Simple decor, nice menu, a little pricey, but still the best kosher meat restaurant in Dallas. Excellent onion rings. Generous portions, friendly service. Recommended.

Our second night in Dallas, meeting up with old friends, great place to get together. very warm atmosphere. Great service. Great food. Nice size portions and a good deal. Most certainly would recommend.

Aderet is our favorite restaurant in Dallas, TX. Shlomo is the best server ever. He is always attentive to our daughters’ needs and requests. The food is excellent. The new updated menu is awesome. My favorite dish is chicken schnitzel. Other dishes are yummy as well. The restaurant is always clean and welcoming.

In my business I occasionally have visitors who are orthodox and keep kosher. When they travel they tend to bring food because it is hard to find true kosher restaurants, even in Dallas which has a historic and vibrant Jewish community. Adaret is a nice break for them as it is true kosher with a nice variety of dishes. This is a very simple place but the food is fresh and tasty. The menu emphasizes your typical dishes of the Middle East but also has burgers, pad Thai, some Italian pastas, and sandwiches. Specials are on the board and might be a Moroccan lamb tagine or felafel. I usually get the kabob plate, which are nicely seasoned grilled ground meat portions, which at lunch will come with a tasty homemade soup and two sides like excellent fries and a fresh Israeli salad of tomatoes and cukes. The burger is very good, the pits sandwiches excellent. The onion rings are some of the best in Dallas, with huge onions and a crispy batter.

The food is good but the service is not the same as when Shlomo was the head of staff. There is no more enthusiasm and the new staff do the minimum. I hope the owner will step it up a notch as it is one of my favorite Kosher restaurants in the area.

Excellent. Classic middle eastern restaurant. Great Israeli food. I had the arroyo (pita grilled with beef in it) Yum!!!!

Took the family out Sunday evening for dinner. When the waiter brought a plate with a giant hamburger, a huge amount of fries, and salad to my 12-yr old daughter, she couldn't believe that it was all just for her! My wife had the Thai Chicken & Rice and I had the Grilled Marinated Chcken Breast. The portions are large, the wait staff was friendly and the place was packed. Prices are very reasonable. The hamburger with all the sides was $10, and I think that the Thai chicken was $12 and the Chicken breast was $13. The food is very good and the portions are very generous. Aderet also serves fish, steak, kabobs, soup, and Israeli salads There are also a number of Israeli appetizers, i.e. Hummus,Moroccan Cigars, etc. The restaurant is kosher supervised by Dallas Kosher (Vaad HaKashrus of Dallas).

The food at Aderet is attractively presented, primarily varied meat dishes. We went for lunch and one of us tried their new Pad Thai dish--very yummy. The other of us tried the grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce lunch plate. Also, delicious. Go for business or with the family, this kosher restaurant, though smallish, is a reliable winner. Go hungry; the portions are huge.

My husband and I loved the food. During our visit to Dallas we tried the kabob, fajita, hamburger, shawarma and lamb EVERYTHING was delicious, tasty and the portions were large. Aside from the fact the price was right. Both waiter and waitress that took our order were very friendly and helpful in the "what to see around town" area...we thanked the cook for preparing such tasty food. Thank you Dallas for having a kosher restaurant like Aderet.

Nice place with good restaurant. Customer service is very good. Well season and good portion and prices. After arriving in DFW, the placen was perfect.

I had chicken fajitas that were excellent and my wife had Thai Chicken that was also very good. Portions were generous and prices were moderate. They also serve hamburgers, schnitzel, steak, Israeli salads, great onion rings, pita bread, hummus, couscous, et al. The service is cordial and the atmosphere is okay. The restaurant is located near the South Eruv and is under the supervision of the Vaad Hakashrus of Dallas (DK).

Excellent authentic Israeli cuisine ... I think .... I am not Israeli but loved the food And the service was impeccable Definitely worth a try!!!

After two weeks abroad i was finally delighted to eat food that is not israeli wannabe but the real deal. Food was tastey service was great and fast. Dont miss it on your dallas visit!

The restaurant is small and the service is good. The food is top notch. The lamb chops are huge, the pasta is flavorful and the mashed potatoes are the best around.

Try and check out kosher restaurants, where ever we travel in the world. Was in Texas home of ranches, and chelleshing for a piece of meat. So chose to try Aderet...........It was not a mistake, it was divine, friendly and delicious, and also at a very delicate time in our history, July 2014, Operation Defense Lead, so lovely to be with people who cared. The best cigars I have eaten, and I travel to Israel loads, crisp and full of meat, and a large portion for a starter. Followed by Lamb Chops, AMAZING. My man had schnitzel to start , followed by steak, we had no room for dessert. It was amazing, lovely people served us and a good price. The biggest problem there was actually getting there, we chose not to drive in Dallas, and as usual the cabbies, couldn't speak English that well, and never knew where anything was, surprising , as even if I gave a postal code, they didn't have or bother to use Sat Nav!!! So he dropped us, on the wrong side of the freeway, and we had to walk a bit to find it. The restaurant is in a corner of like a mini retail park, and we only knew that cos we bumped into someone that knew of the restaurant. In terms of Dallas the restaurant it's small and cosy. Highly recommend, and well worth the visit.

good variety. lamb chops are great. thai chicken and burgers are tasty. the soups are wonderful small venue

Great salmon, appetizers, and hamburgers! We enjoyed the onion rings, cigars, and pita with hummus! Salmon filet is yummy!

