Love the cleanness, simplicity, good ethnic food and amicable service. Business dinner, had a spicy chicken appetizer, and for main course we had fried bass and a delicious chicken stew type dish.

Popped in whilst in Orlando, ordered to paneer curries medium with plain naan. The naan was excellent. The curry looked great but we found the medium spice too spicy compared to the UK and it overwhelmed the dish. I think if the spice level is right this could be a top visit for a curry. Some of the starters of lamb chops and samosas looked very good. The popadoms were good, different spice level this would probably be a four or five star.

We've tried many Indian restaurants throughout Orlando, but until tonight we've failed to find one that compares to the standard we enjoy back in the UK. Having checked out the reviews we decided to give Aashirwad a go. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and our server Sergio was top notch. Nothing was too much trouble. The menu is varied and both the chicken and lamb dishes had quality chunks of meat unlike other restaurants we've tried. A lot of them use cheap cuts. When ordering we were asked how spicy we would like each dish, my husband ordered a spicy korma... Beware, it was a lot hotter than it would be in the UK. They also had more variety in the breads than any other restaurant we've been to. Couldn't fault this tonight, we will most definitely be returning.

Visited Aug 21st 2022, 3 adults. We each had a starter which are described as "small plates". They were huge, so really I'd say we should have not bothered with the "small plates" & just had the mains. The food was nice, and I personally ordered the chicken hyderabadi. The waiter warned me that it was very hot, about an 8 or 9 out of 10, and that if I ordered it it could not be returned or cooled down in any way. It was nicely flavoured (I personally got lots of fenugreek taste) & although it was spicy, I wouldn't say it were as hot as some vindaloos I've had. The food was fine, although a little pricey compared to UK restaurants in my home town, but I understand-after all you're right in the middle of the tourist zone. On the whole I'd say it was good rather than great, however the one real negative was the drinking water. The waiter was really attentive and replenished our glasses regularly (we were sick of drinking soda, so all were on the water), but it was not good and as my wife commented "tasted like a swimming pool". On the whole, I'd probably not visit again basing it on this visit.

Been coming here close to 20 years. The moved location once. Lunch was spot on! Great taste and value for $15. A must try! See attached photo

We first came here about three years ago. When we returned to Orlando we made it a must revisit. The portion sizes are perfect, we go the lamb Rogan Josh, chicken tikka masala and a lamb biryani, with garlic naan and a selection of sides. Absolutely delicious and the service is great as well. If you like Indian food I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

This is an amazing Indian Food restaurant. The food is outstanding, food portions are large, and service is outstanding. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Hyderabadi and Garlic Naan bread. All meals were outstanding, the lamb was fork tender. If you enjoy or would like to try Indian Food, Aashirwad is your choice.

Absolutely gorgeous food all we got was 100%. And the garlic naan probably the best we've ever had. Prices in food and wine very reasonable for the quality

Very warm welcome, pleasant and very responsive servers. We tasted a little bit of everything while taking several starters to share. The dishes are spicy as we like them for an Indian restaurant, and above all very substantial. The value for money is very good. I recommend.

A great visit for people who like Indian and a spicy food! Staff are very friendly and great for advice for your taste requirements!!

Casual place with excellent Indian food. Be aware that when you ask for spicy that is exactly what you get! Thankfully they had some excellent Indian beers to cool off with, looking forward to returning next time I am in Orlando.

The food was really nice but the service was lacking. Not even a thank you for the payment and tip. Will not return due to this.

I came with friends and my husband after a long day at Universal. The ambience of this restaurant very chill and nice. Beautiful. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and informative. The food. WOW did we love the spices. My husband and I are vegetarian and we found the vegetarian options plentiful. The food we ordered was pretty spicy for my taste but they provide unsweetened yogurt to offset the spice. I also ordered some bread on the side which helped - and it was delicious. Dinesh was our server and he was awesome!! We will be back 100%. Thank you all for bringing us this valuable experience :) I would recommend to anyone who’s trying something new, looking for authentic Indian cuisine, or to any vegetarian/vegans.

We were recommend this restaurant by an Uber driver when asking for decent places to eat. He said it was the best Indian restaurant in the town and he was not wrong!! My partner and I love Indian food and often go to high end Indian/Nepalese restaurants back home. This was up there with some of the best Indian food we have had. Would 100% recommend visiting here. We noted that most of the customers in the restaurant were of Indian/Asian ethnicity themselves, so that has to say something too. Our service was also top class. Honestly, give it a try.

I cannot provide enough stars for the wonderful experience that I have at this location. The food and service is absolutely superb. Shashank the Manager goes above and beyond each time that our leadership team comes to eat. Lately they have done so much to ensure that all guests expectations are met with the COVID-19 crisis. This is our "go-to" Indian place. Highly (highly) recommend Samaso's, Chicken Tikka Masala, any dessert, and Mango Lassi. Again, Shashank thank you for going the extra mile.

We arrived around 7.30pm were seated straight away and seen to immediately! Mahali looked after us all evening and she couldn’t have done more for us! The food was amazing and the service was second to none! Highly recommend the onion bahjis, tikka masala and garlic naan! Would return again tomorrow and hope to be served by Mahali again

It was such a positive experience. Home prepared and cooked foods with such amazing tastes. The staff were lovely and very attentive. Try the chocolate samosa for dessert. Wow for chocolate and pastry lovers. Only one minor issue for me was no coffee available to finish a fantastic meal.

We did couple of take out the food was good but the place is kind of small that you always find that you need to wait in the parking lot. Would not advise anybody to come to this place too hungry as most probably you need to wait...

The restaurant is small and fills up very quickly The food is very delicious, but it is considered spicy (they say medium, but it looks more delicious). We ordered chicken biryani, tikka masla, and butter naan, and they were all very delicious. The service is fast and worth the visit

Thank you Aashirwad for not dumbing down the intricate spicy flavors of authentic Indian cuisine to cater to the mainstream American palate! Our visit to Aashirwad was nothing short of a time capsule back to India. We had the Chicken Tikka masala, Madras Lamb curry, Ragada patties, Manchow soup and Chettinaad chicken on dosa. Every dish was distinct and flavorful. The rotis and rice were fresh and paired beautifully with the scrumptious meal. Congratulations Aashirwad for being honest to the Indian cuisine.

