Brunch with friends with a beautiful view

By Leigh F |

We chose this restaurant because of the view. We had friends visiting from out of town and we knew it would be a gorgeous place to eat. That's pretty much all I can say about it. We arrived at noon for our brunch, and it was nearly empty. The restaurant requires a pre-paid $20 per person for reservations that is then credited to your bill. You have to check in at the entrance to the roof of PCM, waiting in line with everyone else who is doing any activity on the roof. That kind of took away from the experience, especially with the hawker in the elevator spouting facts about the building. The shareable sweet roll we ordered was really just 4 dry cinnamon rolls stuck together. Not gooey, not moist, not even hot. We were unimpressed with the food, but would probably return with out of town guests for the Atlanta skyline view.

Date Night

By Antonette S |

The food, view and atmosphere were amazing! Our server was great, when he did come by and check on us. I do understand the workforce struggles every business is facing though he had too many other tables, overheated & exhausted.

Was not worth the visit

By Alex |

I came for brunch and was highly disappointed. I got the honey biscuit breakfast sandwich. The chicken batter was seasoned but the chicken was not. The biscuit was burnt and I did not eat it. The breakfast potatoes weren’t seasoned. The Ceasar salad tasted like iceberg lettuce instead of romaine lettuce which people use for Ceasar dressing. My date had the shrimp and grits and he said it was good. Overall I wouldn’t dine here again.

Not great food for a lot of money!

By Jessie R |

The food isn't great, isn't fairly priced and you have to pay $10 to even get to the restaurant. This was a waste of money and I don't recommend it to anyone. The menu is very limited and everything is over priced. The food wasn't great either. I'm really not even sure how this place is still open!

good food beautiful view

By Jennifer |

First time here and what can I say a beautiful view. If you can eat outside it so worth it even if it might get a bit chilly in winter month. The food we ordered was very well balanced and was given a lot of thought. To be honest I could just come back for a whole lot of fries and the view don't need much more. We had the Salmon and my partner had the Burger (loved the fries that came with the Burger). Definitely coming back at some point

Touchy Bartenders, Mediocre Service, Decent Food, Great Views

By Borse1075 |

Great views, terrible bar staff, mediocre wait staff. Food was decent. Will cost you $10 just for the pleasure of riding the elevator up to the restaurant, and then it'll cost you for food and drinks. We arrived as a group of 6 looking for drinks and dinner. We were told there was a slight wait for a table on the outdoor terrace, so put our name down and went to the bar for some drinks. The bar was half empty, so we took some time looking at the nice selection and ordering our individual drinks. From the start, the bar tender seemed to have been peeved at the audacity that a group of 6 individuals would order 6 individual drinks, all at the same time, and then subsequently ask to pay for those drinks with individual forms of payment. The guy huffed around while he made our drinks, refused to make eye contact, and never came close to acknowledging the "thank you's" coming from our group. He demanded that we just drop our cards on the counter and he would "take care of it" later. However, that "later" was to come much earlier than he wanted, mostly due to the poor linkage between the tables system and bar system. Our table became ready, however we were told that we had to close out our bar tab prior to being seated. Needless to say, the bar grizzly did not want to see us again so soon, and closing out our tabs (a seemingly easy task at most establishments) turned into such an ordeal that even the support bar staff were apologizing to us for the "cluster" that it had become on the part of the main bartender. Considering the very over priced drinks menu and the overly sensitive bartender, I'd suggest just waiting for your table to order your drinks. The food was a decent "gastropub-y" selection, although many in the group complained of the food being overly salty. Plenty of options to choose from. Our waiter took our orders and brought us our food, but not much more in the way of service or bedside manner. He claimed to be a total beer snob and took pride in their beer menu, however he gave one of our guys grief when he sent back the Pilsner he received after ordering a strong IPA. The server claimed we had received the IPA that was ordered, but most folks (especially beer snobs) should know the difference in smell, color, and flavor between a Budweiser and a craft IPA. After some back and forth, the server replaced the beer. Did it really need to be that difficult to replace a beer with the correct one? Overall, we loved the views, but none of us would ever return to this place considering the many other options in the area.

Good, would go back again

By Work2TravelMore |

The food was creative and well executed, although a little pricey for the portions - "sides" are more like garnishes. Love the location and vibe, but the whole deposit-based reservation thing's a bit weird.

Great but!!!

By Travler70 |

Had reservation for 730. Got there at 630. Walked around had a drink. IT RAINED 10 minutes. Went up to restaurant at 720 were told 45 minute wait due to rain causing problems. Got table in 30 min.ordered apps and dinner at 8 pm. Took ONE HOUR to get food. All food okay except my scallops ICE COLD took 30 min to replace. However they tried to make up for it. They comped my dinner, sent champagne and free deserts. Food was good portions small ( 4 scallops, 2 small pieces of trout). Would probably go back only no rain

Too "High End" for the Setting

By BuffaloShoeGirl |

Here's the scenerio: It's a sunny Saturday afternoon and you'd like to soak up some atmosphere at the Ponce City Market. After you hunt for a parking space for which you'll pay $2 per hour, you decide to check out the Roof Top action. So you pony up the $10 per person access fee to be elevated to the roof top. YOU'RE AMASED BY THE BREATH TAKING VEIW! After being awestruck you check out the carnival environment--maybe playing a game or two--and now you are ready for that cocktail, even a bite to eat so Nine Mile Station is your option. You know what you want, just a great burger. But are you looking to spend $18 to nosh on a hamburger? That's what your option will be with the Patty Melt with caramelized onions on marble toast with fries. This "European-inspired" American restaurant is trying to do waaay too much! Don't get me wrong, I'm willing to invest in an $18 hamburger for a new expereience but this one wasn't satisfying in the least. I felt like I'd been robbed.

Good Food/Great Drink

By Partrounar B |

My 2nd visit....1st time having a cocktail. This Cocktail Hits Different....hit different! Nice drink! The Steak Frites were delicious, as the scallops were during my last visit in September. Keep up the good work and I'll be back in November.

Great view, unique setting and enjoyed my food

By SouthernBelles98 |

Came here for a small office holiday dinner and the restaurant is a unique experience! It’s located on the rooftop of the new Ponce City Market and you actually take one of the original freight elevators of the old building structure to get there. Just outside the dining area there is a hip carnival type atmosphere with places to hangout. We all enjoyed a drink on the rooftop before sitting down for dinner. The place was very busy and seemed a bit overwhelmed by us having a larger party. I really enjoyed my meal - the patty melt. Mixed reviews from others on what they ordered but I would order what I got again. Great place to go for something different!

A don't miss, must be on your bucket list of ATL

By Scott G |

I really don't have to use a bunch of words to review this one. Views, custom Cocktails, exquisite Draft Beers, Appetizers....it is a bit pricey but inline with other penthouse or top floor establishments. Didn't do desert because we were full. Party of 4 we tried various drinks and drafts all excellent. Service was impeccable considering how busy it was for Mardi Gras activities. Bartender Jonathan is great at educating you on the drink offerings.

nice outdoor view - poor food

By ATL-LSU |

First lets start with what a hassle it is to make a reservation! PIA! but you must do online or forget about going. Next you are served with a contract and a $20 deposit for each guest! Trying to call them is also another poor quality; if they dont answer it doesnt go to vmail it just hangs up. The food and drink prices are high so went expecting a higher quality experience but thats not what you get; the wait staff is dressed poorly and not the friendliest.. Atlanta offers much much better options for dining at that price. If you wanna go some place for outdoor views the place is great. Avoid sitting inside next to open kitchen its hot you would be better sitting outside in the heat. sadly there was absolutely nothing memorable about this place other than the city views.

perfection

By Lisa V |

We were a party of six for brunch on a busy Saturday. Kalisa was our server and was so attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed from the minute we arrived. We enjoyed a cinnamon bun, eggs benedict, hash and fresh fruit. The view is incredible and the patio is well appointed.

