Greg Reichel was playing when we visited. He and his band are so talented and were just what we were looking to hear on a Saturday night. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of this bar! Although the opportunity didn't arise to talk to any locals, this place was really inviting to all ages. We arrived right before the show at about 10 and the crowd was mostly middle aged people. By 11, there were literally swarms of college kids. Be mindful that they hardcore ID, so if you're under-aged, don't even think about it. The burgers smelled excellent, although we were too full to give them a try. Cold beer on tap, just make sure you arrive more than 30 minutes before the show to grab a beer and good seat if sitting is your thing. Would say this is a "must visit" of Dallas!

Great hotspot with live original music. Long bar with efficient servers. Authentic “dive bar”. One of the original deep Ellum bars. Maintained it’s original flavor. Have always heard about the burgers - now I know why. Literally dripping with flavor. Had SO much fun at this DALLAS staple.

Great place to grab a burger watch a game and drink cheap drinks. Service is eh at best but you came for the atmosphere more than service. Outside seating but homeless can be a pain if there not busy enough. Burgers were legendary at one time and still have a big following. Big time competition in the area though.

Went to Adair's Saloon last weekend and had a blast. Tremendous atmosphere, very nice staff and great live music. Going to come back and try the burgers as they are very highly rated in Dallas.

Love this bar. Well worth the drive to down town. They have a great Sunday brunch and 1/2 alcohol until 4 with a food order. I have to get the cheese burger. So delicious and juicy. I dripped it all over myself and didn't care. You just can't beat a good neighborhood dive.

Adair's continues to deliver one of the tastiest cheese burgers in town! Add a tasty a cold beer and live country music and you've got a great evening of fun! I've been a patron here for more than 30 years, and I look forward to another 30 as long they don't change the routine.

This place is known for its burger. Great little place in Deep Elum. Great prices on drinks. Most everything that comes out of the kitchen is prepared in house. Little Know secret: There is free parking right behind the restaurant.

I can’t say I’ve ever been to a place that calls itself a saloon. But if you were to ask me to describe one, I think the interior of Adair’s would almost perfectly fit the bill – dark, Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling, graffiti on just about every space on the walls, loud (live) country music. And to bring it into the 21st Century, a video game with guns that has you shooting at flying ducks (this seemed to be a hit with a few of the women in the bar). You seat yourself. And when you ask the bartender for a menu, he points to the board over the bar. I came to Adair’s because I was told it was among the best burgers in Dallas. I’m not an expert on that subject but the burger was super. The bun was slightly toasted on the bottom, there was a spicy mustard sauce on top and the meat not too lean and not too fatty. The fries were crisp. Both burger and fries had a slight saltiness to them – likely intended to encourage you to drink more beer. Which I did – two plastic cups of Dallas Blonde, a local beer that had a nice citrus flavor to it. I went to Adair’s for the burger. And I’d go back there for it, too. But an equally big reason to go back would be to do the saloon experience all over again.

We pop into Adair's at least once a week. They have live music starting at 7:30 most nights, and live music every night - sometimes it's just later than we wish to stay out. The food menu is limited and it's all awesome. Sourced from local markets. The BLT is my all time fav...the 'burgers and the wings run a close 2nd. The bartenders are great - they know what we drink (sad, but true) and they run a tight ship. It's a great place to people watch and catch some really great unknown music acts. It's one of our favorite hangouts. I brought 20 of my work buddies from out of town - I made reservations and came early evening, and it was well organzied. They all ordered food, listened to the music and played shuffleboard. I picked up "instant coolness" for my hangout.

If dive bars are your thing the this is your Mecca. They have cheap beer, in cold cans. Karaoke is run by what I would assume are the original founders of the building. The bathrooms are enough to make you want to pee outside. Stay away from the $1.50 Lonestar beer, it will come back to haunt you.

just made my first trip to Adair's. Stopped in late and had one of the best and biggest burgers on the planet. Prices are good. Guitar player was good. Service at the bar was excellent. A dive bar I will return to whenever I can.

