Excellent service, food and atmosphere. All staff are friendly, courteous and provided excellent customer service. Our waiter (Arnold) was top notch.

Food was excellent - the fried green tomato's a must. Waiter was a bit harried and gave wrong information about the dishes on the menu, but otherwise okay. Lovely patio but loud music from across the street discouraged us from eating outside.

If this is a representation of a good steak house in Atlanta I want to go home. The steak was small, no flavor, comes out looking like small burnt rock on a big white plate. The seafood pasta dish....what the heck happened hear?! A over cooked small half lobster that was most likely cooked 2 hours ago. You couldn’t get the meat out if the shell. The seafood had a potent smell of fish to it to the point I didn’t trust eating it. There’s several managers walking around but no one really noticing what is rolling out of the kitchen or what is getting consumed or not. I would pass on this place for rizzle my shizzle

We were looking for a quality lunner-arrived at 2pm didn't know they were supposed to close at 230-they still welcomed us in-fantastic meal on balcony overlooking peach st-never felt rushed-even though we didn't leave til almost 4pm-excellent meal-highly recommend...the only pic I got was of the fried green tomatoes/View and then I became too involved in eating the delicious food and we highly enjoyed our meal and service

From the hostesses to the wait staff, everyone was consummately polite and professional. It was my last day in Atlanta, and decided to try this restaurant. Impeccable decor, and relaxing atmosphere. I was not staying at the attached hotel, but they took my name, and adressed me by name throughout. The service was exceptional, Arnoud did a fantastic job, as well as the other waiter. I only ordered an entree and side, yet I was served with amazing chive/cheese biscuits and a sea crab cream sherry-infused soup that was divine. I've never even had crab before, and it isn't something I'd order. The steak was cooked to perfection and served with a wine sauce on the side and a few shishito peppers that were the perfect complement cut in little pieces and not too spicy. The side baked potato with bacon and cheese was a wonderful texture and taste. Thank you to the chef, and the waiter Arnoud, both are cedits to your profession.

Take the time to eat here! The food is delicious, I had the dungeoness crab soup..decadent! The lamp was cooked to perfection and the kale was divine. It has a great atmosphere, a mix of Ritz hotel guests, and business associates meeting for a bite or drinks. Not loud, but not eerily quiet either. Highly recommend!

It was my birthday...but the only person that said Happy Birthday was the hostess (who was very pretty, btw). Service was fair...Pellegrino was room temperature, no ice. Asked for butter...never received. The salad and steak was really good. Service was slow.

Food is good but not the best in Atlanta (neither is it best value for money) Waited 20 mins before being asked if I wanted water & drinks. Food came really quick. Drinks were slowwwww. Service was very very very bad - but not for everyone. Restaurant manager kept coming up to table opposite of me and was checking everything was fine, my table & the lady beside me just got ignored. Don't know why. Waiters were pretty slow. Restaurant wasn't very crowded on Thursday night. Cutlery wasn't given with food. By the time I got cutlery food was cold. Try it, but be prepared to be disappointed & pay premium for OK food.

I was not impressed for a bar that was associated with a Ritz Carlton. It took quite a while to get someone to even acknowledge us. He thought the other waiter had our table. There were very few people even in the bar on a Friday afternoon. We ordered a charcuterie board which had nice berries, meats, and cheeses plus some nice crackers. Drinks were about $20 which was a bit high for the size. The view is nice up there but it's loud because it's on a very busy street.

went here with business colleagues. very nice dinner, great food. always a nice place to have dinner when in Atlanta. right across from the mart which makes it convenient. really good food. will be back

Birthday dinner with my wife. Her octopus appetizer looked very nice, maybe could have used a little more octopus, I had steak tartare, looked very nice but was far too sweet for my enjoyment and provided this feedback. We both had filets, steaks perfect, sides, so-so. Coffee and dessert excellent.

We had dinner at AG when we were in Atlanta. The food was amazing, the staff excellent and the waiter really had an eye for winepairing. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful experience. My wife thought her 4 oz. filet perfect; my ribeye was prepared just as I asked. We shared the she-crab soup and it was wonderful. Our service was somewhat slow, and tedious-but: Eddie, the Manager, more than made up for the service. Our meal was, simply, outstanding! We shared Apple Cobbler-also perfect. This is NOT a budget restaurant-$180 for both of us. Bottom line: an OUTSTANDING meal in lush surroundings. We will go back-soon.

My husband and I stay at the Ritz Carlton whenever in Atlanta and love this restaurant in the property. Comfy elegant dining area and nice outdoor balcony area to enjoy an evening Georgia breeze. Enjoy their creamless tomato soup, she crab soup for starters. The lobster ravioli was plump and loaded with the tasty seafood. Previously we had their steak dishes and have to say...they were both tender and not dry. A great wine list too! The best part? The little mini biscuits to start off our meal. We will be back!

The food was great, the balcony was beautiful, but our waiter made the night. He recommended the Dover Sole then deboned it at the table it was delicious. It was my wife’s birthday he got an amazing peach dessert for her. I recommend checking out the AG if you are in Downtown ATL ask for Arnold.

At the AG we had lunch appetizers, cocktails, desert. Casual but upscale environment, well made cocktails, professional service. Thank you.

Really enjoyed dinner at this restaurant. Staff could not have been nicer. Food and Drinks were fantastic. Really enjoyed the bartender's special drink of the evening.

My husband and I and two of our friends had dinner here on Sunday evening; it was fantastic. The fried green tomatoes were delicious, the scallops cooked perfectly, and the peach cobbler was amazing. My husband had the bone in ribeye and said it was perfect; didn't need the sauce. Even better than the food was the service. Our server, Danielle, was knowledgeable of the menu, helpful in making decisions, and very attentive. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Delicious steaks and even better side dishes, though not the best truffle fries. Not worth the calories there. Icy cold martinis. Delightful staff. Great business meal.

Incredible food! The service was flawless, the food was incredible. The chef was sensitive to food allergies, the staff was accommodating and attentive. This remains our favorite dining experience in the Atlanta area.

Stopped over at the Ritz on the way to Thanksgiving at moms. We had the banana pudding French toast with side of bacon. Came with a brûlée topping and bananas. Very good meal. Beautiful restaurant

In town for the Peach Bowl with a desire for a new experience. I had never been to AG and thought, since it was higher rated than other steak houses, lets have a dinner there. The host was very nice. The server was also very good. The fried green tomatoes were excellent. My bone-in filet was terrific. It was perfectly cooked with great flavor. The small number of sides, their lack of size, and the fact the ones we ordered were at best, bland, was highly disappointing. For the money, when next in Atlanta, I will return to Bones or Chops for quality and quantity.

lovely dinner here. Gluten free friendly, which is a big plus. It is not fast - it took awhile for our food to arrive, so plan accordingly. Staff and server were excellent.

Fabulous food and Fabulous service. What more can you hope to find. After a small glitch at Ritz on timing, AG staff went beyon the call to accommodate in every aspect, which required them to jump thru hoops, and they provided an exceptional experience and wonderful food. Highly recommend!

Food and quality are excellent. Our guests had the TOFU scramble, oatmeal, grits, scrambled eggs on two different breakfasts. We did not choose the buffet. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast. Service is excellent and they will make substitutions if you want.

We ate here Sunday night, with a reservation, and dressed nicely, expecting it to be that kind of place. There were people dressed formal for an event I suppose, but there were also people in their in shorts. Really!?! There needs to be a dress code, and I am not as old as I sound. The food was delicious!

On paper - the menu - AG looks great. All the classic steakhouse appetizers, cuts and sides, plus a few more interesting twists. The room itself looks like a classic steakhouse; perfect lighting, good classic furniture and a premium feel. The service, though, can only be described as clueless. Three different servers visited us multiple times to ask what previous servers had already asked, and we went LONG periods without any service at all. With some very ambitious wines on their list (which is excellent), one would expect the staff to have at least a basic familiarity of wine service. I read other reviews describing the service as arrogant. We didn't get that. We just felt the staff would have been much more comfortable in a less upscale restaurant, and were in some clear need of direction and coordination. The food itself was OK; hit or miss. My steak, a petit filet, was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and had possibly the best char I've ever had. The sides, unfortunately, were sloppy and bland, and the shrimp in my appetizer were poached to the point of leather. I wouldn't go back, but AG has potential.

we had a buisness dinner there, two people, and paid more than 150 $, and we only had water... if you want to eat here, do so, it is good,... but as I said expensive. The service was very good.