You're Paying For The Setting

By npg |

The setting was better than the food here. The baby backs ribs had good flavor but they weren't as tender as I had hoped. The fennel slaw was bland and needed salt & pepper at the very least. The veggie panini was actually quite good with perfectly toasted bread. The kids pasta had a spicy tomato sauce, which is odd for a kid's dish. Service was mediocre, I had to remind the server to bring my drink. Overall, not bad, just not worth the price for the food alone, in my opinion. So, know in advance you're going for the view. And try to go after sunset or the sun is oppressive and there isn't much shade

Loved it!

By MrsEBaz |

Sydney, our server, was perfect! Her suggestions about food & drink were on point; she was kind, attentive & enjoyable. The food & drinks were delicious, thanks to Sydney’s recommendations! The reservation fee was worth it & the ambience was unique. We’d definitely go back next time we’re in town.

An awful experience

By rg0459 |

My girlfriend and I were visiting From out of town, and were invited to dinner at Nine Mile Station with a local couple. The indoor seating was extremely loud and extremely cramped. The tables were right on top of each other, and the chairs were even too small. Drinks were ok, but it was difficult to enjoy them with two drunk chicks screaming at each other. About the time we started wondering about our food, our server came by and told us that she entered the order but forgot to send it to the kitchen. I ordered the schnitzel and my girlfriend ordered the ribs. When the schnitzel arrived, the breading was greasy, the chicken was way too dry, and the pork was way too fatty. I tried her ribs, and they were nothing special - just cooked (not smoked) and slathered with sauce. Something clearly didn't sit well with her, as we made it as far as the parking lot before she got sick. All told, it was a poor experience. Neither the food nor the service were worth the price we paid. I give it two stars only because the view of Atlanta is amazing. The local couple stated that they wouldn't be back, and we certainly will never be back.

Great view!

By Smittydakid |

This place was excellent. Me and my wife had the brunch menu. My wife got pancakes/eggs and i got pancakes/sausage. Everything was very good. The waitress was good and very knowledgeable about ponce city market. The place is a little pricy but the view is worth it. We sat outside so we could enjoy the beautiful scenery! Next time i visit atlanta, i will eat at 9 mile again!

Overpriced and not worth it

By Edward F |

The Bloody Mary is terrible. Just super spicy with no flavor. Full disclosure we did go at New Years Eve but it was 11 am. The igloos on the deck got all the attention of the servers. Sometimes 3 servers at one table while we waited 20 minutes for a drink. It’s completely overpriced and the menu is basic

Doggie Daddy Day dinner

By Allan H |

Very good service, and food. We did not have high expectations for the food quality, figuring it was more of a beer garden and for site seeing. The drinks were well proportioned and not watered down, the mixed grill dish was delicious as was the schnitzel dish ( has chicken and pork) all were cooked to perfection. The root beer cake with bourbon sauce was awesome (careful about a DUI after this one!, only exceeded by the pistachio creek brûlée. Only downside is that it was a bit expensive, and we generally detest paying for parking. Note that the fee for the elevator ride is counted toward your dinner, but you better have a reservation. We lucked out and it was a gorgeous evening with spectacular views of the city and the belt line.

One and done

By Ali D |

I really was excited about the potential of this restaurant. So excited that I was okay with the $20 per person cost to make a reservation. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the views were stunning. However, my excitement ended there. We had several cocktails and appetizers before ordering entrées. The fried peas and beans were just ok. I couldn't eat the stuffed peppers because I'm allergic to shellfish but the rest of the table seem to enjoy them. The mixed mushrooms or very bland. There was practically no seasoning to them. You could not taste any of the seasonings as indicated on the menu. The skewers were good but the portion was for one. After apps we moved onto entrées. The roasted vegetable breast sandwich was overcooked. Very tough to bite into. The pork belly entrée was extremely hard to chew. Again the portion was very small. The ribs were okay. You get about 6 ribs and it was very flavorful. The challenge is that there is far better BBQ in the city. So if you're going to put ribs on the menu they have to be up to par. On top of food that we found to be very average and at some points below average, the service is what really killed it. Service adds to the overall experience and it was well below average. So to recap, I would recommend maybe going for a cocktail or two if your looking for some place with a new view of the city. But this was an unfortunate one and done for me with is really sad. My visit was to scope it out to refer potential business for large parties and customers but I honestly can not due to the service levels and the food quality.

Hipster fun spot

By Travelcritic78 |

Great view of the Atlanta skyline. Excellent craft cocktails. The beef on the 3$2.00 entree I ordered was inedible-so full of fat, but the marinated veggie plate was very good. The hostesses were rude; almost walked out before we were seated.

Bad service, overpriced everything

By doc_amy |

If you're going to be a rooftop restaurant, sure, you'll be overpriced. But the reason so few people were there was because the service was awful and they cheap out on standard stuff. Serving 12 oz of beer instead of 16 with normal gravity (and 6 oz pours on high gravity) for the same price as other places is just silly. The quality of the food was meh - a $48 steak frites is just ridiculous unless you can deliver on quality and service. Our server told us that the fries and mushrooms we ordered as starters were "I'm not gonna like, that's not enough food for appetizers. YOu need to order more." We didn't, and we didn't. Then she stood by my elbow as I put in the tip and said "Just so you know, the tip isn't included." We had a great meal there a year ago, but I was embarrassed we'd brought out of town guests.

Nice view

By TASunde |

Really nice view of the city and mid town. Food was tasty and portions relatively light. If you make a reservation and put a twenty dollar deposit down from their website it gets credited to your tab. If no reservation is ten bucks a piece to get up.

Great food, service, views and much more near by

By sahbowen |

John was a great server during our dinner for my wife’s birthday. Great suggestions and very attentive. I’d describe the menus as compact and choiceful. We started with cocktails; a Manhattan and an Old Fashion. Exceptionally good ingredients. Very tasty. Our starters were: Watermelon Salad - Feta, Basil Oil, Mint, Fresh Lemon Juice, Red Onion, Sherry Reduction Foie Gras Pâté - Strawberry Compote, Grilled Bread So, so good. In addition to the various starters, there were also “boards” to choose among. Our entrees were: Smoked Baby Back Ribs - Fennel Slaw, Cheddar Cornbread, Pickled Jalapeño Butter Braised Beef Short Rib - Parsnip Purée, Pecan Horseradish Gremolata Very rich and tasty although the beef short rib was perhaps a bit salty for my taste. We enjoyed a Pinot Noir and a red blend with dinner. Great suggestions. John helped us with our choices and guided us well. And thanks for the birthday desert! A dense chocolate cake with fresh berries and vanilla ice cream. Excellent. The restaurant has great views of the city, with indoor and outdoor dining. As well as a rooftop carnival next to it. This is all on top of Ponce City Market, which has a lot to see and do. We had an after dinner drink at anther bar in the Market and enjoyed some shopping. Plan lots of extra time to check things out. We’ll be back!

Perfect on a cooler night!