The night I went with my wife a Grammy award winner was playing solo guitar and we got a selfie with her. Cheap drinks and great atmosphere. Easy to get to on the bus. The burgers were absolutely phenomenal. Really! And I am not a burger kind of guy...

Good local bar with quick service and reasonably priced drinks. Had a couple of beers before heading to another event.

Cold beer, killer food, and good times. Need I say more? Also, note... Affordable. Can have a good time without checking your bank balance after buying a round of drinks 😊

Most of my experiences with Adair's have come between the hours of 12-2am, therefore I do not have a lot to say about the food severed here. I have heard good things, but if you are on a beer diet then this is the place for you.

Just a small bar we headed to for drinks in Deep Ellum. Quick bar service, casual crowd and great live music. It was awesome hearing live country and rock music in Texas and this little place meant we were dancing around with the locals. The place is not pretentious, the drinks were a good price, the burgers there were recommended to us by our host, though we chose to eat across the road. Lots of couples dancing, but also good place to go as a group of friends. Really enjoyed our night there!

Good ambiance, good drinks and great live music. I loved their burgers and grilled chicken sandwiches and always recommended it for them. Today I picked up one of each and the burger order was wrong, and my personal favorite the chicken, was overly burnt, dry, salty and rubbery. It's a first, but they weren't even busy. (11:30am) Perhaps they have the best cooks in the night shift? Or they have a new one? I would recommend it as a bar, but I'm a little disappointed with the food today.

Gotta love an old beer joint. Tater tots were the bomb and ice cold beer. Waitress was so nice and patient with the 4 of us.

Bring a sharpie marker...names are written on every wall and even the ceiling. They serve food but we were waiting to eat at Cane Rosso next door. We came here to have a few drinks and listen to the band while we waited for a table.

I love this place. Been going here since 2001. Can't beat vibe, unless you go to Austin. You might even meet a celebrity. I met Ana Paquin here last year. She was in town to shoot a pilot that never made it to TV.

Small, but cool county and rock themed saloon with live music most nights. Very friendly atmosphere and burgers and fries are just great! A bit of a rough outlook, but don't let it scare you away!

This place is a saloon country bar for sure - but it was awesome. We went early for dinner because we were told the burgers were amazing and they did not disappoint. I also had the chicken burger which is marinated in an italian dressing so it was delicious. The best was our server, she was so great!! That alone we would probably go back. She was waiting tables, attending bar and we would never have know because she made us a priority! We shared fries, tater tots and onion rings - nothing special but a combination of everything made them excellent. If you don't have anything to talk about you can look around and keep plenty of conversation with all the stuff on the walls!! I'm sure if we stayed we could have danced as a live band was setting up and the crowd was coming in for that. A for sure stop when in Dallas!

I was let looking for the American dive bar experience and I got it! They have live music every night, serve a great burger and have a shuffle board! You can even write on everything there just bring a marker pen! Tables only seat up to Max 5 apart from one which can seat 7 so its more for small groups. What you want here is the no mess burger which you can also have as a cheeseburger and with extra bacon. Apart from that they offer a grilled cheeseburger for the vegetarians in the group :-).

My wife and I came here for a Friday night end-of-the-week unwind. We got what we came for! We were quite pleased with our food. I had a great cheeseburger that was nice and thick. My wife had a very tasty order of wings. Both entrees were complemented with wonderful krinkle french fries. Delicious! We left completely full and happy. Just wish the owner, Joel, was there.

Nice little bar. The hamburgers are awesome, nice atmosphere. Ofcourse we went during the day. Apparently you can write on the walls.

Funky dive bar. Lots of unpretentious black. And decals. Big greasy burgers. 25 years ago we used to go here and make spitballs from pieces of the paper napkins and beer and try to get them to stick to the ceiling. (Deep Ellum behavior version of Foxy's in the British Virgin Islands). Had not been here in 25 years and just happened to be going to a new restaurant next door. Much to my surprise, there was Adairs in all its former "glory". A perfect time warp. If nostalgia is your thing, this is the place.

I was in Deep Ellem on a Monday night, and this was one of a very few places that had live music. The music was good, there was NCAA basketball on the TV behind the bar, OK food, OK beer selection.

