This is a nice place for Brunch, with a nice crew who take care of all your needs. Victor from Ciego de Avila was our waitress, and we enjoy his good Cuban humor. Good variety, but too many people that make the place looks small. Good life music. Very good for family reunion.

We went to 94th Aero Squadron for brunch to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We’d been there in the past and it was nice, nice view of the airport, planes taking off, peaceful, pleasant atmosphere, good food. Unfortunately, our party of 11 was put in a back room which appears to be a party/reception room, very cold and white with neon pink lighting. Nothing like the main part of the restaurant. We got to have brunch while listening to loud 70’s disco music-never did we imagine brunch while listening to Superfreak... The omelette station was good and had a decent number of options. The waffles were cold and hard. Some looked like chocolate waffles but they were simply waffles that had been burnt. All of the food was cold, the ceviche was almost completely calamari, the shrimp was so cold it was hard to peel, the crab legs were soggy and didn’t seem fresh at all. They had a table with coffee and danishes - right in front of the bathroom doors. The kid friendly options were breakfast or Mac-n-cheese, baby corn dogs (small and soggy) and chicken nuggets (small and hard) - not worth $16.95 for a 6 year old. The roast beef and pork were good but again cold. The desserts looked better but are in the same room as the seafood so the smell is a little offputting. I do have to say that our server did a great job. Mimosas always full, plates removed quickly, very friendly. The quantity of food is there, breakfast, “hot” options, salads, fruits, seafood and desserts, but the quality was lacking as was the ambiance we went there for. No one left feeling it was worth the money.

excellent, great food, amazing staff fantastic atmosphere and not that expensive Vuko & Stefan in particular really looked after us really well

Down here in Miami for business went to this restaurant for there Sunday brunch and boy was it good . Almost everything you could think of was there . The mimosas were perfect and the food was simply amazing . Brunch is served from 10-3 and it’s definitely a place to try at least once if not twice . If you leave hungry it’s your own fault .

We visited here for dinner while staying near Miami airport after a cruise before traveling home to the UK. I have never written a review good or bad but felt I needed to after this experience. This place promises a great atmosphere on arrival, feels like a museum. Great view of the airport and departing aircraft from the front windows where we sat, headphones at each table to listen to airport traffic control. Sadly the experience was let down by unfriendly and rushed service. Our waiter hardly spoke giving us the impression he wanted us gone. When he did speak he was surly to the point of rudeness. This thought was supported by the main courses arriving when we were still eating our shared starter and the bill (check) given without asking for it, including the obligatory USA tip. The food was good, differing portion sizes depending on what we ordered. I’ve given it 3/5 for the food, location/views and the atmosphere.

I visited this restaurant for my birthday since I received an incentive of “buy one, get one free entree” for the occasion. I have been to this place on multiple occasions, including brunch, and have always liked the decor and atmosphere. However, they went above and beyond for my special day. The hostess seated us immediately in a booth so my young daughter could feel comfortable. Our waiter was excellent: never intrusive and always available for our every need. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly for both my husband and I. The ambiance was cozy, vintage, inspiring, with the added perk of watching airplanes zoom by. The staff went even further: they surprised me with a beautiful birthday song with a sparkler in the key lime pie we ordered. What a way to top off the night! Thank you so much for making this Miami native feel special, welcome and loved!!!

We only came in here last minute as we were starving after a long flight and the restaurant was nearby our hotel, but wow did we have a good time, amazing buffet, nice outdoor space, just what we were looking for!

For us, 94th Aero Squadron restaurant has been always the place to go because of the great athmosphere, great service, great food, every time we have a bussiness lunch or friends and family, but not tonight, we ordered on line due to the covid 19 situation, placed the order, paid on line, tip and all, and received confirmation, we went to pick up the order, they said they didn't receive the order, but would prepare it right away, we waited for almost 1 hr, (ice cream in the car melted completely) on top of that made us feel like we were a scam, and ask us for proof of payment, we did, again another proof from the bank debit card, which she showed to someone inside. (The lady at the front was the only person dealing with this situation) , no manager came to help her or to talk to us, give us an apology or explain what happened, didn't even offered a dessert not even extra bread for all the hustle. she didn't know what to do. Maybe it was a computer problem out of their hands, that I can understand, but no one from managment to come and talk to us? and we felt like they thought we didn't pay for our food(who ever the lady was talking to in the office or kitchen or wherever she was going with our cel phone as proof that we did pay). Not a good experience tonight.

The View was fantastic the wine and food was good, the price was soso , the service was a little slow for lunch time. Business area to busy

I went here based on reviews of the food and was not disappointed. The salmon with almonds in a mustard sauce and baked was good as were the accompanying mixed vegetables and the spinach bed. The accompanying potato was baked thoroughly and served with appropriate condiments. Service was fine and the Martini large and delicious. The dining room was largely unoccupied at 6 PM and the crowd did not pick up during my meal. Too bad! The ambiance is dated and needs maintenance. Parking is not near enough to the main entrance and the signs warning of car thefts disturbing.

Have passed by this restaurant so many times whilst staying in Miami however, this was my first visit. It was such a unique experience and the food/service was fantastic. If you have transit time at the airport or staying overnight definitely pay this restaurant a visit.

Perfect location, atmosphere, food AMAZING, service Jorge busboy super attentive and the food great for the value. I've been with my wife today but after we finish, we went to the front to make a reservation for a birthday next Sunday 10 people, but Mrs. Cassanova was very rude when we ask for a table next to the window an also called to his assistant to tell us the same this was unnecessary.

I remember going with my parents in the 80’s and watching the planes land and listening to the control tower. It has lost some of its charm and I consider it to be somewhat overpriced . French onion soup is still a must and good variety of steaks and other meats. Still brought back memories.

This was the highlight of our trip! With a bad experience at any other restaurant the day before, this was a refreshing experience. The customer service was excellent and food was delicious. Our kids loved the environment of watching the planes take off and landing. The restaurant is also pet friendly and the owner was amazing! He stopped by to see how we were enjoying everything and truly showed he cared. When our lunch was brought out, he brought out a special meal for our dog who we consider a huge part of our family! That was such a nice gesture that we will forever remember. The food was perfect, and everyone at the table finished their entire meal. When we are in Miami again, we will be coming back with more people! Thank you for a fantastic meal and experience.

I met two colleagues at their suggestion for a business lunch. We all ordered the buffet. The food was, well, not great. The selection was wide (beef, chicken, fish, rice, potatoes, pasta, salad varieties, fruits). The staff was really great, our waitress being very friendly and very attentive. The cafe con leche and flan we all ordered after the buffet was quite good. Just everything else at the buffet was not very good. Lots of patrons, I noticed, were there because it's a buffet - endless visits, and I guess that is what many folks appreciate.

This is a fun restaurant for all the reasons noted in the reviews, and the food is good, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Service however, on both this and our last visit, is a bit slow and inattentive (our sense was that more wait staff were needed, not a problem with our server per se); our server even forgot during the meal that we had ordered desert and were still waiting for it. But there's another shortcoming that struck us as a bit odd, though easily corrected. The restaurant is supposed to be reminiscent of a WW1 aerodrome, or at least WW1 aviation more generally. Many years ago, we went to another 94th Aero Squadron restaurant and that's exactly the way the restaurant felt, with music and military audio from that era. The Miami restaurant this visit did at least have Glen Miller playing in the bathrooms, but there was Latin music playing in the restaurant and Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass playing in the parking lot. All good music, but between lacking service and an incongruous ambience, the restaurant fell short of exceptions. The prime rib sure was good though. :-)

For an aviation and steak fan this is a fun spot. The steak was perfect temp. My wife had chicken and was delicious. Service was excellent. Price was reasonable. We did the Miami Spice special which included appetizers, main course and desert for $39. We live in the Keys but would make a trip up just to go there.