What an excellent place. Set out right away were some amazing little popovers with some bits of chive and maybe tomato? They were complemented by a whipped butter – maple syrup (or something sweet) spread. Great taste on steroids. For my starter I chose the tomato soup, which was very good but the only thing that was not really that special. For the main event I tried the evening’s special, a NY strip with foie gras on top and laid in a bed of sweet potato puree. The steak was great. It had been well- aged and was tender, juicy and tasty. The side dish of creamed sweet corn was wonderful, with crisp little kernels and a buttery- tangy sauce. Together, the taste of these two dishes was magical. Philip, my server, provided great service and good advice. He recommended a local Belgian- style ale (Cadence) which was kicker! Seated outside on the verandah, I enjoyed the nice weather. There was no exposure to a later thunderstorm, even when it briefly poured down rain. It was much nicer than being in the indoors air con which was really chilly. The AG delivers on all counts: food, creativity, service, atmosphere, and value. That last one is important, because it's not about what you pay - it's about what you get for what you pay. Here, you do pay a lot and you get a whole lot more. You can choose courses that actually don't cost much more than other high- end places, but are much better. And you can choose courses that are much more expensive and simply unavailable anywhere else. Your tongue will overrule the little accountant's voice in your head if you give the food a taste. This was a special meal, and if you have a special occasion, the AG will not disappoint. If it does disappoint, you should retire to your castle and have your personal troupe of chefs do their usual. By the by, I can count three times in the last 38 years that a host / hostess has called me by name as I entered as a total stranger - this was one of them, and I was 20 minutes

We travel quite a bit and found ourselves in Atlanta for Christmas and thought it might be a good place to have Christmas dinner. Eh. I would first expect more from a steakhouse in the Ritz Carlton. The room is nice and the staff here is perfect. But the menu... are you kidding me. There is very little to choose from -- a shockingly small amount to choose from. And no - it wasn't a special menu for the holiday. Love the building, love the Ritz... would look elsewhere for dinner and a better value.

Atmosphere and divine dining at it's best.....The menu is limited but less is definitely more here. Simple yet excellent. I am obsessed with the overall ambiance, design done well. And certainly quiet enough to have a conversation without the bad acoustics of many lunch spots downtown. I have been here for dinner and it is equally awesome....

Looking for quiet elegant dinner and the idiots had stupid, repetitive music blaring, It is apparent this place caters to the staff’s desires not the customers

We had an incredible time celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary here at AG! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Our waiter, Arnold, was fantastic with a great sense of humor and delight to converse with! With a fantastic people-watching view like this, we’d come back for sure! The salmon and snapper were incredible, alongside the brussel sprouts and macaroni and cheese. 10/10 for sure!

The food was great--my husband had the ribeye with the asparagus, and I had the rabbit with fried brussels sprouts; both entrees were so well-prepared and delicious, and perfectly cooked. Our waiter, Arnoud, was wonderful. Couldn't have asked for a more attentive and discreet person. The next morning we had the breakfast buffet; extremely well-appointed and delicious. My husband has celiac disease and they were easily able to accommodate his gluten-free needs. Service was great and the whole thing was a happy experience. Well done, AG.

App of fried green tomatoes, wedge salad and filet with chimichurri and the Cotswold potato. Glad the sauce was on the side so the steak was not covered up. The wedge was ok but loved the potato. Ate outside on the balcony which was nice but loud wild people on the street were distracting. Service was excellent.

The servers were genuine and provided excellent service. My filet mignon was ordered medium rare and was absolutely perfect. My girlfriend was completely impressed with how well we were taken care of. Thank you for making this dinner a special event and night out.

I wish I could give 10 STARS instead of Only 5 .... YES Service & Food was THAT Good. We came into Atlanta on Friday for Anniversary Weekend. We Started with Dinner @ AG & Ended with Dallas vs Falcon Game(Cowboy tickets I bought months earlier for Hubby's Birthday). I had Joked when making Reservation about How I'm a Redskins Fan. AG started by seating Us in Special Private Booth, Table covered in Roses & Pedals. Husband started with Hickory Smoked Whiskey (He LOVED it) and I Enjoyed A Glass of Delicious Prosecco. Dinner was 8 oz Filets & Whipped Potatoes, Cooked to a Perfect Medium. We were giving a lot of Personal Attention during Our visit & it made Our Dinner feel so Special. They Ended Our Dinner with SUPER SPECIAL DESSERT ... Wow AG You Guys are Amazing !!!

9 people, staying at the hotel, plans made in advance. Food was not good, service was slow. My lobster came from the kitchen not fully cooked the first time and it was missing its claws. It came back hard as a rock and dry as a bone, it was taken off the bill. Party guests don't like to complain but, everyone's meat was overcooked, the vegetarian in our group did like her vegetables. We did eat breakfast there that morning and it was good.

4 of us were attending a meeting in Atlanta. Since were were staying at the Ritz, we decided to try the restaurant at the hotel. We were stunned by what we got. AG is dedicated to charging the highest price they can for the least the can provide. The difference between what one would have expected at such a venue and what one got was astonishing, especially at a Ritz Carlton. Drinks cost $ 16 to $ 20. They are just average. I am a cosmo drinker, but the Ritz had a less robust choice of fine vodkas than most of the decent restaurants in our home town. We had a waiter, who learned service at a military academy. As everything else in this venue, he gave us precisely what he had to and nothing else. The food ranged from unimaginative to shockingly sparse. I ordered a small filet, which was done to my liking; however, that poor filet was served on a huge dinner plate almost by itself. I have never seen a steak served like that at a fine restaurant. There were no decorations or garnishes, except for a sliver of a serrano pepper, which, no doubt had just finished its exhaustive and malnourished trip from Mexico to appear on my plate. One of our dinner companions ordered the duck breast, which, in her opinion, was actually burned and rock hard toast left over from the morning breakfast. The most outrageous service was the seafood pasta served to my wife. For $ 59, she got, perhaps 20 strands of flavorless pasta with a very slight application of butter, covered by a shriveled langostino in its shell, and flanked by the two halves of a small scallop that had been sliced to reduce the need to put two scallops on the plate. Of the four people at the table, only one ate his main course. Our waiter, ignored this demonstration of dissatisfaction; in fact, he could have cared less. He never asked if the meals were not acceptable, or if he could do something to make the evening better. He was sure to present us with the exorbitant bill. Until the management of this Ritz, completely revises the restaurant, avoid it, unless you think you might enjoy the same experience we had.

My wife and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton with my mom and sister while they came down from Alaska to visit my newborn daughter. While leaving the hotel to walk over to the Georgia Aquarium, we passed the AG (which is connected to the Ritz) and we all commented on how good it smelled. We decided to eat at the AG for dinner that evening. We all knew the restaurant had to be pretty good as it was attached to the Ritz Carlton. However, our dining experience was unlike anything we were expecting. I have dined at some really nice restaurants, but I have not received service at the level we did while dining at the AG. My wife and I had our first child two weeks prior, a daughter as I mentioned above. My sister also had her 15 month old son with her, so, as you can imagine, our table wasn't the quietest. However, none of the staff seemed to be off put or annoyed by our children. Rather, they seemed to have legitimately loved having our babies in the restaurant. We were fortunate to have Arnold from the Netherlands as our waiter. From the start, he was impeccable as a server. He immediately brought a small bowl of sliced grapes for my sisters son to eat while we all waited for our food. I had the T-bone steak which was a special for the evening; my mom had the seafood fettuccine; my sister had the duck; my wife had the Australian Lamb. All of the food we ordered for dinner was absolutely amazing. My steak was cooked perfectly and the seafood fettuccine was not served as one would expect. Rather than arriving in a bowl of fettuccine with chunks of seafood scattered throughout, the pasta was served on a plate with a large lobster tail cut in half in addition to other marvelous chunks of seafood. Again, all of our food was marvelous. Now, back to the service. Arnold, the entire time, was spot on. Promptly attending to our wants and needs and ensuring we were satisfied. At the end of the evening, he surprised our table with the Georgia Peach dessert specially tailored as a celebratory dessert for our newborn daughter. The round plate with the dessert peach in the middle had the words "Congratulations Saylor!" written along the outside of the plate. Additionally, at the end of the meal, Arnold presented us with a gift containing a pair of JellyCat slippers for our daughter - paid for by Arnold - and a card congratulating her on turning two weeks old signed by each of the staff members! He even paid for the Peach dessert for my daughter. All just for turning TWO WEEKS OLD! Talk about making an already great experience even more memorable. Arnold went above and beyond to make our night memorable and he did that in full. My family and I will forever remember Arnold and how kind he was to my family. If you decide to dine at the AG, which you should as the food alone is amazing, be sure to request Arnold. If you just so happen to have him as your server, be prepared to have one of the most memorable dinners of your life.