By TXMARTINS |

We had reservations somewhere else but when the weather dropped randomly in August we changed to 9 Mile Station & are so glad we did! It wasn’t the fancy birthday dinner we planned but it was perfect! We had cocktails & appetizers & enjoyed being outside kid free with views. There were lots of kids around but thankfully not too close so we got to enjoy some rare time away from our own with great service and lots of food options. Reservations highly recommended if you want a great table! Tips: Get the crudités platter

Worth The view

By Maria G |

The only thing 9 mile station has going for it is the view. Paying $20 in advance and then having a weird menu you kind of put to downer on happy hour. The craft beers are lacking in flavor. I ended up having a bottle of beer. They should Chacuterie board is good so I was charged $4.50 for three pieces of bread since the board only came with one piece. We were asked to move once we sat down because they had a large party coming. We did not move because we picked out spot to see the view that cost us $60 deposit. The lamb sausage was overcooked. The restaurant manager re-cooked it and it was fabulous. Our waitress disappeared somewhere for most of our dining experience.

Great brunch, great service

By Chris O |

Had noon reservations for lunch. Those who know Ponce City Market will know it costs $10 each to get on the roof where the restaurant is but there’s a table at the elevator booth and if you’ve made reservations (and paid $20 deposit each, which they take off the bill, you don’t pay this). Great drinks, great food, great service, great view. Remember that you can’t drink til 12:30 in a Sunday in GA but they are great about bringing drinks and food at the same time. Gets crowded with good reason.

This is My New Girl's Day Hangout

By Cgstar69 |

This is the perfect place to meet up with friends and decompress after a busy work week. The setting is spectacular. Sitting on the roof of Ponce City Market you will forget about the hustle and bustle going on below as you take in the beautiful skyline of metro Atlanta. The hand-crafted cocktails are well thought out and a perfect blend of flavor and alcohol. There is also an extensive beer list, this is a beer garden. After toiling over the menu we had our sever select her favorite item, the meat and cheese platter. It was absolutely delicious. The best item on the platter, the pickled carrots. They are pickled in-house and make you want to eat all your veggies. We didn't make it to dessert, but that's even more reason to return.

Great view of the city and fun brunch

By Debbie B |

We walked to Nine Mile Station for brunch. Ponce City Market is a fun place to visit and having had lunch there before were anxious to try the rooftop brunch and Nine Mille station. We had the sticky bun for 4 (was like a whole cake and absolutely delicious), and the egg in a hole. The food was delicious and was sat outside since it was a perfect day. The only thing I didn't like as much was the outdoor table are picnic tables and as a party of 3 they sat another party of 5 with us so their group was in with us. With a large party the picnic table is fine but with smaller groups you may not have as much space to talk among yourself. Inside they had private smaller tables or outside they did have bar height stools at private tables.

Excellent Brunch

By Jennifer H |

I recently had brunch at 9 Mile Station. Overall our experience was fantastic. Excellent service, a lively atmosphere, and the food was presented beautifully, was delicious, and was the perfect portion. (Also had one of the best Old Fashioneds I've had - get the 3rd option!) I'd like to come back when it's a little warmer and dine outside.

Date night

By Kelley C |

We came to Ponce City Market and decided to go up to the roof. It is worth thr $10 per person because the views of downtown, midtown, and lenox are wonderful. As vegetarians, we had the chick pea and spinach dip and eggplant main dish which had amazing favors. Then we sat on the outdoor deck for dessert. A great spring evening.

Best in Atlanta

By exacta123 |

Had dinner here at this rooftop restaurant. It was a chilly night but they had heat lamps on so it was very comfortable. Best meal I have had in Atlanta. I had the short rib with cauliflower risotto, it was amazing. Great staff as well.

There is a view

By Clint S |

Went for my daughter's birthday. She wanted to go there. The $20 per person charge made at reservation helps with the bill. You will spend $20 per person and more. Menu was limited and odd. Sides that come with dishes are out of place on most items. The fries look like The Varsity fries taste like potato sticks from a can (my mother's exact words). Lots of beers and wines to choose from but limited liquor choices. They had "expensive" rums and just 3 to choose from. I wasn't impressed with the one I got. The view of Atlanta didn't go with the eclectic menu. Seems like they are trying to meld Southern food in a more diverse style. Had they stuck with the basics and done them right, they would be perfect to go with the view of Atlanta. Had some issues with one of our dishes and it didn't really get fixed. Who puts Mortadella bologna on a patty melt????? Told us it usually came on Marbled Rye and they were out. Came out on Marbled Rye. Communication between the wait staff and kitchen is not productive. Dishes came out when ready and not as a group. Wait staff was attentive, managerial staff tried hard but the kitchen staff let them down I think. If they change the menu slightly and get the communication together then this is a great place to go. You are 4 floors up, you charge $20 to just make reservations, you have the absolute best view in Atlanta at a great location, you need to meet the expectations that are being set.

Beautiful view - great for pictures

By Tania J |

I had a lovely time with my friends and we will have many great pictures. The service was great although the birthday was in no way acknowledged as noted in the reservation. It was super hot in the afternoon and there are no fans or shelter in case of the frequent thunderstorms. You could go inside but no chance of a conversation. It’s brutally loud. The menu was ok. Nothing particularly special for the price. Doubt I’ll be back.

Great food and vibe

By Ebony W |

Our waitress was great!!! She gave us the favs. We were not disappointed at all with the food or drinks. Shrimp & grits Apple pie Pineapple sidecar

$10 to get up there

By Matt Bird |

Pounce City Market is a mega large refurbished warehouse with loads of boutique shops and eateries. The rooftop is 7 floors up (with a 10 dollar cost) & the premier drinking & eating spot is the 9 Mile Station. I visited on a Thursday evening & expected it to be throbbing with young people enjoying the early weekend - instead it was splattered (I couldn't possibly say full) with middle aged couples, and I'm middle aged, so there was no chance of a party.

New Star On Top of Atlanta

By Jack S |

I was recently taken here by my daughter who lives intown Atlanta. This restaurant opened Oct. 2016, and it is already a magnificent success. We caught a beautiful night in late Feb. and the weather was perfect for outdoor dining. The restaurant is on top of the new Ponce Market, which is the old Sears Bldg. Ten floors up and you get the best view of downtown, midtown, and Buckhead, from the rooftop outdoor restaurant. Indoor dining is also available. The menu is not typical, a little eclectic, and filled with fresh fare. Many menu items can be shared, so we ordered an assortment to feed 4 persons. From the Meat and Cheese Board to the whole fish, everything was absolutely wonderful. The hospitality and service was excellent as were the refreshing drinks. Outside the restaurant, on the rooftop, there is a mini arcade with different games and rides for entertainment. This whole concept of the entertainment with dining is very well done. When the temperature on weekends warms up, this place is really going to rock. Can't wait to return.

Nope!

By Joseph S |

Spent $40 dollars to go upstairs to eat and play games, but couldn't play anything because of all the rain. We sat inside 9 Mile for dinner. We had chickpea and spinach for app- tasted bland. For dinner: 1- had the Smoked Chicken- great presentation but peas were undercooked, not al dente 2- Ravioli was too sweet 3- Short rib was dry 4- BBQ Ribs very salty and tough, hard to cut even with a knife! Stick with the alcohol and avoid the food!

Great views and food!

By lunabuna1 |

Had a great brunch here with friends. We were visiting from NH, and really appreciated the beautiful views!! Had reservations and were seated right away under a huge umbrella. We had a large picnic like table, which eventually another party was also seated. Food was excellent! I had the eggs Benedict, minus the bacon (vegetarian). Hollandaise sauce was the best I had tasted in a long time, nice and lemon-y. Husband had shrimp and grits and fiend had French toast stuffed with bananas. All were fabulous and portions were good. Service was very good. All in all a great experience!!!

