We arrived in Seattle early on a Friday morning in September. There were 4 of us on our way to the cruise port.Too early to check in so we were winging it,hoping to find breakfast before our trip. We found good reviews on the 5 spot, so we decide to give it a try. Well, we had quit a bit of luggage between the 4 of us, which was kind of an issue. We walked into the restaurant and explained the situation with the bags. The manager showed us were we could put them ,I was a bit concerned as they were near the door. The manager assured us she would keep an eye on them! After all that we were hungry.. We came to the right place ! The food was delicious and plentiful. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. A perfect start to our vacation. Next time I am in Seattle I will be back!

Easter Sunday, we'd been to church. We went to visit the SPU campus (our friends are alumni). We wandered Queen Anne's looking for a place to eat as our hunger grew. There are a number of Cafes, which were more about coffee and didn't have great seating capacity (and it was chilly outside). We scored big time when we stumbled onto 5 Spot. Really good food. Our server was efficient if not very friendly (I think they had a LOT of work...the place was very full). I enjoyed my Sonoran Scramble. Sadly, they serve Pepsi products rather than Coke.

Stopped into Five Spot Cafe for a quick work lunch and ordered the Reuben with tater tots (a little treat for me). The sandwich was great-looking and very tasty. The rye bread was excellent, and overall it was a strong Reuben. I would have liked a bit more Thousand Island dressing, but that was an easy fix. I also ordered sauerkraut on the side since I’m a big fan. Service was excellent — they checked on us, and the food came out quickly. I also really like how they’ve redone the restaurant; it feels refreshed and welcoming. My friend had the ham scramble with a biscuit. He said the scramble was good, though the biscuit was a little bland. Highly recommend the Reuben. Next time, I might swap the tots for a side salad to keep it a bit lighter.

We had a marvellous breakfast here-Lobster Benedict special with the best hollandaise sauce I’ve had outside of France & great Belgium Waffles. Nice ambience & friendly attentive staff. Highly recommend especially if staying in the Queen Anne area.

We headed to 5 Spot for breakfast on a Sunday while in Seattle for a weekend; received great service, nice wait staff, and a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed it so much, that we popped in the next morning and ordered the exact same meal. The Monday service was poor and the meal was not prepared as well. The waitress was inattentive and the breakfast order was incorrect....wrong toast, no butter, bits of cheddar tossed into a dish that called for goat cheese, juice left out on a counter not served until the end of the meal. Sunday was a 5 star experience. Monday was a 2 star experience.

Always love this place for breakfast! We walk up about once a month for Sunday breakfast. Food is better than diner food - you won’t be disappointed! Sergio was our server and he is excellent! Always great personable service. Food is out incredibly fast as well.

One of the nicest diner experiences I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere in the place is amazing with delicious food. I went for the French toast which was pretty perfect and a very generous portion. Our server was super friendly and was completely at ease handling a busy place. If you’re in Seattle I’d highly recommend checking this place out. It’s also very close to Kerry Park and Meredith’s house from Greys Anatomy!

Crowded place, so we assumed popular. We were seated quickly. Like many similar diners, it’s pretty loud. Tables are very close together so walking to our table with a cane was problematic. The server interrupted our ordering to give us a 3 minute lecture about how Coke and Pepsi are the same. He did this again when I asked for more water. The lobster Benedict was well flavored but the English muffin was soggy. The pancakes came out hot but were a bit rubbery (couldn’t cut it well with a knife).

The Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon was very tasty. The service was very attentive. We are so happy to see 5 Spot re-open and look forward to coming for dinner!
Great food & service
Tried this place just by looking for something close in the neighborhood we were visiting plus we like “diner” food. My wife had the pork ribs, my grandson had the chicken parmigiana and I tried the cheesesteak sandwich with tots. All were excellent. Good service too and a clean, open area diner. Highly recommend!
