We went to this place with friends, suppose to be the coolest sushi place in town. we had 6 different rolls and none of them was any spesial. Just normal as you would get anywhere else in the US. But the place have an reputation and very good service. Nice staff! No complaints! But for what we got was it way to expensive.

The last time I had come here had been in the first dot-com bubble, spending post-party-weekend Sundays scarfing-down multiple orders of their succulently-creamy Philadelphia rolls, scheming with my buddy on toxic bachelor partying strategies. Fast forward 12 years to last Friday night where I had my vegan family of five plus my nephew and his fiancee. We walk-in and it was the normal Marina young-Anglo-yuppie crowd and felt a bit out-of-place with such a large party with 3 kids under 8. But as soon as we walked-in the server was ALL SMILES and they immediately situated us, for our own sanity, in the back, out of the way of the dim sushi bar room that had a very fun party bar social energy to it. As we walked back to our table, the other employees greeted us with welcoming energy greetings. My entire clan was able to catch their nightly bingo game - the kids LOVED it. We ordered their avocado cucumber rolls and they were amazing. And since we hit bingo happy hour, we got a special deal on their Garden Roll (Crispy asparagus with garlic eggplant, avocado and scallion.) I appreciate how they are willing to accommodate vegans. They had some other cucumber vegan roll. Not bad for a sushi place - at least they are aware of our growing population. (My nephew who is not a vegan loved the place too!)

Have to love it when someone has a bad experience because the waiter/ waitress didn't treat them like they were royalty or something. This place is packed and has world class reviews for a reason. My better half and I stayed on Lombard Street within walking distance just because of Ace Wasabi's! We arrived and were offered a table immediately and yes, it was 8:00 PM on a Saturday evening. We really came for the sushi and asked for a place at the sushi bar instead and NO PROBLEM. There is a HUGE selection of every cut and sushi type under the sun, so many that we could hardly move after stuffing ourselves with things normally we wouldn't have tried. The fish were all select cuts, fresh and far from tasteless as one other reviewer stated. Everything was fresh, clean and just plain delicious! The sushi chefs were talkative, friendly, fun and offered many selections including free samples! I can go on and on but this is a gem hid away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists. I have to tell you, being in the bay area only three days; Ace Wasabi’s was right at the top of the TO DO list! Great food, service and area of town!

This sushi and sashimi is extraordinarily delicious. From the beautiful plating to the incredibly fresh sweet taste of the sashimi and sushi. A true treat. Don't miss the green tea cheesecake either. Totally worth the visit. From D.C. To San Fran!

Hit Ace on our first night in town for Happy Hour. Service was good. Some of the happy hour sushi was a bit one note, but the sashimi was excellent. The poke' tostadas were a standout.

Albacore tuna tataki: makes going to the marina and dealing with the sometimes annoying crowd worth it.

Extremely slow service and mediocre food made this sushi stop feel like a waste of time on our trip to SF. Either our waitress or the kitchen forgot about our food. We hadto ask the waitress if our food was even coming at as other tables around us who sat down some time after us were already enjoying their meals. Had the 'rocket man' roll, and I was not impressed. To make a long story short, we would never go back.

Wow, this sushi is amazing. The staff is very cool and helpful. A little bit loud, but nevertheless I went trice, because it is so damn good!

The sushi was great and the staff was fun and engaging. Make sure not to miss bingo. It goes quick but it was a lot of fun. Very unexpected surprise to shake things up for dinner.

My fiance and I were recommended this sushi place for our stay in San Francisco for a few days. We walked from Fishermans' Wharf to Marina District and walked in. It was pretty crowded, but luckily a table for 2 had just opened up. It's a pretty small place, but I would've waited awhile. We came in while the Warriors game was on and you could tell neighbors and locals were at the bar cheering on the game. I was so glad we came here, because it felt like we weren't too touristy. We had an awesome appetizer that the server recommended, and 2 rolls each, and 2 beers each. The servers were nice and attentive. It was about $100 meal, which is expensive (but typical San Fran prices), but some of the best sushi we've had (and we live in Washington DC). I really loved their creative rolls and we licked the plates clean. I would absolutely recommend this place for any friend going to San Fran that wanted sushi. Also, it's a really great neighborhood and there are tons of other bars and restaurants nearby as well.

We love the 3 Amigos roll , it’s a fun place to visit in Marina District. We had fun playing Bingo at happy hours.

