Worth every Pennie. Morgan Cuban star

By advisor DS |

Small buffet but all you can eat lobster tails, whole lobsters, snow crab, shrimp and much more. Our server was very quick and refills and removing dirty plates. The food was fresh and the price is worth the value. You need to make a reservation I want to personally thank Morgan Cuban. My wife made the wrong reservation. Morgan went out of her way to fix the issue and get us a table on the correct date. Thanks again Morgan. The place is very clean and I look forward to going back again.

Great food and great price

By Brian M |

The food was good and diverse. $17.99 for lunch. But, if you get a rewards card (station card), you can save $5-$8 per person. You don’t even have to spend anything before using the discount. We would go back.

Food ok, service not ok

By M. D |

Too long of wait to get seated within a half empty dining room. (Lunch). The dining room host seemed to be just going through the motions. Food was ok to good, but seemed to be limited selections. The physical dining area is very nice. I doubt that I would return, too many other places to try. Perhaps at other times it can be quite good.

Solid buffet for your money

By CNB89144 |

My husband and I ate here with some friends. It had recently opened, so a lot of information I was finding on-line was incorrect, so as if today, this information is correct to my knowledge. The buffet has lunch and dinner. They close between so there is no bleed over. They have regular buffet nights and then special ones. Wednesday is lobster (the line is ridiculous) and crab and prime rib on Fridays. Initially, the lines were long everyday, but we just walked in on a Tuesday with no wait. All the employees were very nice, our waiter was great. They had a nice selection of food. A wonderful salad area, 2 carving stations, the brisket was my favorite of everything. I started with the BBQ section, they also had Asian, shrimp, a nice selection of American food favorites. They had some good jerk chicken wings. They had a pasta station that I did not hit up, but an italian section with pizza and pasta options. The dessert section was good. Lots of small desserts so you can get lots of tastes in. They also have Gelato and a soft serve machine. I personally would like some more fresh vegetables, but otherwise good food for a decent buck. I do not think you can go wrong with this choice.

AYCE Lobster Buffet

By Voyage08247790781 |

A must go when you’re in Vegas Wed/Thurs. The only buffet that served AYCE whole lobster, in Wed and Thursday. In addition, you also get lobster tail and crab legs, suggestion make reservations ahead of time for 4pm just as thru open (3:30) so less waiting time. They serve choice of 1 whole, 1 tail and a scoop of crab legs each time you go and go as many times you want. My spouse had 9 lobster total including 3 scoops of crab legs. It is pricey $79/p but oh soooo worth it!

MEH

By MV25 |

It was just “okay”. I would not pay more than $36.00 for this buffet. I sampled everything on this buffet. Highlights were the salad bar, mash potatoes, smoked beef brisket, collard greens, Mac and cheese, and stromboli. Everything else was MEH because it was over cooked, not seasoned, and dry. The jackfruit bulgogi DRY, prime rib DRY, cornbread DRY, the peeled shrimp was WARM, the POKE was warm. The desserts were not worth the calories. The desserts had no flavor to them. The only thing I liked in the dessert section was the mango sorbet and the powdered wedding cookies. All the other desserts were bland. This buffet has a lot of potential. I hope they make changes to it. The service was excellent. The waitstaff was very attentive filling our drinks and clearing our plates. I don’t think we will be back.

BETTER ADVERTISING THAN REALITY

By Fabio S |

From the descriptions it looked great! But in reality that's not really the case! Let's start by saying that there isn't all this variety of food. Some things I could almost say are inedible, but being a buffet you couldn't expect to find a 5 star luxury restaurant! But I must say that the meat cooked on the BBQ was good. Large selections of desserts, but in conclusion, the food selection was limited and of poor quality I wouldn't recommend it!

Superb

By Chris M |

We went for the Friday night Prime Rib buffet. Everything was EXCELLENT. From the salads to the dessert. Jennifer took excellent care of us. This was our first visit, and we will be back....for sure! Thank you Mary, Jennifer and all the staff for such a great experience.

Ah, Vegas! The secrets you keep...

By Ken N |

Overhyped. We got there right after they opened, booked the reservation. Did not get in until near closing time so did not have much time to eat all you can... They limited 1 lobster per run and slow at serving. The lobster was cold and bland even though they appear steamed at the station. Same with the crab legs and we had to go hunt for the crab cracker else no way to eat the legs. Drowning them in drawn butter could not save them. Salad bar and soup was OK but who wants to gorge on them? Dessert was being broken down so will not know what it was like. Oh well. So like the Winn's, does not live up to the hype but if you must try before you die, have at it. You will be disappointed.

Great service!

Thank you to Wendy! My husband and I had a GREAT time eating here because of her respectful, and professional service. Wendy has to be the best waitress you could ever ask for.

Tons of seafood AND open for dinner!

By Angie W |

A.Y.C.E (All You Can Eat) buffet in the Palms Las Vegas is a little known gem, or so we thought until we arrived. We went on a Wed. which is "All you can eat lobster night" for about $65.00/person (kids are less). There were not only lobster tails, but whole lobsters, which surprised us. Snow crab legs, jumbo shrimp, sushi, salad bar, brisket and deserts are only a few of the other items available. Crab lovers night is on Thurs. and I assume there is most likely king crab as well as the snow crab. This is one of the ONLY Vegas buffets that serve dinner aka supper. Most other buffets close at 3 pm. IMPORANT TIP: the average wait for this buffet is 2 hours. Be sure to check in with the reservations person who is to the right of the line. They will get your phone number and text you when your table is ready. You do not need to stand in line for the 2 hour duration. There are plenty of slots to play on during the wait time. MUST TRY: pot stickers. The outside is slightly sweet and the pork on the inside has a smoked flavor. My husband said the brisket was the best he has ever had. We enjoy sharing our dining experiences with others in hopes of guiding them to the best places!

Boring food

By Rodion Lyayfer |

We went to this place because of all the good reviews. We stayed in the line around 40 minutes during lunch time on Friday and after all got almost tasteless food. Selection was big but not huge, all the food was super simple and didn't have good taste. I honestly tried to have a piece of each item that looked interesting for me but didn't like almost anything. Some food (clams, meat) was over salted. Only item that I liked was chowder. My wife had same impression about food. So I honestly don't understand why people put such a good reviews and overall rating is 4/5. Definitely not worth the drive, money and time. PS: now it's hard to image what buffets with 3 or 3.5 starts are offering :D

Low Quality & Bland Food

By Tony R |

Me and my family went to Vegas for vacation. A bunch of my friends told me to go to the Palms Casino and go to their buffet. They said it was very good. we went there to the prime rib and crab legs on Friday at 4 Pm. First thing the restaurant was really clean we love the way it looked. The Hostess did seat us down and she was very nice. Now the second thing, the food was bland the prime rib that everybody supposedly thought was delicious, was not. It wasn't seasoned at all and for people to say that the prime rib was delicious, they don't know what real prime rib tastes like. They need to season their food more. Now for the crab legs, you could tell they weren't fresh. They were frozen. They weren't swee,t they were just OK, nothing serious. We did try other foods too, but once again, everything was bland, no flavor. When it came up to the desserts, the crem brulee didn't taste like crem brulee, their jello was very watered down. I know they have to save money, but they need to serve some quality too. Once again, the place was nice, but the food needs a lot of help. If you're asking, will I go back there again? No. There are other buffets in town that I would try, but you would figure giving $45 a person, it should taste better than that. But for some places they just don't care... I wish they did. Thank you.

Perfect Thanksgiving buffet

By lbridgeman |

Wasn’t expecting so many fabulous choices. The crab legs were pre cut so easy to eat. Full lobsters and lobster tails. Turkey cooked very moist ,ham, brisket that was very tender, sirloin and all the sides. Oh wait forgot the turkey legs big enough to feed 3. There were other options like pizza. Tamales. Hummus dishes. Poke and Waldorf salad that reminded me of the one my grandma made. Plenty of desert options if you had room. The price was high but the quality of food was superb. Staff was very friendly and quick to remove plates and fill drinks.

All Spicy!

By jaimeandlucy2016 |

For this late lunch visit, we were 2 couples. 2 Vegetarians, me that likes and can eat almost anything and my wife who is a diabetic and highly sensitive to spicy and acidic foods. Our vegetarian friends found enough choices for their diet although they said there weren't many protein choices. For me, there were plenty of choices from various cuisines but, every thing I tried was mundane. I love collard greens but, it was very disappointing. For my wife however, there was salad! Really, that was nearly all she could eat without an acid or some heat (spicy). I mean who would think that chicken pot pie would be spicy? It was and quite spicy. She left hungry. As for the deserts, there was a decent assortment and the gelato bar was great. Overall though, based on price, atmosphere and assortment, I would still come back.

Excellent!!

By Paloma P |

Excellent food and service from Salvador also excellent!! Always super attentive that everything was perfect

Average

By EvaPrada |

I have been a few times in Las Vegas already and I have tried several buffets there. I must said this was the most average of all of them. We went on friday which is prime rib dinner special and I have to say that beside the rib everything was just average. I would not recommend, for me the long queue that froms to enter the place it is not justified at all.

Loved this place!

By Kelly W |

I had a beautiful brunch this past weekend at the AYCE Buffet - fortunately for me, LOTS of vegan options! And almond milk for coffee! Rarely does a buffet have vegan / vegetarian options but this one does and they do a GREAT job! The food was flavorful, hot, and so tasty after a long Vegas weekend! My server, Wendy, was so sweet, so helpful, totally on top of it and I always had everything I needed! Thank you Wendy and the rest of the staff at AYCE Buffet for an awesome brunch! I will be back!

Worth it!

By Jake M |

Very fairly priced for what you get! Cost about $50USD per person for dinner and you get a ton of options. Personal favorites are the crab legs and prime rib. One of the top buffets in Vegas without a doubt!

Antonia Rocks!

By Mikel S |

Food was good. Antonia made awesome pasta and very friendly and entertaining. The line to get in was long but worth it. Crab legs were amazing.

Reasonably Priced Brunch Buffett

By Christine S |

Located off the strip in the Palms Hotel. Nice reasonably priced Sunday brunch Buffett with plenty of selections including shrimp and crab legs. You get 1-1/2 hours to eat. Which was plenty off time to get stuffed. Service staff was excellent. Constantly attentive to needing refills on drinks and clearing the table of used dishes. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good but reasonably priced Buffett while in Vegas.