Jahid (sp?), our server was excellent. The food was excellent as well. My wife had a pastry basket. I had the American breakfast with eggs, bacon, and home fries. Again, everything was excellent.

Solid Hotel Dining. Nothing Special. Simply standard fare for lunch but a good drop down place for business lunch or to work at bar. Trout portion was ridiculously small. Order mix ups. Etc.

I have not left a restuarant in the middle of a meal in over 20 years, but the experience at AG was not positive, by any means. Just poor food execution - Order Ceasar salad, with steak - Show up late - 25 minutes (emply place) with cold steak....(Meant to be hot), in a bowl which made it impossible to cut steak.... Sent it back...then waited and waited....then just paid and left....

The food was good but the service was horrible. Had reservations for my birthday....and arrived 10 minutes prior to my reservation. Was informed by the first hostess we would be seated in 10 minutes. Was asked twice more, by two other people, for my reservation information and given different info on when we would be seated. We were finally seated about 15 minutes after our reservation. The waiter approached, about 2 minutes after we were seated, and asked if we were ready to order. We explained we have just sat down and would need a few minutes. He came back, in exactly two minutes, and again asked for the order. He never offered any info on specials or a review of the menu. Food was good...but the poor service would deter me from returning.

For $20 per person, we had a gourmet lunch. We each chose a salad, fish with potatoes, a roll, a soft drink, and the pictured tart for desert. The portions were small, but somehow we were both full after the multi course meal. Lovely atmosphere and even though this was titled "express lunch", this was a leisurely meal.

We chose AG because it’s a busy weekend in downtown Atlanta and most other steakhouses were pretty booked. The food was very very good and the service was just good. That is until our plates were clean and our water and wine glasses were empty. It was one of those “where did everybody go” moments. We were never asked if we would like dessert or coffee and after what seemed like forever, we finally flagged someone down and asked them to ask our waiter “Z” for the check. Yes downtown was busy, but AG was less than half full. My recommendation is to sit at the bar where you will not be forgotten.

Arnold was the best waiter I have ever had ! AmaZing customer service ! Great food and drinks 🍷 I will advise

Unable to get into Sweet Georgia's across the street I went into AG. The atmosphere is wonderful, and they have a balcony seating area. Patrons are dressed in jeans to suits with some of the ladies looking like the case from Housewives of Atlanta. However, the steak was only about a half inch thick and the baked potato was cold. The waiter forgot the salad. But they corrected the bill. This is an expensive place especially for the quality of the food.

My husband and I came here for breakfast while we were waiting to get checked into our room. The front desk attendant told us about this place. The breakfast was average and expensive. Our server was wonderful and attentive. We would prefer eating at a simple cafe rather than here, but since we were new in town and just flew in, we listened to the attendant recommendations.

We had an excellent dinner at AG. Great ambiance and excellent service from Arnoud. He gave excellent suggestions, offered to take some pictures of us, and very attentive. We had as well a little chat with the chef from France, very nice guy and produces excellent food.

We had dinner here while in town for the Gift Mart. The service was excellent and the food was even better. Since it was cold out we tried the She Crab soup, which was outstanding. With so many choices on the menu, we decide on the special of the house- Oso Buco. we weren't disappointed and surely would order it again. Our server Matt was great and the price was worth the experience. Give AG a try you will be happy you did

Great service, great food, great ambience! Dat was our waiter and he was incredibly professional, friendly and knew how to take care of a table. Loved it!!

The AG is part of the Ritz Carlton Atlanta. It's been redone August 2016 and it shows. Nice ambiance, and more important great food and service. I have had dinner here whilst staying at the Ritz, and on 2 occasions breakfast. Breakfast is a la carte, besides that on Saturday and Sunday they offer a buffet. Also if you are not staying at the Ritz, it's very much worth going here. Order the parfait with fruit for breakfast (it's served with apples, if you don't like apples they will change it for berries). For dinner they serve great steaks, selection of 3 types seems small, but they serve great food and that compensates for only having a choice of 3 types of steaks (less choice = less hassle I suppose)

We had "Z" as our waiter who was knowledgeable, fantastically cordial, and on-the-spot with anything we desired! The wine selection was awesome. I had their house wine which is Terra Valentino from Napa. It outshined others! I was very impressed. The servings was excellent and the right amount of food. Service from all staff was just as impressive! I will eat here again. Pricing was as expected.

I was traveling by myself on Business. I choose this restaurant as it was close to my hotel. Phillip was my server and he was great. I felt very comfortable and my meal was amazing.

We had dinner here last night before the AC/DC concert. It was the first night they were open for business after doing a complete remodel. The new restaurant has an incredible Steakhouse feel. It was the first night they were open for business after doing a complete remodel. The new restaurant has an incredible Steakhouse atmosphere. It has wood & leather all over the place and just makes you feel at home. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were a little on the small side. The less expensive ribeye (not the tomahawk) is fantastic. They had some of the best mushrooms we have ever enjoyed. Just a really great sauce and a really great variety of mushrooms. I was a little surprised not to see creamed spinach on the menu though. Every fine steakhouse I've ever been to has at least one version of creamed spinach. They also do a pimento butter spread with some fabulous brioche to start with. It was out of this world. I will definitely eat here again.

Title says it all. Business lunch prompt service and good food. Special was excellent. Ambience of room great for business discussion. My to go foe business lunch spot in atlanta.

We had a fantastic experience here for dinner last night! We live in Atlanta & decided to do something different for my husband’s birthday. The service was phenomenal, from the valet guys to the hostess, to our server Tom. This will definitely be our new “treat yourself” spot close to home.

Great food with good service. This is newly remodeled. Loved the mac and cheese and creamed kale. The filet was excellent. Enjoyed dinner.

I am a picky eater... vegan, too. And this place - a steak house - would not normally be my first choice. But I was there this week... and they prepared a wonderful barbecue tofu dish on greens that was really special. They went out of their way to accommodate me...and make sure I was happy. They really did a nice job with presentation, food quality, preparation, and service. Definitely recommended.

We actually had reservations elsewhere but due to timing couldn't make it and switched to AG and are glad we did. The food (red snapper for us both) was excellent, the bourbon list extensive, the service well done and professional and the appetizer of shrimp and mussels was heavenly.

For a hotel restaurant, the AG is good. However, I wouldn't choose to eat here if I was not staying at the Ritz. The atmosphere (comfortable, modern, newly renovated) is nice, and we love the balcony seating when the weather permits. The service is great, and the food is good, but it (food) could be better. Some of the pairings were strange to me- for example, scallops served on a large serving of white beans. The scallops were good, but didn't want the beans. We had the she crab soup and it was good, but it wasn't very warm. My husband had the lamb and said it was good. Like I said, the food was good, but could easily be so much better. The renovated dining areas are really neat, especially, the themed private dining rooms.

Dining at AG in the Ritz is a great experience. The tableside Dover Sole was absolutely perfectly prepared and delicious. The salads were well done and all the sides were spot on.

Now this is a steak house. Perfectly done steak, and amazing flavors. It's not cheap, but is a fabulous place for a nice quiet dinner.

I was in town briefly and stayed at the Ritz so AG was a convenient option. Atmosphere is beautiful. Jennifer greeted me and walked me to the table. She was so lovely and spent a little time chatting with me. I had a meal of soup and salad with grilled salmon which was very good. Arnoud was my server and was very attentive and professional. He made some good suggestions for steaks but I wanted something a little lighter. After the meal I ordered a tea to go an spilled it. Arnoud and the assistant couldn't have been more gracious cleaning it and getting me a new one.

My husband and I dined here for a Wednesday evening date night. The restaurant was pretty busy and despite having reservations we had to wait 22 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated we were greeted by our polite...but overly busy waiter (he had at least 7 tables). The bread service is wonderful...but everything else was just average. We ordered the Blue Hill Mussels, The Original from 1999 salad, the Cowboy Steak and The Lobster Baked Potato. It was Average food and overpriced for the quality.