A night on the Roof

By kenyorkjr |

I had planned this dinner for 6 months and was really excited and anticipating the view, atmosphere and food. I wasn't disappointed. The making the reservations online was easy. Parking was easy. It took a minute to find the ticket kiosk, but it was our first time at Ponce City Market, so the walk around and looking while waiting for one in our party was no big deal. We were seated quickly, our server was Emily. She was absolutely a gem. She put with 5 smart-assed guys that really enjoyed her service, her attitude and her professionalism. She even took our picture a couple of times when the dinner was over. We sat outside on Saturday, October 12.....it was comfortably cool....we didn't even have on jackets. Reading the menus outside at 8 pm was ok since we all had flashlights on our phones. Emily answered all of our drink, appetizer and food questions quickly and make some very good suggestions. The food was awesome. Everyone in my party enjoyed it immensely. I had the Mixed Grill, one of us had the Salmon and the other three had the Chicken Pot Pie. We all walked away with plenty of food in our bellies. The price for dinner for 5, with an appetizer, drinks for 4 was less that $50 per person. Very reasonable for this type of restaurant with the view (and Emily's amazing service). Now..the atmosphere.....Unbeatable in Atlanta. You can't find another restaurant of this quality with a more inviting atmosphere. the pods with the firepits were amazing even though we didn't utilize them. The 360 degree view of the the Atlanta skyline at night was amazing. The music playing from a place next door was not too overbearing. We were able to have a great conversation without having to yell to be heard. And did I mention that view!! Coming to Atlanta is coming "home" for me. I left Atlanta in 2004 and although I get back once a month or so, it is still coming home even though the ATL is not my actual hometown. And to find this jewel of a restaurant is great. It was my first visit of many I hope. The entire experience is one that the 5 of us will remember for a long time. Thank you, Emily and 9 Mile Station.

Rooftop restaurant surprise!

Visited my daughter and husband for Easter and we walked the belt line to this rooftop restaurant. Great view and atmosphere and very good food! Our bartender, greeter and especially our waiter were excellent.

Great food and atmosphere!

Beautiful view of the city at night and blankets to cope with the cold, the drinks were great and the food wonderful!

Great food and wonderful views of Atlanta

By Wahoo428 |

Brunch was delicious. Bloody Mary's were made with their house made mix and were wonderful. The Eggs Benedict was a feast for the mouth. Two eggs, sautéed spinach, hearty slices of bacon, hollandaise sauce, all served on a pretzel croissant! Service was great and the view of Atlanta was gorgeous!

Great for cocktails with a view!

By vvendygirl |

Great location to see the city skyline! Up at the top of Ponce city market - it's a comfortable sky deck to take in some libations and eats! Community tables, high top tables, and even adirondak seating around several fire pits scatters about. Upscale southern menu and craft cocktails. Most seating is outside, but they do offer small section of indoor seating as well. I would make reservations they tend to be busy at peak times!

Amazing in Every Aspect!

By ttbryan1 |

I went here with a large group of friends for a birthday dinner on a Sunday evening. We had great weather, which made for a spectacular evening. You start by entering on the main level and checking in with the host. Reservations are definitely needed. They lead you to a line for the elevator and you wait for a group to form Once a sizable group forms, they take up to the top level while giving some history along the way. The top level is quite impressive with some slides, miniature golf and a bar. You walk through everything to get to the restaurant. The patio has both indoor and outdoor seating, but the outdoor patio is massive with views all around the city. Luckily, we were seated outside and were able to take in the great scenery and weather. We started with drinks and I had the Blackberry Farms beer, which was quite delicious. For appetizers, we started with the meat and cheese board and the sausage board and both were very good. They also provided pretzel bread, which was the best part. For dinner, I had the patty melt with french fries. It was yummy and plentiful. Others had the crispy pig ear and pork belly, which they enjoyed. We were so full from dinner that we could not order dessert. The whole atmosphere and experience were amazing and everyone should experience that with a group or party. The service was excellent and the prices were fine. This is one of the best overall dining experiences that I have ever had.

Awesome

By mssrothwell |

I totally enjoyed the whole experience. Galese and Ramond were the best. The food and cocktails were great. The scenery has to be one of the best in the city. Put this on your list of places to dine. Great place for any type of celebration; large or small.

9 Mile Station

By DayTrip63123509329 |

I made reservations for the igloo experience for an early valentines date night and it was amazing. It did rain but it was still very nice and cozy our server was amazing and very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations. I had the grits and shrimp and my partner had the burger and that was the best burger ever.

What a gem up on a rooftop!

By Amanda B |

This place was perfect! First, they took an abandoned old industrial building and made it to a fantastic place to visit. The entire location is charming with shops, activities and this amazing restaurant. Parking is limited so prepare for that. Second, the restaurant is truly a gem. The views, the good food and the staff were wonderful. Our server, Lauryn H was fabulous!!! This girl rocked it with our party of 9! She could describe each meal so perfectly that you wanted to eat it all! She made sure we were taken of and her suggestions were spot on! Wonderful person with a wonderful personality! The food was to die for!! The steak bites and fries were worth every penny! The seafood was so fresh! They have these meat and cheese trays they can bring out on these rustic slabs of wood. They were fantastic. The flavors on these trays were paired perfectly. Several of us ordered drinks and the bar did a great job with them too! To top it off you had a fabulous view of the city and as the evening continued you had nice lighting with fire pits, a variety of seating options and just a comfortable atmosphere. This place will be our go to place whenever in Atlanta.

Come for a drink and appetizer - watch the sunset

The place is beautiful with views and the sunset is pretty spectacular. The food is not impressive but I ate a pre-set menu which may have had something to do with it. Before or after dinner you can play a game of skit ball or other carnival style game at the skyline park outside the restaurant.

Experience Atlanta as the city built on a sea of air

By lck720 |

We visited this venue yesterday and I am still floating happily on the memory. For Atlantans grounded in our parks and trails, rising above to take in the skyline while sipping a good beer or cocktail is just plain fun! I must say food takes a bit of a backseat to ambiance but the package experience is worth every dollar spent.

Great food and an incredible view!!!

By Team McLemore |

The food is top notch, the view is awesome and the layout is very cool. Indoor and out door seating, fire pits and great service!!!

Incredible View and Drinks

By BJAATL |

You cant beat the views almost full 360 for ATL. Sunsets are amazing with sun coming through buildings. Excellent crafted cocktails and expansive drink. Food is mixed but overall very good for a place like this. The patty melt is big and rich good for sharing. Ribs average. Boards are very nice.

Love the view and the drinks. Nice atmosphere I would definitely come back with a group of girls to sit down to watch The View and to eat and drink. The staff was friendly.

So Glad I finally came

By Sidewon N |

This place is pretty awesome! I'm late to the entire PCM thing. I have to say I was a bit of a basher. I just didn't get the concept of a central market with no actual connectivity to the city to legitimately use it in that manner! UNTIL, I came here....Now, you do have to pay for parking at PCM and $10 to get on the roof but It's worth it. The ambiance is so nice and the chefs and bartenders have a true appreciation for what they do. An old coworker/friend of mine and I had been making plans to link for the longest... But I'm sure you know how that is on a Tuesday evening after work. Something in me said screw it, and we met. I'm glad we did. Prices are a tad high imo so we went for the meat and cheese board. I ordered 2 whiskey sours, and I can tell you that board is quite filling! It's loaded with all kinds of pickled peppers and cheeses and jams and a nice little loaf. The picture I have doesn't do it justice as the original was deleted but I will def be back to get this again and explore that menu . some more.