Stopped here last night for dinner while in town for business. It was close to my hotel and had good reviews. I was disappointed with the beer selection. There are so many great small craft breweries around, they should feature some of these. The atmosphere is pretty cool, military theme (you can guess that from the name). I sat in the lounge section, nice window view but it was too dark, they need better lighting. Service was pretty good. The bartender handled everything but luckily it wasn't very crowded so he was able to stop by often. Overall the food was good. Started with the Spanish platter, great choice of meats and cheese, I love manchego! I had the beer cheese soup and thought it was ok, nothing fabulous. For my main course I had the prime rib, great choice. Cooked perfectly and very flavorful, a good piece of meat. I would definitely recommend this place.

Good service. Rapid and friendly. Salmon dishes were abundant lacked seasoning. Steaks also abundant and lacked seasoning as well. Prices reasonable! Average in my opinion certainly far from gourmet! Will return occasionally!

Had a wonderful, relaxing dinner with my husband at this unique restaurant! We had to move our reservation as we were unwell, and they graciously accommodated our request. The service was exceptional and the lamb dish ordered was quite tasty! We had a seat by the window and was able to see the plans take off and land!

This unique restaurant places you at the Hat in the Ring squadron's World War I airbase. It is fitting because ace pilot and Eastern Airlines president Eddie Rickenbacker was a part of the 94th Squadron and was part of the Miami aviation scene in a big way. My visit was on a Saturday for lunch to catch up with a longtime friend. The food was perfect, the view of the airport was fabulous, and the service good. We did not have to wait for a table (I did make a reservation ahead of time through Open Table). The food came in a reasaonable time and the table service was attentive. You should go!

A gem of a find, this place is unique and offers a different type of dining experience. The staff were warm and welcoming and I loved the military style uniforms. The views of the airport runway were excellent and the memorabilia all around the place is very interesting. However, the food was mediocre in visual appeal and taste and a little cold on arrival to the table. Service was swift and efficient and this place certainly will be my rest stop whenever I have extra time before a flight.

My wife and I have been here twice now on layovers at MIA. We would normally eat at our hotel or have room service but now we make sure we stay on the south side of the airport so we can eat here. 94th is really big so getting a table is not a problem and they serve pretty late. Our last trip here we went around 8:30 pm and they got us in without any problems and the food and service was outstanding. The WWII theme is very unique and well done throughout the restaurant. I always have the prime rib and it is done perfectly every time. Don't overpay at the hotel when you can go here.

94th Aero Squadron has been around for a long time. My husband and I had our first date here and we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary this December. Don’t let this hidden Miami gem go unnoticed. The food is great and the servers are friendly and professional. The shrimp scampi is delicious and the server even asked if I’d like to substitute the pasta for rice or mashed potatoes, and al dente vegetables. I did and they were wonderful. The only downside to 94th Aero Squadron is getting there. The County seemed to dismiss this property when they redesigned the entries to the expressway and the restaurant is right next to the Dolphin expressway, so if you haven’t been there before it is a bit confusing. Don’t let this oversight keep you from trying this fine restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

We dined at 94th Aero Squadron on a Monday evening at 6:30 pm. The restaurant was uncrowned, there was no wait for a table and the service was fast. The decor is “charming,” maybe a little dated and not high end, but it had sort of a European feel and great views of planes taxiing at MIA. My wife and I both had skirt steak. It was delicious and the price was very affordable. Access is tricky and our Uber driver got lost several times trying to find us. I recommend this restaurant for something a little different and would dine her again when at MIA.

Outstanding service and delicious food! What a great finding next to Miami Airport! Found this gem on trip advisor and was hesitant because of the mix reviews, but to our surprise the place is clean and unique. The service was top notch and the food guys... the food was delicious! We would go again if in the area!

Went to the 94th Squadron tonight based on trip advisor reviews. We had an excellent meal while being entertained by listening to the air traffic controllers and watching planes land and take off at a wonderful historic setting. Absolutely a gem.

This was our second visit to 94th Squadron for Sunday Brunch, and once again, it did not disappoint. The buffet offers an impressive variety. There is truly something for everyone. Our waiter, Alex Vázquez, was incredibly attentive and courteous, making the experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be returning!

The menu is nothing unique but everything had a feeling that it was stored too long. The Mahi Mahi was mushy and not firm. Green beans were cold. Baked Potato did not melt the butter. The Pinor Nior by the glass was flat. The Key Lime Pie did save the day. Maybe a cook change is needed. A shame as there is not much competition in this area by the airport.

Very good food and service. We visited the place for a birthday and they gently cut our cake and cheer up the birthday girl.

We were in Miami for a high school sailing regatta and planned to have our team dinner at California Pizza Kitchen in Coconut Grove. Since we arrived later than planned, we decided to eat closer to the hotel and checked to see what was nearby. We discovered the 94th Aero Squadron and what a discovery it was! We called to ask about the wait time for a group of 7. We were told they would take care of it and to come. We were surprised as it was a Friday night about 7:30. When we arrived we were excited. It was built like a French Chateau during WWII. We were greeted by a beautiful and friendly cat. We thought we better check the menu as it looked like an expensive place to eat with 6 teenage boys. We were pleasantly surprised to see the menu prices were moderate. Our table was ready when we arrived. The table was overlooking the runway at Miami International Airport. There were headsets that you could use to gear the pilots talking in the cockpit as they were landing. (Big hit with 16 year old boys). We all ordered something different and everyone’s dishes were amazing. The fresh bread to start practically created a fight! The smallest dish was the rack of lamb. The largest was the end cut of prime rib. It was the best I’ve ever had. Cooked perfectly and large enough to cut and share. The mahi mahi was so large it had to be folded over to fit on the plate and tasted amazing. I strongly recommend any of the meals we had and the 94th Aero Squadron in Miami or any of the cities they are located.

We were there with a Groupon and it took a while to explain what I was able to order form the menu because of it. It turned out that we were over charged with the balance of the meal because they said that we had not followed their restrictions, but we were finally given credit at the register. The food (Churrasco steak) was very well presented and very tasty, but the whole experience left us a bit unimpressed.

My wife and I were there for anniversary on December the 10th for dinner, The food was good, but the server was not professional at all we asked for halve a giraffe of sangria and got a whole pitcher instead is kind of halve giraffe looking container anyways as a final surprise. It was $38.00 dollars with not even sliced fruits in it, he never even came around to ask about service. I guess since the gratuity is automatically charged, they don't really care to go above and beyond.

We went specifically for stone crab. We always try to find a place that serves it when we’re in Florida, as it’s next to impossible to find in Massachusetts. The stone crab, and everything else was fantastic! We will definitely go back!

First impression: I thought this will be classy, old school, very well established restaurant. First impression were the reception. There were 3 ladies that looks like high school student. They were dressed up like they were going to the mall. And we were dressed to the nines. They speak to us first in Spanish I told them I don't speak it. Food was ok. Nothing really wows me that I couldn't get from the local bar. We went to the lounge after and have some drinks at the bar. First impression was it was so dark. They broke some glasses twice when we were there and the bar tender stumbled with our drinks and spilled it. I noticed that the two bartenders holds the glass on the mouth and not on the side. To think that they were touching the trash, the rags and heaven knows what else. I don't think they were training the people. I can fairly say I have better time at Flannigan's. So, I'm not going back. At least I can say I've been there. But the view is beautiful. There is that.