Loved this place. The sushi was great - my favorite was the Steiner roll, but it was all good, really. Cute atmosphere, friendly waitstaff. All in all a great place to eat.

This place rocks!!! The food was amazing and the atmosphere, if possible, was even better. The food was very visual as was the crowd. Creative rolls, fresh fish and a very friendly environment. As our former esteemed Governor once said... "i'll be back".....

Great variety of sushi and great price. We tried lot of different rolls and we fall in love with everyone of them. This place is a hidden gem for quality sushi at the right price!

We sat at counter and let the chef pick our plates. Every one was over the top delicious: rocket man, spider, Victoria's secret. Sushi, sashimi, nigiri, salads, kitchen dishes.Beer-wine-sake. Wine list short but high quality. TV. Busy.

I'll never forget their Spider Roll !! - I actuallyy drove from L.A. last time I was in Calif (my dad lives there) just to get back to Ace :)

Nice staff, great location and outstanding California roll, nothing like the depressing 'crabsticks' we have in the UK. One bugbear: the crispy salmon skin roll was cremated rather than crispy but it was still tasty.

I'm a local, living here in SF and I love sushi. We recently tried Ace Wasabi because we were on the north side of the city and we had a terrific experience. Fun atmosphere, friendly staff and chef, and most of all, delicious sushi! We were there early because we had tickets to some event, so we got to try some things from the happy hour menu, and we had the fun of playing bingo at 6:30. Saw a couple of people there with kids but it wasn't noisy, especially compared with most SF restaurants. The price was quite reasonable, given that the sushi and service were so good. (That said, all restaurants in SF are $$$ because there's so much added to the bill in taxes and fees.) Regardless, we'll definitely be back!

Convinced 4 business colleagues to make the trek to Marina District so we could have dinner here. Great choice! Our server Sophie really looked after us well. We had a delicious selection of hot and cold dishes, washed down with great beer and cider. The vine here is great, with music pumping, diners having fun and eating great food. The after sales service is awesome. I needed a tax receipt to claim work expenses, so used the well set up “Contact Us” form on their web site. Ken responded with our full receipt by email in minutes! Definitely bringing more people back again

A very unpleasant service experience. Our waitress didn’t know the menu at all, was all over the place, forgot to bring some of our food and left us waiting for the check for way too long. Good sushi but not worth the braving the environment

Ace Wasabi has very good sushi for a great price. We get 16 sashimi tuna toro, salmon toro and Albacore! The Mongolia IPA is delicious and my girlfriend gets white wine. We will usually have one role and we pick the spider roll which soft shell crab. Toro is the belly of the fish and the best part too. Cheers🍺🍸🥃🍷🥂

We came in on a busy Saturday evening and luckily they had seats open at the bar. Very friendly and thoughtful server, food came quickly and it was delicious! We will definitely cover back here!

This place has been open for a long time, but they are always slammed. You may have to wait but the sushi is worth it and the atmosphere and neighborhood are great.

The best sushi I have ever had. I have been to SF twice, and I I drag everyone to Ace' then I have to drag them away. Its a fun, fantastic place. I even bought a shirt :)

The ambience/decor is fairly spartan; the sushi adequate but not exceptional in any way; the service very slow. With so many sushi options in San Francisco, I would certainly not return here.

We were for happy hour. Nice Attention. We had some really good sushi and delicious sake. Enjoyed very much this place.

It's not often that I get totally spoiled by showing up to a group dinner where all the food and drink is laid on by friends and I'm discouraged from reaching for my wallet. The challenge in reviewing the food is that as I arrived 15 minutes late the food was already arriving and I never saw a menu. As my friends partner Paul is a well known regular at the restaurant, needless to say all the food was just amazing. The fish and vegetables were fresh and crisp (In that order) and the sauces really made them rock! It's a vibrant young crowd but as an older blow in I still felt right at home. It was Friday and packed, so if you plan to dine here you really should make a reservation. Friendly helpful staff and fun atmosphere. Hope I can get there again on my next trip.

Pretty savory sushi...it's just always a challenge for me to find parking near this busy Marina hot spot.

I have made it a point to make it to this restaurant every time I am in San Francisco. Even thought it is a good bike ride from the Hotel Marriott Marquis, it is worth it. I have always had great service, and the Sushi rolls are out of this world. I only wish they opened a little earlier in the day, like 4:00 pm, instead of their actual hours of opening at 5:30 pm. Not a big deal, just my preference.