This is a really cool place

By Liz Bobeck |

This is a much better use of the old Sears Building than City Hall East. A great facility below and in between for shopping and dining, the 9 Mile Station is part of the attraction on the roof top. I did not like having to pay $20 per person to "ride" to the top, but they said that it was deducted for ordering items. I guess people use the elevator to sight see only, which makes sense once you get up there. The view is incredible for midtown roof top bars. We had a few beverages and items to eat while there. It was well laid out and the staff was very friendly and very helpful. We met some really nice people on the roof top as well. We had great service and I would recommend and go back again soon!

Great Experience

By wihamilton |

The venue was excellent and the servers were superb (Galese and Raymond) !!! The hostess was extremely hospitable and I will definitely recommend this venue to others.

What A View

By ricky2246 |

We went for cocktails and the view! The $10 charge permits you up on the roof for a panoramic view of the Atlanta skyline. The music was good, the cocktails strong, and atmosphere suitable for dates, families, and tourists.

Delicious, Delicious, Friendly, Sanitary, and Masked up!

By mflower275 |

The view was absolutely beautiful; however, we sat at the bar because we did not have a reservation. I ordered the white bean hummus with grilled naan and my girlfriend ordered a watermelon salad. I ordered an Atlanta Hard Cider and I cannot remember what drink she ordered but she ordered two because it was that delicious. There were plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options especially from the "sides" portion of the menu. My bill was $29.95. There is a parking lot that you could access and pay through the Park Mobile app. From there, you will take the elevator up to the rooftop (well, that's how we accessed the restaurant.) The food was delicious, the drinks were delicious, the staff was friendly, the bathrooms were sanitary and the staff wore masks. I would definitely revisit.

Very Disappointing (Hold the salt)

By Martin S |

Sat at a table in front of the pass, I understand why my food was inedible as the guy running the pass thought it was appropriate to add excessive kosher salt and oil to every dish. Even though the food was already over-salted, I had the cod and I couldn't eat it despite asking for lemon to try and balance the dish. My son had some frys and again the salt was unbelievable that I think for the first time ever he didn't finish them. Not sure if it's a trend to aggressively season everything but can chefs start tasting the food before they serve it.

Wonderful view and lovely/lively atmosphere

By Madhanmohan |

Visited along with big gang to the restaurant. I like the exclusive access to the restaurant via old model lift. I like the fact that the building is 100+ year old. Wonderful ambience and view from the restaurant. Food was good and I liked the deserts.

Cool and good

By Luca D |

Fantastic view of the city and a very good environment... Food is very good and the price is not exaggerated. Good!!!

Very good food, but disappointed with server!

By MUNT1678 |

Atmosphere was very pleasant; food choices ok--could improve to include more menu options, but the biggest complaint was our waitress. During this time of COVID-all servers are obligated to wear a mask. Patrons wear masks from entry until they are seated and ready to eat/drink. Our server had her mask pulled down below her chin and when asked to pull it up, made a snarky remark........and only pulled it halfway up.

Great for Brunch

By phat_dawg_21 |

We were there for a Saturday brunch. The outdoor seating was very nice. Our server was engaging and attentive. The margaritas were well made, and the portions were large. The hamburger was especially good. A bit expensive, but not when you consider the huge portions, the view, and the atmosphere.

Amazing views! And food too!

By mich042021 |

Went here on our last night in Atlanta and it was amazing. The hostess was friendly , server was great and the food was amazing. Unfortunately it was raining so we sat inside to eat - but it stopped raining by the time we finished eating so we were able to go on the rooftop to enjoy the views of the Atlanta skyline. Incredible views! I am certain it would be even more over the top on a beautiful night. Highly recommend.

Early Dinner with friends

By Sarah C |

I highly recommend a reservation. The staff of the elevator lift were very pleasant. Once up on the roof you walk past all the games to the restaurant. We were greeted by 2 hostesses who quickly sat us outside - under a cover at a communal table. The table was separated by some potted greens. The other people were very nice and we chatted with them. The view of the city is fabulous! Our waiter Matt (i believe that was his name), was on point and knew a great deal about the menu, ingredients. He offered suggestions on food and beverage. He never made us feel rushed. Hummus and cheese appetizers were great. Mussels were a bit chewy and very small. Entrees of pesto pasta and rack of ribs was enjoyed by all. We then received a nice dessert display - chocolate fondue with fruit and lady fingers for our birthday.

What a view!

By Maria G |

9 mile station has a lovely view of Atlanta. We had the chocolate cherry plate and it was fabulous. The beer is limited to craft beers. The wine was wonderful. I did not know that if you ate here you did not have to pay the five dollars to come up in the elevator. That is not clear!

Trendy but not worth the price

By lisaoatl |

They charged us $20 per person before we could even go up and see if we liked the restaurant. The view is awesome but that is about all. The small plates were decent. But the drinks, service, staff and entree was very underwhelming. There are too many great places to eat in Atlanta 9 mile is not one of the.

worst service ever! Amazing food,

By acopley |

We were visiting ATL with my family and we decided o book a diner for my wife's birthday. They suggested to do it online, we did it. They took $100 from our credit card. Our confirmed reservations was at 7,30 PM. We arrived 6,30 to Ponce market, and we present our selfs at 7:20 at the restaurant. They said they were over booked, and no table available .....I asked to speak with a manager, who was very Nice and friendly. She apologized and gave us ticket to the fair on the terrace, so our extra 45 minutes waiting time would be easier. It was ok, I have kids, they were having fun... remember, it was a celebration.... We present our selfs at 8:15 asking for any available seats. We got the terrace, fantastics view and ambient! after being seated for 15 minutes, We order drinks and appetizers. Another 45 minutes and the starters arrived! meanwhile we ordered our mains.... At 9,45 PM finally the food arrived, do your numbers... but my plate was missing, they bring it after 15 minutes (BTW I order a Burger...you can't go wrong with a burger right?? ) they table next to us were complaining about the same, they bring their food 3 times wrong!, they spoke with another manager, and they got a huge discount. It was not my case, as it was my wife's birthday and you want to keep the good vibes (i was really pissed off at 10 PM), anyways, it looks they have a very small kitchen for all the available tables, and they are short in personnel...

Awesome roof top beer garden

By Kathy O |

If you're visiting downtown, stop by on a nice night for great views and drinks. The food is tasty but be forewarned, the portions are on the smaller side. One thing that was a little odd was the reservation system. You MUST have a reservation. When you get to the hostess stand, she/he will direct you to make a reservation even if they have plenty of space (which they did on the night we visited). You deposit 20 per person, which is refunded after your visit. What was odd was there were multiple people attempting to make reservations and they system was showing no availability. The hostess told us to make a reservation for a different evening, which she then overrode? I wonder how many potential guests they lost because of this.

An ASININE, almost IDIOTIC access policy diminish an otherwise really cool spot...

