highly recommend. Worth stopping in if you've not tried it yet!

Superb pizza crust, just enough cheese and very interesting side additions: oil, Parmesan & red pepper! Best I’ve had in Dallas!
The nest cannoli I have ever tried
I am really very happy that I have visited this restaurant! I swear that I was craving cannoli for days after having it here - I have never tried better cannoli and better Hugo cocktail! Cannoli we’re from limoncello, Nutella and pistachio… please please, order it. My second favourite was pasta (Pappardelle Ai Funghi)… but everything else was equally delicious! Btw when I came here, I decided to ask the waiter for recommendations instead of choosing by myself ☺️… he was super nice, same as was the manager. There are also many people from Balkan who are coming to eat. :) 100% if you are in Dallas, go to eat here!
