Loud music at 6PM. Less than average service. Food was nice. Over priced and not a good value.

Ruben and Jason were excellent - Lester the Captain came over and was very nice with us. food was delicious. Beautiful place and nice vibe

Fabulous atmosphere, great service, even better food; we loved AVA. From appetizers to the main courses, all were perfectly plated and delivered. The Chilean Sea Bass in particular was outstanding. Our server Shantall was exceptional. We’d highly recommend for a special occasion!

This guy Dairo was an absolute legend. Was incredibly kind and took great care of us. Hugo was also amazing. Will definitely be back to see my friend Dairo. I really appreciate the service.

Last saturday night at AvA i had an amazing evening , thanks our amazing bartender Gabriel, he did recommend wonderful courses and flavorful cocktails for us, definitely coming back to enjoy his recomendations at AVA .

Five of us went to Ava as part of a New Year's reunion with old friends, & from the time we were seated in what felt like a comfortable inner sanctum with golden lighting & contemporary Greek music, until we finished the last bite of dessert, the experience was exceptional. The waitstaff were warm & attentive, (a shout out to our great waiter, Taha,) but not cloying. The prices were relatively high, but, the food was truly well worth the price paid. Five of us shared a 2lb grilled Branzino fish, light, sweet & exquisite, & done to perfection, in addition to grilled sea bass, & a light, delicately seasoned chicken dish. We shared appetizers, a creative & delicious grilled asparagus salad with pomegranate & quinoa, mushrooms, an appetizer of three spreads, incl red pepper, beet humus, & one other sprinkled with pomegranate aerils - all delicious. We shared two desserts, including a Dubai style chocolate mousse souffle with pistschio cream, & chocolate malt ice cream, & frozen Greek yogurt ice cream, which came served as a small tower of ice cream with pistachios & honey. I only wish this restaurant was near us but we'll have to return to Miami again to get back to Ava. We'll look forward to the next time, for sure!

Amazing and attentive service by Marija and the entire staff. 10/10 dining experience. Everything we tried was done with intentionality and care. The truffle pasta is out of this world.

The service was bad, the people working their starting with the hostess was terrible. Everything else was meh. No need to go back.

Place is beautiful and the food much better. I feel living in greece for one night. We eat at the bar with some delicious drinks. I can not forget the name of Ivan. He made our night amazing with his service and hospitality. Taking the time to explain everything. He went above and beyond with his service

Just had dinner for the first time at Ava in Coconut Grove. We didn’t have a reservation so we sat at the bar with access to the full menu. Ivan took great care of us and the food was delicious! Highly recommend!

It’s incredibly unfortunate that I need to write this review, as the food and wait staff (especially our waiter, Raul) were excellent. The whole experience was tainted upon arrival by the hostess. A friend booked our dinner reservation and did not relay to me the dress code. I showed up in a dress that meets their “elegant chic” dinner attire but in leather sandals. That, in fairness, was on us. But the look on this woman’s face, as she looked me up and down to make a totally unnecessary moment out of it, was pure disgust. I was told in an incredibly arrogant tone that I wouldn’t be allowed in based on that alone but that she would make an exception since we were there celebrating a birthday. Keep in mind, this restaurant’s location is a little over a month old, it was half empty the entire night, and we were coming in to drop $1,000+ on the dinner (and we still did, despite all this)… Rather than be hospitable as a new restaurant trying to establish itself to well-paying customers, she chose to be unnecessarily conceited. I have dined at Michelin star restaurants around the world for decades. And I get it, she was just “doing her job.” But this isn’t the first time I’ve encountered minor dress code issues like this. Every other host or hostess I’ve come across has used their better judgment in how to speak to guests in these types of situations - they just let it go and don’t say anything at all. This one was a narrow-minded snob, so self-important and full of herself, and clearly inexperienced. This exchange ruined the entire night for me. Had I not been out with a group, I would’ve left immediately and never gone back. This place will never be on my list of recommendations to anyone in my network. Management can thank their hostess for that.

Great place, very welcoming ambience. Good quality food and service up to par. A good place to spend the afternoon. We will come back

Amazing experience Cameron is the best bartender! So knowledgeable about the whole menu and the cocktails. Cannot recommend enough! The outside bar is my favorite.

Absolutely loved it. Everything was on point—the cocktails were perfectly crafted, and the Nyxx Amber was truly next level. Our bartender, Gabriel, delivered exceptional service and such great energy. The food was outstanding as well. Highly recommend this new spot—an absolute must-visit.