Excellent food and better service. Stay away from the theme park restaurants and get unique flavors from Aashirwad. I will definitely visit again!!!

Really enjoyed this restaurant as I am a curry fan an this was in my top curries. Will be going again !!!

We came here for lunch on one of the days they have the buffet. If you are vegetarian they have several choices on the buffet (3 of the six entrees offered). At most Indian restaurants I order medium level spice. Of course on a buffet you don't have the option of ordering a spice level. There was one goat entree and two chicken. I tried both of the chicken entrees, one had way too much pepper for my liking and the other was too hot. I have been to other Indian buffets and had more selection and enjoyed them. We might have had a better experience if we had come when we could order off the menu.

we went for the first time and really like it. The food was very tasty and service was good. definitely would recommend people to visit

The service was great even with a full restaurant. Our server made several recommendations and they did not disappoint. The serving sizes were plentifully with enough for both of us to take home leftovers for lunch. The flavors were robust and the aroma was fantastic. If you’re looking for some great Indian food in Orlando, this is worth a visit.

A five star Indian food dining experience — not to be missed if you’re in the Orlando area. Everything was fresh and delicious, with options that are not typically found on many Indian food restaurants. Staff was professional and attentive, the decor sophisticated and modern. All the desserts are homemade, too.

Food is excellent I’m from Yorkshire and this was better Indian food than at home Highly recommend cottage cheese with naan

One of the best Indian food I have ever tasted :D Great service Great food Cool atmosphere Recommended

A really nice place with great food and great service. They were able to easily accommodate a vegan diet with helpful tips and a separate vegan menu. The jackfruit Masala that I had was amazing! If I lived here I would be a regular. Thank you !

We went there 3 of us, we were served water and thin naan bread with two type of dipping sause while we waited for food free of charge that was good and no chlorin taste of the water, that’s a big plus for us. We all got different food, that came with rice, all were very good. And we tried three types of naan bread garlic, cheese and sweet. Our server Sergio came often to check up on us, he was very nice and helped us choose our food and explained everything for us. Clean restaurant. I would go there again. I took some photos

My friend and I were looking for something different other than American food and found this place and it hit the spot! Everything was fresh and delicious! The wait staff was attentive to our table as well. 5 stars!!!!

Amazing food very friendly staff and management. Authentic Indian best I have had in 15 years in the US. Must try!!

We were visiting from the UK. Orlando has lacked quality Indian restaurants. We were delighted with the quality of food. The staff were attentive, friendly and excellent service. We will definitely be going back when we next visit. We have tried their other restaurant,m Bombay Street Kitchen and had the same experience too. Thank you Sanjeev and Safeena, Sheffield , UK

Some of the best Indian food I have ever had!!! Walking distance from hotels. Great service!!! Drinks were delicious. 5 stars!!!

We returned with family in August having been here earlier this year. The Indian food is amazing! Service very quick and polite… very welcoming - thank you!

Great food, even better service! Food was flavorful as expected, w/ right amount of flavor and spice! Nice outdoor seating. A+++ service! Thank you!!

A few years ago me and my husband visited this restaurant and love it then so on this trip to Orlando we decided to give it a try again but what a big mistake it was. When we arrive at the restaurant Saturday night around 8 o’clock we told the wait was 15 minutes so we waited 15 minutes then another 30 minutes which was fine we did not have a problem with that but once we were seated we were placed next to a party of about 30 people we were horrified. I’m not sure if these people the owner or management is aware that our country and the world is going through a pandemic. I don’t think any thought went into the safety of anyone in that restaurant I’m sure the only thing on managements mind were to make the most money and serve as many people as they can that night. The group was so loud that we asked to be moved we were eventually move to the patio which was fine with us because after what we saw going on on the inside we did not want to be anywhere near that. If Covid doesn’t bother you and you don’t mind , if you are fine putting your family and yourself in harms way then I guess this restaurant would be fine because the food is just OK.

We eat plant-based so when visiting Orlando we try to find healthy-ish options where we don't have to pick from the 2-3 meat-free items on a menu. This lunch buffet is THE BEST! It's always PACKED though so beware of that. The service is good and it's really a great value for the area. The restaurant is pretty cute too.

We visited this restaurant because of its high rating. The popadoms and chutneys were fine, as was the naan bread. I was so disappointed with my main paneer mahkanwala. I expected a home made dish but the sauce was straight from a jar. I can make better at home so won’t be back

My pic is of my receipt because I don't think a take out pic does the food justice. I was surprisingly turned on to this place by my boy in Dallas when I complained to him that Orlando food reviews were like Micheal from the office when he went to NYC. I grew up going to a place in central PA where the owners and employees went back home regularly, and the food was amazing. This place had food that made me pause when I ate it in my hotel room more than an hour after I picked it up. Amazing flavor, and service. Don't go corporate. Eat at a place like this.

We had tried Indian food in Orlando and previously weren’t impressed, wow how its progressed, the food at Aashirwad is as good as anything currently in the UK, service is excellent and staff really friendly, a definitely not to be missed curry for when you are getting jaded with American food. Sid Cromwell ate his too 👍

I went there on my own. I had lamb korma with basmati rice and some plain nan. Big servings and very tasty food. This place is very popular with Indian people, so I think that is a good sign of the quality of the food served. I can highly recommend this restaurant if you want to eat good Indian food. Very good and attentive service.

Naans were either burnt or undercooked after going back and forth. There was hair in curry. Server had runny nose and was using his hands to rub it while bringing food on table. We got charged for plates we had not ordered. Luckily I had taken pictures which I showed them and after lot of arguments the charges were taken off. Staff is unprofessional and bunch of liers along with manager. Avoid this place

My wife and I tried Aashirwad this past weekend for dinner. The restaurant ambiance is nice, the service friendly, and the food good. We both got the Korma (chicken for me and veggie for my wife) and it was excellent. Our drinks and garlic naan were also very good. We will definitely return.

I tried their lunch buffet and it was awful. The flavors were not good, and the chicken also tasted old.

Food was good, the service was good, the salad bar was good, the naan bread was good, and the mango ice cream was good

We really enjoyed this wonderful gem of a restaurant. The staff was helpful and friendly. I was not disappointed with our food and the next time we are in Orlando we will definitely visit again.