By Phoenyx-Floyd |

In a few words: what's the point of having some of the best bar-food, one of the coolest setting and probably the best skyline view in Atlanta if people can hardly...access it? So here's the thing. This restaurant is located at the Rooftop of Ponce City Market. Because the Skyline park located there charges a $10 admission fee per person, if you don't have a reservation for Nine Mile Station, you HAVE NO CHOICE but to PAY THAT ADMISSION FEE. So you pretty much start your evening with $20 added to your bill just to be able to...access that restaurant. The best parade they've found to circumvent this issue is to have you make a reservation on a third party website. I found that process quite complex: you first have to register, then they send you an email, then you have to confirm your email and finally make a deposit of $20 per guest which then goes towards your bill once at the restaurant. Needless to say, spontaneity is NOT ALLOWED at Nine Mile Station. Let's say it's Saturday night, you make a reservation for two but then a couple of your friends start seeing your great Skyline posts on Snapchat and decide to join you there...Well, they'll have to pay a $10 per person cover which will NOT be credited to their bill. Now, other restaurants located in venues which charge an admission fee have found much better ways around it for their patrons. The Westin Hotel in downtown Atlanta charges a $7.50 cover to ride their scenic elevator and enjoy their view from the 72nd floor. However, if you're going to the Sundial Restaurant located there, they just ask that you show a receipt proving that you actually spent money at that restaurant and you weren't just a freeloader. Other restaurants do a pre-authorization on your card so that they can charge your card if ever you went up and didn't purchase anything. Once again, having to pay a cover to go to a restaurant that you're bringing business to is somewhat of a paradox. Now, that leads me into the paragraph about the value offered there. After coming to terms with the fact that we were being robbed of $20 just to ride a 3-story elevator, we finally were granted access to this "elevated beer garden". The settings was cozy and the night-time skyline view was breathtaking. We started with a couple of house specialty cocktails at $14 a pop ! For this price, we expected to taste something really unique. In simple terms, those drinks were crap. The waiter actually confessed that the basil they used in those cocktails was syrup-based...Once again, we found ourselves wondering where our money went. At $14 for an 8-10 oz drink, we were expecting a bit of real, actual ingredients in our glasses. Now, on to the food. We shared a $32 "mixed grill" board. I had them add a 6-inch "merguez" sausage that they billed at $9 (once again, quite expensive). Other than that, the board was succulent. You could really fell the BBQ grill flavor and the sauces that came with it were just a perfect add-on. I only wish the board came with a piece of baguette bread or something similar. In conclusion: the food is great, the cocktails are not but yet overpriced and the view is amazing. The MUSIC was CRAPPY o in a Thursday night but I was reassured that it gets better on Saturdays. Overall, I see it as a good spot to have a couple of beers and share some food with friends before heading somewhere else. Still, should they not alter their RIDICULOUS ACCESS POLICY, I'm pretty sure many other spots in Atlanta will win my heart over Nine Mile Station when it comes time to deciding where to go (and where to spend). FUN walks with SPONTANEOUS. Having a good time should not require the military-level or planning and organization that this restaurant demands to be able to access them for free...

Raw Chicken, Poor Food and Watered Down Drinks

By Cmara32 |

I haven't written a bad review in quite sometime, but my experience last week was so poor I feel obligated to share this experience. I attended a group function on the roof with starter cocktails. The venue was lovely on a nice evening, so I could see the appeal. However my cocktail was bad (vodka & soda). The soda water had lost its carbonation so it just had that salty bland watery taste and it was surprisingly weak. Typically one cocktail makes me buzzed and two is my limit. Since I did not want to complain in front of my host, I ordered a sparkling water and poured some in to liven it up. Once dinner started I ordered the appetizer of prawns.. the flavor was OK but they were quite small (about the size of a quarter). Typically when I order prawns they are much larger. So that was disappointing. My main dish (the falafel) was basically fried chick pea balls (quite over cooked and flavorless) on top of salad. I only ate 2 as they were so dry, cold and hard. They were quite possibly cooked earlier that afternoon. Two of my friends at the table ordered the fried chicken. When they cut into the chicken it was COMPLETELY RAW on the inside! Not just a little pink, but so raw I couldn't imagine how the chef wasn't aware. Did they not time the dish? Or check the temperature? I have actually never seen that in a restaurant and was shocked a manager never came over to address it. The server just took a different order as if that wasn't a problem to serve people raw chicken. I ordered another drink (vodka martini straight up) which did not taste like vodka and then I realized after I finished it before dessert that it had to have been watered down. I left that evening never getting a slight buzz. Very odd as I am a small individual and typically ONE martini is all I need. Overall, I could not understand the poor quality...the place was busy, but not overwhelming on a Wednesday night and this dinner was planned in advance so the 15ppl we came in with was not a surprise to the restaurant. If you go for the view, order wine and eat elsewhere.

Overpriced View with a Side of Mediocrity: Don’t Waste Your Time

By jadams5454 |

Our group of four had an absolutely terrible time. The whole experience was a mess from the start. First off, the ridiculous requirement to register and sign a waiver just to get in the door? Come on. If we had known we’d be stuck wasting 30 minutes on pointless paperwork, we would’ve bailed before even making a reservation. Once we finally got upstairs, the view was the only thing that didn’t suck. The food? Total letdown—bland, boring, and crazy overpriced. And don’t even get me started on the service. It was painfully slow, and the staff couldn’t have cared less. We’ve brought visitors here for years just for the view, but after this nightmare, we’re done. This place is clearly skating by on the view alone, and everything else is a joke. Total waste of time and money.

1st visit amazing, 2nd visit dissapointing

By Nori W |

I have been twice to this restaurant within a month. My first visit was for a corporate event and everything was perfect. The private area, drinks, food, and service was spot on. The 2nd visit was super disappointing. We arrived without a reservation, so we expected that we would wait. We sat at the bar and had a few cocktails, and chatted with the bartenders. One of which was not having any of it, no eye contact, no smile, no conversation. OK, we will talk with the others no worries. We were seated at our table, no server came for a good 10 min. We ordered and received our food, which was not as good as my first visit. In fact it was like it was a totally different restaurant. There are to many restaurants in ATL that I want to try before I would go back.

Nice setting, so-so food

By Diego |

Nice location on the top floor of the punch market. We started with an appetizer of cold cuts and cheese, I would say more than good, then moving on to the first courses, we were not so satisfied, the flavors didn't seem to match that much. Overall worth a try anyway

Great in every way

I had a wonderful cocktail and the new summer menu was fantastic. The staff was efficient friendly and professional I would highly recommend this facility to anyone

Continues to satisfy

Great service, great views attentive staff and a wonderful experience. Slater Hospitality gets the job done every time. Not only is the Nine Mile venue great....they continue to add additional spots that make the total experience fresh and exciting. Keep up the great work

Exhilerating

By RHL |

This place is fantastic. The food was great, albeit pricey, but the staff was attentive and the view is worth its weight in gold. I would encourage anyone visiting Atlanta to spend some quality time at Ponce City Market and at the rooftop, including 9 Mile Station. You could spend a day here and not see and do it all.

CPA celebration

By Migdalia R |

Took our son here to celebrate passing his CPA exams. It was a rainy day and we were seated promptly for our 3:30 meal. I had the seared tuna, my husband had the shrimp with linguini and my son had the roasted chicken. We also shared the spinach dip with fried pita. Everything was delicious. We had 2 servers and were checked on frequently. We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere although I do wish the servers still wore masks since omicron is surging. We love going to the rooftop on sunny days but appreciated the rain stopping so we could walk around a bit after our meal. Make sure you get your rooftop fee deducted from your tab. It was $25 per person just to go to the rooftop so make sure you remind your server.

Great view, good food, attentive service.

By Denboy R |

This was an overall fun experience and well worth the $10 to get upstairs and see the sights the rooftop has to offer. Our waiter was great, very attentive and well informed about everything on the menu, their selection of beers was pretty good, and the food was great. They turned on some fire-pits once it got dark, and it was a great place to hang out, have some food, and relax with friends.

Perfect

We booked one of their igloos for dinner, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The sun set while we were eating, so the views were phenomenal. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the service was amazing. Saige was our server- super friendly and attentive, recommendations were great. We really enjoyed our time here. Thank you 9 Mile Station!

Make the reservation!