Very good cuisine featuring well prepared classics with excellent ingredients. Service excellent and Friday had a fantastic hispanic live band. Nothing to fault. We’ll be back

a fun place and different for miami, it is located near the airport and is set in a lovely old world type building... a bit of history for the historians, fun place, decent food and bar, u can sit with head phones on and listen to air traffic control, also pretty gardens

I have had wonderful expeiiences and totally forgatable ones, unfortunately the bad ones outnumber the good ones. Is not 5he first time but I had to walk out of this join, yes that’s what has become. This location is oustnding the setting is as good as any in the area without too much bru hahah and the restaurant is 75 % empty all the time even with promotional coupons and all kinds of cards discounts. From what I can gather maybe the bar keeps it going and profitable but I would not be cought there at any price since to my taste the atmosphere is not comfortable and very questionable. In my bad expetience tonite I questioned what happened? Last 2 times were very diferent and while nothing oustanding were acceptable plus. Wala!!!!! I was told there is new managements What progress Shame on me for not understanding that 5his is a loosing proposition The food is not great just averaged and overpriced for the quality and I notoced that someone that do not the undestand wine has made the wine list. There are restaurants that you can rely on thier stability at any price and quality and that’s what make them successful, on this case you never know What makes hanberguer chain successful is that if you like it or no you know what you get in NYC Moscow or Sydney is the same garbage or manjar depending on your taste but alway what you expect

We ate here for dinner and the food was fantastic. I had the filet mignon and it was very very good. The staff took care of us. We loved the decor and the army decor was a nice touch.

The Host was nice but the food was not hot and a ripp off for the price, I had good experience for years but this time was so disappointed that we really believe something changed in ownership or chitchen staff

We had a long layover in Miami and decided to eat lunch here. What a cool place! They offer a nice lunch buffet with many choices and desserts. The food was good. We also ordered a stone crab appetizer that was AMAZING. The staff is very friendly and each table has headsets you can put on to hear the air traffic control tower at Miami International Airport. We really enjoyed ourselves and definitely recommend it as a unique experience.

The location of the restaurant was pretty cool, the food was overpriced and not very good. The service was OK the manager was very friendly, but overpriced for the quality of food.

As soon as we found out there was a 94th in Miami, we knew we had to go. The food was delicious. I recommend the Salmon. My partner had the prime rib and it was also delicious. The only problem I found was my mashed potatoes were kind of cold. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive. The atmosphere, of course, is part of the reason to go here. You can watch the planes take off from the windows in the restaurant. You can also listen to communications going on with the tower. My sound was very garbled though.

Enjoyed a unique experience at this restaurant which is located right across from the runway of Miami International Airport. Farmhouse setting with ample free parking available on site. Has several memorabilia outside and inside which was very interesting to watch. Tried the headphones inside and listened to the live relay from the air control tower, which was awesome. Service was extremely friendly and courteous. Food choices on the menu were limited but adequate. All the food items ordered were delicious. Got to see some turtles and a huge Gecko in the wild around the pond just outside the restaurant. Had a great time watching the live action with several airplanes at the Miami International Airport. Got a bonus of seeing a goods train run on the track which is right in between the restaurant and the airport runway. Pricing was reasonable considering the overall experience. Would certainly very highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is seeking a unique dining experience.

I went here twice on a whim while on a short vacation. The first night was after a horrible experience at a car rental place. When my son and I arrived at the 94th we were exhausted and famished. It was late on a Sunday. We were seated right away. The waiter was gracious and sensitive to our mood. The food was great! I had the honey mustard salmon with crushed pecans served over wilted spinach, a side of carrots and green beans and a baked potatoes. My son ordered off the kids menu and got chicken tenders with fries, a lemonade, and ice cream. We enjoyed the food and cool location so much that we returned for the same exact meals a couple of nights later. Food was just as good, the service was just as gracious, and watching the planes take off and land ( not to mention the various stray cats by the pond) was a lot of fun.

Food portions generous but too oily. Crunchy pecans on salmon were mush. Restaurant is so noisy conversation is impossible. Not a pleasant dining experience

This is a very affordable restaurant with a great menu. It has a wonderful bar and the views are great. If you stay in a hotel near MIA, go to this restaurant.

Food was awful. I started with a tomato and avocado salad. The tomatoes were underripe and hard as a rock, not to mention flavorless. Then I had the ribs, which were full of gristle and tiny bone chunks. It came with veggies that were cold, and a baked potato that was overcooked. I wouldn’t return.

We dined here on a one night stopover at the nearby Hilton and enjoyed it. The cocktails were especially delicious. Nice views of the planes too.

Had a good time, however all the food that we had no one offered it to us for takeout. So what happened to all that food? I believe it was wasted. There's to many hungry people in our cities, states, and country to throw away food. It's a sin to waste so much food. Next time the food should be distributed.

We decided to take my mom to eat at this place for lunch and were told that they were having brunch at $35.00 a person. The salad section was not varied and selections looked poor. The lasagna was mushed and destroyed. The chicken had too much fat. The Salmon was essentially destroyed. So I decided to go to the breakfast side and look around, there was nothing left. If you are paying $35.00 the least they can do is keep the food hot and replenished up until brunch was over. However, there were sausages everywhere. The waffles were uncovered, cold, and stiff. Additionally, the surrounding tables where the food was placed was absolutely dirty and all I was able to have was an omelet. When I asked why was it so dirty the response received was "It's almost over". I asked another worker and He just looked at me and said, "Oh I don't know". This restaurant should be cleaner, food should always be hot and plenty regardless of the time you come in and lastly, there should be drink options for those of us who do not drink alcohol like mimosa's included on the $35.00. This restaurant is definitely not worth the money nor the time. I feel robbed of my hard earned money. Stay away from their brunch time.

Twice we have eaten here when we have traveled to Miami, they have nice booth seating, but prefer to seat people near the large and very cold windows. Service was exceptionally poor this time. Took a very long time to get noticed, ordered a drink which was slow in coming. Food was good, but combined with poor service, won’t go back.

We went on a Sunday, which meant it was a set price buffet. We weren't given a menu or told how much our visit was going to cost until we received the bill. The food was good, and the unlimited 'champage' was nice but when we received the bill, it was quite a shock, considering we didn't eat much and we went with the intention of mostly watching the planes (and we couldn't really see them from where we were sat). The service was good however, and the place was quite interesting

Manual remember when this was a vibrant chain. Several locations in south Florida alone. With a view of MIA, and the opportunity to listen to ATC, this makes reminiscing easy. I ordered the beer cheese soup, which the chain was known for. It was good. Wandered over to the bar, and found the dining and bar area feel like two separate places, which is ok if you like that. The bar also feels like it is owned by the locals. That can sometimes make visitors feel less than welcome. Interior looks fine, but the buffet space was not broken down, which made the place look unprofessional. The exterior space with props such as transport vehicles needs help. The place seems able to survive. Glad I stopped by, but would not drive out of my way to revisit. (It almost makes more sense to visit this location and watch airplanes takeoff and land).

I've been to 94th Aero Squadron before, specifically around 2018 or 2019. The location near MIA is perfect for planespotting, not to mention the fact that they have headphones you can wear that are directly linked to MIA's air traffic control tower. The food was fantastic. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and a lobster tail with mashed potatoes. However, the main thing holding this restaurant back is the service. Don't get me wrong, our waiter was super friendly and helpful, but the main issue was that I ordered a Sprite twice, and it came out flat both times. I don't know if it was an issue with the restaurant's soda dispenser or something else, but I ended up opting for a Coke instead. I'd recommend 94th Aero Squadron to anybody interested in aviation and looking for an enjoyable dinner experience (as long as you don't order a Sprite. I learned that the hard way).