Friday dinner

By familyfuno4 |

The A.Y.C.E buffet is a reasonable price buffet with nice options. Friday is crab leg and prime rib. At $43.99/person, you can't beat the price. It's not the largest buffet and there is a 1 1/2 hour limit, but, for the price, it should be tried! The prime rib was seasoned perfect! The wait staff was very attentive! We were pleasantly pleased with our dinner!

Horribly Friday night prime rib and crab legs

By s b |

We patiently waited for crab legs, as they were offering them to be heated from it being ice down, some woman manager was walking and noticed a line of people waiting patiently which apparently she did not approve of and yelled over to the chefs no more warning up crab legs?? Now instead of cutting off the last person in line the chef decided to just cut off people right in the middle? Of course those people including myself were upset, and totally ruined our mood for seafood? 2nd complaint was the quality to this buffet, if you believe my post or not pictures don't do justice, i will post a picture to the size of the snow crab legs that was cold that was being served, was totally a joke, this is week 3 to there opening, we all know brand new business too attract people, in the beginning, it's all quality and slowly it dwindles, , i couldn't believe took this buffet 3 weeks to start going down, on week 2 i went to there lobsters buffet, on a Wednesday, and ok hands down 5 stars, but week 3 Friday night, totally forget it, don't disappoint yourselves, so far South Point Friday night seafood buffet did not disappoint, however be patient with there horrendous line, but you will be satisfied..

Waiting too long. In terms of food quality, it is not worth to try.

By Daphne |

Not worth it. Food quality is not good. We waited for over 5 hours. Not because my other friends had patience and wanted to wait, I would leave for Wynn seafood buffet right away.

Lives Up To It’s Name - AYCE

By ayrfoodie |

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet so much we returned for a brunch one the next day. Servers were wonderful and regularly topped up our coffees & mimosas. Food was lovely. We had no issues with it. Plenty of choices for everyone. Lady at the omelette station was very pleasant and cooked them just as we asked for. Sign up for a Player’s Card. It takes a few minutes and saves about $5 per person. Give this buffet a try!

Our New Favorite!

By John Z |

A great experience, we can’t wait to come back. Great food, great service, Wendy was incredible! Brought some friends visiting from out of town and it was a great choice!

Sunday brunch

By dontlikegray |

We decided to check this buffet as it’s been awhile since we have been in Vegas. I watched a bunch of YouTubers saying this place is good. I would say the buffet has a great layout and a large selection of items. Popular choices like prime rib shrimps and snow crab legs. They also have breakfast choices as we went on a Sunday. Very clean and tidy - great service with beverages. I wish there were more Asian choices.

Unlimited Lobster

By Nicole P |

Reasonably priced for Vegas. Extensive selections - I think we counted 30 dessert options. Inside the Palms, which is off the strip so we took an Uber. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. Unlimited whole lobsters, unlimited lobster tails, unlimited crab legs and so much more. This is a big buffet with some great choices. Most of the food was above average. Can dress up or be comfortable and casual - we saw it all. LOVE that they put metal pails for easy disposal right on the tables. Drinks were not outrageously priced. Very good customer service. Buffet items were never empty.

Unique Breakfast Buffet Items

By gypsylady002a |

So much better since it's been renovated. I love their Breakfast Buffet cuz they have so many unique food items you don't see on most buffets - quiche, tapioca pudding topped with fresh fruit, cauliflower grits, pesto egg dish and wonderful fresh squeezed Mango juice that they always run out of!! They have a great selection of fresh fruit too. They have the standard items like omelettes, bacon, sausage and pancakes, etc. and a nice variety of pastries/breads. I've tried their lunch buffet but i really prefer the breakfast buffet. Be sure to get a Player's Card so you get the discount.

The Rating Is Misleading

By JRMADA |

This is not a high quality Buffet as rated here and on YouTube. We had breakfast here and were highly disappointed. The food was not very well prepared as it was either undercooked or overcooked. The coffee served at our table was burnt and had a very unpleasant smell while the orange juice was watered down and rancid. The desserts were just sweet and no flavor at all. The servers were OK (doing the best they can with the bad food and drinks). The omelet/egg station was the least of the worst and the only food we ate there. The bread is a joke as you only get sliced and wholegrain or white. The place looks tired and in need of a remodel. Don't waste your money or time here. We will NOT return.

Mixed Feelings on Our First Visit

By Sandra P |

My husband and I visited A.Y.C.E Buffet for the first time after reading many positive reviews. Upon arrival, the cashier was very friendly, and the food overall was quite good. The waitstaff was also very kind and attentive throughout our meal. However, our experience took a turn that left us feeling disappointed. No one mentioned that the buffet would be closing temporarily before reopening for dinner, which would have helped us better plan our visit. My husband enjoys taking his time at buffets, but on this occasion, he had to take work calls, which made our meal a bit longer than usual. As the buffet approached closing time, we were surprised to hear staff announcing that we only had 5 minutes left, and we noticed that food was already being removed. One of the waitresses kindly came over and advised me to grab dessert quickly before it was taken away, which I appreciated. That said, a 15-minute advance notice would have been more courteous and less stressful. The worst part of our experience was the behavior of a woman who seemed to be a host or supervisor. She walked past us with a very rude tone, stating we had only 2 minutes left. Later, a much nicer staff member offered my husband plastic cups to take the remaining food he hadn’t finished, and I took a few small desserts to go. But as we were leaving, the same rude woman stopped and told me I wasn’t allowed to take anything out—despite having just been told otherwise by another staff member. The food and ambiance were decent, but this kind of treatment—especially from someone in a leadership or hosting role—left a very negative impression. Sadly, it's the first time I've ever left a buffet feeling this uncomfortable.

We could’ve been more disappointed

By John M |

We could’ve been more disappointed as we came all the way from Vancouver British Columbia for our anniversary and planned it around the Wednesday night (only) lobster Buffet. They do not take reservations, however their website clearly advertises 2 PM to 9 PM. sittings. We arrived at 5 PM (however, prepared for a long wait )and were told they were closed for the day.. we feel this is just a con to get us to leave our hotel of origin and gamble here. We will not return.

The best AYCE Buffet at Palms

By hung t |

We visited the AYCE buffet for dinner June 21st, it's very fair price, good varieties food and excellent service, clean and very nice inside. Our waitress is Jennifer, she had an excellent personality, smiling face and great service. We are satisfied food, environment. Next trip we think will stay at Palms. We loved it.

Trying the palms

By Brw |

Over all dinner was fine. Our waiter Salvatore was the best. But not someplace I would come again. But there's free parking which is nice. But they need to start taking reservations. And the dessert line should only be for gelato because of you just want a piece of cake you'll get trapped.

To smokey...

By Debbie W |

While the food was pretty good, not as good as the Bellagio, but also not as expensive. Steamed crab legs are on the menu. Too smoky for me around the casino.

Simple food cheap price

By 262michaelm262 |

Decent food options but some flavors too powerful. Heavily flavored fish tasted confusing.. creamy lime?? Tri-tip med rare but tough. Turkey was great!!. Soups were surprisingly tasty nice French onion was hot and flavorful. Weak main dishes but better sides made up for the lackluster offerings. Did the lunch - dinner and $15 is what you get.

Really good value buffet at Vegas

By 2compadres |

We went to dinner for the first time to AYCE buffet last Thursday Dec 26 mainly because I read some good reviews about this buffet and I agree this is the best value buffet that I've tasted in Vegas, definitively you have more food selections in Baccanal at Caesar's or The Buffet at Wynn but talking about money vs food, this buffet is really a good option (I paid $129.88 for 2 people at The Buffet at Wynn and just $49.98 for the same 2 people at AYCE and even you have $2 discount with Palms player card) and no waiting time, service was good and the food taste good, believe me this buffet worth it for this price. (by the way, the chicken wings and brisket taste really good)

Decent buffet but expect to wait

By SBVegasAdventures |

Went for the Lobster buffet because there are few places where you can get all you can eat Lobster. Price as of 1/2025 was $80 per person plus tip which is expensive for a dinner buffet but worth it because they did have a lot of lobster. Reservations are required and I was very disappointed that even though we had reservations, we STILL had to wait in line an hour and a half! Don't worry though, they won't run out of Lobster, there was plenty. In fact, you may be tired of it after you leave. All the food there was good and I especially enjoyed the pot stickers. I don't always leave a tip at a buffet but service was top notch and the tip was deserved. Our waiter was constantly at the table refilling drinks and clearing empty plates. Was it worth it? Yes, I feel it was so go try it. No, how was the lobster? Keep in mind they literally prepare thousands of lobsters each night so don't expect a gourmet meal but you will certainly get your full.

So Glad The Palms Buffet Is Back Open

By SRock G |

This buffet was good before COVID. After COVID it has reopened and is even better. Great selection. Several carving stations. Huge dessert selection. Great service.

Deteriorating Quality and Service

By mplstravel |

The quality and service at this buffet has really deteriorated in the year since we were there last. Many of the food stations were not staffed properly, the offerings were not noted correctly, and the hot food was generally served Luke-warm and heavy on sauces so that it was hard to identify exactly what the ingredients were. The salad bar and dessert bar were equivalent to what was served at the rock bottom buffets pre-covid. At the carving station, no chicken, no roast beef, no turkey - just ham and pork. And the pork that was thrown (yes, thrown) on my plate was a mound of fat. We had just had brunch at the Bellagio buffet a day earlier, and although the Bellagio brunch was $10 more, the quality and service was at least 2X better.

2.5 hour wait, no reservations

By Mary T |

This place does not take reservations via phone nor online. (I called twice - never picked up). I was also told by them in person that they don't make reservations. I had a flight to catch at 11pm so I showed up to the buffet around 4pm and had to stand in a 15 min. line to make a reservation. Once they placed my name in, they told me its a 2.5 hour wait. I asked for a sooner time since I had a flight to catch but I was turned down. So, I decided that it wasn't worth my time to wait and went elsewhere. I peeked at their tables and there were plenty of open tables. I believe they were purposefully making people wait so that they could spend more money at the casino. Huge mistake, I will never spend my money at this casino. If you value your time, choose elsewhere. Not worth the time.