I’m visiting the area solo for work and Ponce City Market was recommended. I made myself brunch reservations at 9 Mile Station and was not disappointed. My waiter Jamar was super friendly, the food, drinks and atmosphere were top notch! Loved the “boardwalk” area you could explore on the roof as well! Would definitely recommend and will be back if I visit the area again!

Amazing View/Amazing Service

By Allen S |

We stopped here to check out the sunset, ordered a flight of beer and a bottle of wine. We sat out here in low 50’s and they had fires and heaters at request as well as blankets to wear. The view of the sunset and at dark were amazing, as was the service that we received.

Overpriced, poor service - disappointed

By Guide543200 |

I usually don't complain about service but this was a special occasion for our family that was ruined by this experience. The location and view were amazing, however the service/food didn't meet expectations for the price. We made the required reservations with the deposit for our family of 6 and requested outdoor seating but when we arrived, we were seated indoors. We ordered two appetizers but only received one. The server never came back to the table to check on our meal but I managed to flag him down for a 2nd drink which he never brought out to the table. I noticed the server standing by the bar and thought perhaps he was waiting on my drink but he was on his phone. Our food was served by the staff - not the server who never stopped back by the table, otherwise we would have been able to tell him one of the meals was burnt. As we completed our meal, we were able to notify another staff member/manager who comped the burnt meal and the two drinks but by then, our experience was ruined. For the price, I would expect better service and quality of food. I won't be back.

Average...At The Very Best

By craig1086 |

Came here to try the Sunday Brunch after seeing them listed in a Thrillist article for Atlanta's best brunches. I had high hope b/c this was my firstt time here, and I've known about the rooftop. Let me say that Ponce City Market has a lot going on, and more clear signage is needed, so you don't have to ask how to get to 9 Mile Station. Let's get to must-have info: If you don't make a reservation in advance(which costs $20 btw), you have to pay $10 per person just to go up to the rooftop. We showed up w/ no reservation. We've never seen that before, and felt that was unnecessary. But I paid it anyway, and up we went. Once we stepped into the restaurant, we were informed the $20 payment goes towards your bill, if you made reservation s in advance. Would've been nice to know that beforehand. Anyway, had the sticky bun, which was really good. Enough for four people to share. My g/f had the steak and egg sandwich, which she said was not good at all. Said the taste of onions was too much for her, and also that it was very bland. I had the eggs benedict, which was okay, but for $16, I expected the portion size to be bigger. Poached eggs, bacon, and spinach on a pretzel croissant. The croissant was delicious, but the spinach wasn't seasoned and almost ruined the taste of the dish. The liquor menu is very short, while the beer menu is expansive, which we both found confusing for a BRUNCH MENU. We each had a drink , so my bill came up to just under $100 for three dishes and two drinks. For what we orders I felt like I should've goten twice as much food. And once I added gratuity, I was well over $100 spent for a very mediocre brunch. Plus the $20 I paid just for us to get up there. Bummer. The rooftop views are amazing, and there are also games up there, such as miniature golf, basketball, and other fair type games. But for the price, find a better brunch.

Visiting Ponce City Market Rooftop for the first time

By 578jeanpaull |

We visited the Ponce City Market rooftop for the first time this past weekend. Here is what we learned: 1) It is not free, you need to pay for a pass to be able to enter. They have different price options based on what you want to do there. We bought the $10 per person pass just to get up to there. With that pass you can get up there, go to the restaurants and check the rooftop overall, but you can't play mini golf or any of the games. 2) What is up there? they have a mini carnival with fair-style games, they have a couple of concessions for food and drinks, 2 restaurants and a mini-golf. 3) The view of the city is amazing! I suggest going around sunset time when the weather is nice and not too hot not too cold. 4) We went to 9-mile restaurant, I think food and drinks are a little pricey, we ordered a patty melt sandwich recommended by our bartender and it was a big portion and very tasty. 5) I advise to get a reservation if you want to go for dinner, it cost $20/person but you can use it towards your final tab. 6) They have a couple of fire pit areas, very cozy when the weather is a little chilly for a group of 5 or more. 7) 21+ old after 6 pm, if you have minors in your party make sure you get there before 6 pm. Overall, I think is worth visiting, I actually think the fact that they charge per person to enter the place is a good idea to keep it less crowded and make it more enjoyable for those of us who care for a nice place for a drink and meals.

Horrible Service, average food (at best), nice views

By Sara N |

Proceed with caution. The view and the venue is great, lovely environment, and nice layout. Now that I got the only positives out of the way, lets get to the s**t show of their management. I booked a reservation, therefore paid 20$ per person as deposit. They state that the deposit is credited towards your bill. When it came time to pay, we kindly asked our waiter if instead of having only my card charged, we could just split the bill amongst the five of us. The waiter said "sure, no problem. I can do it per person based on what they ordered." Great! This was quickly followed by the most unpleasant woman I've ever encountered in the service industry -- their assistant manager. She proceeds to tell me very rudely "I understand you want to refund the deposit and split the check? We DO NOT do that. Our policy IS TO CHARGE and there is absolutely no refund." We were all taken aback since the waiter himself offered to do this so kindly and we didn't think any of it would be an issue. We legitimately felt we were treated as criminals trying to steal from the restaurant. This woman was angry at us for even thinking to try and do this. Aside from that, why would you even require people to pay a deposit just to reserve a table? I understand Atlanta is still a developing city but wow. Furthermore, the food was average at best and insanely highly priced for a panini in Atlanta. Cant say ill ever reserve again. I would highly advise against trying to deal with these people. The view is certainly nice but absolutely not nice enough to deal with that sort of tone and treatment from someone in the service industry.

Disappointing evening!

By Katesatrip |

I was in Atlanta last week for Americasmart Gift Show and wanted to book somewhere to dine other than downtown. There were 3 of us who thought this would be a great place to try out given other reviews. First, you have to pay a deposit to make a reservation. Odd. Second, to get to this restaurant was rather confusing and frankly, a hassle. There was no signage of where to find it from the drop off area in the mall. You have to find it and when you do, you will need to check in to a small building on the far end, which is the 'waiting' zone. You check-in, stand in line and then follow a guide to the loading area who walks you over to large freight elevator. Once loaded you make your way to the top. It was freezing cold, dark and one must have a internal compass because, once again, you have to guess where you are going to find the restaurant. Odd. I started with the arugula salad which was nice and fresh; the others ordered french fries, which were okay. The rest of the food, not so much. All the food is pickled, served cold and rather, well...odd! The pickled strange hummus board comes with no pita/bread and not really what most of us consider "hummus". We had to ask for bread. Odd. All of us ordered the fish and it was clearly past the "best if served by date". It was spoiled. It smelled and tasted awful and all of sent it back immediately. I never send food back to the kitchen. I felt bad for the waiter as we all responded with the same "yuck" comment. The restaurant manager was gracious and acknowledged the fish was not the best. While he was nice and sent out a couple of dishes to try, by that point the meal experience had taken its toll. On top of the already not-so-great meal experience, unfortunately, we ended up having to keep our coats on during dinner as we were seated by the outside door. Every time some one opened the door to leave, freezing air came rushing in and we literally were shaking from the cold outside air. Since all the food is served cold, except for the french fries, there was unfortunately nothing warm to consume. While I'm sure this location would be wonderful venue on a beautiful, warm, sunny day and offer a spectacular view of the Atlanta skyline, the food experience proved to be lackluster. Maybe it was the time of year. Maybe it was an 'off' night. Maybe it was just not our cup of tea. All of us were disappointed with quality of the food and the labyrinth of confusion to get to the top.