I ordered paneer tikka masala but few chicken pieces in there. eggplant curry is almost rotten.waste of money

We stopped here for lunch today. They had a very good lunch menu rather than the usual buffet. The special came with salad, lentils, nan, a couple of pieces of chicken, and the entree. Flavor was excellent, and lots of it. We had the leftovers for dinner. The service was very good, and the price very reasonable. Great place!

We were recommended this restaurant by a you tuber, we were not disappointed. We had the butter chicken, rice and nan and it was lovely, the butter chicken slightly less sweet than at home (but still good) tender chicken and no layer of oil sat on top! One portion is enough to share between two. Everything was very fresh and not greasy. The only thing missing was we needed some sort of wet wipes or wet towels at the end as we did have a lot of food on our fingers. We will be back!

Worst Customee service you can imagine! Aparently they have too many customers and hence no need to be friendly but arrogant. Never again!

We arrived here by accident as our taxi driver couldn’t find the Indians we wanted to go to based on trip adviser reviews. Only reason we did t pick this restaurant was because of lack of reviews. There were only 3 albeit all excellent t. So he recommended here as he has been a few times on a Sunday where they do all you can eat offer. There was 9 of us but we only waited about ten mins for a table. Service was fantastic they really could t do enough for us. Far too much food as usual. Really was one of the nicest Indian meals I’ve had and I eat a lot of them. It was good to see a lot of Indians eating I the restaurant too which is always a good sign. The restaurant is also immaculate and reasonably priced too. Definitely worth a visit

They gave us some of the flour and lentil bread, the papadam. The papadam is quite stale, not fresh at all. Their other location makes and offers the dosa, again. This is the second Indian restaurant that’s told us that in the past month. Sam / Sammy is waiting on us. We ordered the Gobi Manchurian, 2 green salads, garlic naan, channa masala, veggie korma and a chili chicken, none of the last 3 were on the menu at all. The first gobi Manchurian was soggish and not crispy enough for us. The second was definitely crispy, but it has barely any chili or ginger or taste at all, it’s just a crispy cauliflower is all. Several pieces were just breading. Wasn’t excited since the chicken on its way would be in the same sauce. We never got our salads, luckily they were never put on our bill at all. The garlic naan wasn’t bad. As expected the chili chicken was also underwhelming. Flavorless, not crispy and not the best quality chicken either. I had enough after two bites of it. The Chana masala is good, it has nice flavor, slightly spicy too. The mixed veggie korma was so-so, it had paneer in it, which I am not a big fan of, at all. Food was disappointing. Service wasn’t bad.

Aashirwad has authentic Indian food with some modern twists. Each of their dishes is made fresh and definitely has the taste to prove it. Prices are a little on the higher side, but you definitely get your money's worth. Servers are attentive and very helpful. Overall, fantastic experience!

If You are looking for a good indian food near universal then this is the place..food is good and service was surprisingly great for indian restuarant. The place was clean, ambiance was good and food was good. What more can one ask.

We like indian food and this is one of the better one's. Party of 5, where two had CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA, one had MURG KORMA, one had LAMB KORMA and I had LAMB ROGANJOSH (which was very tasty and tender- would eat it again any time). The plain nan breads were also very good. We had booked a table which was good since it was quite full. I also have to mention the service by Ankita - pleasent service. We are leaving tomorrow so it is not likely that we will come back, but for you that is looking for indian - this is a good choise.

We visited as a couple and had a great curry here. The mango lassi was delicious, followed by vegetable samosas to share. I had a paneer dish, and my husband a vindaloo, both with rice and a naan bread to share. All food was very good indeed, great portions and tasty. The taste was slightly different than we are used to the UK, but that was actually a nice thing! Great food, friendly service and nice atmosphere - we’ll be back! :)

Very good food. The chutney was really good. Chicken biryani was excellent. So is the lamb , Nann, pappad etc. Pleasant atmosphere.

Excellent service, excellent dinner! This is our second experience in this restaurant, we recommend it.👍🏻

We followed good reviews and tried this restaurant at lunch time. Excellent in all aspects! Service was fast, efficient, attentive and helpful. Amazing dinner menu. Lunch Menu was reduced what I think is great because our orders came fast and incredibly fresh. At lunch time they have also a complimentary small salad buffet with fresh options of dressing and a dessert. We tried lamb in red curry, shrimp in coconut curry, chicken in tomato base thick curry sauce, grilled chicken and lentil soup. Everything was perfect and delicious. Naan bread was fresh, tasty and warm. Basmati rice perfectly cooked. The restaurant is very clean, organized and comfortable with a nice atmosphere. Five stars..... 👏👏👏👏 Our favorite Indian restaurant in Florida!

I’ve been to this restaurant twice before and the food and service excellent ….however this time was different(Sept 2024) Service was awful,we were ignored for most of the evening and the staff cleaned the floor around us. I have eaten in many Indian restaurants in the states, and my partner has travelled extensively throughout India(so appreciate tastes are very different around the world) neither of our main dishes resembled the description, and tasted really odd. This review has been left several months after visiting, and things may have improved. However,we won’t be returning.

I recently visited Aashirwad Indian Restaurant for my father’s birthday and I have to say I wasn’t blown away by the food. The poppadums and chutney were beautiful. Extremely fresh and filled with flavour as was the naan bread however it was the curry that let us down. Across our family of five, the majority of us ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala which was quite different to the typical dish you would find in the UK however it wasn’t terrible. If I’m honest it tasted as though it came straight from a jar, something you wouldn’t expect in such a highly rated “authentic” cuisine. Additionally, the rice was fairly cold which added to the disappointment of our visit. To summarise I think I would give this place a second chance however I’m in no rush to return quickly. If you like jar based curries, this is the place for you.

Horrible buffet, not hygienic, there was no plexus glass shield, not much choice, food tasted bad, they charged us for soft drinks. Not going back ever!

It was ok! When you've had enough of burgers, chips, nachos etc...then it's a good fix. I had a Chicken Vindaloo and it was ok. Probably very average for a UK Indian Restaurant in comparison. The Vindaloo sauce was no where NEAR as hot as back home and the sauce was really sweet. We all had an ok meal but wouldn't be in a hurry to return. Service was good. As a tip - I would suggest booking and trying to get a booth. The booths look MUCH better.