What a lot of fun at this sushi bar. We played bingo to try to win a $20 gift card to come back to this great place. Even though I didn't win at Bingo, all of the rolls we tried were fabulous!! Tokyo trip gave you a draft beer, Nigori Sake, a roll which was only $9. Try the tempura, California and Gaga's Garden rolls. I wish I had the time to try all of the rolls on there happy hour menu. You should not miss this great and reasonable eatery. The waiters were so welcoming and made us feel at home.

We were visiting our daughter and Ace's is one of her favorite places in the Marina District (and the City as a whole). We love Japanese food and have been lucky to have eaten in some of the very best places in Japan. Ace Wasabi would give many of those places a run for the money. We sat at the bar (it was a last minute decision and all the tables were taken) but one ought to eat sushi at a sushi bar. The gentleman who "served" us --made our sushi and rolls was very good at his "job". When we were ready for our next order, it was ready for us. All in all, a delightful evening We had eel, tuna, trout (rolls and sushi) and California rolls. The seafood was excellent, fresh, good sized proportions.

nice place

This place has been so consistent and just proper for so many years. Fun bar. Great staff. Go on any weeknight Ask then to tell you what to order.

My husband and I went to Ace Wasabi's this past summer and really loved it. My husband was sure I wouldn't be able to finish the two large rolls that I ordered, and that I did was somewhat shameful, but it was so good, I couldn't bear to leave any. A little difficult to find parking, but well worth the effort. It was crowded with what looked like recent college grads meeting after work, which brought back some happy memories for us! I will definitely go back next time I'm in San Francisco.

We like to sit at the counter right in front of the chefs. Their creative artistry is amazing to watch. We eschewed the usual rolls and had 3 of their specialties: Back in Black $17, Crunchy Sake $15 and Rocket Man $18. All fabulous. A small bottle of Sayuri sake $19 to complete the experience. Service was good - both a waitress and the chef himself.

I went there an evening with my boyfriend and we were pleasantly surprise of the quality of the food and the overall fun factor. The pricing is totally reasonable too. Great spot.

If you like 90s hip hop and low lighting, this is your spot. We came as a group of ten during a business trip to get away from the stuffy restaurant scene. Everyone really enjoyed the food and was pleasantly surprised. The sushi rolls are served family-style which is hit or miss for some. Our waitress did a great job meeting everyone's needs and being patient with the Italian speakers. The neighborhood seems to have lots of fun places to eat. Would definitely recommend.

Nice music with good sake bar :) we ordered house salad was excellent I had black and black sushi roll it was okay rice was little hard salmon was ok but looked very good decoration with reasonable price. I would enjoy sake more than food.

Went on our last day in SF, wanted to taste the local sushi. We sat on the sushi bar and ordered many sashimi pieces. The fish was fresh, tasted great, they served it with freshly grated wasabi. After that, we ordered some maki rolls, and less than 5 mins later we had them, again delicious. There were many people watching a basketball game on the bar at front, but that did not messed the general atmosphere of the restaurant. Prices were reasonable for sushi, especially considering the quality. Great experience to close our vacations.

Ace is very convenient to many of the motor motels along Lombard street, which was why we were in the area. Reservation was not required on a weekday. Quite a few people were in there, which was a good sign. The sashimi was pretty good. We had one roll that I didn't think was dialed in (I don't remember which, sorry!) but everything else was better than expected. Fatty tuna was extremely good in particular. Over-all the experience was very good, although in the end I felt it was on the expensive side. My experience has been that you're going to pay about the same price for high quality sushi no matter where in the country you are, but this place was a little more expensive than I've seen. I would blame SF real estate, but I didn't find the same thing for other restaurants we went to.

It's obvious that this is a locals favorite. While we were there (on a recommendation of a friend) we witnessed the owner, Ken, personally greet just about everyone who entered the restaurant. Cool place and good food - don't be fooled that it's too small to fit a lot of people inside, the back has another seating area. Delicious rolls whether you like raw fish (I don't) or not - plenty of options and everything was yummy good. We will go back next time we are in the city.