Best Buffet in Vegas!!!

By surfercharlie |

My wife had been wanting to try the AYCE Lobster buffet at The Palms for a long time. I dont eat shellfish, but she loves it, and we finally got a chance to go. OMG! This buffet is EXCELLENT!! I dont even like lobster, but tried a lobster tail and it was delicious! The crab legs were good too! While my wife consumed several more lobster tails, I moved on to try other offerings. The sirloin roast was as tender and tasty as high quality prime rib. The beef brisket was excellent. Pork belly was amazing! Pork verde - delicious. The salads were so fresh and good. The little wedge salads were awesome. I tried several things I had never heard of, like jackfruit curry and forbidden rice. The stromboli was bursting with flavor. The desseets were decadent and divine! Every single item I tried was so delicious! I cannot say that about any other buffet I have ever been to anywhere. Our server was terrific. So worth the $64.99 pp. and the 2 hour wait. I would love to go again!

UMMM…YUMMM DELICIOUS!!!

By Selicia Ross |

My first time here and I mousy say the Saturday brunch here is WILD!! Every single thing you could wish for is here- charcuterie, creamy polenta with eggs, waffles, eggs Benedict, all the desert I can eat, sushi and tri-tip!! I loved it all!! But what really made my visit special was the top notch service I received from my server, Ele. Very upbeat with a. Sweet smile and such a pleasant attitude, you can tell he truly loves his job. I hope the AYCE knows what a treasure they have in this man!! Try the delicious buffet and don’t forget to make reservations! And tell them Ms. Ross sent you!!

Good food, even better service, especially for a buffet

By HappyTravler_9 |

Went on a Thursday as we were looking to enjoy lobster tail and this seemed to be the best option for that. We made the right choice. I had pretty much just lobster tail, and some yummy desserts. It was really good. My friends ate some of the other items and said it was good too. Our waiter Salvador made the meal just right. Took good care, kept our drinks full and our table clean, with a friendly smile every time. Highly recommend. Worth the $80 it cost.

Birthday dinner worthy

Celebrated my birthday dinner here with friends. Great tasting food and amazing service. Salvador was a great server and so attentive!

Not Good

By Ken H |

We are there Feb. Although I have never had prison food, if given a choice I would choose a tray before this buffet. I'm not exactly sure what the after taste in everything was but you will never forget it. I seriously questioned every piece of meat on the buffet and spit it out. I'm not a picky eater and will usually eat anything and not complain. Seriously I'm a human trash can when it comes to food and this was not eatible. $17.50 a person. Don't waste your money. I would recommend eating road kill raw before dining here. I think a pack of rabid raccoons would eat here. This was the located at The Palms Hotel in Las Vegas. Save yourself the disappointment on this place.

VERY OVER PRICED BUFFET

By yankee-peddler |

Dined for lunch on 8/30. Got in line at 10:40AM and was seated approx 11:05AM. Line was short but moved very slow. Right off the bat let me say most people were there for the crab legs. Some filling up several plates. The legs were small and I did not see the big draw. There was dry roast pork. The sliced ham was good. Steak was well done and tough. The desserts were the best thing there and that was only a 3 star. I overall rated a 2 star because the price. for 3 people the price was very close to $170. Would I return....HECK NO. This buffet compares to Golden Corral without crab legs.

Food not good and manager that was on duty no kind of help,

By Reggie S |

First thing is that your buffet area should have something for people that have an disability are disable so they don’t have to wait in the long line; you have folks just walking up to the other register that says diamond and paying while other folks has been waiting for a while, Some of the food stations had dry out food, there not a lot of good selection anymore I see after Covid palms has went down hill, prices went up but the food are not good anymore; pay a little bit more for another buffet and get better food.

Excellent service

By Niko Siaden |

Wendy was our amazing and outstanding waiter this early afternoon. She was bouncing back and forth between our 2 tables as if it was nothing! No one ever had to raise our hand for more drinks, refills, etc. With their busy circumstances, Wendy was off the charts with her service. Thank you so much!

If you want to go, we recommend booking at least 5 days in advance as it is popular and you wait

By ラブシーホークス |

It was delicious, but 1.5H Wait and enter. Reservations can be made, but not less than 5 days before you go. It happened to be a Friday, and the lobster pasta was delicious.

Disappointing

By S S |

It was very average. The sweets/desserts section was the best part of the buffet. There was an omelet station but no one was around to make them. Kudos to gluten free and vegetarian options.

The food and the service was amazing I recommend this place to anybody that comes to Viva Las Vegas and make sure you stay at the palms

Best value meal in town

By Dunebuggy12345 |

Best brunch value in Vegas. $32.99 for weekday brunch is only a dollar more than Luxor, Excal, MGM and much better quality and nearly half the cost off the other brunches. The food was great but the wait staff were exceptional. I wish I knew their names to praise them here. Everything was so good that I returned a second time during our trip. Best value meal in town!

Good Buffet

By TVB |

Heard some good things about this place from YouTube and I agree, this is a good buffet. Why? - Almost all of their meat dishes are good. Your typical buffet will have lots of meat selection but usually it is too dry and not that tasty. This buffet will give you decent selection and it is more juicy meat (and it obviously tastes good). I thought it was so good that I did not have enough room in my stomach to eat all they offered. - Soups were good (I liked their Zuppa Toscana and Tomato Brisque). - Some nice veggie dishes (specifically the baby bok choy was done well). - Liked their Fried Rice (not your typical fried rice as they used some sticky rice but it worked). Your typical buffet will give you lots of selection but they tend to hold back a little on the quality of each selection. This Buffet will give you less selection but give better quality on certain selections. Well Done, A.C.Y.E. Buffet!

Excellent customer service-Maria

By Erin S |

The food was good, but it was the customer service that got the win! Maria was fantabulous! Right there for everything you need with a beautiful smile. It’s employees like this that make you want to come back.

Mediocre at best

By William D |

Well, they tried but execution left a great deal to be desired. Looong line wait to get in despite empty tables. Food cold, tasteless, and waaaay OVERPRICED. standout was broccoli cheddar soup and some desserts

Disappointing!

By g a |

Lobster cold and slimy. Prime rib was beef jerky. Brisket was super smokey but tasted like a trash fire. Very disappointed in the $70 dinner. One tail at a time is a waste of time. They do this on purpose. Will not return ever.

Might be going downhill

By jerome h |

Wrote a review about 8 years ago. Thought they were much better back then. This time it didn't seem like they had much variety as before. Maybe because it was a Monday night, still at $50 bucks a person it should've been better. 7 of us- $350! The fish was dry with no flavor, no fried chicken, only one kind of rice, dessert station was decent but the ice cream machine looked like a cheap carnival cruise, ice cream all over the place. I had some first timers to Vegas and brought them here because of last time. Looks like it might be my last time.

Delicious option!

By Claudia R |

It's a delicious, fresh, tasty restaurante, the place is very nice & the service very good. We ate shrimp 🍤 red curry . Chicken teriyaki plate. The presentation and the cleanest at the restaurant we love it !

Great Service, thanks Jackie!

By William R |

My wife and I really like the A.Y.C.E. Buffet. Not as big as a lot of others, but better food quality than most. On our most recent visit in August, my wife And I had a fantastic dinner with excellent service. The floor manager, Jackie was particularly helpful. We really appreciate the extra effort!

Very friendly buffet

By ugoEngland |

First time visit to the buffet and we were impressed by the atmosphere and friendly very attentive staff. We didn’t visit on one of the seafood nights, the food selection was good but not as extensive as other buffets on the strip. The food quality was good. The most pleasant part of our visit was not feeling rushed at any point and our lovely server offering us coffee at the end when he saw we were on to desserts this was a nice touch. For the price can not fault this buffet.

Seafood heaven

By LuxeGirlNYC |

I don't eat seafood but my mom LOVES lobster tail and crab legs. AYCE has been on my radar since they started the seafood night a few years back. It took awhile to get here because I refused to waste a day securing a spot at a buffet (their old system) but now that they accept actual reservations, I figured we'd give it a try. We had an early reservation (5:30) and that was a good choice because there was only one other person ahead of us. When we left (around 7:00), the line was much longer. I was afraid there wouldn't be anything for me to eat but there were several options. Nothing blew me away but it was fine. It was actually a little better than I expected. The important thing is my mom enjoyed the lobster and crab legs. She ate her weight in seafood. She's already talking about coming back next year. The service was very good. Our server was very attentive, emptying the shell bucket often and refilling our drinks frequently.

Great

By Cornel B |

Delicious food (breakfast and brunch), friendly and helpful service, great quality/price ratio, free self-parking. Enjoy it!

Amazing!

By Kevin B |

Antonia is by far the best part of the buffet! My lobster special pasta was absolutely incredible! The BBQ is also amazing! We always stop here when we’re in town.

Not a New England lobster Buffet

By Lori A |

Went to the lobster buffet at the Palms casino. The lobsters and lobster tails are not like the ones you get in New England - Rhode Island. They did not taste that good and needed to be cooked longer. There wasn't much else on the buffet for $79.00+ per person it was totally over priced. We were very disappointed with this buffet.

Buffet to suit everyone’s palate

By pmw |

Ate at the buffet while in Vegas. Suggest getting a players card first(deducts $5.00 off if price) so paid about $22.00 which is comparable to canadian buffets that are similar. Lots of stations to choose from and is in the Palms Casino

AYCE BUFFET Las Vegas

By richardasap |

AYCE Buffet,at The Palms Casino Weekend brunch $32.99 If your looking for dollar for dollar value for your meal, Las Vegas Buffets are not for you. If your a fan of Buffets this one was good. Smoked Brisket and made to order omelet was very good. Its Vegas have a good time.