Friendly, helpful, reasonably priced and food delicious. Explained levels of heat to food and offered to change it if needed. Excellent service. But no rush to leave as we were waiting to be picked up. Highly recommend a visit here.

Visited this restaurant as I saw some good reviews. But to my surprise, the quality of the food is terrible. Tried the appetizer and main course and very much disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all.

This was proper Indian food cooked exquisitely with decent sized portions and fantastic naan and paratha breads. You get puppodums and chutnies brought to your table with drinks and you are not charged for these, even if you ask for more. I had a traditional Lamb curry which was nicely spiced and my wife opted for a green chicken tikka which was succulent. My daughter had a Chicken Hyderabadi the portion size which defeated her. Rice is also included with main dish orders which is a nice touch. Great venue for the curry fan!

Average Indian food, average orlando pricing. I guess it might be the best Indian available in the area judging that 3 of 6 tables were Indian families. Not the best but not tge worst Indian I've ever had.

Very good, we regularly visit Indian restaurants and this was well up there. Service was particularly good. Certainly recommend the Onion Bharji and Chicken Madras.

Very friendly staff, the food was lovely and fresh with big portions- take home box is a must ! Price is reasonable with rice included with all dishes.

First time at this restaurant as myself and my husband love Indian food, the quality and freshness of the food was very good. We shared two main curry dishes and two nann breads which was more than enough for us both. Staff very friendly would definitely go back on our next visit to Orlando.

My visit didn't leave me with much of a positive impression unfortunately. Food was average at best. From the web site and reviews I had expected well above average good but that wasn't the case. I can't really recommend a visit based on my experience.

Hands down best Indian cuisine we have had in a long time. The flavors of the food compare to New York and Washington DC. I recommend anyone visiting the Orlando area -Convention Center or theme parks to try Aashirwad. Ask for Sergio He is an amazing waiter who made great recommendations and was extremely attentive.

Went with a group of friends after a long hot day at the theme parks. I understand we where a little late, but instead of turning us away if necessary, we where seated and rushed to the max to order drinks, appetizers, main meals and anything else all together. We hadn’t even started the appetizers when the main meal arrived. The table was so small and everything crammed together, barely any space, causing meal dishes to topple over because we had to place them on top of each other or on top of cups. As we where still eating, cleaning crew was standing and hovering with brooms and mops and rags waiting for us to get out. Finally they started turning off lights, music and cleaning crew started pacing back and forth from where we where seated. Food and portions was mediocre for the price being charged for them. DID NOT ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE AND DEFINITELY WAS NOT WORTH $500 bill for the food, service and hospitality. Will NEVER go back there nor recommend anyone else.. Extremely disappointed. 😡😡😡

We had the lunch buffet it was good. The taste and the spread both were good. The non vegetarians might rate it even better

Heard it was best Indian food in town and did not disappoint. Excellent service, quick and food cooked at proper spice level. Naan was excellent .

One of the best Indian restaurant in the eastern sea board. Manali who helped us in serving was an amazing host. I would recommend this restaurant to be tried if you are in Orlando. We are vegetarians and it’s a rarity to find a cuisine having the variety with exceptional taste ✅

Came to this spot after being recommended by a friend from India. Atmosphere and service were wonderful. Reasonably prices and not too busy. You can tell this is a popular spot for local business executives nearby. Lunch rush was not too busy but they offered good portions and were very attentive. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala platter which came with a good portion of rice, plain naan, a soup and piece of tandoori chicken. Samosas were also very fresh and tasty. Highly recommend if in the IDrive/Universal área Im Orlando.

Great sign when the restaurant is full of local Indians. The service as usual was amazing.. very accommodating and quick to seat us and ask for drinks ASAP. The most charming moment was when we asked the waiter for something and he shouted to more mature waiter for assistant “UNCLE” “UNCLE” Great food awesome atmosphere! Please eat here!

Super flavorful Indian food Their lunch menu is super well served and cheaper. For dinner they have less sides and prices are more expensive. If you’re ordering through uber eats or other apps, they charge the dinner prices! I always have the lamb biryani and chicken tikka masala! Delicious dishes

Relaxed setting, with kind and attentive staff. Extremely generous portions, and the food was out of this world. Here's a rundown of the dishes we enjoyed. Gobi Manchurian- Indo-Chinese flavor profile in this amazing cauliflower dish. Perfect balance of heat and sweetness, with a light breading made this plate a star. Tandoori Mushrooms- Stuffed criminis, that were gargantuan, and bursting with deliciousness. Plenty of heat here. Sensational. Chicken Vindaloo- Another excellent choice for lovers of spicy cuisine. I love a vindaloo where the vinegary aspect really shines right to the edge of overpowering. The chef here is excellent. All the food was exciting, fragrant, herbaceous, and aggressively prepared, but in the best possible way. Chicken Tikka Masala- Decadent, creamy, lots of ghee, subtle heat. Well-balanced. Super delicious. Lamb Biryani- Rice was perfect, light and moist, beautiful saffrony finish, lamb was delicious, moist and tender. Another winner. The raita was of a perfect texture. Extra refreshing, and served as the perfect buffer to all of the bold flavors. Order lots to balance the heat in many of the dishes. Butter naan was also delicious, if not quite as impressive as the other offerings we enjoyed. Mint chutney was lovely, tamarind sauce skewed slightly sweet for my taste, but kids will love. Go, and come hungry, you won't be disappointed. Would return in a heartbeat

The manager came by the table, always a good sign. Food was good, lots of families and couples enjoying. Less than 1 minute wait time. Will return!

Nice authentic Indian food. Service is quick and staff is friendly and attentive. Located very close to Universal. One suggestion though - a lot of people would like to come for dinner after finishing Universal around 10 pm, but the restaurant closes at 9.30.

Highly recommendable. My wife had the chicken tikka masala and I had the lamb shank roganjosh; we both enjoyed our meals immensely. Wish I had known about the small plates beforehand, so will definitely try these when we come back

Recommended by our Uber Driver and when I checked it out online I thought great rating we'll give it a try. Possibly the worst food I have ever eaten in my life not to mention the worse Indian food. Very expensive night for bad food. If you enjoy Indian food please avoid, you will be extremely disappointed.