Our server Galileo...

On our trip to Atlanta we spent time at Ponce Market and ate on the rooftop at 9 mile station. The view was great as was the food but the best thing about the experience was the friendliness of our server Gilese.

Absolutely surprised to stumble upon this place! Amazing view of skyline! Great service! Clean! Yummy tapas! Be sure to make a reservation so you get your $20 taken off your bill to access the Ponce City Market rooftop. Rooftop has miniature golf, games, slide, ice skating

Fantastic restaurant with equally fantastic views!

By Morgan Rundquist |

I'm so glad we chose to eat here! There are so many options at Ponce City Market but this place definitely stands out. We went for brunch on my birthday weekend. The special the day we went was a lobster omelet, which according to our waiter was rare for them to even make omelets. I ordered the special and it was totally delicious! My husband ordered eggs benedict which looked great, but the real standout was the pretzel croissant that the eggs were served with. I could eat that croissant every day of my life, honestly! The offered a free dessert because it was my birthday, which was super sweet. I chose the smores skillet which was really good. The chef also included a second dessert for us for free which was creme brule. That was also delicious! I was really impressed with every aspect of this restaurant. I would love to go back in a warmer month and have dinner in the outside area that overlooks the city, because it looked gorgeous!

Just okay

By floridagirl1218 |

The atmosphere is nice. Our waiter was so nice. But the food was definitely not worth the price. It’s okay to experience but there will not be a return trip for us.

Go for sunset dining and stunning view. But staff is poor and not friendly.

By Anita J |

The best part of dining out at Nine Mile Station is definitely the view! What an amazing view of the Atlanta Skyline from Downtown, Midtown up to Buckhead. The Sunset is beautiful from the rooftop of Ponce City Market, where the Nine Mile Station restaurant is located. On the other hand, the staff is far below avarage and not of any help. Not very welcoming either. The food ( we shared 3 "large entree " platters, one by one with our party of 4. Extra pretzel bread asked, once received after we finished the platter (the cook had to bake it first) and always only 3 pieces. The schnitzel platter was not that good. The other 2 were great and tasted very good.

Amazing views!

First visit to this place, and we were greatly anticipating it. It was everything we hoped for. We had made a reservation in advance for Saturday evening. When the reservation is made, you are immediately charged a fee for each person. But no worries because the fee is credited to whatever you consume, and you will easily eat and drink over that amount. We had hoped to be seated by one of the fire pits, but they are first come, first served--and so no luck on that for us. But our table was fine. The wait staff is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. The menus are so interesting. A really unique selection of drinks. I especially liked the cocktail called Bonaventure Ave. The views all around were spectacular. What a great place to be at sunset. Our only complaint was that it became quite chilly after the sun went down. However, we were offered blankets which I accepted (a nice touch!). Also, there were some tall heaters spaced around, but none near our table. We were told by staff that there will be more heaters in the future including some for under the tables. One thing to remember is that when you are paying your bill, you need to tip not only on the amount you're paying then, but also on the deposit you paid when you made the reservation. Really enjoyed the atmosphere here and expect to return many times in the future.

Great View

We were very disappointed with the atmosphere and the food at Nine Mile Station. The only restaurant I know that requires a "per person" non-refundable deposit. The music was so loud you could not carry on a conversation. The food was less than average. The fish was so dry and tasteless. The Food Board was very skimpy. Yes, a beautiful view but I would recommend going there for the view and having drinks outside.

Finally!

Finally a restaurant in Atlanta with an Amazing view, great food, and excellent service (I hope they maintain this level). The ribs and schnitzel were especially good. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

Great Food/Views!

We enjoyed celebrating mother's day at this restaurant this past weekend. The views from the rooftop are amazing, really see everything from Buckhead, midtown to downtown. Our server Jessica was great and didn't miss a beat as far as taking orders and getting everything we needed. The food was really good and the drinks were also good though a bit pricey. We'll definitely be going back here and recommend it to everyone else.

So so.

The hype was greater than the actual experience. The food and wine were average, customer service was good.

We went to Nine Mike Station

We went to Nine Mike Station a few weeks ago. Everyone ordered the burgers. Sadly the burger that were requested medium rare arrived well done. We spoke to our waitress who acted swiftly and gave us fires to tied us over. Then Ryan Crocker, manager came by to apologize and offered us all drinks on the house. The new burgers arrived quickly and were delicious. Thanks Ryan and team for turning this around quickly. Great customer service

Location Location Location

Atmosphere was great, views were amazing, prices were expected for location of restaurant. The menu consits of German American food but is a bit limited on choice. Was very disappointed they didn't have perogies on the menu. They don't have a kids menu but will accommodate children easily if asked with the standard kid's choices. The reservation policy/requirement of $20 per person 12 and up on food/beverage was acceptable for the view and atmosphere. The food was ok. I am not saying it was bad but we expected alot more in flavor. Wifey had the pork belly...presentation was great but belly itself was a touch over done. Atmosphere and views outshine the food...But I would visit again.

My family took me to this place and I will definitely revisit. The food was reasonable and tasted good as well. Both the hostess and waitress were nice/welcoming.

View of Atlanta

Went to this restaurant because of the skyline and view of Atlanta. They had the Igloo Experience. It was for 8 of us. Made the reservation and non refundable deposit of $150 to reserve the Igloo. We had to spend at least $50 and 25% gratuity for each person. The igloo was roomy and warm because the night we went was misty rain and chilly. The food was okay nothing to write home to momma about. The drink called Fleek Sauce was good. Wish we had done this at sunset instead of at night. Couldn't enjoy the rooftop view because of the mist and it was late night. Basically an overpriced igloo experience

quality in decline

the restaurant used to be good - now it feels like just another place falling victim to very reduced level and quality while maintaining same high price of products and services

On a nice evening the ambiance is great

First, make a reservation. That will save you the $10/pp elevator ride to the venue. Then, request a table outside if the evening is nice. This is rooftop dining so sit outside. You are likely to be seated at a picnic table for 8, so if you have a party of four you will make some new friends. Food - very good. We tried several dishes and shared. Nothing was less then a B+ with some As thrown in. Beverages: Soooo, I met the main beer guy and he was a fine chap. The beer list was good, but not really Beer Garden good. So you'll get some good ones, but nothing way off the beaten path. Outside of beer the beverage selection gets pretty dicey. Wine list is limited at best. A big zero on dessert wines, cordials and aperitifs. Service: disappointing. All servers were very nice but not very proactive so you might get your food well before your flatware, or have fairly protracted waits between drink order and drink delivery. All that said, the view on a nice night makes up for it and I would encourage a visit.

Everything was delicious!

This restaurant was everything and a bag of chips (old school saying lol). Customer service, food, drinks and ambiance was 10 out of 10. Almost all of the patrons weren't wearing masks whether they were eating or not. All staff had on masks. The restrooms were clean.

Lunch

Food quality is very poor and overpriced. I took my family and paid $118.00 for four burgers and 1 drink. If you want lettuce and tomato that was extra. I also had to pay an elevator fee to get up to the restaurant.

This is what a beer garden should look like.

Hosted my husband's surprise 40th party here. My guests were so intrigued. Almost all said they would come back. Indoor seating is great for cool days, out door seating has fire pits and picnic benches with fire towers. They even give you blankets if it's too nippy! There is sooooo much to see or do on the rooftop. You can play putt-putt golf, people watch, marvel at the city's skyline, or just sample great brew. The staff is AMAZING!!! Grace and crew went above and beyond to make my husband's day special. Major PRO: DRINK MENU. I mean, it is a beer garden after all.