Had Saturday night dinner here looking for a great steak and was not disappointed. Steaks are smaller here than at the chain steakhouses (a large filet is 8 oz) but perfectly prepared and accompanied by amazing sauces. Michael, our waiter, was attentive and knowledgeable. My reason for choosing this restaurant, however, was I saw baked alaska on the desert menu. Very rare on a restaurant menu. Michael warned us it was a large dessert designed for a table of four to six. True, very large ( like a whole layer cake) but amazing. Every layer - chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream, raspberry sorbet - topped with meringue, Then torched with rum. The torch could have been a bit more elegant - this looked like a plumbing torch from a home improvement store. I was surprised the restaurant had very few customers for a Saturday night and was very disappointed by the booth the host chose for us. Our table formed a passage with a large post that was apparently the shortest distance to the till and wait station. The entire evening wait staff were excusing themselves as they squeezed between the table and post. Some guests got lost and squeezed in the passage as well. Very irritating and not what I'd expect at a Ritz Carlton restaurant. This booth should be removed.

Very happy to have had lunch at this great restaurant at The Ritz. First, great location on the Peachtree area. Great decor and outstanding service by Mertilyn. The cream of crab excellent: one of the best I’ve have had (& I’m a Maryland crab meat lover). The crab cakes, scallops also delicious and the Dark chocolate lava dessert was absolutely marvelous. My only suggestion would be to add a small side dish to the main course: ie some crackers to the crab cream, some potatoes or something to the other plates. Highly recommend this place.

During my stay on a business trip I was at the AG restaurant on 3 separate occasions. The service was excellent and the food was great. On my second visit the staff all new me by name. When your are stressed on a business trip that is a nice perk to have.

We visited AG for lunch, while attending a conference. We were so incredibly impressed by the service that was provided by Vangel. He was thorough, friendly, polite and so helpful. The pride he has in his work truly shines. He made our lunch so very special, and had we been staying in town longer, we would have returned to AG for another meal.

We had dinner here on July 1. We found our server a bit abrupt at first, but thankfully, they warmed up and ended up being very chatty, attentive and helpful. The hostesses were very lovely and helpful also. Typical steakhouse décor here. The restaurant is attached to the Ritz Carlton, where we were staying. And now for the food. We started with the Fried Green Tomato appetizer which was fairly good. We had 2 vegetarian eaters in our party, so it’s important to mention that the only options on the menu were the fried green tomatoes and a main entrée listed as “barbeque tofu”. The “barbeque tofu” was a joke of a dish, consisting of a tasteless rectangular chunk of tofu with zero seasoning and zero barbeque sauce, sitting on some sort of broth and garnished with popcorn (yes, I said popcorn). I ordered the saint Jacques scallops. I received a plate of mushy risotto topped with 6 overcooked, rubbery scallops. I mention this to our server and he was quick to replace the dish, and 10 minutes later, I received a new dish with somewhat properly cooked scallops. Naturally, we all passed on dessert. Our server was wonderful, but the food here needs fine tuning.

Awesome experience with delicious food and drinks. Service was best we had in Atlanta and the value - although expensive - was justified. Highly recommended. In the Ritz Carlton with beautiful ambiance and friendly people. Wine list is very good with a wide range of prices. Caesar salad with unique and tasty and all the steaks we had were perfectly cooked.

Lovely restaurant with outside seating overlooking Peachtree St. Not inexpensive but well worth the price. Great steak and wine list. Arnold the server did a great job. Would recommend a nice dinner here.

This place is amazing! Hands down the best food ever. From the appetizers to the desert, it is all perfection! They made the Atlanta peach desert with my national country of Cuba. Will absolutely be back! The AG is Atlanta’s Greatest because of you're amazing waiter Arnold. Thanks for a great dinning experience as we were celebrating a girls night out. Way to go to AG which means “Arnold’s Grill”.

truly outstanding restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton in downtown Atlanta. Very nice menu and outstanding service. steaks were done just right. fish was also cooked to perfection. very nice wine list and any cocktail you can imagine. highly recommend

Walked across the street from The Westin and had a delicious meal. Old school atmosphere, very good service! Unforutnately the outside balcony was closed that evening and it would be a superb place for a meal!

I enjoyed dining here for breakfast both mornings during my recent stay at the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta. The food, decor and service was everything you would expect from a restaurant in a 5-star hotel. I was blown away by the quality of the food. The menu made it clear that much of it was sourced from local farm-to-table providers and it was prepared exquisitely. Highly recommend!

I was very disappointed of the Ritz Carlton for allowing such poor service and less then adequate food at the AG steakhouse. I guess it’s our fault for feeling it shouldn’t make a difference to go to the restaurant for a late lunch on New Years Day. But, it was We sat at the empty bar for at least 5 minutes before anyone ever showed up. We asked for menu’s and received their brunch menu and were told the buffet was the best choice that there were fantastic choices and the cost was only $48.00 per person We decided to take a look. The buffet did have quite a few choices but nothing I would consider eating. Everything was just sitting there for hours. No one replenished or even stirred the selections. We were totally turned off Upon returning to the bar again no service. We decided to find another place for lunch and also canceled our dinner reservation for later that evening. Shame on management of this facility to allow such a horrible experience

I was in Atlanta for business and dined here one night alone. I was treated very well and not charged for a vegetable that I hated ( Brussel Sprouts ). My steak was pretty good but not what I expected from a Ritz restaurant.

I recently ate dinner at AG while staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta. We were planning to eat there after a long drive, and the front desk gave us a coupon for a discount (maybe 10 or 15%) off of our meal, so that little perk was appreciated. Dinner in the restaurant was average. The hostess was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our server was polite, but wasn’t always around when we needed. The bar seemed to be the central feature of the entire front room, but I think separate dining rooms were available in the back. I would recommend this restaurant if you have time to sit and enjoy the pace of the service. The price was typical of a restaurant in The Ritz-Carlton—possibly even a little higher than average.

I'm staying at the Ritz Carlton in Atlanta. After 2 late nights, I opted to dine at the hotel at AG. I dined solo. While being seating, the hostess offered me a magazine to read. In 30 years of travel, no other restaurant has made this gesture. It's smart and thoughtful. Warm bread was brought to the table with pimento cheese butter. Wow. Absolutely delicious. Made in house from local ingredients, it's great. I began dinner with fried green tomatoes. They were fabulous. I've never had fried green tomatoes before so I have nothing to compare to. Sliced thin, the coating was spicy with a touch of heat. They were served with a dip along the lines of a ranch dip. I had a small 4 ounce filet for dinner. The perfect size and cooked as requested. The only issue was that it was served too quickly. It arrived shortly after the fried green tomatoes. I had only eaten 2 slices when my steak was served. The general manager came to my table twice. On his second visit I mentioned that my entree came too quickly. He was polite, gracious and spoke to me again when I left. I did not feel pressured to eat quickly. It did not seem to me that other diners had this same experience. So, it may have simply been a one-time mistake. Otherwise, I enjoyed the mean and the service. If you are in Atlanta, definitely try AG.

Our server ,India, was so awesome!!! Great place to catch games and have good food and drinks. The manager was so nice and personable we went back the next 2 nights. We were staying at the Westin so it was extremely convenient.

A complete joy to be served by Arnold. He explained to us that the AG restaurant used to be the Atlanta Grill, but AG now conveniently stands for 'ARNOLD'S GRILL' HA!!! I told him it was a pleasure to be served by the owner of the restaurant!! Every aspect of our dining experience was top-notch, from our phone conversation with Jennifer, letting us know that our valet parking would be taking care of, the parking staff were great, again Jennifer was pleasant and greeted us warmly, and of course Sir Arnold treated us as if we were the only customers in the building. The food was absolutely amazing! A great Mother's Day experience indeed!

Was brought to this steakhouse by friends and we had a great celebration. The modern dining room was the perfect setting to enjoy a Steak Au Poirve. Definitely coming back.