During our vacation in Orlando we decided to find a Indian restaurant as we have a very limited selection where we live in NS, Canada. The reviews were good so we selected Aashirwad . We were seated at one of the many booths and right away the service was really good. The restaurant provided complimentary poppadoms with a mint dipping sauce and also a tamarind dipping sauce. We skipped on appetizers and ordered the chicken hyderabadi and lamb rogan josh. Both dishes arrived with steamed rice. The portions were very generous with lots of meat in both dishes. Also, the chicken and lamb were cooked to perfection. The only gripe was that the sauces had a slightly processed taste on the first few bites but seemed to improve as we continued eating...weird, eh. All in all, a very nice meal and at a very reasonable price point.

Fantastic Aurhentic Indian Food which is hard to find in Orlando. Have now been here at least 4 times & definitely will return.

There were 4 of us, each with different requirements. Food was not overly spicy, it was just right. The server was very helpful in recommending particular dishes to match each of our tastes.

AMAZING FOOD!!! We ordered the Chola Bhatura and they way we loved it, we just had to come back, which is when we ordered Aloo Paratha which tasted like comfort. 10/10. Totally recommend.

Amazing food!!!!! This restaurant is the best !! I am amazed by the quality of food. The flavor, the packaging , the amount of food! I ordered several dishes and all of them were perfect!! The Bharwan Aaloo was amazing!!! Highly highly recommend !!

Well...I honestly think some of the bad reviews are fake. I've visited this restaurants sooooooo many times and never had such a horrible experience. Food is good! I've had it many times and it is consistently good. I want to mention that 80% of their customers are Indian....they won't come to this restaurant over and over again if the food is not good! The restaurant is well known in the Indian community! My favorite option is the buffet. My kids are very picky and they love the fact that they can choose whatever they want and if they don't like it they go back and choose something else. The only time I got disappointed is the day they had some kind of pudding instead of my favorite Mango ice cream (I'm sure it has a special name) in the lunch buffet. Service is good too. Never had any issues.

Desperate for some food with flavour after the ‘theme park diet’ & this restaurant certainly ticked that box. Really good service, friendly & attentive. Food was very tasty & spicy. Had the chicken chilli momos (spicy) & samosas to start. Chicken tikka masala & lamb biryani to follow with naan & poppadoms. Very tasty & very filling. Was absolutely stuffed. Washed down with a bottle of plonk (reasonably priced for Orlando) & left very satisfied. Would recommend.

Our new favorite in Orlando for Indian cuisine. Delicious food with unique dishes. Attentive service, friendly staff.

We were really looking forward to visiting this place based on the positive reviews. We were seated fairly quickly as the restaurant didn’t appear to be that busy. Everything thereafter seemed to be rushed from our drinks order to mains to settling the bill, like they were expecting an imminent coach load of hungry patrons. The food was okay. Not to the standard of UK Indian restaurants. Very pricey as well but that is the state of Orlando just now.

Best indian weekend buffet in my life! Not possible repeat each of 10 dishes. Greant and elegant restaurant, great services.. by far best indian buffet over 20 i try. May be too cheap and not one plate spicy. Sides great as for example naan bread just done and hot.

I was pleasantly surprised by the menu and the food. Sometimes too much curry will give me reflux, but they had the right amount along with other spices. Everything I ordered from appetizers to main dish was tasty and delicious. Service was top notch and I would highly recommend this restaurant

Came to try a new type of food. We went around noon to their buffet. The aroma upon stepping inside was insanely delicious. I tried bit of everything. It was fantastic. The food was continuously brought out fresh and the naan was great too. Malali was our server and made sure to check in often to clear our used plates and refill drinks. It was very clean as tables were cleared immediately. Great place to try authentic meals, I will come again.

When we arrived we had a drink at the bar while our table was prepared, I noticed at least 50% of customers seated were Indian families which gave me confidence straight away, a proper restaurant not just a tourist trap. Well we weren’t disappointed, the food & service was excellent. Tender chicken & lamb, nice flavours, especially Chicken Madras (which wasn’t on the menu but made fresh for us) A great Friday Night Curry in Orlando. Our Taxi Driver goes to this restaurant once per month with a group of other Taxi Drivers.... again a good sign. Well worth a visit

A restaurant in this tourist area could get away with being average and still do well. I love Indian food in general but the food here is a notch above. Their menu has items not typically found in the average ‘Indian food in the US’ restaurant. And the flavors are more sophisticated as well. Additionally the service is excellent and friendly. All around great find and conveniently located close to many hotels and the I drive corridor.

Great food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff! Great choice of vegetarian mains. The garlic naan is delicious

Lovely food, great atmosphere and staff very friendly and attentive too your needs…………………………………………………………………………….

Fabulous food in a lovely atmosphere. Highly recomend the palak paneer, superb spicing and tasty. Reasonable prices, big portions and made to order

Went here during a trip to Orlando. Looking for a place to cater for vegetarians. This worked out really well. Food was excellent and very friendly, helpful service. One of the highlights - they do Masala tea - something I generally ask for more in hope than expectation

We chose this Indian due to the reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed our meal was delicious. We chose the following: To start - Samosa, Onion Bhaji, Bhindi Bhel (okra) Main Courses - Murg Hyderbadi, Methi Murg with a Garlic Naan Bread. The food was very tasty and large portions,, we were very full after our long and busy day at Daytona. The only negative I would say was the price of the two beers we had - $19!!

We had a lovely dinner here. Food was delicious and service excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and suggested a cashew, fenugreek greens and paneer dish that was superb. It’s not the fanciest place but clean and nice with a good choice of dishes. All our choices had different, subtly blended spices. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Was very rushed to order food and drinks. Food came and waiter threw rice stuck to his hand back into the bowl of rice!! Food was shocking, over cooked and rubbery, it didn’t taste good at all. Extremely unhappy with this considering how highly rated it was. Do not go by the rating.

The food is authentic Indian food, though a bit pricey for the average ambience. The Kadhai Chicken was very tasty and well presented. Automatic Gratuity of 18% was included in the bill - which we did not appreciate. Gratuity is paid to server, as a token of appreciation for the services they have provided for the customer- IT is not automatic

The food was absolutely amazing, we got seated quickly and got our food not long after we ordered! Our waitress was Manali and she definitely made us feel welcome at the restaurant as well as providing great customer service! Over all I gave a rating of 5/5 stars because I really had a good experience and had no problems.