Very good lobster buffet on Wednesdays

By august01 |

Came here for the lobster buffet ($65 plus tax per person) held on Wednesdays and were impressed. As many lobster tails, full lobster and crabs legs as you like in a 1.5 hour slot, along with all the usual buffet favourites such as prime rib, smoked brisket, jumbo shrimp, chinese dishes, pizza, desserts etc. We queued from around 1.30 p.m. (it starts at 2 p.m. on Wednesdays) and at 2.05 p.m. we were told we would be called back for our table at around 3.35 (so 1.5 hours wait). We were actually called back for our table after about 50 minutes, so were happy with that, but I think it was a quiet day as we could see many empty tables and only a small queue as we were leaving. Our table service was not great and we sat with empty drinks and used plates for quite a while, but it didn't affect our enjoyment of our lunch. If you like lobster, this is the place to go, as there's no limit to how much lobster you can have in the allocated time.

Great food with many selections

By GreggMS |

This restaurant is much better than the reviews. Great selection for all types of food. My wife, aunt and uncle had crab legs, I had sausage, bacon, Eggs Benedict, fresh fruit, pizza. The also offer pancakes, make to order omelets, and many other selections. For dessert, their gelato is very good. I had the Coconut and Mint N Chip flavors and they were both delicious. The coffee was good and we never had to ask for refills. Overall, an excellent dining experience.

Lots of vegetarian options but some negatives

By Hobnob_Hobo |

I'm a local and maybe that's made me pickier about the buffets. This one I'd been wanting to try because I'd heard about the veg options. And it did have an above average number of vegetarian choices. The problem was that food wasn't always hot and a few things were dried out (like the veg sushi rolls and desert items.) The line was pretty long and frankly it moved more slowly than expected. Overall nice place, good options. My main complaint is that too many food items were a bit dried out.

Deliciousness

By Carolyn H |

What a great place there’s something here from everybody today’s Thursday and it’s crab and lobster day all you can eat just ridiculous how much food there is and if you don’t like that, they have plenty of other options and brisket is excellent. I also have prime rib greeted immediately and sat by Tina With her smiley little face and her wonderful personality Mary the general manager stopped by to see how we were doing. We gave her thumbs up and told her that this was just fantastic busy sometimes there’s a wait here we got right in. We got lucky but it’s very busy now .

Avoid AYCE buffet

By justal50 |

We were staying at the Palms and I checked out recommended buffets and thought great the AYCE is in our hotel. I made a reservation, usual cost around $40USD. By luck we got 2 free vouchers for the buffet on our rewards card which we thought was a bonus. Thank goodness we didn’t have to pay, I have never been to a buffet or any other meal so bad. The food was suppose to be from around the world, non of the food stations had anything particularly appealing but I tried the BBQ beef, it was burnt on the outside and totally raw inside and had no flavour. After trying other bits and pieces the only tasty thing on the whole buffet was the mashed potatoes. Decided to chance a dessert, asked for a cheesecake, the person serving told me it was sugar free, I said fine, he again told me it was sugar free, I said I definitely wanted it. It was the other nice thing on the buffet. OMG this buffet was terrible.

The not so accessible Lobster Buffet

By keetaj2023 |

The one thing I really wanted to do my first time in Vegas was to go to the Lobster Buffet at the Ayce Palm Casino Hotel. I got there at 4:00 and waited in line forever. When I got close to the front, they kicked out everyone that didn't have a reservation or some kind of membership with the hotel. I did not see that coming at all and was very disappointed. I would have made a reservation a long time ago, but I was told by the hotel it was first come, first serve. That does not appear to be what happened as this buffet was not accessible.

About the buffet

The food was really good and the service very nice. Salvador served me perfectly. There is vary kind of food.

Waste of time and $$$

By David L |

Went on a Monday at 4:00pm to avoid the crowds for weekend brunch and the Wed through Fri dinner specials. Had a BIGIF coupon - still was $40.00. Took 35 minutes waiting in line to get seated. New management has reduced the floor space (and food choices) but, increased the price by 35%. Our table was so close to fellow diners to actually hear them slurping soup and spit out gristly pieces of beef. When the best part of a buffet is the pizza, you know you are in trouble. Limited choices and many were tasteless. The prime rib from the carving station was cold. Salad bar was best of other choices but, at 4:40pm, a third of the food selections were empty with no staff in sight. Our drinks never got filled in the 30 minutes we stayed. Tried each food station. Again, pizza was best option, so ..... Desserts looked good but, again, had little flavor. If you are staying at the Palms and need a buffet, take a cab down to Fremont Street and go to the buffet at Main Street Station. It is $10 a meal less than AYCE and has twice the offerings. And you will not wait more than 5 minutes in line. Since we live on the west side of the valley, we will take our buffet business to Rampart Casino - again much cheaper and much more choice. The new management at Palms has reduced amenities while raising prices. Not worth the trip.

Just okay

By thesarahbella |

My brother and I ate here for lunch one day. Even though the line didn't seem very long, the wait was at least 30 minutes. Once we were inside, we went straight to grab food and weren't thrilled with the selections. They didn't have very many options and what they did have wasn't amazing. However we did enjoy grabbing a soft serve ice cream cone to go.

Disappointed

By jenaleigh3 |

We waited in a not-very-long line for almost an hour. I'm patient so not a big deal. However, the food was not worth waiting for. I had read that they had done a million-something dollar overhaul on their buffet and were supposed to have uniquely prepared foods that are visually exciting and taste wonderful. However, I couldn't put a traditional salad together from the salad bar. No lettuce/spinach, cheese, etc, just a couple of already put together salads (like potato) and small cups of salad shrimp sitting in cocktail sauce. And other than those, no seafood. The brisket was okay but everything else was a big thumbs down. Upset we wasted our $. Honestly, I've had better choices and a better meal from Golden Corral.

Lobster nights are the best. Excellent.

By STraveler2 |

Great in both quality and quantity, this buffet surpasses the others. Wednesday & Thursday Lobster night is excellent and well worth a slightly higher price. Also crab legs and lots more for the non-seafood eaters. Food was fresh and much better than most buffets.

One of the Better Buffets in Las Vegas

By Magician-on-the-go |

A friend invited to lunch at the A.Y.C.E. Buffet located in the Palms Hotel and Casino. This was our first time at this restaurant, but it won;t be the last. For us this would rank up in the top five buffets we visit. This review is based on the lunch buffet. Everything was cooked just right and presented very nicely. The food was hot and rotated on a regular basis. Some buffets leave the food until it is almost gone before replacing, where it can dry out and become unappealing. Not here. The variety of food was amazing. Salads, Soups, Veggies, Meats, Carving Station and of course desserts, drink included. There were so many choices, it was hard to decide what to eat so your didn't fill up on one type of food before being able to try other dishes. This is off the Strip and very reasonably priced. Give the A.Y.C.E Buffet a try, we don't feel you will be disappointed.

Unlimited Lobster During the Wednesday Lobster Buffet.

By TRAVELdglobenow |

We did not think we would get in as they said the waiting time was four hours. We got there at 1 PM and the line seemed long but not that long. At exactly 2 PM, the line started moving. We were seated next to the food line. We had very nice seat mates from Texas, Fiji and Colorado. We got a whole lobster and a lobster tail each time. I went back for another one and had some Japanese seaweed salad. I, also, has some dessert. A small slice of cheese cake and a small tart with blue berries. Our waitress, originally from Ethiopia, was friendly and efficient. It was the highlight of our trip to Las Vegas.

Misleading and Disappointing

By Dean C |

Our stay at the buffet, was a complete disappointment. We were staying at the Venetian, and heard the buffet was an amazing place to eat. We could have clearly eaten, based on the location we were staying, at the Wynn or Bacchanal, but our hearts were set on eating at an affordable place with amazing cuisine (given the reviews we read) despite the distance. Google images and travel influencers about the buffet stated dinner was 36.99 on Thursday, but apparently rates and dates have changed to lobster dinner for 64.99 on Thursday. Both my partner and I don't eat seafood, and requested if we could just eat the regular dinner. The hostess stated these were the rates with no exception. Seeing that we had traveled a great distance and we were incredibly hungry, we stayed for the buffet, and requested to speak to a head supervisor if an exception could have been made. We explained our situation to our server, and asked to speak to a manager. Unfortunately no supervisor had arrived, and based on time restraints we were left with no choice but to leave to avoid being late to our next heading. As a recommendation, I would suggest purging Google imagery that perpetuates misleading information. In addition, as a suggestion, offering a wrist band to delineate between patrons who want lobster dinner or not. It's a tough sell to recommend this place or the Palms to our network of friends, based on our experience.

Palms Lobster Buffet.... Never Again!

By Bryan B |

We went with the promise of unlimited Lobster for $65.00. Our anticipation was high. but at the end of the meal our satisfaction was very low. In order to gain entry into the Buffet that starts at 2:00 PM you are encouraged to get in line at 10:00 AM. They start selling meal vouchers at 12:00 Noon. Once you pay for your meal vouchers you are given the privilege to get in a second line and wait two hours for the buffet to give you permission to enter the dining area. Soooooo. Wait four hours for the right to join the Royal Order of Lobster Mongers.... Never again! The quality of lobsters was uneven. Many were overcooked and rubbery. The selection of food other than lobster was dissapointing and not much better than The Golden Corral. If you consider your time valuable, you should avoid this Lobster Trap. I would prefer to pay more money and not waste time at The Palms Buffet.

The GOOD and the NOT SO GOOD

By Monserio |

Maybe I am not like most people, but I have never been to a restaurant where everything was GREAT or one where everything was TERRIBLE. I rated the AYCE Buffet a 4 because the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. Let's start with the negatives: 1) Location. This isn't really an issue for many visitors, but the Palms isn't located right on the strip. It is really too far to walk, but if you don't have a car - a short cab, uber, etc. will get you there quickly. 2) Wait time. It just seems that no matter what time I go, there is always a wait (sometimes not too bad, but I have waited over 45 minutes). I should point out that I have a VIP player's card which usually means I am waiting in the "shorter" line. I live in Las Vegas so I have had the opportunity to go to the AYCE buffet many times. I have tried to go before what I would think would be the rush hour and even waited until mid-afternoon to go for lunch. 3) This can be a common problem for all buffets: I am not sure if there is a "timer" for when food is replaced, but there have been occasions when the timer must have been broken. Food appeared dried out. On the positive side: 1) Let me say this very clearly - I have eaten at the majority of Strip buffets and the fried chicken wings ("salt & pepper") at the AYCE buffet beats them all! Obviously, if you get them when they first come out of the fryer (yep - real deep fat fried chicken) -- nothing better! Okay, I have stopped drooling and back under control. 2) Service. Once you get to your table, the real service begins. The servers keep your table clean (remove used plates) and meet your need for drinks, etc. The staff who work behind the buffet are also extremely helpful. I wanted some hoarse radish sauce, but I did not see it anywhere. I just asked one of the line staff and within a minute she had gone to the kitchen area and returned with a small bowl of sauce for me (really too much, but it was good). 3) Food selection. The food selection is good - not spectacular like what you may see at Caesars, Wynn, or Bellagio - but check out my next comment. Keep in mind that you will always get what you pay for. If your meal costs $20, don't expect caviar, Alaskan King Crab, etc. 4) The price. If you can get a good dinner buffet for under $25 in Las Vegas, go for it. I think the AYCE costs around $11 for breakfast, $15 for lunch, and $20 for dinner (if you take the time to get the players card)! Well, hope this helps those of you coming to Vegas looking for a decent buffet. I have to end this review as I am heading out to eat...at the AYCE buffet!