My husband and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton hotel in which this restaurant is located for our anniversary. The hotel was wonderful, but when we went for breakfast the following morning at AG we noticed fruit flies all over the fruit. It was so disgusting and when I alerted my waitress she tried to fan them away with her hand. After I stated how disgusting that was she went to inform someone in the kitchen. I never saw them remove the fruit but tried to figure out how to fan the fruit and then cover it up. The fruit was already contaminated. The rest of the bar was not up to the standards of being in a restaurant at this hotel. The pimento cheese grits gave me a stomach ache and the sausage was just okay. My husband and I did not find the selections to be as large as other downtown hotels especially the Marriott Marquis. I completed a hotel review and was emailed by a manager to send the best time and phone number to contact me. I submitted the information and waited a couple weeks before I called and left a message for him. I never heard from the manager after he acted as if he wanted to discuss the awful experience at AG. I hope they have corrected their problem in two months.

One of the Best restaurants bars in town. Top RITZ CARLTON service and premium athmosphere. Good location. If you want to enjoy a drink in a quite nice place you need to visit this restaurant and Bar.

Came twice for dinner because we stayed at the Ritz Carlton hotel. Little biscuits are served cold- not warm and not good. Baked potato was not hot. One evening the steak was not cooked enough, and we sent back and they never reheated our potatoes or other food. Took 20 minutes to cook steak, and they brought it back sliced as they took it and it was dry and horrible. They did remove this from the bill, but experience was not good. I would never eat here if I had other choice. Also came for breakfast and that was not good either. Service is poor- lots of people walking around and not checking on guests sitting at tables.

Met some colleagues for dinner. Between the group we had a filet mignon, scallops and salmon. Everybody raved about how good the main courses were. Service was absolutely perfect in every way and we felt well cared for but left alone except when we needed the waiter, at which time he would magically appear. Portions could have been larger, for instance I ordered whipped potatoes and received about one cup. My colleague ordered asparagus, and received six pieces, each for $10 apiece. We sat on the upstairs balcony which was a great place to watch the city as the evening progressed. Not a place to go if you're in a hurry, but certainly a great spot to go if you want a place with atmosphere and charm and don't mind paying for it.

This was the perfect place to eat on our Anniversary. Fantastic service, fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere! Let them know if it is a special occasion and they make it even more special!

Relaxing upscale atmosphere, Great location with the outdoor terrace overlooking Peachtree. We came in late not knowing they stopped serving at 2:30, But the staff did not make us feel rushed at all. Our waiter was attentive, pleasant and informative. The food was perfectly prepared, excellent rich she-crab soup and the Pork belly BLT is a must.

Where do i start??? Ms. Jennifer was amazing! She answered my call when i had to push my red around back an hour! She also was sweet enough to wave the $50 fee for the “hide out” area which is an exclusive booth with a curtain!! Totally nice! My waiter (can’t remember his name, but told us he was Dutch) was the best! So darn attentive and knowledgeable! They allowed my husband to pic the knife he wanted to eat his lamb with! They gave us a card and spices as a pardon gift! The food was very good! I had salmon and spinach cream. My husband had lobster, lambs and Mac n cheese! It was truly the best experience I’ve ever had! Will come monthly!

It's rare to find a really great restaurant inside a hotel, but the AG is a wonderful restaurant on the second floor of the Ritz. We ate there twice while we stayed in the hotel and just loved our meals! Be sure to try the catch of the day, so fresh and delicious and the steaks are great. A waiter named Arnold took care of us for both dinners and he is just terrific, so attentive and thoughtful. Be sure to request him, he does so many extra things to make your dinner memorable!

Spent the night at the Ritz Carlton, woke up and the family went down to AG for breakfast. It was Saturday so they had a buffet ($28) or you could order menu. I opted for the buffet which was good but not worth $28 in my opinion. My wife and daughter both ordered the banana pudding French toast, best French toast ever. Pricey but good.

wanted to enjoy a good meal w/in walking distance of our hotel, this spot is directly across the intersection. this spot looked nice with outdoor dining above/one level up from the sidewalk...great downtown experience, walk-in seating was immediate thanks to a light dinner crowd at the moment. My steak was delivered exactly at the requested temp/texture. Service was good, but they may assume billing to a hotel room upstairs, so walk-ins may want to let them know so your check-out and departure can be much quicker than ours.

Great dining experience for a special night out. The steak was one of the best steaks we have had. The service was top notch as well. Highly recommend.

The cocktails here are wonderful !! My wife and I shared a ribeye. I have to say it was not the best by any means. It was cooked great and had a good flavor but the quality of meat was poor. The salads and cocktails were awesome thank goodness. The service also lacked. I do not remember the waiters name but once he realized we were sharing he lost interest in our table. This has happened to me in other restaurants as well. I always tip double when we share so he lost out on his part. Had breakfast there as well and it was very good. The service was much better this time.

An Unforgettable 70th Birthday Celebration at The AG Bar and Grill – Ritz Carlton Atlanta We recently celebrated my mother’s 70th birthday at The AG Bar and Grill inside the Ritz Carlton Atlanta, and the experience was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Our original dinner reservation was for 14 guests, but we ended up with 16—and the staff didn’t miss a beat. They graciously offered us the private dining room, which gave us a warm, intimate, and elegant setting that made the evening feel incredibly special. From the very beginning, Shalonda helped us coordinate the booking with such care and professionalism. The night of the dinner, Vanagel and his phenomenal team went above and beyond in every way. Vanagel not only guided us through the menu in detail but also made sure every special request was honored—with a genuine smile and top-tier service. The food was exceptional, the ambiance was perfect, and the staff made us feel as though we were the only guests in the entire restaurant. Their attention to detail, kindness, and commitment to making the night perfect truly stood out. I could go on and on, but simply put: if you’re looking for a place to host a memorable and meaningful celebration, look no further than AG at the Ritz. They made my mother’s 70th birthday one we will cherish forever.

It’s located on the second floor of the Ritz. Nice friendly service. Good food. Not crowded. There are a lot of choices for steakhouses so it’s hard for them. All the food i ordered was delicious and cooked right. Cocktails were good I also had breakfast there in the morning. Very good as well. Recommend Follow us. @nickellfamilytravel

I'm from Dallas and let me tell you, I know a good steak when I eat one. This by far was one of the best steaks I have ever had. I felt like a queen by the way the staff treated me. The dessert room was an absolute dream. I will certainly return to this restaruant when visiting Atlanta!

The food at AG was really very good but it is hard to justify the cost. I must say we had excellent service and nice atmosphere, but I probably wouldn't go back unless the prices were about 20% less. There are many great steakhouses in the Atlanta that I think are a better value. My medium rare NY strip was a little more towards medium, especially on the outer edges. All of the fat had been trimmed off so the overcooked outer edge made the steak a little dry. Again at this price I really expect to see a steak cooked edge to edge medium rare. Having said that we enjoyed the dining experience because of the great service!

Went for an adhoc visit and were very satisfied. It may not have been the best food or service, however all aspects of the dinning experience were very good. Service was focused, we were greeted by name, food was delicious (salad 1999 recommended) and the tomahawk was great. Wine was ok, but my favorite drink they got it very well mixed!

Loved Atlanta Grill... From the appetizers to the main course everything we tried was good. My boss said the massive steak was the best he had ever had. Our waiter, Arnou (unsure of spelling-Dutchman) was awesome! Our food took over an hour and a half to arrive but he more than made up for it. He comp’d all three of the appetizers and the salad and kept us entertained the entire meal. I’d definitely eat here again.

This evening my wife and I decided try AG. We have driven by it for years and wondered about the food. The restaurant is located on the corner of Peach tree Street and Ellis Street on the second floor. The weather was nice so we decided to sit outside. Nice view of our busy city. The waitstaff was very personable and greeted us by our name. Our waitress helped us to make the right choices. The food was phenomenal! It was absolutely better than I anticipated. We have visited several steak houses in Atlanta and this will make the list to return. It was really nice to have a meal on the balcony, seeing the sites and enjoying the meal with a perfect glass of cabernet!

I made reservations for dinner at 5:00 prior to the Taylor Swift concert at 7:00. We were seated immediately and service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and we were done in plenty of time. It is a bit expensive, but in this area comparable to other nice restaurants.

I wound up having breakfast while waiting for my room to be available. An order of pancakes was really quite bad - tasteless, mushy. The pancakes at any fastfood restaurant are much more palatable. The interior design is dark and heavy, and not really attractive for a coffee shop. If you are staying at the Ritz-Carlton and want breakfast, choose one of the diners nearby.