I have been going to Adair's for years and will keep going back. I love how it is laid back nothing fancy and they always have great live music.

It doesn't look like much, but once the music starts playing and you get your perfect drinks you start loving this place! Great country music, crazy staff, friendly atmosphere and unconventional interior design ;) You'll love it! Oh, and don't forget to ask for permanent markers to leave your mark on... well, wherever you wish!

Came with a friend on a Saturday. Place was pretty full but not jam packed. Drinks moderately priced. Decor very CBGBesque gave it a used feel but in a good way. Band was outstanding. Great historic honky tonk.

Cool old school band on Thursday night playing country any 40 year old plus would love. Great looking food. I wish I had skipped eating earlier so I could have enjoyed some of it. Beer is a bit steep at 7 bucks a pop. I bought a case earlier for what I paid for 4 beers inside. I will go back. Twang train was great.

We had done some research before our trip to Dallas and had read that Adair's has some good music... we aren't big on the bar scene, but thought we'd give it a try. We had a terrible time trying to find the place, GPS took us right there, but they don't have a sign on the outside. We went by address and walked in. Remember your change, parking meters are the only option. The inside had graffiti all over and there weren't too many booths/seats/tables. We ordered drinks and popcorn, which was microwave... strange, but good enough. The first live music set started, it was ok. We sat through the second group, which was better. We aren't typical bar scene people so opted to not go back a second night, but it was neat to experience.

Well what a great Saturday afternoon at Adair's Saloon! We definitely got “schooled” on the history and the bartender, Kimberly was so friendly and personable and truly engaged with her patrons and we just adored her! So many pictures and characters adorn the walls and of course I zoomed in on a photo of King George immediately! We took up the invite to try their famous burger & fries and it delivered the absolute satisfaction it was promised to be! So much nostalgia and Character & Charm! Cold beer and old school jukebox! Love this place!

We went here on a Wednesday night so it was a little quiet but they have live country music most nights (very good). Staff were friendly and the food was good although even the mild wings were HOT, I think this place would be great when it was busy.

We went to Adair's for a pre-dinner drink and it's a pretty cool, biker bar kind of place. We ordered queso and it wasn't very good but the atmosphere was cool and the drinks were alright.

After dinner we dropped into this bar on our way back to our hotel, there was an awesome country rock band playing and the place was swinging. We’re from Australia so there’s not a huge amount of these small college town live music bars here so it was really a fun night. There were a lot of young guys and girls dancing and drinking and they were really friendly to us couple of oldies.

Live music often adds to the overall experience, but music or not, Adair's has one of the best burgers in Big D. Made to order, thick patties atop fresh-baked buns combine to make a mouth-watering sandwich that can't be beat. Ask for the toppings you like best, and they'll be fresh every time. Yum!

This is a wonderful establishment in the Deep Ellum section of Dallas. It is a very convenient stop when you are in the downtown area. The hamburger and fries that I had was excellent! Talk about a big, juicy burger! Be prepared to "open wide" after you put your hands on this burger. The service was great and the atmosphere is wonderful. Big kudos to the owner, Joel, for creating a nice place to enjoy an evening with friends.

Hanging out with a friend one night and we stumbled upon Adair's. There was live music playing and the place was packed. My friend was all about watching the game on tv in the back past the bar. It was standing room only. He got us drinks from the bar. Basic beer and wine, and they will make some cocktails. I was on heels so fortunately a lady near where I was standing invited us to sit with her and 2 friends, which made the night a little more enjoyable. After a couple of drinks, any situation looks better..... My advice, wear comfortable shoes because you're probably gonna have to stand, keep your drink order simple, have cash for parking across the street. I can't say that I wouldn't go back, if the right situation occurred.

I went there once, the whole place was covered in a layer of grime and was a little smelly, the bartender was rude, the drinks were weak and the guy playing the guitare was mediocre. Granted, I think it may have been a weekday.
Cool place good food
I have been to Adair’s many times and always like it. I enjoy going in the day to get a burger. At night they have good music every night and pretty cool folks. The beer selection is pretty weak.
