This place is a sleeper. It was surprisingly empty on a Friday night. The service was excellent. The server/bartender was quite knowledgable and helpful. We started with a tuna tartar appetizer. It was well-plated and tasty with taro root chips. I had Copper River king salmon with buerre blanc sauce. At $30, it was a steal! I would have wished for more than two spears of asparagus to go with it, but the salmon was buttery soft and delicious. My wife had a ground meat stuffed eggplant. It had some Middle Eastern spices and was also tasty. We'd come back for more.

We love this place, it's close, great bar and lovely food. And it's in the same block it's as a couple of other places that are more crowded and not nearly as good. It's kind of the new kid in the "hood" and has been working to find its sweet spot since it opened, the current iteration is quite nice. Please give it a try you won't be disappointed.

If you want to step out of the ordinary and experience an extraordinary meal with a Turkish flare, then Ada's is the place for you!!! The owner/chef and all the staff treated us as if we were the only guests there. The menu is expansive and full of vegan, vegetarian options along side the vast choices with meats, poultry and fish. The lentil soup was amazing and my seared scallops was to die for. My dinner mate had the warm vegetable appetizer and the fresh trout. All was superb. A wonderful spot for a romantic meal.

We went to Ada’s because my wife saw them featured on Evening Magazine highlighting that they served Manti. She has loved that dish since we first had it in Istanbul. Ada’s did not disappoint her. I had the Sac Kavurma which was delicious. So why not five stars? I have high expectations I guess. First, the cocktails were expensive, small, and extremely watered down. My Manhattan barely had any color to it when it normally should be an deep amber color. I’m offended to pay $14 for melted ice. Second, the dinner portions were meager. Even with an appetizer, I found myself eating bread and pita after the entrée because I was still hungry. Speaking of bread, we were charged $5 for cold hard bread. If a restaurant is going to charge you for bread, it should be listed on the menu as such, or at least the server should mention the cost when they offer it. Our server was friendly and I understand restaurants are having a difficult time with staffing, but I found myself searching the restaurant for her more often than I felt was necessary. Lastly, the final bite of my Sac Kavurma had a shred of metal in it. I felt something sharp and not the right texture in my mouth and pulled out a metal shaving. It may have been a piece from a metal scouring pad used on the serving wok. It made me wonder if I could have swallowed more of it earlier. Not a good feeling and disappointing for a $100+ meal for two. The restaurant’s response: dessert on the house. Wow, not even an apology from the chef.

Excellent food and ambience, but a bit overpriced. A small portion of lobster bisque soup was $17. Main criticism is that wine by the glass is $14 - that’s about 1.5 times the cost of a decent bottle…and no other choices that I could see.

If you haven’t eaten at Ada’s...DO! We were looking to branch out from some of our usual haunts, and the menu at Ada’s looked good. I’m always a little nervous being the person to pick a new place, but Ada’s did not disappoint! I had the pan seared whole trout and my companion had the Turkish Manti (small meat dumplings with an amazing sauce of yogurt, browned butter and mint. Our dishes were each absolutely divine! Seriously! Their wine list had some lovely selections and we went with the Bellacosa Cabernet Sauvignon...and enjoyed it immensely. We finished off with desserts of rice pudding and profiteroles. I honestly can’t think of adequate adjectives to describe how wonderful the meal was. The Chef came out to check on everyone and our waiter was present as needed, pleasant and didn’t hover, so we could relax and enjoy our meal. All in all a fantastic evening which will be repeated soon!

Who knew? The Greenwood-Phinney area is not famous for fine dining, but this was a super find. We enjoyed every bite, and are Eager to come back and tryeager to come back and try the rest of the venue

The food was outstanding for all 6 of us. We all ordered different dishes and tasted one another`s selections. The service was outstanding. Our waitress answered our questions about the different dishes and was well informed about Turkish cuisine. The menu offered a nice variety including meats, fish, vegetarian, poultry and vegan dishes. I will definitely return on my next trip to Seattle.

We went for dinner last evening and started at the bar with a cocktail. The bartender was very open and friendly and experienced. We enjoyed talking Booze. We were seated in the window and given the best menu that I have seen in Seattle for food that appeals to me. The have lots of vegetarian, fish, and meat to satisfy everyone. This is a really restaurant and they are paying attention to the quality and presentation of their food. We were fortunate to have this restaurant recommended to us as I am not sure that we would have found it soon enough. We will go back often. Delicious!

We met some friends for dinner here last night - so good!!! We ordered from the restaurant week special menu, I had the stuffed eggplant and loved it! Very flavorful. My husband had the ravioli and we both had the lentil soup for starters. The portions we’re generous. The service was exceptional. Baklava and profiteroles for dessert! We shall return! Lighting and music were spot on.