Lobster overcooked at the Psalms- I do not recommend

By Noreen K |

We went to The Palm's dinner buffet on July 9 do to the Lobster on the buffet. The Lobster was terrible...very overcooked and rubbery. Huge disappointment and waste of money!

Disappointed on Crab Night

By Mr_Mrs_Scooters |

We were looking forward to the AYCE Crab on Thursday Night and were kinda disappointed. The crab we got was good, but the legs were soooo thin, that you had to go through a whole pile to get a mouthfull or two of meat. As pans of crab were replaced, the remaining legs from the old pan were dumped on top of the new. Thus, you had about 4" of "duds" before you got to the new stuff, and that still didn't have much meat. It wasa kinda like eating celery. Way too much work for little reward. Other food was OK. Deserts were good. For the price, you should be able to get more elsewhere! Hopefully, lobster night is better than Thursday Crab.

+++ Unlimited Lobster +++

It is one of the best budget hotel buffet in Vegas , great for the pocket , not a fancy spectacular , but foods not shabby and how much can you eat in a buffer ! it is favourite among the locals , they have theme night like Dinner Monday to Tuesday only $36.99 , of course the Lobster night on Wed to Thu only under $70 and Friday Prime Rib & Snow Crab for $43 and the week end brunch only $32 .99 , what a deal and I am impressed now the Lobster night , no more long crazy line up , just go on their website to make reservation , but still there is a short wait , I ate so many lobster in H.K , never never get sick of it , special seafood , it is my last night in Vegas and Ling already made reservation for us , since my last visit , not much change , all the buffet stations well stocked and clean , food quality top notch , all the dinning room staff plus the Cook so friendly and helpful , very impressed , Ling ate almost over four Lobster tail ! save room for the Gelato so if you visiting Vegas , must try these fantastic buffet , you do not have to take a second mortgage out to enjoyed these amazing Buffet !

Best Buffet Experience. Classy. Quality. Value. Fabulous Staff

By Lawrence H. M. G |

Thanks to the Palms Casino in Las Vegas the legacy of high quality reasonably priced Buffets has been preserved. While most of the Buffets still around are priced astronomically the A.Y.C.E. Buffet at the Palms is below $50. The food was 5 Star Throughout. The variety of dishes more than suffices for people that just can't make up their minds. Meats, Seafood, Salads, Custom made pasta. Cutting down on waste by having prepared smaller desserts as well as other Savory specialities allows them to keep quality high and prices reasonable. Manager Mary Giraud insures that the restaurant is well staffed and responsive to the customers. Plates never stayed on the table and were quickly removed, drinks replenished without having to ask. The Chefs and staff manning the Food stations are eager to address dietary concerns and provide guidance. Truly a 5 Star Experience without the 5 Star prices.

Overall Great food for a great price

By Blanca C |

I am vegetarian and gluten-free, I was very impressed and happy with the buffet. I went on a Saturday, the variety and quality of selections were good. The pricing was great too. The deserts were good too. I do however have to report from one of my family members that the “tres leches” cake was too dry. It did not absorb enough of the “tres leches” sauce.

Best buffet in town

This was a fantastic buffet.I recommended to everyone. We happen to be there on thursday lobster tonight and the food was awesome. We did. Not worth it

By Adventure03277968434 |

Made reservations for the lobster buffet months in advance. We arrived, the staff was great. Online when I booked it was quoted at $65.99. It was almost $80.00/per person. Honestly, I’ve had better lobster in a random surf and turf plate at a mediocre steakhouse. The crab legs were soggy and almost impossible to crack. The sides were absolutely terrible. We didn’t even try the dessert bar. The best thing we had was the 3 day old pizza at the end of the bar. For $80 per person I expected more and better. Definitely not worth the price.

great ass buffet!

By mariana c |

amazing prime rib! left full which is a great thing! service was amazing as well would keep coming back so don’t do anything different :)) my only baby complaint was that the grab legs weren’t the same as when i got here last time, it was a tad bit over cooked but i still devoured them!

Not worth $57.....

By David B |

One of the few buffet offerings still available in Vegas, it certainly didn't live up to any hype. First surprise was the fact that the Palms own website said Saturday dinner was $46.99 but was charged $52.99 then came the annoying Taiku drumming near the entry and salad bar. Very limited selection of food especially low carb options for diabetics other than the salad bar which was pretty lame...Ruby Tuesday offers a better one! Brisket was tough, no steak knives available kinda tough to cut shoe leather with a table knife. Nice selection of dessert options, again, no sugar free options so not a good option for diabetics. Wouldn't recommend NOR waste my money dining there again.

Lobster Night

By travelgirl407 |

I couldn't wait to try this buffet since I'm a huge seafood fan! They are open 2pm-9pm on Wednesday. I heard it gets busy so my friend and I arrived before noon. There was already a long line. At this point, we were told we would be pre-paying for the 2pm seating. After about 2 hours of waiting, we were now told they are done with the 2pm seating and we'd have to wait until people started to leave the buffet. We waited over 3 hours to be seated. Here are my food reviews on some of the main items. The Whole Lobster: they were dunking the lobster into a pan of butter. WHY? The butter isn't getting inside and it only made the shell messy and difficult to hold on to. Sorry to our server who had to keep supply us with napkins. A lady at the table next to us saw our struggles with the slippery shell and let us know that one of the two lobster stations didn't have the lobster butter bath. The lobsters that we had were very small, meat was tough, and not too flavorful. Lobster Tail: you could have the tail separately with the meat on top of the shell. Again, they submerged it in the butter pan. The tail was cooked a little better and had more flavor. Snow Crab: the legs were very small. It was hard to find a meaty piece from what we received. They were on the salty side as well. I only had the one serving as they weren't enjoyable enough to go back. Roasted Chicken: very dry Beef Brisket: tender, but no flavor Top Sirloin: meat was tough Desserts: not a big variety, but every one I had was good Overall, I'm glad I tried it but would not go back. The people we were standing in line with made the same comment to us when we saw them inside. There isn't a large variety of food and I'm guessing it's because it's lobster night. It was a total of $70. Plan on spending about 5 hours if you do this.

The food was excellent! We filled up on lobster tail and crab legs. Everything we tasted was yummy. Salvador was our server and he was very attentive and anticipated all of our needs. Great service! Wonderful experience. We look forward to dining here again next time we are in Vegas!

Breakfast

By Kenyon J |

Thought I’d give this buffet a shot for breakfast. They had the very basics for breakfast items bacon sausage, eggs all were cold lots of other items not normally in western world for breakfast pepperoni pizza, sausage, pizza, salad, and a very large dessert section. That would be the highlight if you want dessert for breakfast employees were too busy standing around talking with each other to even stay in their stations, so wasn’t anyone to help you for 30 bucks? Do not waste your money.

An average buffet

By wook323 |

An average buffet. We wanted to try something off the strip. It was a champagne brunch so it was a little more than a regular lunch $27 for this meal. The sushi was dry like it sitting around for a while and the roast beef was also dry. The variety was not a vast as I would have liked. This would not be my first choice for dining at this price point.

Wow. My faith in buffets restored

By pjKruse |

Well it's my last day of a vegas trip and have come here to see and eat. Its good food, good atmosphere and a great price. Every other buffet ice tried have been one stars. This one has blown me away. Well done and thanks for such hood service and food. I'm full now and feel like I need a bap.