We have taken a cruise around Thanksgiving for the last few years and always make 94th Aero our Thanksgiving dinner. Good classic cuisine, impeccable service, conveniently located. Highly recommend!

We were really surprised by this restaurant. The building is quite old and there are military tricks, weapons and an old plane outside. We ordered the Argentinian Skirt steak with Chimichuri sauce. It was excellent. We did the 3 course meal for $39. Great value. We started with the Escargot for me and shrimp cocktail for my husband. Dessert was Key Lime Pie. A real highlight was listening in the head phones to Air Traffic control at MIA.

Certainly not your usually dining experience. The service was exemplary and the portions we’re ample. The taste was very good but not great. We had the salmon, very tasty and moist. The sides were average. The chef has a very heavy hand with the garlic in the mash potatoes, however our waiter was very quick to replace with a baked potato. I would certainly return and recommend this location.

Had a night layover in Miami so we decided to come here for dinner. Had good reviews and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was fun, the food was great and service was fast. We had a great view of the airplanes taking off and it was cool to be able to listen to flight control.

Had been to the 94th Aero Squadron many times before from Dec 1979 to Oct 2006 (my retirement party) with good experiences. Thought I would try again so I bought a Groupon and went the Saturday night before Mother's Day. As soon as I entered I noticed it was cold in the restaurant. After being seated I decided to go back to the car to get a jacket that luckily I brought along. As leaving I asked the man who seated us to increase the temp in the room, He said he would check into increasing the temp, but he didn't do anything but ignore me. I asked the waitress to increase the temp, but she said she couldn't do anything. I will say that the food was good and came to the table hot. We couldn't enjoy it and couldn't get out of the restaurant fast enough! People at other tables also complained of the cold atmosphere.

Worst place ever, waiter spoke Spanish immediately and war veteran father extremely disappointed. Thought we were going to enjoy celebrating parents 50th Golden Anniversary and waiter spoke only Spanish. So not waste your time here, huge disappointment and spent over $350.00 zbd they can't even speak English! So sad!

Best experience we've ever experienced. 5 🌟 all the way. Food was amazing, staff was on top of there game.

I have to say. This place use to be a good dinner spot but tonight it was not. First off it was my aunts birthday and there was a large party to wait on. We only had one waitress and she seemed the entire night like she did not want to be at our table. Messed up several of our orders. Left stuff off. Put extra stuff on bills. Was very rude about things. And the food itself was just ok. The service has really gone down hill. And the food right there with it. Very disappointing.

We were staying at the Hilton Miami Airport Hotel and the restaurant was a short walk. Had a before dinner drink at the bar and the bartender was great. Ate in the dining area. I had the scallops and they were very good. My wife had a sea food dish that I can't recall but she said it was very good. Good service. If staying at the Hilton we will be back.

The hostess was nice. She was attentive. However, when they sat us, they just served us mimosas without asking how many, who was going to drink. Waiter never explained how brunch worked, where anything was or where to go. Waiter was barely seen. They have a time limit on how long brunch is. There was no customer service whatsoever. For as pricey as it is there wasn't anything great about this place especially for brunch. The bathrooms were super dirty.

Wow. I’ve been going to these restaurants all over the US for years and this one is just awful. The servers don’t speak English. They were out of there best steak on the menu at 4:00 in the afternoon. The Newyork strip they did have wasn’t fit for a dog. Fat and grisle. Very expensive and awful meal.

Now, I’m not sure what eating in the dining room is like...but the buffet is just like Golden Corral. It’s the least amount of food I ever ate a buffet- why because I was afraid to eat some things. It’s crowded. People are fighting for food. The ice cream is melted. The cookies are burnt. The edible things were the churassco and the pasta station, and that is because it’s prepared in front of you so you know no one picked up food with their hand. The positive is the planes. My kids really liked seeing planes and wearing headphones. The loud live music is festive but distracting. The neon lights shining on the buffet make it difficult to see what you are eating. The food is sporadically placed all over the restaurant. Strange. Not high end. Golden Corall all the way with Planes. Still enjoyed myself cause of the planes. Will I be back? Never

The 94th Aero Squadron restaurant overlooks the runway of the Miami International Airport so that you can enjoy a fantastic view of the planes taking off and landing. There are headphones available for you to listen to the air traffic ground control and you can see cargo trains pass right in front of your window while you dine! You will feel like you are back in the 60s reminiscing with your grandparents about World War I. We recently attended a holiday lunch party with former coworkers here. There were about 15-20 of us. This place is great for groups, parties, and private functions like weddings, anniversaries, children's parties and birthdays. They have pre-fixed dinners ready in a buffet style. The prices per person are reasonable from $38 to $54. You can have steaks, seafood, chicken, pork, salads, many different side dishes. There is something for everyone. They also have Specialty Drinks and desserts. We enjoyed steak and chicken, which were pretty good. We picked potatoes as a side fish and salad. Service was good. We had fun playing games and talking about old times. There is a private parking lot for guests. I enjoyed my time there.

We took our grandson who attends UM and he chose this restaurant. It was a lively place with dancing in an area away from where we dined. We enjoyed everything about the food and the service and the ambiance.

The 94th Squadron is still a good option in the Miami International Airport area but it has seen better days. The interior clearly needs an update; the lunch buffet, although it is not expensive, lacks of variety. They used to coal cook cuts of meat at the customer's choice and preference; not anymore. With its history, the nice airport runway view and location, the Squadron deserves an improvement effort, both in its furniture and wall painting, as well as in its menu.

The portions are very large, and the service is fantastic. I highly recommend it. Plus, you get views of the airplanes landing and taking off.

Brunch THEY’RE BACK!!! My husband & I have been waiting over 15 months! This is absolutely our favorite restaurant for Sunday Brunch. Our Host, Juan Alcantara is THE BEST! Greeting us at the door, escorted us straight to our reserved table, no waiting, brought our drinks & made us feel at home! Amazing food! Always fresh! A variety of stations of delicious, fantastic food! For every taste! The food can’t be better, the prices are fair and the selections are abundant. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner choices. Refreshing cocktails! Chilled OJ, Champagne or Mimosas! I am always delighted with my meal! Everything about their Brunch is great. We had a great table by the window overlooking MIA! You can watch planes land/take off. They even have headphones for listening to the air traffic controllers. Our waitress was awesome! Hostesses, servers, the whole staff are always so friendly and kind. Always efficient, happy and polite. The staff also works as a team in bringing and cleaning up your food. The whole experience from start to finish was great! We had such a great time! As usual! Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a pleasant way to spend a Sunday.

We had a wonderful server and our food was great. I had the Salmon and it was tasty enough not to put anything sauce on it. The other dish ordered was Shrimp Scampi and was done perfectly, best he had even being on a cruise for 11 nights. The view is watching airplanes land and take off. They even had earphones to listen to the control tower.

My husband is an airplane nut and enjoyed watching the cargo planes take off. The food was good and menu offered a nice variety. We sat at the bar and received friendly service. Bartender did disappear a couple of times for an extended period which was a little frustrating.