Within the Ritz hotel but not meeting up with the high end brand. Portion sizes modest on there starters we had. Very overpriced. Served by a rather brusk Flemish waiter who really didn’t want to be there. All in all overpriced and under value for what it cost

We ate here twice while staying at the hotel. For a restaurant associated with a Ritz Carlton, I'd expect pretty close to perfect service and food. The food was fine, and the drinks were good. But both dinners had service issues. In the first case, the server was very nice but scattered and had to be asked three times for a wine list (as an example). He recognized this, though, and made amends by removing the charge for the glass of wine. The second time, though, the server brought our check while both of us were still actively eating and cleared half the table and tried to collect the check while one of us was still finishing our food.

Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Hostess needs help. Surely the Ritz has a dress code? Hostess allowed a man in a tank top in for dining. It was disgusting to eat in front of this. Not what I would expect of a Ritz Carlton.....maybe a low end hotel with free continental breakfast. Planning on dining there in evening but don’t think we will.

Had a really good time at the AG for dinner. Had the bone marrow as an appetizer with the dry aged ribeye as main course. Both were really good and paired nicely with the bottle of cabernet recommended by our waiter Arnoud. Great food, great service would recommend. Also had breakfast there, the benedicts eggs are delightful.

We came here for drinks and appetizers before dinner. The beef carpaccio was amazing! And their choice of “curated libations“ was really unique and tasty! A classy place that we will certainly come back to!

Ate lunch here with some work colleagues this week while attending a conference in Atlanta. The restaurant is on the second floor of the Ritz-Carlton and has outdoor eating on a porch overlooking Peachtree Street which is beautiful. I had the BBQ chicken salad sandwich and a shrimp cocktail. Both were delicious, as was the peach tea. Highly recommend!

Stayed at hotel and visited for lunch. Very good hotel restaurant. She crab soup is flavorful and hearty. Brisket sandwich and AG burger are also good. They are generous with butter and calories. Toasted buttered buns on sandwiches. Duck fat potatoes are good. Not coming here for a low fat meal. They also offer salads which admittedly I was craving after the soup and sandwich but too full to get. Good food and service.

A classy, well run place for lunch. The menu is varied and impeccably presented. Wait staff is experienced and attentive. Save room for the doughnuts for dessert. An excellent conclusion for the meal.

Stayed at the Ritz Carlton and AG is located inside the hotel. Thus, it was inevitable for us to dine here for breakfast and dinner. Dinner was excellent. A gentleman from Netherlands took care of us. He was great and was attentive. We had the Tomahawk steak cooked in perfection. It came with red wine sauce which was so good along with 3 other sauces. The steak was rather small in size for the price of $135. We ordered 4 sides with overcooked grilled asparagus, creamy, delicious mashed potatoes, and delicious grilled Brussel sprouts. We also ordered lobsters with grits. It was very tasty especially the grits, however, the lobster was so salty it was almost inedible. The gentleman from Netherworlds gave us free dessert for it which was a nice gesture. Went back for breakfast and had the American breakfast for $25 which was not worth it. Michael took good care of me as well as Tobi Nguyen, AG’s manager. Michael was very attentive and personable. Food is pretty good overall especially the service. Thanks to Tobi’s managerial skills to ensure service is beyond expectations.

I am adamant about receiving great customer service when dining out. I must say, the service received at the AG restaurant of the Ritz Carlton has topped all of my dining experiences. I have traveled the world and eaten at some of the top steakhouses but the treatment from their staff and the food quality was beyond my expectations for the night. My fiance made reservations for my 31st birthday based off of the pictures because he knows I love a good backdrop. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hostess who realized we were celebrating a birthday. She quickly upgraded our dining to a private dining booth without us having to request. She was such a sweet lady. Our night continued with the staff signing a birthday card for me. Who does that?! Usually the cards are generic but the staff signed the card, just too much. Our night continued with an attentive waiter. The food was spectacular. I usually don't eat all of my food but I actually wanted more it was so delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday experience. I thought I was just going to get a normal 'Happy Birthday' and the night would be done. I will definitely be returning to AG and suggesting this place to many others. Thank you AG of the Ritz Carlton for a great birthday experience!

There's better in Atlanta! Don't be fooled by the connection to the hotel. Food was average at best. Had the trout and vegetables w a side of wild mushrooms. All of it was drenched in butter which took away from the taste, but it did cover the bland taste of the fish. The "1999" salad tasted like it was from 1999. Warm, wilted and overbearing dressing. The waiter was in a hurry to turn the table so he rushed. Had to ask for sweeter for my tea multiple times as if it was an odd request from the norman"sweet tea: in the south. For the money, go to Morton or Ruth Chris at least you know what you're getting!

I had lunch here yesterday, shortly after checking into the Ritz. I ordered the $29 hanger steak. There was a huge piece of gristle running through all of the hanger slices I was served, making about half the portion completely inedible (they must have used a very sharp knife to slice it!). The waitress asked how our meal was, and I politely pointed out the gristle in the steak -- gleaming white. She made a sympathetic face and walked away, I assumed to have it corrected without my having to tell her that it needed to go back. We didn't see the waitress again until she brought the check, apologetically telling us that she had taken 10 percent off the tab. So my half-inedible steak cost $26.10 instead of full value. Two problems: 1) The kitchen produced a piece of meat that should never have been served (the problem was in plain view), and 2) The approach to comping bad food was as chintzy as it gets. I love this hotel and will stay here again, but I will not visit AG. With so many nearby restaurants where kitchen and wait staff care about food and service, there's no need to.

Someone cares about food here. I had the bone marrow to start which was awesome. The duck special was good. The drinks perfect if perhaps ungenerous. Wonderful space and great staff. I’m not sure why I never tried it before.

The decor is beautiful and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. We each had the filet mignon, which cooked perfectly to order. We prefer the steaks here to other high-end restaurants we tried in Atlanta. The sides are large enough for 2 people to share, and we had a very pleasant experience. I would not hesitate to go back.

Atomsphere was peaceful and relaxing. Menu alittle high but for quality Steaks fine with me. The Truffle Mac and Cheese was to DIE FOR. Some staff members talked about the wine and spirits like they were knowledgeable, but having Dinner with someone who actually knows about these things made it seem as if the staff was talking to us as if we didn't have a clue. (That was annoying). Some of us know how to taste, buy, and serve expensive wine and spirits; our home bars are filled with them. Overall great expirence but could have been better without the nonsense that the server kept telling us about the wines and spirits.

The steak was actually very good. Expensive but good. Server was not. It was a concert night so we didn't have unlimited time but plenty to enjoy a good dinner. Disaster. Took forever to take our drink order so we ended up ordering everything at the same time. We almost had time to enjoy a cocktail and the delicious bread before our dinner arrived. But. The wine didn't until we had already started eating. Server was non existent all night. We made the wrong decision to sit on the patio. Nice night but extremely loud on the street below and got louder the longer we were there. My fault. I should have stayed indoors. Perhaps the servers were better there.

Lovely atmosphere, and food. Service was okay, our waiter was extremely busy, would have liked more attention.

There's certainly some amazing places to eat in ATL but this is perhaps my favourite. As self-proclaimed foodies, we feel like we identify with great dishes and the AG has a few of them... particularly, surprisingly enough, the she crab soup. The serving staff, could, however, brush up just a little on the nuances of fine dining service, but overall, each experience is good enough to keep us coming back for more!

Went here for new years eve dinner. Wanted to try this spot for some time now. And being inside the Ritz Carlton I thought hey how can you go wrong, right? I have to agree with Melissa's post though. People dressed so informally I couldn't understand why my wife and I got all polished up for it. Pros: The filet was cooked perfectly, I could not complain about that. And the AG baked potato with crab was pretty decent. The shrimp cocktail was small, fried green tomatoes were average, and the truffle mac n cheese was OK. Not really to die for as I had read, and was told, by others who had gone there before me. Bottom line was that nothing was over the top or memorable enough to warrant these prices. Cons: Where it did disappoint was in the service. Host and hostess were very kind and helpful but that's where it ended. One server was so hard to understand we just had to smile and nod whenever he spoke to us. A kind soul, but not someone who should be put in this position if he can't speak clearly. And our main waiter took more breaks or just disappeared enough where we decided to just live with the fact that we weren't going to get water glasses filled or anything else that we may have needed. In this business the best experiences are had, in my mind, when the staff understands the proper amount of service and attention given to the proper amount of time left to yourselves. That balance wasn't here, and for that I only gave them 4 stars.

Their she crab soup is amazing. I thought they were a bit overpriced. Food was ok, but nothing special. Very elegant room and nice balcony to watch what's going on outside.