Aderet is a consistently reliable cafe/restaurant that serves attractive, tasty food that happens to also be kosher. Service is always with a smile and not-overbearing. Portions are large; prices reasonable. Lunch and dinner are often busy for their relatively small square footage, so you may want to call ahead to confirm a table. A friendly place.

Went there for dinner night I arrived and then again for lunch the next day. It's a kosher restaurant and the food is terrific. Had the Kabobs for dinner and schwarma and baby chicken for lunch with Israeli salad. Everything was excellent esp. the Kabobs. The gal who served me both times was very eager to please and worked quickly. This is not an upscale place, but it's clean and comfortable and the bathroom is clean [big plus in my book]. Prices are mid range. I didn't make a reservation either time and had no problem finding a seat.

I visited Aderet on a Friday at lunch time and I was pleasantly surpised. Aderet is a small restaurant in a strip mall, but once you go in, you see how charming it is. I ordered a grilled chicken pita sandwich with salad. The chicken was so good, ad the hummus tasted homemade. They also do catering and Shabbos meals-- which I will definitely consider in the future.

This was our second experience at this restaurant. The kebobs and grilled chicken are really excellent. However, other types of food like the Thai chicken and a meat dish we had last time were edible but were not particularly good. I guess it is best to stick to Israeli style food in an Israeli restaurant and you should not go wrong. The service was terrible. When we walked in the place was empty except for one table of two, that had already ordered. The waitress took our order quickly but we were served our food almost AN HOUR later. They actually first served several tables who came in and ordered after us. The waitress was very friendly and really working hard but the place is very understaffed for dinner type. Later one other fella showed up but for much of the time there was ONLY the waitress, taking orders, serving food, manning takeout and the cashier station, answering phones and cleaning the tables. She was darting to and fro and mixups are inevitable when a place is this understaffed. You can't have one employee manage a full restaurant It is a small place and perhaps slow during the day but at dinner time the owner should make sure the guests are serviced. They did give us humous on the table on the house, as a makeup, but it was not worth the near hour wasted.

Space is limited and while the service is mediocre, it is by far the best Kosher Meat restaurant in Dallas.

Service was terrible. A woman who was waitering us was extremely rude. Ordered curry chicken, it didn't even have a smell of curry. Space was very limited. We had a small company, and even though several tables were stacked together, space still was extremely tight. Never coming back.

This strip mall cafe just happens to serve amazing chicken schnitzel, delicious falafel, and a variety of fresh salads.

Aderet is my go to place for food when staying near the Galleria in Dallas Texas. I have eaten in the restaurant, ordered and picked up takeout from there, and ordered through Postmates food delivery service. Every meal has been carefully prepared and delicious. While the venue is small and basic the quality of the food makes up for it. Highly recommend.

We started off with a plate of Hummus and falafel which was a generous tasty starter. Following this I had the beef fajita which was delicious and my companion had the pad Thai which he thoroughly enjoyed. It was a yummy meal with friendly and helpful staff Highly recommended

Awesome kosher eatery, excellent meat dishes, prompt service. A bit hard to find, but well worth the effort.

Staff were really nice, but the food was, as my kids would say, "meh." Some dishes were really good (like the onion rings and the warm pita bread), but my fish was too dry, the tahini too thin, and the salad too basic - nothing special. I'm sure some of the dishes there are really good. I was just not overly impressed.

Israeli food place. They had some Thai options that I didn’t try. The Israeli food was good. Fast service. Great place for a meal. Not fancy.

Visited Dallas for a conference and came here to eat dinner. My son had the Johnny steak and it was delicious. I had the Salmon and it was grilled to perfection. I would definitely come here again on a future visit. Very good service. Tasty Israeli cuisine.

Great kosher restaurant in Dallas.Great location.Nice staff and fast service.Generous delicious portions. We had salomon, beef and spagetthi bolognese.Would love to go back

Kosher in the hinterland can be of dubious quantity, quality and price. Aderet is beset by none of these issues. Enjoyed the schnitzel.

This place is NOT the place to go if you want fancy food. But it does serve perfectly cooked fresh food that is absolutely delicious. Not one dish disappointed. The onion rings were probaby the best we'd ever had, likewise the tempura eggplant and the richly flavoured lentil soup. Service with a smile and fantastic value (for a koshe meat restaurant) just added to the experience. Warmly recommended.

For a kosher restuarant this place is excellent. We found the staff to be very friendly and the food to be delicious. We have eaten here many times and have even used the take-outs a few times. Love it!
Excellent Mediterranean Food
Happened to be in the area and stopped by based on the reviews. Located at the end of a strip mall, this place features tables and chairs for seating of about 25. Food can be eaten inside or for take out. Food is Kosher and everything is individually made to order and not pre-made and then heated up. Pea soup was home made and delicious, as was the chicken schnitzel---was enough to feed 2 people. If in the area this is a great place to eat! Interior is nicely decorated with an art mural of the Western Wall--such nice detail! Parking is free via the strip mall shopping center.