Save your money and eat at Panera. Ordered a $60 ribeye med rare that came out blue to rare and was cold inside. Waiter never checked on our food. When he took our plates and asked how the food was i was honest and expressed our disappointment. He left for awhile and I thought maybe he would comp dessert or he was speaking with mgmt but he came back with a bill including a 20% gratuity. He copped an attitude when I didn't give extra on top of 20% charge. Dessert was the best part of meal. The mojito's weren't bad. Took forever for a bill. I used to love this place and recommended to anybody I knew travelling to Miami from Canada but has clearly gone downhill.

This was about 1mile from our hotel on Thanksgiving. They had a modified menu with a turkey diner special. It was a lot of food, but the food just didnt taste like I expected it. I did enjoy the pecan pie! Should have got something else for dinner. Has a good view of the airport and even saw a train. They have earphones that connect to the MIA control tower to hear what they are saying.

This restaurant overlooks the runway at MIA and this is its big selling point. If you're in the window there are headphones so you can listen to ATC. However the location does not justify the prices, which I thought were high for average food. $130 for two was about $60 more than it was worth in my opinion. I'm afraid I really can't recommend it based on price alone.

We were overnighting at a nearby hotel. The hotel recommended this place. I had the opportunity to try the churasco steak. Delicious. Excellent service. Great view of the Miami airport and runway. Wonderfully attentive service. Hard to get out of the parking lot back to the hotel. The taxi driver was frustrated. Very appealing atmosphere both in and out. I don't know why it wasn't more busy than it was. I would certainly return.

This is a lovely restaurant with a wonderful American Air Force theme. As a retired Air Force Major, it was wonderful to enjoy a restaurant with this theme with delicious food.

Reservation at 2:30pm for four people. Upon arrival advised us we only had 30 minutes to eat. The food was cold. $40-50 per person!! There was nothing left/ Nothing to choose from. The music was so loud in the dining area , we couldn’t speak to each other. Stop taking reservations after 2:00pm if you know your limitations on food!!!! The lady (our waitress was the only good thing about this place). This place used to be so classy!!

We have visited this restaurant many times over the last few years and up to now have never been disappointed. However both our visits this time, left us feeling we would not be returning. Even though we visited early in the evening on both visits, the service was rushed and unprofessional, with one of the waiters unable to communicate effectively as we didn’t speak Spanish. Food was very average for the price. Venue is still good fun and worth a look round, but they seem to be concentrating on booked events at the expense of the ordinary diner.

94th Aero Squadron overlooks the runway at Miami International Airport. We were able to see the world's largest planes landing. The food was delicious! We requested the Early Flight menu that I already knew was available. It wasnt offered until I asked. The menu wasn't as extensive, but there were plenty of choices that included appetizer/salad, entree, dessert, and coffee. The cost was much less than the regular menu. We were in Miami to cruise and the Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon provided us transportaion to the restaurant. Recommend highly.

Ambience is good, Nice view of the airport and can listen in on the air controllor through head phones, though not all the headphones were working. We had the lunch buffet. Food was good. But was disappointed with the bread section. All the bread and rolls were stale. Good coffee and dessert selection.

There is history that goes along with this restaurant. It sits right near the Miami International Airport where you can see planes landing and departing. My steak was cooked to perfection. My husband's pork chops were a little rough. Overall good experience.

We were staying in downtown Miami for the weekend and looking for a fairwell brunch for my brother's graduation. Most places we contacted ahead of time wanted us to go through their sales department for reserving a brunch for 16 people. After contacting a handful of places that wanted a deposit, or place a minimum amount, we found 94th aero squadron. Restaurant staff were happy to book our reservation for 16 without any additional requirements. The brunch was great. There were plenty of lunch and breakfast items. Everything we had was delicious. Will definitely go back again.

Enjoyed the food. The staff were friendly and helpful. They gave us a seat by the window and made sure we enjoyed our time. The food was top class would recommend this place.

Halloween private event on Friday night 2018, party was great, even we where pack, the food was excellent I had Churrasco, mash potato with vegetable, the service very friendly and fast, later I met with some friends at the bar to listen to live music, the bartender very friendly, the only problem the A/C was not working correctly a little hot, specially when you are drinking and dancing, the price for the food and drink average, the restaurant closed at 1:00am, and we left at 145am, the crew was cleaning and picking up, and no one told us to leave or kick us out, Yes I will go back again

we had 3:30 time slot seated waiter got drinks we were never to it was ok to get food . We got food disappointing turkey not what it was, ham was good ,green beans warm but not done rolls non at first we were leaving they came out with them desserts good . Refills I never got one, ice was tasty For what this cost i was expecting more disappointment. Im not one to complain never again .

Last night I attended our Holiday party at the restaurant. The food and service was great. The staff where very helpful and treated everyone nicely. Elsa the catering manager was great she made sure everything ran smoothly and that the room where the event was hosted looked great. Definitely will do party here again next year.

Excellent food & service. We particularly liked the escargot with garllic and a flaky pastry. Didn't like that I could see and hear the cook and the waiters chatting since it was supposed to be an intimate anniversary dinner. Wish that the theme was played up more.

The restaurant in nicely appointed with plenty of free parking. The staff is professional and very attentive. They have two buffets one for breakfast and another for dinner. You can go to either or both. The food is well seasoned and varied. Not like most buffets where it’s bland. It’s also a great value at $45 per person. With bottomless mimosas

Been wanting to try this place the past 3 weeks as we have been here on business. Finally made it and it was worth the wait. This place sits right across from the runway at Miami International Airport and the view from almost every seat in the house has a view of the planes. The food was amazing!

Fun to watch the planes at the airport out the window. Food was good but really pricey for what you get. Wait staff (6-7 of them) were just hanging around the grill area which was unusual to see. Our waiter was very nice and answered all our questions regarding the food options.

Its been awhile since I went here, but when i did it was awesome. I had a party for my teenage son's birthday. The buffet was truly delicious and well supplied, the atmosphere is unique and the warm fireplace made it cozy. the staff were excellent.

I’ve eaten here many times over the years. Almost always order the prime rib, never a disappointment. Tonight the sour cream/horseradish sauce didn’t taste right. It was sweet!? I told the waitress and she said it was made off site with some additions, she didn’t know what. I told her to please bring me some horseradish and sour cream and I’d make my own. She then said they didn’t have any horseradish in the kitchen. I immediately asked for the manager. Manage never showed up, but within five minutes I had my sour cream and horseradish is separate dishes and made my own cream sauce. The prime rib BTW was excellent. I don’t know what to think. Was the original sauce a mistake or some horrible attempt to change a time honored sauce. I mean, who wants to eat a sweet sauce with their prime rib? Maybe some snowflake from god knows where, but not this boy.

Excellent food and great ambience. I have been here several times but is even better now. The service is very good and happy hour is exquisite!

The food and service here was amazing. We ordered the filet and they were cooked to perfection. Lovely view of the airport, yet nice and quiet inside. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The shrimp was delicious. Plenty of parking. We are so glad we relied on the trip advisor reviews and stopped in.

One of my favorite childhood restaurants was the 94th located at the St. Pete/Clearwater Airport, so when I noticed a location near our hotel, we just had to go! The food was tasty, but a bit overcooked... drinks were strong... desert was delicious... and service was good.

We were staying at a hotel nearby and this was within walking distance. We had 4 adult and 3 preteens with us. We took a while to order because have two celiacs. The restaurant was able to accommodate. The food oonce we ordered came out quite quickly and was pretty good. Our server, Alina, was very knowledgeable and made sure everything came out right. I recommend going for the seafood. There was a three meat stuffy that was also very tasty.