Our friend who lives in San Francisco recommend Ace Wasabi's it was a stone throw from our hotel we tried it out and were not disappointed. We got there late 10pm but they where happy to serve us, Jordan was our server and it was really friendly offering suggestions he knew the menu inside out, which was really helpful as we were unsure on what to order. Had the Spicy Tuna Tartare $9.75, Ozzy rol (amazing taste and crunch) $12.75, Chicken Terriaki skewers plus a lovely bottle of Red Zinfadel which on a Wednesday was 1/2 price at $15.50 (BONUS!!). Total bill $51.69, I would have loved to come back here but we where only in San Francisco for 6 nights and there was so many other places we wanted to try, if you love sushi you'll love this place, if you haven't tried it the staff will help you choose the best dishes and you'll love it I'm sure!!

All of our awesome regular sushi bars are boarded up. So we settle for driving across town to the Marina for huge, roughly cut slabs of fairly fresh fish take-out. Skip the Victoria Secret maki, which might be enticing if it wasn’t for the fried-yesterday, flaccid tempura albacore on the inside. Opt instead for one of the best California rolls ever, with a generous portion of real crab.

After really nice drinks with friends in sung Sausalito we went to this place since it is famous in SFO. We entered in a almost deserted restaurant and therefor got all the attention we could wish for. All food was crispy and fresh, home made Wasabi tasted delicious so we for sure would like to advise people to go, maybe check outside if it is crowded or not (we appreciate a filled restaurant to an empty one).

My fiance and I vacationed in San Francisco in June and stayed just down the street from Ace Wasabi's. At first, we had a difficult time locating the restauarnt, even though the Google told us it was literal outside of our window. A big tree in the front of the place obscured their marquee from view one side of the street. But that's one of the charms about this place - it's in the middle of a neighborhood, chock full of restuarants and shops. We were quickly sat in the front room of the restuarant, just across from the bar. Our waitress was super spunky and definetly fit the rock and roll vibe of the place. I loved the decor of the place! One thing I found that could be improved was the size of the two top tables. They are a little small, especially if you order a few plates at a time. Anyway ... we ordered our drinks, which came very quickly. We toasted each other, and when our server heard we were celebrating our engagement (yep, happend two nights before in Monterey so we were still celebrating), she immediately wanted to do shots with us! To be honest, I'm not a sushi fan, so I'm writing this off of my fiance's comments. I had a house salad, miso soup and the grilled beef short ribs. My meal was so good. The salad was fresh and bright, not overly dressed like some palces do. The beef was cooked well, not as meaty as I would have liked but great flavor and I enjoyed it. My fiance was really looking forward to a sushi dinner while in San Francisco, and he was so glad that this place was in our neighboorhood. The only problem was, he was battling a sinus infection so he could barely taste anything. I will tell you that everything that was brought out smelled so fresh, not overly fishy like you sometimes get at sushi places. I wish I could remember everything he ordered, but I'll try. He had the unagi, himachi, tako, uni and ikura. He also had an octupus dish and a giant roll, but I can't remember which one. Although he was unable to get the full favor of each piece, he was very happy with each one. We lingered around for a bit after our meal was done, to finish our drinks and people watch. By the time we were finished, the place was really busy (it was a Tuesday night by the way). Our server was upset that she hadn't been able to bring our shots - we asked her to wait on them rather than have them before dinner - but we were so tired from traveling, my eyes were closing at the table! All in all, we had a great time and the food was good. If you are in the area, you should definitely check out Ace Wasabi's.

This is located in the Marina District & is in an area packed with small restaurants and bars. 9 people ate dinner. The service was great, the food was fresh and nicely prepared, and the overall atmosphere was ver pleasant!!

Great place to hang out and eat sushi. Great beer list of locals and traditional Japanese choices. Very knowledgable waitresses to help work through the menu. Happy hour from 5:30 to 7:00 offers some really good deals,

Get the scorpion roll and tuna tataki. Too bad the crowd is fratish.

A friend recommended Ace Wasabi to me while I was visiting San Francisco. My daughter and I love good sushi and this establishment was perfect. Not only was the sushi over the top good it was presented in some very unusual ways. They had fish we had never heard off...and of course we had to try them. The music was fun and the decorations gave you lots of things to talk about.

This food experience was great. On a very nice street we found this place and this take-away was just what we hoped for. Fresh sushi, great side dishes, and we were treated very nicely. Our order was processed fast. I would say the price is cheap considering what you could end up spending on sushi.

marina crowd, somewhat loud....sushi's mediocre

This place is more like a hole in a wall. Very clean, locals come here. Be prepared for line up starting at 5:30pm Come early. Sit by the sushi bar and be entertained by the sushi makers. Every sushi is wonderful Wash it down with beer and bring some friends to enjoy the evening. I usually order the miso soup, shrimp salad, and then lots of the terikyi chicken, california roll, rock n roll roll, and mahi ahi sushi rolls. So good. The place is small, can bit a bit loud but it is so wonderful!