We ate here tonight for Restaurant Week, had not previously known this local restaurant existed. We chose to order off the more limited three course Restaurant Week menu, which had enough options to make us happy. We got the rainbow tapenade and lentil soup, the almond ricotta butter ravioli and vegetable stuffed eggplant (we are not vegans or even vegetarians but inadvertently ordered vegan entrees), and for dessert baklava and profiterole. All items were delicious. Portions not huge but we came away full. There is a decent offering of wine by the glass and beers. All staff we encountered were very friendly. We will be back.

Great find on Phinney Ridge.... had spinach salad starter, lentil soup, and olive tapenade. Best spinach. Wife says lentil soup is outstanding and the tapenade superb. The wild salmon is prepared with the utmost care and the taste is great. The jidori chicken was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. All in all an exceptional dining experience and a real surprise on Phinney. Highly recommended place to dine with real class and outstanding service. A must dine when you’re in the area..... rather a great destination for fine dining in Seattle. Love Ada’s.

Went last Saturday with a friend. Lovely variety, great cocktail and wine choices. We shared an artichoke appetizer that was amazing and enjoyed epic fish and chips! We agreed we would come back and could order the same meals! But they also have many specials and menu options!

WAY Overpriced. Food was bland and not worth what they charge for it. We made a reservation for 5 adults and 2 kids and we got there and they had 3 chairs and 2 high chairs set up in a small little table , shoved in a weird little area. So we had to squish 7 people in this tiny area. Not comfortable. Paid $16 for my daughter for some bland pancakes , scrambled eggs that tasted like water and fruit that they didn’t even bring out. GROSS. Would not come back. My meal was the same. bland bland bland. Eggs were gross. Sausage was weird. Bacon was flimsy and odd. It was just bad.

Friendly and professional service. Humus and Beyti kebab are heavenly Pear dessert is bold and unique Baklava is well baked and fresh kudos to chef and staff

We are all GLOWING! What an incredible feast for husband’s special birthday with adult kids. Fabulous food, amazing cocktails & wine! And then the dessert just showed up! Whoo-Hoo! We can’t wait to come back! Every dish was delectable! The staff was beyond just attentive…so fun!! Quite a gem!

Went here as a couple during Restaurant Week. Service attentive but not fussy. Comfortable, relaxed and rather romantic atmosphere. Food was scrumptious! The desserts we shared, baklava and a chocolate profiterol, lasted about a nano-second as we scarfed them down even after an appetizer and full meal. Hubby had almond ricotta ravioli, I had stuffed eggplant with arancini ball (which was to die for). Splendid tastes, nice folks, little neighborhood gem. Thanks, Delaney & team. Would return.

Went to the restaurant last night for my sister's birthday. We had a fantastic night the food was excellent and the staff were very good. The atmosphere is very good with great music as well. Will most certainly go back again. Thank you for a great night.🤗

WOW!! A whole new experience at Ada's!!! Recently we learned the chef from Daniel's Broiler had moved to Ada's on Phinney so on a whim we decided to give it a try. Well, it turned out to be GREAT!! I had the scallops which were fabulous and my husband had a very tasty ravioli dish. Both were outstanding! Service was excellent and you can actually hear one another which is a rarity in most restaurants these days. They have a good selection of music and a great bartender. Forget the old Ada's - this is a whole different dining experience. It's worth a visit.

My friend and I went to brunch here this weekend and is was absolutely yummy. Everything was flavorful and priced reasonably. The staff is very friendly and I’m definitely coming back for more!

I have been interested in this restaurant for a while but indoor dining continues to be unsafe. I decided to support this business with a take out order for two. When I researched the menu at the business's web site, there was no disclosure of additional fees for take out orders. When I called in the order I was not told there was a fee above and beyond the cost of meals and sales tax. I paid, took my receipt and meals home, and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Then I looked at the receipt and see they tacked a $2.50 charge for take out service. This when people are trying to support small businesses during a pandemic? This was Ada's first and last chance to stick it to me. I might well have gone ahead with the order if the fee had been disclosed up front, but I really balk at having that decision taken away from me. Ada's just lost a new customer.

We visited during the first week that they opened. The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was delicious and the portions were large. The kebab is worth trying. So yummy! Love the neighborhood vibe. We will be back.
Delicious find close to zoo
We were looking for a location close to the zoo after visiting the WildLanterns so took a chance on this restaurant and had a really enjoyable meal from appetizers through desert. Especially enjoyed the lamb shank special! Service good and ambience pleasant. Would definitely return if nearby in future.