Horrible service. We called today Sunday at around 11am and asked if we needed a reservation and the lady that picked up said no. We got there at 12pm and I said it was a party of 2 and a toddler, mind you i drove from homestead. The incompetent front boy said they couldn't accommodate us since you need a reservation, I told the guy we called and they specifically told us we can go without a reservation. The guy's response was "things change in 1 hour" the guys name apparently is Marc. Poor service, not willing to accommodate something that was their mistake. By the way there was another old balding guy who is also rude and has no people skills, he was arguing with other people as well. Never been here and not coming back. First impression is everything. Train your staff properly and take accountability.

So nice place for American style meals. Specially lunch buffet is $14.99. With stakes and ham and Turkey..

The restaurant was ready for us and had excellent food and key lime pie for dessert. Had coffee available. Even provided some music and some of us danced. We got stuck in rush hour traffic and were over an hour late for our meal but they had it ready for us. Great staff and service.

We ate here two nights during our four night stay. It is a great experience and my teenagers loved it. Some tables have headphones tuned into air traffic control which was fun. You sit overlooking the airport and a small lake that is illuminated at night. Food is great and servers very friendly. Strongly recommended

The restaurant needs an upgrade ASAP. The place is old and has a funky smell. We sat by a window. The windows had dust. There was dust on the window panels. Ordered a churrasco steak medium. The steak was cooked well done. The steak was bland. The white rice tasted nasty. It was so bad. Very pricey for bad quality food. Only the caesar salad was good

I was there as part of a group of 25. Our menu choices were limited. My salmon meal with vegetables was excellent. The complete menu has many options. Service was very good.

had not been here for a while so decided to visit again for nostalgia. Older style restaurant with proper service. fine dining at a reasonable price. Had a pleasant early dinner with a friend. Everything we had was very good. Prime rib was not the best I've had but all else was excellent.

Love the charm of this restaurant, the food and the value. Service a little slow but friendly but a little chaotic on Sundays for Brunch.....Best deal in town. Unlimited Mimosas a plus .

Excellent food, it si like eating un a museum ...you can ear the airport tour at your table with earing ! Very funny and service is 5 stars!

We visited the 94th Aero Squadron for Sunday brunch we were a party of 12 and were place in a big room at the end where AC was not very good and it was extremely hot at moments, the food was not good some of the warm food was cold, it was not tasteful as it was in our previous visit about two years ago, the desserts were not good and the variety was limited, it is a tradition here that paella is accompanied by maduros, fried plantains, the one there was t, pricey and not good, we will reconsider going there again as is not how it used to be.

I would never go back for dinner since our skirt steak and lamb was average at best and so was the service. We heard that the Sunday brunch was much better and it sure was. The variety of food was exceptional. We truly enjoyed the wide variety of food such as king crab, shrimp, lamb, pork loin, seafood rice medley etc. It was all very good to excellent. They also had a great deal of breakfast foods to choose from as well. The desserts were delicious as well. I would highly recommend the brunch on Sundays. The decor was nicely done as well.

Won't disapoint if staying south side of the MIA Int'l airport. Watch the planes take off and land just yards away! We had the stone crab claws (in season) and the French Onion soup and both were great. Good wine list too.

Went here for newyears eve dinner. Had a reseevation. There was a fixed new years eve menu with great choices. Beatiful ambience good music nice staff. A little expensive but very nice. Overall very nice experience.

Location was unbelievable. Had a picture window facing the airport and seeing the planes land and takeoff was neat. Service was just ok. Food was pretty good. Dining area was very dark and hard to see your food. Price for food and service I thought was very high.

Do you like airplanes like I do? This is one of my all time favorite restaurants. The menu choices are quite huge everything from seafood to steaks. I can only speak for the steaks. You can order a full course meal. My all time dish is the cheese soup. Which I highly recommend. I recommend calling ahead so that you can reserve one of the tables that features a headset that allows you to hear the traffic from KMIA. If you don't want to, then you can sit in the bar area by the window and enjoy a good drink and cheese soup.

We came here for the brunch buffet. Excellent choices and quality. The service was outstanding. We will definitely eat here again.

The service was fast. the food was GREAT!!!. The ice tea, was not sweet, I had the shrmp and crab salad delicious. It was worth the money. My date had the onion soup and salad. he enjoyed it. the asthmophere was lovely.

4 guys from Cincinnati area land in Miami & head straight to the 94th Aero Squadron restaurant due to the quality review we've read. This particular Saturday was a buffet only day, which played right into our hungry hands. Even the pickiest eaters could find something they like... chicken, beef, pork, seafood; all four food groups were well represented. And the salad bar was a meal by itself, with fruits & vegetables of all kinds. I personally feasted so much on the main courses, but my cohorts tell me the desserts were every bit as good. And seated next to a huge picture window invited us to watch the planes take off. And (I know, "quit beginning sentences with a conjunction "Mrs Reardon used to say in 4th grade English class) the decor was cool, with the WW2 pictures & motif. For less than $17, this was truly a wonderful lunch & phenomenal value. Make it a mandatory stop when you are in town.

As always, the offerings were top notch. Super service and quality. Despite road construction in the area, access to the property remains easy.

We’ve visited this restaurant every year before our cruise (5 years) and this is the first year they have let us down. Slow to non existent service. Food was delivered with attitude. One meal was so cold it was inedible and has to be replaced. Had to ask for more water. All this would be somewhat forgiven if it was busy but there was only 5 tables.

Excellent food. I had fish, my colleague had steak, both were excellent. There's a great view of arrivals and departures from MIA international, and you can listen to live ATC from the airport also via headsets at the table! Service was friendly. I would go back,

The only reason we ventured out from our Miami Beach home to this restaurant was that my husband loves to watch airplanes, and this restaurant claimed to be a place to do that while you eat. And it lived up to that claim! We were seated at a table by the window with a great view of the airport, one of the country’s busiest, with takeoffs and landings of both passenger and cargo planes. We had to look a few of them up as we’d never heard of some exotic airlines. Additionally, a headset lets you listen to the air traffic controllers. (I couldn’t understand much of what they said, but my husband liked this a lot.) I’d advise coming here during the daylight, for an early dinner, lunch or brunch. When the sun sets, you can’t see much. The food was fine. They offer the Miami Spice 3-course meal for $39 all year. (You can’t use your Groupon when you order the Spice meal, as we found out too late.) The prime rib, a dish we hadn’t had in years, was pink and delicious. The Argentine skirt steak with churrasco was a bit dry. I loved the beer cheese soup, which is one of their specialties, as an appetizer, and my husband had a nice Greek salad. For dessert we had key lime pie and cheesecake, both of which we enjoyed. We ordered a bottle of Albariño, but they were out of it, so we had a Sauvignon Blanc. With tax and tip, this set us back $150, but you could obviously do this for less without the Spice menu. We took part of both our entrees with their veggies home because 2 apps, 2 entrees and 2 desserts is really too much food. Our server Vania was excellent. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. I’d come again, but for lunch.

The food reminded me of chow hall food from my Navy days. Probably better, but still brought back memories. The restaurant was just awesome. Loved the layout, and the military artifacts. Great photos. I just enjoyed the hole atmosphere.

Visited this restaurant to meet a friend for lunch prior to flying transatlantic from Miami. We were seated by the window which had a great view of the airport runways and also a small pond filled with wildlife which entertained our granddaughter. The server was pleasant and helpful. Food choices were plentiful but they don’t really cater for dietary needs. When I asked about gluten free options I was told steak doesn’t have gluten. I really want more options when I eat out. Anyway I opted for a bunless burger and the chef made me a side of veg to accompany it. Two of our party had salmon and the other had pork chops. All of the food was nice. My husband and granddaughter shared cheesecake for dessert and said it was delicious. The reason I’m giving only 3 stars is because the restaurant smelled damp, and didn’t look particularly clean in many areas and the bathrooms were dirty, plus the fact that in this day and age they should be catering to those customers with dietary needs. Would I return? Probably not!