My wife and I were treated very well here - we were offered a private booth, which was very relaxing and comfortable. I had a Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned to start. It was done perfectly. We each had a salad - I had the Wedge, which was really tasty - and my wife had the Caesar, which was also very good. We shared a bottle of Justin Cab which was priced reasonably at $55 - pretty much a great deal as many restaurants sell it for $70. We do like other nice, pricier wines, but we were in the mood for Justin, so hey! We each decided on a steak - the 8 OZ filet. Mine came out perfect medium, but my wife's steak was blue...they fixed it and also took 10% off the tab for the inconvenience. Nice. We shared the baked potato with toppings. It was a little dry - could use more sour cream and freshly melted cheese. Just saying... Out server, Arnold, was attentive and friendly.

I had dinner here with a group of eight people. We had an unbelievable experience. Every course was outstanding. We had fried green tomatoes, parmesan fries, and the pork belly. For the main course everyone else had some version of steak, but I had their fish special. It was salmon topped with shrimp and shaved beets. It was incredible. We also ordered all of the sides to share. I think we ordered one of each and they were all great. The mac and cheese has a smokey flavor that went so well with it. The creamed kale was outstanding too. We were all so full that we had to skip dessert. And that was just the food. Z was our server and he was fantastic. There wasn't a single thing wrong with our meal and everything was perfect. Cocktails were amazing too.

Hubby and I ate here for lunch over a weekend stay. We had hoped we would get to sit outside on the balcony we saw outside the restaurant, but upon arriving was told it was under construction. Ended up eating in a large banquet type room, with little charm. No music playing. Very staid atmosphere. The waiters were friendly, but so very slow. There were only 4 other tables and it seems to take a long time for folks to be served. In fact, another couple who were seated after us received their food before we did. We each had sandwiches, and I am shocked at how long it took. Plus it was very expensive....2 sandwiches and coffee and tea was around $45 with tip. Wouldn't do this again, but it was convenient.

She crab soup was quite mediocre. The rack of lamb likewise. The service rushed and perfunctory. Have dined here many times before but it seems this restaurant has fallen on bad times.

We had Sunday lunch, and clearly this place is not super busy on Sunday's. They would not allow us to sit on the balcony I spite of the 70 degree sunny day. That's not really the service I would expect from a ritz restaurant. The food was good, but service a little slow.

The Atlanta Grill is a nice place to have dinner, especially when the place is quiet. We ate on the balcony and enjoyed the location, even when 25 or so motorcycles passed by in noisy convoy. Both of us had soup and the French Onion variety passed the test (often done badly). The steaks were good and cooked as ordered, but the star of the show was the excellent duck-fat fries. Neither of us had room for dessert, which will have to wait for another day. A nice Cahors Malbec wine accompanied the steaks and was good value.

Worst steak house experience ever. Ever element bad. Service awful. Food not acceptable. Prices outrageous it’s all around bad. Honestly the Irish bar across the street has far and away better food snd service. This is an embarrassment at a Ritz Carlton. A fast food drive through surpasses this place. Don’t waste your money.

The brunch menu is limited. My burger was fresh and delicious and wife said she enjoyed the red velvet waffles.

My husband and I splurge on a really expensive night out a few times a year, last night’s experience at AG was very disappointing. To be fair, the food and ambience was exceptional- the Cowboy Ribeye is a must. Would recommend the beef tartare - chef should consider raw quail eggs vs boiled for a more classic take on traditional steak tartare, but it was a delicious appetizer. Unfortunately, our server was unfriendly and inattentive- you would think for $120/head w/o tip he would understand that we are not just paying for the food, but the experience as well. He was cold, unfriendly and offered very long gaps in service. As an example, we were completely done w/our appetizer by the time I got my $20 glass of wine, and my husbands beer was nearly gone before he was offered another beer (not by a our server but by our food runner, who by the way was excellent and extremely friendly, we wished he would have been our server!) After our server was triple sat, service continued to decline. Overall, good experience, but for the price, look elsewhere.

What a wonderfull place, had breakfast and dinner here. Had dinner there on 8/2/16, service was great from the time you walk in and are greeted, till the end of your meal. Food was FANTASTIC. Had there breakfast buffet on Saturday morning, wow what a spread on the bar top. GREAT, Great, Great !!!!!

Sat for good 10 plus minutes before server introduced themselves. Another 5 minutes for water/bread. Ordered wine and waited additional 15 minutes before finding out it wasn’t even in stock. Took several minutes for a different bottle to arrive. Server opened and put the bottle right in ice chiller without pouring us glasses! Bad service continued and evening went progressively downhill from there. Food was decent but $300 plus later to be basically ignored is inexcusable. Would not recommend - and will not return.

We went to the AG for our 9th anniversary and had a spectacular experience thanks to our waiter, Zamal. He is such an asset to this restaurant. He made our experience very special and gave us an anniversary dinner that we'll never forget. He even had the chef craft a special dessert for us. Thank you, Zamal!

Business luncheon earlier this week at AG. Service was outstanding as was the food. Location makes it very convenient for the downtown business person

My wife had the banana French toast. It was coated in vanilla wafers. It was a wonderful twist on a traditional breakfast item. My breakfast included duck fat potatoes that were very tasty. Try them if you can - they're worth the carbs!

We didn't know what to expect when the bellman suggested we stay in and eat at the AG restaurant. Wow, the food was excellent, the wine list was fabulous, service was great, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We ate at the bar, ordered a bottle of wine we've never seen on a menu YET we toured that vineyard in Napa - too fun. Highly recommend the AG for a great meal.

AC Hotel was very good very friendly. We researched hotels in the area which were more than we cared to spend. Hotel was resonalbly price for the area + parking $35.00 per day (ugh) but we can't complain, that goes with the city. We were close to where we wnated to go and enjoyed our stay. Would do it again!

Fantastic service, excellent food, and a cozy yet classic atmosphere make this a wonderful dining experience. We came here for my daughter's birthday dinner, and the staff really took great care in making her feel special. They gave us some complimentary grapes and bread to start, which were both fresh and super tasty. Our entrees were exquisitely prepared and served piping hot. I got the bronzino, which was fresh with crispy skin on the outside and moist on the inside. The accompanying veggies and mashed potatoes were some of the best I've had and really added to the dish. My wife had the chicken which was flavorful but a bit dry at one end. The chicken tenders were great; both of my kids approved them. We finished off dinner with a complimentary dessert of ice cream and brownies. My daughter was skeptical at first since it seemed so plain, but as soon as she tasted 1 bite she couldn't stop eating more; it was that good! We had a great time and I whole heartedly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for an amazing dining experience.

We had a good dinner here. Our server, Arnoud, was excellent. The steak served had tons of fat on it so they comped our first bottle of wine & gave us free deserts, in other words they took care of business. OUTSTANDING way to do business.

Our meal started with great cocktails, awesome appetizers and the steaks were perfection. Arnoud our waiter was exceptional. I will be back to this great, comfortable, classy restaurant again.

Our annual winter drive south to Florida included an overnight stay at the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta, a property that stands confidently on its own as a polished and welcoming destination. That evening, we chose to dine at AG Steakhouse, the hotel’s signature restaurant—and it proved to be a decision well made. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt considered and unhurried. We were seated promptly at a well-positioned table that allowed for relaxed conversation, setting the tone for the evening. Service was professional and knowledgeable; our server offered thoughtful recommendations and guided us smoothly through cocktails and wine selections, both of which were well executed and complemented the meal nicely. The food was the clear highlight. My wife began with AG’s original salad, which she described—without hesitation—as one of the best she has ever had. Her entrée of scallops continued the theme: beautifully prepared, flavorful, and balanced. I opted for a prime ribeye with whipped potatoes, a classic pairing done right. The steak was rich and satisfying, the potatoes indulgent without being heavy. While our server appeared stretched across multiple tables, he remained attentive and genuinely engaged, always finding time to check in and assist—an effort we noticed and appreciated. The ambiance fits the setting perfectly: refined, comfortable, and unmistakably steakhouse in character, without feeling dated or overly formal. It aligns well with the Ritz-Carlton’s understated elegance. If you are staying at the hotel—or even nearby—AG Steakhouse is absolutely worth an evening reservation. It delivers a well-rounded dining experience that balances quality, atmosphere, and service with confidence and consistency.