My wife, me and our friend visiting from Atlanta stopped in for dinner. We have eaten here a number of time and it is always good to - tonight was even better than good. All three of us just loved our meals. I can’t say enough about the flavors and taste. Our server, Manali, has taken care of us before. She is also fantastic. It feels like we are welcome family when we come in the door. Compliments to everyone at Aashwarid on a job well done

The menu provides a meal option for everyone. The only issue we found was there was only 1 type of fish present the night we went. The restaurant is very pretty and comfortable. The service was very good as well. I plan to return the next time I am in the area.

Visited for dinner one evening and were greeted by friendly staff. We enjoyed some delicious Chili Chicken to start, followed by Bhuna Kadhai Chicken and Banarasi Dum Aloo, both of which which was super tasty! At the end of the meal, we got treated to a massive, scrumptious mango cheesecake on the house for our birthday! The place had a great vibe, and the staff were super welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We would highly recommend if you’re into authentic Indian cuisine.

Staff was very hospitable and the food was authentic, would definitely go again!!! We Had the chicken biryani , Chicken tandoori and chicken korma!

We booked an hour or so before arriving and we were given a booth upon arrival. I ordered the rogan josh and my husband ordered the vindaloo. My husband said his was nice, however he could not stop eating mine and was still talking about my curry when he got home. The naan and poppadoms were enjoyable too. I tried the mango lassi and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and professional and we would definitely go back again - although probably to order two rogan josh’s!

Food was average. We were visiting from London and came for a nice Christmas Day Meal. Expected great service for such a big holiday. Service was very poor. The speed at which this restaurant expect you to eat is ridiculous. Food was taken off our table as they had “75 tables waiting”. All they want is you to eat and turn tables around so then can get more people in. Not worried about people having a good experience. Advertised as a high class restaurant, definitely isn’t.

If you know good Indian food, check this place out. We’re from the UK and this was easily the best meal we ate on our holiday.

This outstanding restaurant and bar is the best Indian in Orlando service is excellent and we came back here and I’m sure anybody would Staff are so welcoming and friendly best in Orlando

No Business Responsibility I drove 1 hour to arrive at this restaurant. Business has an advertisement stating they open at 5 pm. At 5:15 pm they were still closed. Absolutely unacceptable business practice.

‼️BEWARE‼️ Worst food I've ever had in the USA. This is some pathetic Americanized Indian garbage! 😤 We ordered Vada Pav, Chicken Bhuna, salad, Romali Roti, Tandoori Chicken, and Kheer Bruli, and shelled out $85 for this trash. The Chicken Bhuna was a disgrace—sweet, can you believe it? When we complained, they just dumped some chili powder in and made it even more inedible. The chicken was rubbery and undercooked. If I wanted Americanized Indian food, I would've just ordered Butter Chicken. The Kheer was a joke, and $9 for a tiny salad of onions and tomatoes that one person can't even eat properly? Ridiculous. Get a grip, owners, and stop ripping off tourists. I could get $85 worth of groceries from Patel Brothers and eat Chicken Bhuna all week. What a scam!

I am so happy to have found this place. We drive in from Winter Garden, which is not far... but it is worth it. We have eaten here at least once a month for the past few months. When restaurants were closed to take out only, we would go pick up. When they re-opened for dining, we were skeptical because not every place is taking the proper precautions to make me feel safe. These guys are doing it RIGHT. They have things set up for distancing- they do not seat people at tables next to each other, and they only use every other booth. The servers wear masks and gloves. I did see most people entering were wearing masks, which was good. We were in for birthday dinner for my daughter the other night- and we usually order butter chicken. Our usual waiter seems to know our order now and he reminds me that in this particular place, butter chicken is dark meat, if you want white meat, you have to order chicken tikka masala. I forgot this last time and we had a different server from usual. The food came out and I realized it was the dark meat, which we do not like at all. I was reluctant to complain because it was really my mistake, but when the waitress came to ask how was the food, I told her what had happened. She took the food back, without question or issue, and within a few minutes we had 2 delicious orders, perfectly spiced- hot and fresh. She did pack up the uneaten food to send with us- I am glad to see that they did not just throw it out. This is a lovely spot, clean and quiet, with delicious food and excellent service. For a wonderful meal, the price is always super reasonable. I am able to feed three of us, with at least one glass of wine, 2 mango lassies, 2 orders of chicken tikka masala, 2 na'an.... with a fat tip for 75 dollars and there is always some left to take home- and they will give you some extra rice to take home if you ask for it.! Great job to everyone at Aashirwad.... we will continue to come back.

Food was delicious! Restaurant was clean and modern. Staff were very attentive. I will come back next time I’m in Orlando. Yum!!

If you’re ever in this area please take the time to visit here. The atmosphere is just lovely. The customer service is superb. The food is sooo delicious. Our waitress took the time to explain the menu and suggest popular dishes based on diet/food preferences. 10/10!!!! Please visit here!!!!!

It was an amazing surprise near Universal parks. Just a few minutes from Universal a tasteful Indian cousine, a good service, many options, affordable price.

We had a good experience at this restaurant last year for a la carte dinner with family when visiting Orlando . The hostess Manali was very warm and we had a pleasant conversation about Goan cuisine which we noticed on the menu and of course the food was authentic. We wanted to try the lunch buffet but were leaving the next day .So this year we went for the lunch buffet today. The food was good with both veg and non veg options and our server was waiting on us( maybe the owners son?) however I did notice that he was very brusque with us but extremely warm and chatty with others who were not Indian. It was almost like we were unwelcome there .. However we let it not affect us and focused instead on the food .