I surprised my wife with dinner here for our fifth anniversary, definitely made a good choice. This was our first time eating here and it did not disappoint. The food was great and reasonably priced. The location to me was very cool, watching planes as they land and take off from John Glenn International was a unique experience while eating. We both ordered steak and although hers was a little over done (she likes medium rare) we were overall very pleased with our meals. We were then treated to dessert for our anniversary, the pumpkin cheesecake in my wife's words "amazing" we will definitely return here for a Sunday brunch.

A women’s group I belong to had s luncheon here. The place is a bit dated but the buffet lunch was really really good. Great for a group get together.

Was here for an organizational dinner meeting. Server was pleasant. The bread was very good luckily because the food was terrible. Cesar salad overloaded with dressing. Fixed menu/no chore dinner - plate of rubber cheese corn, tough skirt steak, boring vegetables and not so bad mashed potatoes. Chocolate cake was dry & left an after taste.

If you are near MIA on a weekend you should try the brunch at this restaurant. Expect a fair price for such a big selection and food quality.

We had been there about one year ago for brunch. I prefer being waited on so this was a better experience. We had reservations and were seated immediately. We were close to a window and could watch the planes taxi in as we ate. The waiter was excellent. He was very attentive and efficient. Our food was for the most part excellent. I like shrimp scampi, however, this shrimp was not as good as I have had at another restaurant. The French onion soup was delicious and so was the escargot. The salad, bread and veggies were very good. Their key lime pie was very nice as well. The restaurant was well attended. There is a large parking lot which had many car in it. We enjoyed listening to the flight tower announcements through ear phones provided near each table. I really liked watching the planes taxi in. The cat outside the front entrance was friendly and well fed.

Upon arriving, parking on the front of this place is full. As you make your way towards the back, there should be a two but instead it’s only one lane as people park on one side creating a hazard on top of Miami people can’t drive to well. Waited outside and at least they had a roof, chairs, fans and water, not too bad. Upon getting to our table, there was a lot of people walking around, patrons and employees, just too many in my opinion. We sat down at our table which was tight as the table was meant for 4 people, we were 5 adults so the establishment decided to put a chair at the end of the table which was tight to say the least and also another hazard in the walkway of patrons and servers. Good was mediocre and not cooked correctly. Some foods were over cooked and dry like the yuca, skirt steaks and roast beef. It seemed like every meat we tried was dried because of over cooking. Not sure if this is normal here because of the older Hispanics liking well done meats or what but it’s not everyone’s tastings. A wider selection of food should be considered. This place felt disorganized and we more than likely won’t revisit this establishment. Disappointed 😞

The ambience sets it for a nice dinner right from the entrance. The decoration is creative, delightful and perfect for the location, right in front of the airport! The service is excellent, very attentive. Their beer cheese soup is the best soup ever! And after all these years, taste and quality have NOT changed! Food is delicious!

Really enjoyed the war/aviation theme and decor plus proximity to airport to watch planes land and takeoff. For the price, the food was pretty average. Ok options to choose from but could be more upscale/better food quality. Did like that they offered lots of protein options and decent sides. Music was overly loud and made it hard to have nice conversations over brunch. The mimosa were way too strong too; needed more juice to balance out flavor.

This place need some serious remodeling, looks sooooooooo old, the light is atrocious you feel trap in the 70s and not in a good way. Im pretty sure they haven’t change a single thing since the day they open this place, perfect place to take your very old great grand parents or grandparents We went for Sunday brunch, they have a good amount of food options… the quality is ok… the service was terrible the waitress never came to refill our mimosas

My wife, teen son, and I were in Miami taking care of some things at the Southcom HQs and wanted a unique lunch. I’d just seen a 94th Aero place in Atlanta (Dekalb) last week so I decided we’d visit the one by MIA. I’d never been here for lunch and was impressed by their lunch buffet spread. It would put some Sunday brunch layouts at other places to shame. There were many options and they were all of good quality. My wife and I both went that route at $16.95 each - a great deal. My son went with a burger. We sat by the window overlooking MIA and even put on a headset to hear the tower talk with the pilots. Great food and service at a good price on a unique environment. Highly recommended.

Over the past few months, I have visited the place a few times. I brought my date there and it was a perfect place, she loved it I also brought my friends from out of town. We had a great dinner, super service, and super food. The new uniforms are a nice touch. The manager even gave us an outside spot so my friends could film an interview. The place is top-notch. Think the prices are going up quite a bit but, the food and service is still amazing. I will be back again

Words can't express how much Me and My Husband's friends and some family members had here on Sunday August 27th 2017. The food was great and my husband and I rented out the private venue for our guests. We had the Polynesian Dancers as well as the Junkanoo's come out and entertain our guests. My husband and I selected the baked talapia as well as the rosemary chicken, rice, broccoli with cheese and assorted pastries. We will definitely return. I also added photos of the Polynesian Dancers and Junkanoo's. This was truly an Awesome Celebration for our Friends that are truly our Family...#🙏🏽❤️👑

On a recent trip to Miami, we dined at the 94th Aero Squadron restaurant. This establishment is on the edge of the cargo plane runway at Miami International. We saw a few planes take off and they have a headset near the table which allows you to listen to the air traffic control tower at times. Not as neat as I thought it would be. We had booked a table through Open Table and arrived 3 minutes late. The restaurant had no reservation for us, but seated us at a table by the fireplace. We had requested a table near a window. Our server was attentive but had a little language issue with some of our questions. We enjoyed our cocktails and I ordered the Fillet. It was large and perfectly prepared! Although it took at least a half hour to prepare our meal, we enjoyed all items ordered and our waiter was attentive to our needs throughout the evening.

We have been visiting this restaurant for many years and always enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance. In fact, we visited two days in a row on our last trip to Miami. The second day, though, we had a horrible experience and do not plan on ever coming back. First, there were insect parts in my water and on the table. Second, I ordered the Filet Mignon and was served a small NY strip. It was definitely NOT a Filet. The size, shape, and texture were completely wrong. I did not choose to send it back because the steak was still tasty, but I did bring it to their attention because I felt we should not be charged for a Filet. (The price difference was like $5, it was more the principle of the thing). Well, not only did the server argue with me, and basically call me a liar, but he then proceeded to bring the manager to argue with us, and bring out a plate of RAW steaks in the wrapper. Not sure what that was supposed to prove but it was embarassing. Over a $5 price difference on a $100 meal. My husband and I were disgusted with this experience and will tell everyone we know that this restaurant is not worth visiting.

Great food, service and was so much fun watching big international flights coming in around dinner time. Nothing like eating dinner while watching an A380 & 747 land and takeoff.

Great venue to host your company's holiday parties or get together. Our staff had a great time. Food was very good and the sangrias were plenty and of good quality. The room was just perfect to eat and dance the night away. Thank you to the catering staff for working the details out with us. We will do it again. Thanks

The quality of the food was excellent and the manager Juan C was very nice to accommodate the seating by the window even though the restaurant was full

Had an event here and it went great thanks to the amazing servers. Every time I needed something, they would make themselves available. The food was great and everyone enjoyed their churrasco and chicken combo!