Staff Great - Food Okay - Process an Event

By Nenah - S |

The staff were the standout of this experience! Staff = 4 stars Food = 3 stars Process = 2 stars Why I won’t go again, unless they have reservation system. We stood in line for for two hours to get in, we got in line at 11:50am and sat down at 2:30pm. As far as I know, this is the one buffet that offers all you can eat lobster & seafood during the week, when other buffets are currently focused on the high peek crowd. The food quality is “okay”, I don’t know how it compares to other buffets in Vegas. The lobster is over cooked and rubbery. Snow crab was not fresh, or overly frozen, I say that because when you crack the leg a good quality crabs meet will easily slip out, my experience did not. I could go to Costco order a box of 16 lobster tails for $160 and have a good quality meal. This was the debate I had, but hoped all the other food would elevate the experience, sadly the other food was a disappointment. The stand out dishes were the made to order pasta station (Thank you Antonia) and desert, oddly the tapioca pudding was really good. I didn’t partake from the smoke house station as I was full on seafood. The pork belly and sausage was good. Staff work very hard and our waiter was very attentive kept our table clean and drinks filled. Staff at the food stations look overwhelmed and are trying to serve the wild group of ppl. This buffet has the word out and the suggestions on how to be part of the buffet are slowly changing. We started the process by leaving hotel at 11:25am taking a Uber from the Delano, costing about $20 to the Palms. You walk right into the lobby Casino floors and go to the back, easy access, compared to finding other hotel buffets. We arrived at 11:50am and the line was so long, about 200 ppl in the line to the left (rope 1) This line are the ppl who want to get to the cashier and pre-pay for entry at 2pm. There is also a rope to the right (rope 2) of the noodle restaurant and this is where the “experienced” ppl go when they see there is probably a line of 230ppl already gathered, they know not to go to the rope 1 line at the left but go stand and the other line (rope 2) because this is where all the ppl standing in rope 1 will be redirected to stand once the first wave of 200 ppl have been able to get to the cashier and pay to stand in the paid line (rope 3) I’ll reference tips on rope system. Rope 1 (left of buffet) Rope 2 right of noodle shop Rope 3 paid line There are no signs directing you and no staff before 12pm you basically depend on those who are standing in line. The ppl in line become friends and excited to see each other once you have entered and gotten the golden ticket. Tip: ppl start standing in line (rope 1) at 10am. If you get there at 11:30, as some others have suggested, you “might” be fortunate, but a lot of ppl will stand for others with groups of 20ppl, so you don’t truly know how many ppl might be ahead of you in line. Tip: if it appears there are 200ppl you’ll want to go to the other line (rope 2), and be part of the “first” in line for the next wave of ppl waiting to pay the cashier for entry at 3:30pm, currently at the right of the noodle shop, that will eventually flow into the convention center. Tip: You have 1hr and 30 minutes and the first wave starts at 2pm. Around 2:30 the cashiers (2ppl) start taking replacement customers waiting in the line (rope 1) who didn’t get to be the first wave of ppl to enter at 2pm. By 3pm a lot of ppl are slowly being replaced with new customer standing in line. Tip: The website states you can get a text message, that was not an option when we got there at 11:50am. It might be an option for those who didn’t make it into the first wave and are standing in the other line (rope 2) hoping to be part of the 3:30 wave. Process: The cashiers start taking customer at 12pm to pre-pay and get redirected to stand in the “paid” line (rope 3) that line is right next to the customers waiting to pre-pay, so make sure you’re NOT standing in the paid line, as we saw a lot of ppl who were in paid line being redirected to go to the back of the line in the rope 3 section, you felt bad, but come on, common sense, you assume you see ppl with receipts waiting in the paid line. From 12 to 1pm you slowly move closer to the cashier desk, hoping you’ll make it to pre-pay, most of the 200ppl around 1pm have paid. If you aren’t part of that wave, the line is redirected to rope 2 and you start in the back of all those who had started waiting first in rope 2 line. About 2pm they start letting those who paid entry. 2:30 overflow group starts being able to get to cashier to pay go inside to be seated. I was part of the overflow group who were 30 ppl behind the group of 200ppl. So not sure if there is a text message system that begins for the 3:30 wave. I don’t wait in line at Disney like this and this is the longest I’ve ever waited for a buffet. The food was alright and not worth my time , unless you specifically want to dedicate 4+hrs of your time standing in line as an event.

Palms A.Y.C.E Buffet 4321 West Flamingo Road Las Vegas, Nevada

By C J |

Everything we ate was good. The selection of different foods was good but other buffets have more options. Our server was Antonia, and she was waiting on us every time we turned around. We never had to wait and try to find her for drink refills and extra table items that we needed. The downside was that once you start eating you have 90 minutes and then you have to leave. So if you are in a large group and want to talk this is not the place for that. You need to eat more and talk less. You do spend time waiting in line for crab legs. And that counts towards your 90-minutes. And 90 minutes goes by fast. It cost $52.99 per person, and I don't feel we got our money's worth.

WEDNESDAY LOBSTER NIGHT

By EvujibuR |

MAY 10, 2023 2-9PM PROS-its worth the price. The LOBSTER is plentiful and it's really good. The desert is really good too. CONS-if it's your first time like us, get there early and sign up or do the reservation online. We got there around 230pm we lined up, they took our name & phone# and waited for 3 hours to be seated.

Love the spaghetti

By Sunshine17760950221 |

A pretty big line up when me and my friend got here, recommend going early to get a table. Crab legs was out of my expectations, it was a bit salty but overall super delicious! Washroom is not in the restaurant itself so better go before you line up. Special thanks to Antoria, she was super nice and friendly, cooking skill fast and perfect, her spaghetti was the best I've had while I was in Vegas :)

WHAT A RIP OFF

By roma2srs |

Don't wast your time or money. Worst $90 I ever spent. IT WAS AWFUL. You can't get into the buffet without a reservation and you can't get one for several weeks. Then they give hundreds of people a reservation for the same time. When you get there at your reservation time you wait in line for almost an hour to get in and you are limited to two hours to eat. I had the seafood gumbo which mediocre. The only thing that is worth a positive comment is the shrimp cocktail. The crab legs and both the lobster tails and whole lobster were all dried out. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT.

Not worth the price

By Lynne O |

I went to the brunch on Saturday and we had 14 people in our party. We waited about 20 minutes before getting seated and then they split our party and we were not close to each other. I asked the manager if we could put another table near us and she flat out said NO. The food was not spectacular. I had heard good things about this place but I wasted my money. My husband who loves buffets wasn't sold about this place. My server was the only great thing about this buffet. She was on the ball and would refill our drinks right away and made sure to check on us. Don't waste your money go somewhere else.

Best buffet we’ve been too in years!!!

By punkin1919 |

There was a moderate wait in line when we arrived but it moved pretty quickly. They had a fun, friendly & prompt staff, (Edwina @the register was super friendly but professional), restaurant was clean and spacious, the buffet “spread” had a very nice assortment, every bit of food my party tasted was fresh, hot and delicious!!! Would definitely return!

Customer service and bottomless mimosas

Jennifer was awesome! She got us mimosational!! 🥂 Food was ok but the drinks were flowing! It’s worth it and the customer service was on point!

The Buffet

By Michael B |

The wife and I went to the lobster buffet which occurs only on Wednesday. Open starting at 2 p.m.. We were informed at 3:30 if we weren't already on the waiting list that we were basically out of luck. We were further told that you had to show up at 2 pm, to get on the waiting list and that there would then be a 2-3 hours wait and that we couldn't leave the Palms while we waited. It does not explain this on the website, so we wasted a trip. Oh, they did give us and a lot of other people a 10 percent coupon off other restaurants at the Palms. My question is, do I need to show up the night before to be among the initial people into the buffet? I won't go back, it's just too much hassle. The casino is re-done and is decent, but not worth an Uber ride.

Excellent Brunch !!

By ClassicCouple |

It's been a long time since we were at a Sunday Brunch in the Palms. We remember back when they had a Mexican restaurant with a wonderful Sunday Brunch. The Buffet was incredibly good when the Palms first opened many years ago . At times it seemed to change and not be one of our favorites. We arrived early just after opening. The service was perfect and the room looks beautiful. I wanted an omelet and the selections available should satisfy anyone. A memorable omelet was prepared for me by the cook . The hashbrowns were a little less desirable. The pan held to many for a slow time and they were a cold . Would loved to have had some O'Brian potatoes with that omelet. Everything else I tried was good . Plenty of cheap champagne was flowing along with MANGO JUICE . We will try this brunch again in the future .

Mediocre sums up the experience

By Adam G |

We went to this buffet on 6/19, and had a 6:30 reservation. It was like something out of a Seinfeld episode. Even though we had the reservation, we still had to wait a half hour on line to pay and then wait another 15 minutes to go in. We went for the all you can eat lobster buffet which is on Weds. and Thursday night. Other than the lobster which was good but tepid in terms of temp, mediocre sums up the buffet. Given that you are paying 75 dollars after taxes a person, it should be better than mediocre. I tried the pork, prime rib, pizza, Mac and cheese, shrimp, salad, and nothing stood out. We would have been better served by going to a fine dining restaurant. Forgot to mention the ice cream and gelato selection is good. Big disappointment after reading the reviews about this.

Easy and great price

By AlanSemsar |

For the food lovers this is a never ending buffet there was so much food I barely touched 10% of the buffet it was delish

Decent, not great and not worth the price tag.

By Blackhawks1st |

Some of the food was good to very good, some was mediocre. Basically we paid the $79/person fee for the lobster and crab leg buffet for my wife’s birthday. The crab legs were not very fresh, with a texture that was a little mushy and difficult to extract from the shell in large pieces of meat. However, the taste was decent, The lobster tails were good, but the whole lobster and lobster claws were better. Sirloin and brisket were of average quality, The dessert bar was very good with small portions so we could sample several items. Overall my wife and I agreed. The buffet was decent, but not worth the price. We won’t be going back.

An incredible baffet experience..Definately return customers…

By Expedition626727 |

Excellent presentation..fresh seafood..amazing selection of all food items.. A suggestion to clear up the Wed & Thurs standby, non reservation mass confusion in front of the restaurant; There were 30-50 folks including us waiting to get in without reservation. Most were told 3-5 hr wait even though I saw 50 empty chairs; many left. The reality was that we waited less than an hour to get in after all the 2:00 reservations checked in. All 30 who patiently waited got in for buffet within one hour.. My suggestion to make things much easier and more profitable & to eliminate all the no-shows who book online without deposits then don’t show up, is to take prepayments only, for the Wed & Thur seafood buffet. This way only serious folks book & all will show up. This way all patrons like us would not wait long to get in for buffet. Try it, I’m sure the boss will see the difference in more business & no big groups congregating in front of the restaurant for standby hopes. (The lady manager actually called security to clear up the groups on Thurs, May 23rd) She doesn’t listen to suggestions well & doesn’t know how to run a business… All in all we definately will be back. Hopefully see my idea in place then..

Best pasta ever

By FarAway15654884426 |

Came to dinner buffet two days in a row specifically for antonias pasta. Super good you can pick whatever you want and sauce for your pasta to fit your taste. Fresh garlic is a nice touch

Worth it for the dessert! But come early

By GlamperGirl |

We arrived at 10:30 and brunch was done at 11:30am. The food was good but I would suggest arriving earlier than we did for fresher food…we definitely had some dried out dishes that would have been better earlier. The dessert was amazing!!! Fantastic high quality gelato and tiramisu!!! Staff was very good too.