While in San Francisco this past weekend, my boyfriend and I found ourselves outside of Ace Wasabi's Rock-n-Roll Sushi on a Saturday night at 5:30, when it opened. We love sushi, and are partial to our favorite sushi restaurant in Chicago, so I am always skeptical about new sushi restaurants. This one won me over in a heartbeat. We started out with edamame, which was a good hunger-quencher until our food arrived. My boyfriend got the lobster mango handroll special, and the crunch wasabi roll with fresh crab, eel, and macadamia nuts. He raved over the handroll for hours, and enjoyed the sweet crunch of the nutty sushi roll. I ordered my standard Dragon Roll, which was very good, and the Three Amigos Roll (without the wasabi tobiko...I'm not really into wasabi), which had eel, tuna, yellowtail with avocado and cucumber. This roll was amazing, and I found myself wishing that my favorite place in Chicago had it on the menu. I also enjoyed a drink called the Roxanne, which contained soju, pineapple and pomegranate juice, and was sweet and refreshing. We were stuffed and couldn't order the other options that we wanted to try on their menu, so we'll have to leave that for next time. Kudos and a job well done to Ace Wasabi's, and I'll be sure to look you up next time I'm in SF.

It was quite dark and so so loud! A young crowd which is fun, loads of groups of ladies drinking and eating sushi which may have accounted for the really shrill noise! I am one so I can say that! They did done interesting stuff with the sushi like mix it with nuts and fruit which you would have thought would work but it didn't. We were unimpressed overall and wouldn't return.

Like Ace's, cool atmosphere. Gets busy and fills up quick. Good happy hour specials. On street parking if driving. .... ......

We had initially planned to go to another restaurant round the corner but by the time we got there they had stopped serving food at 9pm so we were looking around when I found this place absolutely packed on a Tuesday night (always a good sign). So we went in and were greeted with a lovely, friendly waiter - Sophie, who looked after us all night and gave us some cool tips on where to go and places to see in San Fran. Thank you Sophie! The food was absolutely exquisite, my favourite was the lobster roll and also the lemon sole. The chilli (hot) edamame beans were a great side, along with the seaweed. Absolutely delightful evening, if we had time we'd definitely go back!

We were completely satisfied again on our second visit here. The food is of the highest quality and a taste sensation. Be sure to make a reservation as space is limited and there is usually a lot of demand.

My husband felt like pizza... I did not! Luckily we agreed this would be our last dinner whilst visiting San Fran. The food was amazing. Fresh and tasty!! We both wish we could have eaten more! The wine and beer was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect. A good vibe on a Monday night and the staff were all lovely! Erica the bar tender was extremely helpful and friendly! Two lovely ladies who were sitting at the bar next to us took our photo for us as we are honeymooning, and then dobbed us in to Kenny the owner. He congratulated us and offered shots to celebrate! It is moments like these that make your honeymoon memorable. Thanks Kenny and thank you to the two lovely ladies we met. A great night!

Really nice place. The sushi was great and service was excellent. Also really cool atmosphere and very close to lots have bars / shops that have that local feel! We will definitley come back!

Ace Wasabi's Rock n Roll Sushi is worth the effort to find it! I read about it in one of our guide books, and really wanted to try it out. My husband was ready to give up when it took us over an hour to find it, but he thanked me later! We were seated by the sushi bar/kitchen where we saw the magic happen. Sushi chef, Will, was so funny and friendly. He made sure we had everything we ordered quickly, plus he made us some extra rolls to try. We even asked Will to sign our travel book to remember our night for years to come. On certain nights they have sushi bingo for a chance to win free appetizers, etc. I'd definitely recommend this sushi place to anyone who wants great food and a fun experience.

By far the best sushi in San Fran. I was eating alone, which is normally a little uncomfortable, but the staff came to my rescue. Would be sure to visit again.

Ace wasabi is our normal Japanese restaurant to go for in SF. We specially like to enjoy some fine quality shiro toro, sake toro and unagi with a nice bottle of sauvignon blanc.. a light and delicious eat out

Best Sushi ever! No further words needed. Purely incredible. If you miss Ace Wasabi‘s Rock‘n Roll Sushi, you have missed one of the coolest spots in SF.

kamikaze roll... wow!