We chose this restaurant as it is ranked 26 and it’s within 2km of our hotel - DoubleTree by Hilton and within a kilometer of the Outlet mall. We were warmly received by the service team, and offered complimentary iced water and papad with mint sauce. For starters we ordered onion bhaji and Bhinda bhel - the dishes arrived shortly after ordering and they were generous portions. We also ordered Chicken tikka - spicy, with peppers and onions and delivered sizzling to our table! This dish is normally quite bland - but not this one!! There were about 12 pieces of chicken. For mains we had chicken makhani and lamb rogan josh. So delicious! The gravy was thick and such a generous portion! The naan options were garlic, chili or onion - we had chili and garlic!! Let me say it again - delicious! The soda for $2 is refillable! Our bill came to $100 with a tip. We went a second time a day later. This time we ordered a Lamb Hyderbadi, a kadhai prawns and chicken makhani and for starters we ordered the bhindi bhel and chicken tikka. The masala chai was divine! With fresh ginger and a heady mix of aromatics.

We had the best possible experience at Aashirwad Indian Food and Bar. Manali was a wonderful server and we enjoyed the fresh and delicious dinner which was a mix of menu items from our part of the world (Konkan) too and not just North Indian food. Most restaurants don't get the other cuisines as authentic! but Aashirwad was a complete winner! we were told that the owner really tries to get the regional flavors right and boy were we impressed! We will definitely visit again!

Oh how I’ve missed having a place that I knew would serve consistently excellent Indian food. My wife and I haven’t really had a place that we felt drawn back to for many years, since I lived in NYC, but this restaurant is that place for us. It’s worth the trip and the traffic every time. We had the Morg Korma, Lamb Roganjosh and Palak Paneer.. all three were excellent! We can’t wait to try something new next time.

We’ve been to Florida / Orlando many times over the years and have never really found a decent Indian restaurant...we now have! Visited tonight and the atmosphere was chilled and most importantly, food was excellent. Tasted really fresh and very tasty and not overly priced. Dinesh, our server, was very helpful and suggested different starters and gave advice on the spiciness of the dishes. Would definitely be returning on our next trip!

As soon as i walked through the door i knew i was in for a treat ,the place was buzzing with diners @7 lamb starter chicken tikka mains and a tandoori garlic naans even made an aloo gobi which wasn’t on the menu fantastic work see you again

By far the best Indian food I’ve had in Orlando. I’ve been a few times to Orlando however not been for quite a while and the last time I visited it was hard to find a good Indian restaurant with decent food but we are glad we found this place!! Dined in with family and the food was very tasty and what I would expect from a decent restaurant. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food. I went back 2 days later for a takeout which was excellent!! Thankyou to Hoky for his help and service.

In a desert of franchise restaurants, Aashirwad Indian Food is a delightful change! Our large family was well accommodated, service was fast, and the food was amazing. Our young children loved the Mango Lassi and Naan Bread. While the rest of us enjoyed large lunch portions, as well as the many vegetarian options. We will be back for sure!

Decent size portions. Big booths. Tandoori chicken good. Other stuff fairly average. I think we are spoilt where we live, with very good Indian restuarnts so it had a lot to live up too.

Good tasty Indian food, had lunch Thali and appetizer. The little salad bar was not that good. I had just a little bit of that.

Very delicious and smart service - thanks. We ordered 3 different chicken dishes and mentioned a bit more than medium spicy. For our taste it was perfect in combination with Cheese Naan and finally more than fair prices.

Great atmosphere, and even better food. We were searching for a non chain place to eat with authentic food. And were we ever glad we chose this place! We had the shrimp Peprissa as an appetizer. My husband had the lamb chops and I had the chicken in the black pepper gravy. I would eat there once a week if I lived nearby. Great value. Great prices!!!

The food was excellent and good value for money especially the Friday/weekend buffet . Staff are friendly and attentive.

We ate here last night, a party of 8 of us, from arrival, the service was excellent, poppadoms were crisp, and fresh, and served with a slightly different pickle tray than back in the UK. However, anything we asked for was swiftly brought out. Between us we ordered 3 different starters, and they were all very good. Main meals, rice and naan all equally good. All washed down with a traditional Indian beer, I have never seen before, which went very well with the meal. All 8 of us really enjoyed it, highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Aashirwad Indian Restaurant. The papadums with mint and tamarind sauces were so tasty! We loved: the chicken 65, the samosas, the chicken vindaloo, and the chicken korma. My wife said she would have the Chicken 65 as a meal. The restaurant is impeccably clean. The restrooms are clean. Love the decor. The service was excellent. Thank you. We will be back…this weekend.

This was by far the best Indian food we have enjoyed. The service was attentive and gracious. We had Chicken Tikka and Eggplant in a coriander and coconut curry. Everything was delicious. The flavors were amazing. Just the right balance of seasonings and spices to create a symphony of flavors. We visit Orlando frequently and will return to this excellent restaurant in the future. It is our new go to for great Indian food in Orlando.

When in FLorida we have always been regular visitors to this restaurant but we were disappointed when visiting recently. The menu changed earlier in the year and in our opinion the food is not as good as it used to be. There is no signature curry, chicken thighs are now cooked in place of chicken breast. The staff are still very friendly and helpful but the decor and menu are tired

We visited the restaurant twice a day during our recent visit. Each and every staff is very nice and polite with a genuine smile. The food is authentic Indian and amazing in taste.

We love Indian food but have never really enjoyed it in Florida, we have some amazing restaurants in Glasgow and the ones in Florida just never seemed to measure up until we tried Aashirwad! The food was absolutely fantastic, some of the nicest indian food we've tried. The staff were also so lovely attentive but not in your face. We had chicken 65 hubby said it was one of the best starters he's had and I had the basket, delicious! Our curries were very tasty and the chilli naan was excellent. Definitely recommend and we've added another must do to our list for when we're in orlando.

Buffet is on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon and we have just returned. Without a doubt the best meal and best value on international drive great choice of food. Cool water topped up when required. Good service but not over powering 3 of us ate for under $50

We really LOVED... Lambs, chicken, breads all tasteful among very friendly people serving us... we highly RECOMMEND!!!

We came here one time about a year ago and loved it. We had annual passes to one of the parks and part of our trips up from then on were “and we can go to Aashirwad!” We’ve have been there several times now and the food has always been excellent. We live in PBC and wish there was a restaurant like this down here.

Great welcome from staff, we all had starters which were good although the samosas are in a soft pastry. Mains we had biryanis which hubby liked, son had chicken curry which was suppose to be a madras but was more mild. I had the chicken vindaloo which was more like a madras, so if you like spice go for the next spice level up. Plenty of spiced poppodoms, all had beers and came to $95. Portions good size, had to take some back as too much. Shout out to Shub and Dinesh who were knowledgable, attentive and always checking in to make sure we were happy. Would recommend if you want a nice fresh curry made to you choice of spice, just ask.