Reasonable but not over the top all-you-can-eat

By Becky |

We went on a regular night, not one of the special nights, and it was $37/pp plus tip. A server is assigned to a group of tables and they clear plates, serve drinks (alcohol is extra price), and generally keep their assigned area tidy. Plus there are busboys clearing tables constantly. It did feel very clean. For an AYCE buffet, I've seen bigger selections at all-inclusive resorts but I think they had enough variety. But, the options were somewhat odd at times as there always seemed to be something missing for a full meal in one style. For example, the Mediterranean section had hummus, baba ghanoush, pita, and tabbouleh, but there were no kebab or dry-rubbed spiced meats (at least not when I was there). Mexican style food was sprinkled all over the place - chips at the salad bar, pico-de gallo at the taco/smoke bar, southwest style bean salad by the Mediterranean food. The salad bar had a lot of mixed/prepared salad options but the build your own salad was a little boring (just cafeteria style with greens and your standard vegetables). We really liked the beet salad and the greek salad. The breads were bland. The cheese section was pizza, calzone, pasta/macaroni and cheese, etc. The carving station had some good meats, but I'd recommend using the sauces provided by the smoke station since the meat didn't have much flavor added. I wanted to try the sausage but it was never available - the person ahead of me always got the last piece, I tried four times. There was a lot of inconsistency in spice level for some things - the mango-habenero chicken wings were either sweet or spicy and it was not even. Same with one of the salads. My friend really liked the mussels in Thai curry and ate a lot of them. We tried the sorbets and anise/pistachio cookies. The cookies were really good. I liked the mango sorbet but the strawberry sorbet was too syrupy flavored. I think the price is reasonable for AYCE for dinner. It is about what we would spend per person at a restaurant but with more options. We were there for about two hours. My friend can eat and eat and I cannot so I guess it balances out. I'll add that I cannot eat fish/shellfish or dairy but still had a lot of options to select from and I really wanted to try a lot more than I did. Salt and pepper are on the table and several of the dishes needed a bit of seasoning added, except the ham and collard greens which were as salty as they are supposed to be. We waited in line about 10-15 minutes at 7 pm.

AYCE Lobster dinner review only

By conjuror88 |

The AYCE lobster dinner is only on Wednesday and Thursdays @ $79.99 from 3-10pm. We tried to book a day earlier personally but the cashier said we had to book online even though we made an effort to go there. Luckily, our friend made a reservation, Ron the host ushered us in, very nice man and gave us a nice table for 6 near the buffet !!! Thanks Ron . The lobsters , opened and whole and the legs were in two sections, Henry was great at lobsters saying "Welcome to the pub " repeatedly, always smiling and happy, like really welcoming you for dinner; wanted to post Henry with the pics, but have to check privacy issues with resto. the other side was so-so; you are given 1 lobster at a time, so you have to go back over and over ( poor dishwasher); the lobster butter was warm, one regular, other spicy; hardly touched the salads, wanted to try the wedge salad, but it was not fresh and watery on the bottom of the bowl; Pop, juice, coffee and tea included. AYCE has several stations namely, The Greenery, Hearth Roastery Pan, and others, all well manned. The meat was dry at the station and did not eat it, as was the rice, Vegas but warm, and the We were six on the table, the water/drinks always refilled; tables, all the mess cleaned quickly, quite impressive. Would come here only for the lobster, and seafood items and some dessert.

Great food

Wide choice of fresh food for great price, very tasty espacially desserts and also very friendly staff.

Perfect buffet place for the family

By Emjay J |

Amazing food and ambience. Mr. Salvador the server gave probably one of the best service experiences ever.

Wasn't impressed

By sharon n |

The staff were absolutely lovely but the food was pretty poor and tasteless Tried the ribs ( hard and brittle ) Southern fried chicken wasn't cooked properly totally pink in the middle so didn't eat that , I can't remember what else I tried but I must admit I left there feeling pretty disappointed The ice cream was nice but the rest of the desserts were again bland and tasteless It is cheaper than the buffets on the strip but I have found them so much better choice and quality.

Good buffet overall.

By Freedom25204111162 |

Nice staff. Salvador our waiter was very personable and made an effort to get to know us. The hostess attempted to sit my large family (13) together and was able to. Overall excellent experience. Just try to arrive early, just like any buffet lines can be long.

It was Okay

By jennlynn15 |

I am glad we only paid $25 for the buffet and we didn't wait too long because it wasn't nothing to special. Most of the food was dry and not very good. The French Onion soup was pretty good and the fried chicken was seasoned well just really dry. If you are visiting or staying at The Palms I would try other restaurants before choosing the buffet.

Wendy THE Waitress

By Sophia A |

All I have to say is, Wendy was the best server out there! The coolest, nicest, most respectful service ever! My friends and I came into the Buffet not knowing what to expect and let me just say Wendy most definitely exceeded those expeditions with her amazing service! We love her! <3

Overpriced and poor-quality food, nice employees

By Sightseer59895814536 |

My husband and I went to the buffet for Christmas. This was our second time visiting the buffet. The first visit was for the lobster buffet, it was 3.5/5. We had high hopes since it was Christmas and thought we would get better quality food. We were very wrong. First of all, it was $80 per person which is very expensive, so based on the price we expect quality food. We were very disappointed. They were serving lobster and crab legs, however, they were overcooked and rubbery. The crab legs would not come out of the shell. The prime rib was good but nothing special. Chef Robert at the carving station was the highlight. He had a great personality and was very friendly. Most all the food was overcooked and dry and there wasn't a great selection. The highlights were the layout and ambiance. We had reservations which is a great addition to any buffet and were taken right in even though we were a few minutes late. They need to step up their game as far as food quality. I'm unsure how they were voted best buffet in Vegas because Golden Corral serves better food than we had.

Lobster Night

By tom k |

Arrived around 12:15 to get in line to pre-pay for first sitting. Took till 1:00 to get paid. Told to be in line at 2 for seating. Arrived shortly after 2 and line was long. But only took 15 minutes to get seated. Line for all food was long. The 2 places to get lobster had 10–15-minute line. Hard to get to other foods with these lines in front of buffet choices. Finally sat down to eat at 2:30. After initial lines it only took 5 minutes to get more lobster. Tails were better than whole which seemed more salty. Good cold shrimp. Brisket was good and sirloin was tough as expected with that cut of meat. Next best was Mac and Cheese. Only clam chowder for soup that didn't look good. Limited choices for other food IMHO. When done the dessert line was 15 minutes. Deserts were good and plenty of options. No lines for Lobster at that time at as most people were getting done around same time. Good service and polite staff everywhere. Glad I did it once but probably won't be back. I hate lines. Easier to get crab legs at Albertsons and have at home. The lobsters were not as warm as desired. But if you want lots of Lobster go for it. $70 each. I had LVI coupon so it was buy one get one.

Look elsewhere, not great!

By Harry Baxter |

Was expecting a lot better for the money and things I’ve read elsewhere. Standard of the food is poor in my opinion, service was good however! You’d think with how good the hotel is that the ayce buffet would match but, complete mismatch. Look elsewhere

Great Value and Variety. Long Wait but overall Good Experience

By Don F |

Very Good Food, Clean, Fresh and Flavorful. LONG line and LONG wait for over an hour. However, the price and value are worth it and we enjoyed the experience. Would highly recommend AYCE!

Excellent!!

By Angela P |

This place is great. The food is amazing and there is a big variety. The service is impeccable. Rebeka was our waitress and she was phenomenal. She was very attentive and always came around to fill our drinks. Wonderful place all around. Sit with Rebeka if you can!

Great crab, skip the brisket.

By Rats1955 |

We went on Thursday night. It was crab night. We had a group of 5 and had to wait quite a while for a table. The crab was very good along with the roast beef. Skip the brisket, it was not even eatable. Everything else was quite good. Definitely got my money's worth.

The best pizzas are the buffet

By Edel P |

I was at the buffet on Wednesday 26th June and the truth all very well but what I liked the most were the exquisite pizzas and the excellent treatment of the girl who makes them Angela I congratulate her and my son was delighted with her the truth I give her a 10 out of 10, so for my part I will return.

Wow

By Empathy |

Go there Wednesday early ! You will wait hours but it is worth it as you can eat unlimited whole lobsters and lobster tails !!!!! That alone make this the highlight of Las Vegas !!!

Amazing Buffet

By derrickwg36 |

This is the best seafood buffet I have tried in Las Vegas thus far. I visited on a Wednesday evening, which is the lobster night. They serve all you can eat lobster, as well as crab legs (cold/hot). The lobster is served whole, lobster tail and claws, so you can try a whole lobster or just the parts you enjoy, or all the above. On this buffet, the seafood is the main attraction, if you do not like shellfish this probably isn’t the buffet for you; if you enjoy shellfish there isn’t a better seafood buffet in the Las Vegas area. They provide some good accompaniments like spicy drawn butter, as well as regular drawn butter. They have a very good dessert bar, and the brisket is also very good. The staff were very friendly, and did a good job providing drinks and service. I highly recommend this buffet if you enjoy seafood.

Worth the Wait!

By agoneil |

With so few buffets left in Vegas, we asked our cab driver for a recommendation. He was right on with this one. We went for Sunday brunch, and actually waited in line for an hour and a half--but all four in our group agreed that it was worth the wait. HUGE number of choices. Everything fresh and hot. Refillable mimosas at no extra cost. Our beverage server was Will, and he was attentive, quick, and friendly. (We've been to other buffets where the beverage server just disappears after the first order...) The meal was pricey (not like the old days) but we felt that we more than got our money's worth.

Worst buffet experience in my life

By IRONCHEFJOE |

This was one of the worst experiences in dining that I've ever had. I'm disabled with cancer and weigh about 105 lbs and need to eat constantly just to maintain weight. I walk with a cane or walker. I came in and asked to sit close to the food, only to be sat far away. I waited 10 min for someone to take a drink order and when no one came I got food I had finished one small plate hoping that I'd get something to drink soon if only even water. I tried to flag down the serving person and she ignored me and when I did get her attention she told me I'd have to wait. So I waited and she served 3 other tables that came in after me while still ignoring me. I had to have my caretaker complain and ask for help and then an additional 5 min after that, over 30 min in at this point, had finally gotten someone to take a drink order, only to take 10 more minutes after that and proceed to tell me that they had other guests. I just wanted a drink to wash down my food for an order, and although comped though my play, this was way more trouble than it was worth, only to get in line with my cane and have rude people push me out of the way at every station. I gave up after my second plate cause I could t get the food I wanted or a drink and I was embarrassed for being a tiny little disabled man who everybody ignored and overlooked. I'm sicked in all my years living in this town helping others and cateing to the elderly and disabled, now that I am one; only to be cast off as forgotten society in a place I thought would be far kinder and more catering to disabled, elderly locals. I may go back to the palms, but for what they charge for buffets, it's not worth the utter disrespect, lack of professionalism and service. I absolutely expect an apology.