Went for dinner had filet mignon my friend had the ny strip both where cooked to are liking and yes they where the real deal some people try to get things for free by complaining for things they think they know about and I’m a Butcher at a meat market

Aside from the cool themed restaurant, there was a bit of dissapointment. The location felt dated, service was mediocre, dinnerware and glasses were not clean, and needed to be replaced, and food was average, in fact dessert wasn't good at all. I wanted to love it, but cannot. Perhaps a visit on a different night is needed but not really an immediate revisit.

So, kind of unique place right alongside the main runway at Miami International airport. Had a window seat overlooking the runway and the restaurant provides headphones so you can listen to live air traffic control. I had the beer cheese soup and prime rib options, both of which were very good.

This was one of our first ventures out to a restaurant since being isolated due to Covid-19 and what a delight.. The whole place is spotless and all employees wear masks as do diners until seated We had strip steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables which was perfect, and chicken Alfredo which melted in your mouth. The service was outstanding and everyone was friendly and helpful. This was our first visit and certainly not our last. It was a very enjoyable evening.

I used Opentable to make a reservation at a local restaurant. So far so good. When we arrived , we were informed that they were completely filled and that they could only seat us in the bar. Why was this not noted when I made the reservation? While waiting to see the table, the hostess left us standing at the podium until we finally gave up and left. When I returned home, I received an email from Opentable that I had been naughty and not showed up for the reservation. When I wrote back that we had in fact shown up and the why we left, they wrote back that they would make sure that the restaurant had accurate records. REALLY?? That's what is important to you? The restaurant's records? Both the restaurant AND Opentable need to review their customer service protocols.

If you are staying in and around the airport and don't want to eat at your hotel, then jump in a taxi couple of minutes and head to the 94th, its alongside the Southerly runway. You get a great view over the airport watching flights land and take off but the best bit is the food is great, excellent choice and cheaper than the hotels. It offers a wide range and between the four of us all really well cooked. Service was great no rushed service all in all a good night out.

Wow, what a selection. Waffles, eggs Benedict, prime rib, crab legs, oysters, lamb shank, chocolate fountain, fruits, cheeses...it’s endless. The brunch includes Prosecco & bellinis. All with a view of the Miami International Airports runway...plus a train goes by every now & then. I love this place.

We were rushed to get lunch before our flight at MIA. We ran into this restaurant and said we would have the buffet. We started with fresh slices off the roast beef but they were so tough we went and tried the other meats that were in the warming trays. All tough or dry. We hoped that the dessert would be tasty before we had to run. The desserts were all sub standard and boring. Worst buffet ever - well at least tied with a few others.

Food was absolutely outstanding. Atmosphere is great. Service exceptional and the headphones to listen to ATC at Miami was a neat touch! This place is great. View of Runway 9/27 so you see all the big birds arriving and departing. Would recommend.

First time here and had an amazing experience. Alex, our server gave us good recommendation and loved it. I would come back. 😁

Stopped by this restaurant only for a coffee, which was just a short walk from where I was staying at the Hilton Blue Lagoon Hotel. Quite a unique location for a restaurant, coffee was lovely, as were the staff I met. The restaurant is situated just by the side of the runway of Miami International Airport, so a superb location for plane spotting.

Our first stop on our Miami Spice tour did not dissapoint. The staff was excellent. I had the fried calamari, bbq ribs and key lime pie. The calamari were crisp yet tender to chew. The ribs were huge flavorful and tender. The mashed potato was full of flavor and the vegetables were crisp. The key lime pie was delicious, the glaze was a bit tart yet perfect to offset the sweetnes of the pie. They were very generous with the portions. Needless to say we plan to return soon.

Stumbled on this restaurant on a Sunday evening. Not only was the food excellent but it was not overpriced. There was a set price menu of $39 for good choices of appetizer, entree-- including French rack of lamb and Argentinian style steak-- and dessert --including flan-- and coffee. This did not include tax or tip, of course. Groups there seemed local judging by the fact that there were at least 3 birthday celebrations going on.

I was here maybe 10 years ago...but now this place change for better, Food, Place and Service. This is a very nice place to go with your family and friends, Music very good too. But special the service is excellent. Keep like that.Good customer services always must be the first in any Place,..

Our night was magical. This place is so lovely the view from any table is amazing I love it. My husband took us here to celebrate our 1st year of married. The waiter he was so great so helpful even brought us a cake to celebrate with us. That was so nice, unfortunately I can’t remember his name. But The food so delicious, Im not a soup or onion person but the onion soup there was really good we definitely coming back to enjoy some time in the lounge because the mojito not words to describe it.

Hotel recommended this restaurant and it was fantastic! Headphones provided to hear the Miami Airport Traffic Control. Food was fabulous!

This place is too much fun...it sits across from the Miami airport so you see planes passing by constantly and headphones allow monitoring of air traffic. The food is delightful! I recommend the buffet highly! The day we were there, they had a teriyaki salmon that was the best I've ever had! And their deserts are fantastic as is the salad bar!

Had a great time here with friends! Liked the atmosphere and f&b. A big thumbs up to our waiter Alex for excellent service!!

We enjoyed it here. The prices were a little higher than we are used to but the food was very good. Staff was friendly. Liked watching the planes.

Located in close proximity to Miami airport, 94th Aero Squadron is a restaurant we stopped in purely down to its proximity to our hotel as we made an overnight stay. Coming off the back of a trans-atlantic flight, we were after something quick and easy, and it looked like it would fit the bill. The decor outside implies it is a militaristic themed restaurant, but truth be told this is a minimal thing. It's real gimmick seems to be the view of the airport runway, though sadly we didn't get to see much of it. The restaurant is modestly sized, neither small and 'cosy' or vast and daunting. Probably just right I'd say, it also has a small bar section. It has a very traditional feel thats somewhat uncommon in American restaurants. I can see why people would mistake this as 'not clean' or 'old fashioned' but truth be told I just felt it was a well-worked, fast paced restaurant. I certainly didn't feel it was dirty. The main issue that arose is that the menu is very orientated towards red meat or seafood. This wasn't a huge issue for 2 out of the 3 attending but for my mother, who is a bit fussy, and not a fan of steak or seafood did struggle to pick anything, and ended up just taking a starter. Quality of the food was fine. Not worth raving over but perfectly enjoyable. I had the mixed grill and all the meats were well cooked but tasty. The only other complaint we really had was that it was maybe a tad overpriced for what it was. With that said I accept that this kind of comes with location. They do have a buffet option that I imagine is better value. Truth be told, I probably would eat here again if staying in one of the hotels surrounding it, but wouldn't actively seek it out. Likewise if you're staying nearby coming off a flight its certainly far from the worst place you could stop by.

Food was good, but the place is small and we had the “piano man” right next to our table. It was so noisy we could not talk among us. The most frustrating part was that i asked twice if the music could be lowered, but my request was completely ignored.

Great Service, Food was delicious Staff is very friendly and accommodating for event. They went above and beyond.
Always a pleasure to dine here!
My family and I always look forward to dining at Aero Squadron. My kids excitement mirrors my own memories of when my parents took me to this restaurant in the late 70s-80s. The 1940s WWII ambiance -from old planes and trucks outside the restaurant to dining decor interior with waiters clad in brown army officer uniforms impressed even my dad, who was a U.S. WWII vet, and wore a similar uniform in his old photos. As for the appetizers, I would advise anyone on their first visit to try the Beer Cheese soup, Calamari which come with an outstanding sweet chili sauce, and Stuffed Crab Mushrooms. For dinner, filet mignon! you can't go wrong. Although between my family and myself, we have tried every entree on their menu and everything is above average to superior. We have never tried the brunch, however.