The AG is a warm inviting restaurant with exceptional service and great food. I ate Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (on different days) and all menu's were extensive and the food delicious. I would highly recommend reservations at all times. There is a beautiful verandah overlooking Peachtree which looks great in the warmer weather. Unfortunately, I was there in January and could not take advantage of it. Mention you are a guest of the hotel and receive a discount on your food.

Went for lunch on a Thursday. The wait to be seated was inexplicable. No bartender on duty so waiter tried to make his first Manhattan; I sent it back. Entree portion (a cheese steak!) was skimpy. Wait for dessert was inexcusable. I won't be back.

Had breakfast here twice. Excellent food. Had eggs Benedict one day and the egg sandwich the second day. Both were excellent. Not cheap, but excellent food.

Atlanta Grille (AG) located second floor of Ritz Carlton on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta. Outside and inside seating. I sat outside. Comfortable and not too noisy. Busy. Food was above average for sure and price comparison. I had shrimp cocktail, ceaser salad, filet and scallops. Worth the visit. Pleasant staff. Good service.

The restaurant is being remodeled so it is set up in a banquet room, never mentioned on the website...It was like being at a wedding hall. The service was extremely slow, over an hour between salads and entrée. I guess I expected too much from a Ritz Carlton restaurant. I was entertaining 7 business clients and was very disappointed.

Waiters are a great example of southern kindness, the sommelier does a great job without presumption (Short and precise comments with undeniable knowledge), it is a good place to gather with friends to enjoy conversation while sipping wine or cocktails before food is served. The quality of the food, the presentation of the dishes, and the temperatures are meticulously taken care of.

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Atlanta recently and had occasion to have both breakfast and dinner at AG, their restaurant on the second floor. The venue is awesome, however, the food, not so much. I mean, it's ok, but, after all, this is a Ritz Carlton, and I'm sorry, but expectations are simply higher for such a venerable brand. In all fairness, they treated us well. The manager was great, and caring, and gave us a complimentary dinner after our breakfast was a disaster. Unfortunately, the dinner wasn't great either. I'm not going to belabor it, but they need to work on their food quality, selection and execution. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Food was pretty good. Online menu not entirely up to date. Service was friendly and professional, but food was slow to come out. 2 hours for 3 courses. Atmosphere can be more of a bar than fine dining. If staying at the Ritz, would not hesitate to recommend.

My husband and I were in Atlanta celebrating our 8th anniversary and we stayed at the Ritz in downtown Atlanta. This restaurant is a part of the Ritz, so we had very high expectations. We made reservations and noted that it was our anniversary. The hostess greeted us pleasantly and congratulated us, but that was the last we heard from anyone about the special occasion. Our waiter literally made no conversation with us. He took our orders and came back as little as possible to ensure that our meal was good. It took a wave to get him to stop by and fill up our water. He never mentioned our anniversary. At the end, he brought the check and no pen. We had to flag down another waiter to get a pen. The food was good, but bad service can really ruin a meal. For the expense and it being at the Ritz, we were expecting so much more out of this special night.

Great location downtown, great atmosphere however a too slow service (an hour between starters and mains) doesn’t give justice to the place.

We had Saturday brunch at the Ritz, the service was great and relatively quick, there were many delicious food options to pick from and given that it was brunch at the Ritz, it was pretty good value for price. Make sure to ask for the scones, we had cheese and chive scones, they were hot, flaky, and perfect for a bite sized taste. We tried the following dishes: - Bagel (upgraded version of avocado toast on a Jerusalem bagel with a poached egg, if you’re a fan of avocado toast, you will love this) - red velvet waffles (red velvet + Belgium waffles, enough said) - vegetarian omelette ( a hearty omelette loaded with delicious veggies and cheese, a classic farm to table type of dish)

Conner runs a great restaurant. I'm in the service business so I am always mentally taking notes any time I visit a hotel or restaurant. I'm a Ritz member and was staying at Ritz Atlanta for Eagles Concert and 32nd anniversary. And revisiting the place we spent our honeymoon in 1985. Experience of check in at hotel was horrible and we were second guessing our plans. All this changed at AG. We explained to our server that we were running late to our reservation because we had waited 2 and half hours for our room and we were headed to concert. It was our anniversary and we had actually stayed at there and had dinner in the same place 32 years before. Conner the Restaurant Supervisor came out greeted us, listened to our Ritz story and our Anniversary story. He took over and made everything great. He made up for the poor service we got in the hotel lobby. We were given a complimentary round of wine before our meal. Appetizers came out... Great. Dinner served in timely fashion.... Very good. The appetizer and meal was amazing and a complimentary bottle of champagne for honeymoon..... Wow!!!! Then he offered us a shuttle to the concert knowing we were pressed for time. We got to concert just in time for first song 7 Bridges Road. Food was great but service over the top. Thank you Conner.

On Christmas day we made a reservation at the AG @ Ritz Carlton Atlanta downtown for dinner as we wantes to try their Christmas menu as featured on AJC. The welcoming of the hostess was very well in usual and expected Ritz standards however the server who was assigned to our table was absolutely disappointing! He obviously had no idea of the high service standards expected at AG @Ritz and the etiquette of serving at a fine dining restaurant! No eye contact, no smiling, no checking on our food, or following up on serving our proseco which we had to do ourselves off the bottle again and again. The wait time between our appetizers and entree was over 30 min.. for a $$$ tag the service quality we received was barely $.. definetely not recommended!

We had dinner at AG and really enjoyed the service, in fact the best we received while in Atlanta for 6 nights. The food was very good and we would come back here again although the prices are quite a bit higher than other places we went this trip.

I am a frequent guest at this hotel. I also have eaten here many times. They recently renovated it to make it a little more up to date. Service was good as usual however the food quality has dropped. I had a crab cake and it was more bread than crab. I was also informed that they no longer serve those nice little biscuits and muffins at lunch any more. A bit disappointed in the food quality for a great place.

Our server, Zamal, was awesome!!! He was enthusiastic & treated us with the utmost respect. His assistant server, Tommy, was also very good & always refilled my water glass promptly, and I drink A LOT of water! We started with the Caesar salad, which was tasty, but was difficult to cut up. For our entrees, we ordered filets, cooked medium and prepared Pittsburgh char. They were both prepared perfectly! The most impressive part of the meal was when Zamal came to our table, beforehand, with a selection of steak knives for us to choose from. These were very high end steak knives and cut through the filets so easily. We have been to some pretty nice steak restaurants, but this is the first time we have ever been able to select our own steak knife! For sides, we ordered the macaroni and cheese and creamy spinach. The Mac-n-cheese was probably the best we have ever had. Not sure I would order the creamy spinach again, as it is slightly different from creamed spinach. For dessert, we split the peach cobbler with ice cream. I personally do not care for peaches, but my husband loves them. With that said, however, I absolutely loved this peach cobbler!! French pressed coffee is offered, but I was too full for that. We ordered a bottle of red wine to enjoy with dinner. The selection of wines is largely from Napa. We prefer wines from the state of Washington or a good Shiraz from Australia. The restaurant’s Sommelier said his wine list caters to what the majority of their customers want, and I can certainly understand that, but it would have been nice to see a wider variety of New World wine AVA’s. That is being very picky though. The Washington wine we selected was very enjoyable! This dining experience was one of the best we have ever had and we cannot wait to return in 2019! Connor, the manager, also stopped by our table to see how things were going & we had a great conversation with him. Highly recommend AG for a nice night out, with great food & excellent service!

We ate breakfast here the morning of our stay. It was very good and tasty and plentiful. The service was attentive and nice and the prices weren't over the moon for breakfast. Would definitely go again, however my only suggestion is they broaden the menu a little bit to more basics. Sometimes you just want a plain bagel and a scrambled egg or a fruit cup without all the fanfare.

Had a wonderful pretty meal here. Salmon and a few sides. Very delicious and great staff. Pretty room.
Steakhouse can't cook a steak
Nice place. Great atmosphere. Server didn't speak the best English and wasn't familiar with cocktails. A Caesar salad shouldn't have anchovies on it(it's supposed to be an ingredient in the dressing). I told them not to put anchovies on or salads but they came with anchovies. My wife ordered her steak Medium Rare and It came out Raw. We sent it back, and after an inordinate amount of time, it came out Well Done. They took the steak off the bill but my wife's meal was ruined. A "Steak House" shouldn't have that sort of issue especially at their price points.