This is the restaurant our son picked to go for his birthday. When he looked online he had looked at the dinner menu and we went for lunch but we still found so many options whether with or without meat. Great flavor to the food. Lamb dish was great as well as different appetizers we tried and the eggplant dish. Plan to go back. The restaurant is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. Very reasonable prices and the staff is very helpful. I could eat the naan bread all day long!

Came here as we are massive curry fans. We were not disappointed. Staff absolutely excellent! Nothing was too much for them. Food was the best, my two younger kids enjoyed their curries too, they cater well for kids. Chicken korma and chicken tikka was excellent. Managed to get a seat straight away without booking, they were busy too but very attentive.

Food was uniformly excellent from the samosas to the naan to the papadamto the lassi drinks to the biryani to the paneers. Service was attentive and the quantity was generous. Excellent value.

Delicious Indian food. When we arrived to find many of the customers appeared to be Indian; we knew we were in the right place. Restaurant was beautiful inside. Service was fast and friendly. Prices very reasonable for the beautiful meal.

We were at the Universal studios and I was looking for a Indian restaurant nearby. TripAdvisor showed me this place and we decided to drive there. We got seated immediately. The restaurant looks very nice, modern and clean. We felt very comfortable. The service is great, fast, friendly and very helpful with recommendations. The food was so delicious. We had Indian food everywhere on this planet and they for sure do a awesome job. We were impressed and very happy with picking this restaurant! The portion was good and filling. I had leftovers and enjoyed it the next day.

Poor quality overpriced food, service was slow , food come out at different times so we all ate at different times , had to keep asking server where missing food was and as lucky to get one round of drinks , was overcharged on bill by $30 and not told service charge was already added so ending up giving a 40%tip , would not go again and cannot recommend

We went there and really enjoyed. Naan was good. Basil chicken, bindhi, coconut lime shrimp, and chicken tikka masala all very good. Full of Indian people, which is always a good sign.

We enjoyed our visit to this Indian restaurant. We started with Bhindi Karare Bhel. I liked it more than my husband who felt the okra was over cooked. We ordered a chicken and a lamb dish. They were too similar and when we got the bill we felt the name of the chicken dish was different from what we thought we ordered. We would return but be more definite in our order.

Well what can I say, if carlsberg did Indian restaurants! Best Indian meal I've ever had. After getting caught in today's thunderstorms, what better way than to dry off with the mellow heat of the lamb rogan Josh curry, washed down with a cool taj Indian lager. My wife and son opted for the chicken tikka and they too were not disappointed. Being from Glasgow in Scotland, it is well renowned World wide for its standard of curry, but the Aashirwad is probably the best curry house in the world. The Staff are also supper friendly and helpful. 5 stars every day of the week.

Tasty, various food who will make you travel. Curteous staff, really affordable price. A must go, without hesitation !

Excellent food and impeccable service by Hokesh- who had great suggestions for the variety of food served. This place is clean and great ambiance as well, we will be back! Thank you

What a wonderful dining experience. We tried the ragara patties, aloo parantha, butter chicken, and the palak paneer. We especially loved the gobi Manchurian. We will definitely return.

Food was great, hot and fresh, atmosphere was comfortable and our server, Manali, was fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Will come again.

This restaurant was close to universal and the hotel we stayed so was very convenient. Since holiday season the wait time was very long. So we decided to start ordering takeout from here. Which is what is advisable after having long tiresome day. Every vegetarian dish we tried here was awesome. Couple of them were awesome Paneer Bhagwan Tikka, Vegetable Biryani, and Paneer Makhanwala.

Came here on our first night in Orlando which was the Thursday before NYE. Felt like Indian and it was my parents second time having Indian cuisine. We came right when they opened and Manali was our hostess and she was really nice and checked on us to make sure the food was good and we were doing ok. We had the gobi chili, tandoori chicken, garlic naan and the banarasi dum aloo. Food was really good and we forgot to take pictures but believe me it’s really delicious!! Portions were just right and my dad loves basmati rice 😊. Would definitely come back here for service and food.

Truly authentic and delicious. Great service and a beautiful restaurant. We read all the good reviews and this place, without a doubt, lived up to them.

Very friedly staff and great original food. It was a great experience. Especially zhe chicken haidarabat was great.

Went with the better half to this place as the reviews seemed to be good.. Open up with bottle of wine $28 Thats fine Started with onion bhaji - (dry and crispy) And what we would call a Sheek kebab - Fine / bit too many herbs and spices.. wrapped on what looked like a lolly pop Stick. Mains Everything comes with white rice but we Wanted pilau rice, they said do you want This as an extra, we said no we wanted Instead if the white rice.. he said it would Be extra, we said fine. Chicken tikka masala and (average) Chicken vindaloo the mains (average) Garlic nan on the side also (10 outa 10) Here is where the surprise comes in (The bill) The two extra pilau rice came at a cost Of $22 extra to the meal, and to be honest They where horrible.. carrot, pea’s, dry And one portion would have been enough. Every Indian that i have ever Been on this small planet would give The option of Pilau rice free of charge. No desert (not interested) Service was fine, good man Mohammad I know the Dollar is strong at the moment On this visit, but even if you adjust to Normal ish exchange this place is expensive for the quality of food you Get. Total bill including tip $150 ish If you want an American Indian eatery And you have a few bob to spare Its probably ok for Orlando.. if your on Holiday.. wait till you get home and Save your money for a slap up welcome Home end of holiday meal..

Good authentic taste, service with a smile. Very courteous staff, was easy to get a place despite not having booked. Has parking space onsite.
Finally found real quality Indian!
If you want real Indian, this is the place to get it!! It is so difficult to find excellent, non-generic Indian food. I've been hunting all over orlando and finally found my happy place. Everything we ordered was great quality, melted in the mouth, and had endless flavor. By the end of it my boyfriend and I left floating on a cloud of delicious satisfaction. The staff were attentive and kind. Our server, Sandy, was personable and it was a delight to discuss the menu options with her. She was very patient and sincere. She recommended a couple of dishes that blew my mind. So looking forward to returning.