Just okay

By Connie W |

Good value for Vegas if you're into 'volume eating', otherwise I don't highly recommend. I found just a few quality items out of the many offerings. I went at peak dinner time on a weekday and found that most items had been sitting for awhile & had lost their appeal completely.

diverse food selection with few standouts + reasonable prices for LV

By denise |

Although it's not centrally located on the Strip, the AYCE buffet at Palms is worth it at its price point, especially since it's ~$16/person for lunch. The wait wasn't too bad for Saturday lunch, about 15 minutes. They have different stations to specify the type of prep/cooking like the Greenery, Revival, World Pan, the Roastery, the Hearth, Smoke & Fire, and Sweet & Light. The Greenery is more than the basic salad bar. It has a variety of vegetables and greens but also fresh pre-made salads and elegant, gourmet options like an arugula fig salad or pesto mozzarella, one of my favorites. There's assorted breads, fruits, salad dressings & toppings, and cold pastas. Revival is a vegan/vegetarian station that revamps the traditional vegetarian dishes and included mushroom quesadillas, pita bread and hummus, rainbow chard hash, and zucchini noodles in marinara. Nothing is really special and most of the stuff is pretty bland. At least there's healthy, light options. But let's be real, you're not going to an all-you-can-eat buffet looking for healthy stuff, you're here to indulge. World Pan is pretty extensive and contains mostly Asian cuisine because it doesn't really fit anywhere else and includes beef & broccoli, dumplings, gyoza, pork buns, fried rice, adobo, poke bowls, and honey walnut shrimp. There's also elotes, paella, and a DIY taco section (al pastor, fajitas, pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream etc). There's also the Hearth which is focused on oven baked and/or Italian items like assorted pizza, strombolis, and pasta dishes (penne, mac and cheese). They had a variety of baked macaroni dishes like the traditional one topped with breadcrumbs but also one with Flamin' Hot Cheetos garnished on top. Most of these options are skippable in my opinion. You can definitely get better pizza and strombolis (so flavorless) elsewhere. There's chicken pot pie in individual ramekins (amazing), Thai Red Curry Mussels (not great), and a DIY pasta bar. The Roastery is more meat-based items like roast beef and fried pollock, calamari steaks, but also sliders, mashed potatoes and many different gravies and sauces. Smoke & Fire has savory comfort food like BBQ ribs, BBQ pulled pork, borracho beans, collard greens, fried chicken, hush puppies, and biscuits. Just the essential BBQ eats. Sweet & Light is the dessert station. But like the name suggests, the desserts (cookies, cakes, ice cream, bread putting) aren't too rich and indulgent. They have special desserts like eclairs, cream puffs, cobblers and fruit tarts too. Ice cream was okay and the flavors weren't super extraordinary. Just basic flavors like vanilla, chocolate, coffee, pistachio, caramel, but also spumoni and stracciatella. They offer sugar-free flavors too and you can make an ice cream sandwich. I got a cup of the pistachio and the flavor tasted so artificial and sugary. There was a variety of sushi (the basic California rolls, etc.) at Revival (vegetarian) and also at World Pan but they were terrible. The rice was not soft enough, like it was either not fresh or just cooked wrong. And so it doesn't possess that melt-in-your-mouth quality. I would skip it. Most of the stuff from Smoke & Fire are pretty good, especially the pulled pork. Hands down, the best dish they have is the Chicken Pot Pie. The pie crust is perfect -- the right balance between flaky and buttery. And the filling was deliciously creamy and flavorful. TL;DR: newly revamped and renovated space, diverse food selection with some standouts (Chicken Pot Pie), lower than average Vegas prices with minimal wait. ***also posted on Yelp!

Buffet It Up

By Dede F |

The variety of food to choose from was incredible!! We were randomly picked to receive a 5 pound Lobster that was served at our table by staff and Chef Jessica. Service from staff and Environment was wonderful!! We were greeted by Margarita the Lobster as well. The price for what you pay for the Wednesday Lobster Buffet is soooo worth it.

Choose another Restaurant

By steven h |

First of all there are limitations that are so confusing on the menu. The food was terrible tempra was overcooked, they charge you an automatic 18% tip so there is no incentive to provide good service. No order on how the food comes out for example the soup was served last, the wait for the food was extreme. Had to actually leave the table to find the waitress, who never checked back with us to see how things were going. Never going back.

Just wow!

By sazmcazz |

Wow! We went to the Sunday brunch buffet - amazing quality, fabulous amount of choice, catering for meat eaters, veggies and those that are a bit picky in our group. The food was delicious and extraordinarily good value. We loved it!

Dining at the Palms Restaurant

By Anthony G |

To say this buffet was a disappointment would be an understatement. The wait to be seated and the minimal courteous and lack of consideration was noticed immediately. The waitress never came back once to ask if anyone wanted water or re-fill of drinks, etc. The food selections were minimal and mediocre for the most point. After several decades of patronizing Las Vegas Buffets, this was and remains the very least enjoyable and a one time only visit. The price was $ 19.95 for the dinner buffet which in and of itself was a fair price if the food, selection, quality, and service were nominally at least medium or better levels.

AYCE Buffet

Fabulous buffet with the best jumbo fresh shrimp, crab legs, prime rib and beef brisket. Desserts were excellent too. Friday evening and hardly any wait times. Surroundings were clean and plates cleaned up. The service was the best we’ve had. Our waitress, Embey from Ethiopia was so attentive and friendly! I highly suggest this buffet and we certainly will be back!!!

Amazing brunch buffet with lots of choices! The meat was amazing and my husband really enjoyed the crab legs. The desert options were also really tasty. All in all 5/5 points. Our waitress Janice was very attentive and sweet. Go earlier so you don’t need to wait too long.

IIf you care about customer service, skip this place

By Christy M |

This would be a 5 star review, but there was a complete lack of customer service related to signing up for the buffet. They could not be bothered to make sure the process was clear and it cost us an almost 3 hour wait. I spoke to the lady standing at the front of the restaurant with the tablet twice and asked her how the process worked and she told me my whole party had to be there to get in line. Once we were all together and went back to her, she told me there was a whole different line where we had to register and this is just where you checked in once they called your name. I cannot comprehend why she wouldn’t have told me that when I asked her the first time how the processed worked for the buffet. The other line to sign up was now a 3 hour wait, whereas if I’d been told I needed that line to start with the wait would have been minimal. Instead we had to try to kill almost 3 hours in a casino with kids—and while we know Vegas is not geared toward kids and this was just a one night stopover, there was absolutely nothing for them to do. No pool, no arcade, just sitting. The lobster /crab buffet food was great, and our server was fantastic, but they could not care less about your experience because there’s just someone else to take your place. Despite the food being good, doubt I’d ever go back based on the lack of customer service. But they’re good with that. Hope this review helps explain the process to someone else, because they sure won’t.

Great food, mostly great staff with a few exceptions..

The serving staff were amazing, super generous with the lobster and very friendly. The lobster was lovely. The lady at the till taking payment was rude. Charged us for three adults when we were clearly two adults and a nine year old child. She got all boulshy and making out it was our fault for not saying two adults and a child. Perhaps if she looked up, made eye contact and cracked a smile she would have seen for herself. Payment had to be retaken and then we had to wait days for the original payment to be refunded to card. Waitress was nice until we gave her a $10 tip as her attitude changed. Don't know how much they expect as it's a buffet at the end of the day but that's Vegas I guess! Happy with food and people serving up the food though. Be sure to make reservations for the lobster buffet in advance as often you won't get in without one or have a very long wait!

Wednesday's Lobster Buffet

By Vegas On A Dime |

We came the Wednesday lobster buffet in June 2023. As you are likely well aware, this is an ordeal to secure your spot at the lobster buffet. We committed to the process and enjoyed our meal. We had a BOGO coupon from the 'Las Vegas Advisor' which really made the ordeal worth it and the meal quite affordable. Where else can you have all you can eat lobster for $35 pp? Other than lobster, we also tried to sample the buffet in general to get an overall sense of quality. We found not only the lobster, but everything we sampled quite well done. I would have to assume this is a great buffet any day of the week! We would definitely come back here for their regular buffet. If you are willing to commit the time to eating at the lobster buffet, we felt it was worth it. There was a lot of staff one and it appears they have learned how to handle the crowds well.

Great Buffet + Service

Excellent server, Dwight, at our breakfast buffet on 10-19-22. Palm Resort is a wonderful renovated off-the-strip casino resort. For that reason, it is less crowded. The buffet is delicious, without the long waits associated with the few remaining strip buffets (except on the specialty nights, when waits ARE long). For breakfast, there is probably everything you want, from ordered omelets to carved meats to lox and bagel. Dwight brought us OJ twice and coffee twice, without asking. Dinner buffets are also top hotch. Overall, I have had the Palms buffets 3 or 4 times since it reopened earlier this year.

Buffet at A.Y.C.E.

We went to this buffet 3 Tim’s during our visit to Las Vegas after watching YouTube reviews. First Lobster night was very good and we left very satisfied with our meal. Next was Prime Rib night the food was good and there was a good variety but nothing outstanding. This was followed by Brunch on Saturday which made me feel shortchanged on prime rib night as they had prime rib on the brunch line and I could have saved $49. All in all there was a good variety of food to be had on each occasion but wasn’t over and above anywhere else. Nothing that would make you stop and say wow.

Crab legs! Yum

The food was good! We went on a crab leg night and lobster night! Yummmy!!! The chef jessica was so friendly and helpful! We felt like it was a good bang for our buck. Morgan helped get us a table together we had a large group and it was so nice of her to accommodate.

Rubber fish

Visited a year ago, thought it was quite good, so tried again this time. Specifically attended the lobster crab night as that is our preference. Lobster was VERY dry, tough and a bit fishy. Tried 3 and all were the same. The rest of the food was fine, if not great. The service was fairy poor, starting with the woman at the desk where we paid, wearing a plastic mask, I think mainly to stop her biting customers as she was so snarly. Host was quite unfriendly and dour. All in all not a great experience, not worth the money and last visit.