Love the crab salad and all the specialty rolls and nigiri sushi. The place is a lot of fun, the owner when there will drink and party with you. All the staff is superb!

We went there last week and, while it was decent sushi, it was not worth writing home about. Somewhat tasteless (needed a fair amount of wasabi to taste anything). Also, I was disappointed with our waiter. We are regular and fair tippers for service, which was decent here. However, as we were leaving he came up to us and asked if there was anything wrong with our meal, since we tipped lower than "industry standard". We tipped 15% on the pre-tax bill (which, according to everything I read, is standard). According to him that was too low. We go out to dinner (too) frequently, and have never had any server say this to us. Next time in that area we'll be going somewhere else.

I went to this restaurant with my seven year old and my nine year old. The food was fantastic. I had sushi. The atmosphere was fun with great music. I will be back!

We went with the family to eat during happy hour, the sushi delicious and the price is great! For sure you will have a great time too!

We ate here after reading great reviews on trip advisor, and had great sushi. We were there for happy hour so we had a couple of the things from that menu, a salmon dish, breaded chicken, and also some maki rolls from the main menu which were also great. The staff were really friendly but we waited about 15 mins for our drinks which was disappointing. It was a friendly atmosphere and we joined in their bingo game which was cool too.

10/10 for sushi! great range! so fresh and amazing quality! Great service and didnt take long to get our meal. Our waitress also gave us alot of great tips for places to see and things to do in San Fran. Wish we had sushi like this back home! Would definately recommend all to visit!

Our food was fresh and served promptly. Everyone in the party of eight agreed we would come back on our next SF visit. I would get detailed but we ordered approx 15 different rolls and they were all great. This one is an easy choice.

We stayed at the hotel right across the street on a recent trip to San Francisco and we're so happy that we wandered into here for sushi on our first night! The restaurant is very tiny and loud but the food made it worth the wait for a table. We were happy with everything we ordered. I would say that you have to come with patience because there was only one waitress so the service was a bit slow and it is definitely loud in there but I would go back just for the food.

Delicious! Everything was so good and fresh. I am particularly obsessed with the Black Truffle Edamame. It was crowded and hopping, which was a great vibe but meant we had to wait a bit for service. Once we ordered, the team was very attentive and everything was smooth. I would definitely go back.

We did not! Arriving 10 min late and losing the possibility of eating some of the rolls 50% off. We had the excellent Crunchy ace wasabi rolls, with crab, eel and macadamia nuts . The Ikura (salmon roe) was quite pricey at 6$ for two rolls, while the Tostadas with tuna a good value (4 for 14$). Good atmosphere, great the idea of the bingo, extremely fast and efficient service, good music. We were only unhappy with a table nearby with a bunch of drunken youths.

In the front it looks like it would be a great place to take a date. In the back there are tables that will accommodate the family. Took my Son for Father’s Day with my grand child. They were accommodating had a Hi chair. The waitress was wonderful food was great. Would go again

The only thing preventing me from marking our experience as excellent is the fact that our server, bless her heart, definitely forgot to put our order in until we mentioned something, so it took us about 30 minutes to get our sushi. ...and then she forgot part of our order, so we had to remind her of that part... Otherwise everything was fantastic. We got the chili garlic edamame as a starter and I'm still lusting after it. It is super spicy, but the good kind of burn. I wanted to lick the plate clean of the sauce the pods are tossed in, it was so good. My friend, who has gotten garden rolls all over the Bay Area, said those were the best garden rolls she had ever had. The spicy mango lobster rolls were wonderful, I would go back just for to get that again. When my husband's spicy jalepeno tuna roll (the late part of his order) was worth the wait, but he liked the Cajun shrimp roll the best. He said he was said it was over when he had finished it.
A fun, cool bar/restaurant with deicious sushi
We went to Ace Wasabi in time for happy hour on a Wednesday & the place was packed! They have a really awesome deal where for $9 you get a beer, a sake shot & a generous plate of sushi rolls. I was pleasantly surprised by how excellent the sushi was - we ordered some sashimi afterwards & the quality was stellar (yellowtail & salmon). They also play bingo during happy hour which is a really fun point of difference. My only gripes were our (very) slow waitress & the terrible gyoza, but don't less that put you off - the music was good, atmosphere was excellent & sushi delicious.
